Abstract

The research consist of two steps. The first step discusses about the development of physics teaching and learning materials of guided discovery model, in order to practice science process skills by adapting 4-D model. The second focuses on the implementation of the physics learning set developed by using one group pretest-posttest research design.It is done to 32 students on X C of SMAN 1 Pamekasan 2012/2013 which concern on the main topic Temperature and Heat, by four observers and without replication. The developed materials set is lesson plan (RPP), worksheets (LKS), student’s book, and form of assesment validated by three experts (validator). Those are categorized “good” and ”visiable” to be used in the teaching-learning process. The result of this research is analized descriptively, namely: (1)the lesson plan (RPP)implementation is categorized “good” with implemented persentage 92,25%, (2)the most dominant of students learning activity is doing discovery activity to practice the students science process skills that is 32,91%, (3)the improvement of students science process skills through the result of 8 aspects observationclassically, (4)the result of students learning on THB product, science process skills, and psycomotoric individually have improvement and it’s classically categorized “complete”, (5) students response positively and anthusiastically toward guided learning discovery in order to practice science process skills, and (6) the obstacles found on this field, students are not familiar with guided learning discovery model and doing scientific research to practice science process skill, so that the use of time often is not suitable with the lesson plan (RPP) due to the new discoveries that must be explanned to the students. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap. Tahap pertama mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran fisika model penemuan terbimbing untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains dengan mengadaptasi model 4-D. Tahap kedua adalah implementasi perangkat pembelajaran fisika yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Peneltian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Pamekasan dengam sampel 32 orang siswa kelas X C tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 pada materi pokok suhu dan kalor, dengan empat orang pengamat  tanpa replikasi. Perangkat yang dikembangkan berupa RPP, LKS, Buku Ajar Siswa, dan Lembar Penilaian telah divalidasi oleh tiga pakar (validator) dengan kategori baik dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif diantaranya, (1) keterlaksanaan RPP dikategorikan baik, dengan persentase keterlaksanaan 92,25%, (2) aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran yang paling dominan adalah melakukan kegiatan penemuan untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa sebesar 32,91%, (3) hasil pengamatan 8 aspek keterampilan proses sains siswa secara klasikal meningkat, (4) hasil belajar siswa pada THB produk, keterampilan proses sains maupun psikomotor secara individu meningkat dan secara klasikal dikategorikan tuntas, (5) respon siswa positif dan antusias terhadap pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa, dan (6) kendala/hambatan yang ditemukan di lapangan, siswa masih belum terbiasa dengan pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing, dan melakukan penyelidikan ilmiah untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains, sehingga penggunaan waktu kadang kurang sesuai dengan RPP karena banyak hal baru yang perlu dijelaskan pada siswa.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop biology inquiry-based instructional materials, on the topic Human Excretion System to facilitate senior high school students to think critically and work cooperatively. The instructional materials consisted of the lesson plan, worksheet, learning material, and evaluation instruments. Before the try-outing, the instructional materials had been validated by expert and good categorized.  The result showed that: 1) the developed instructional materials were feasible; 2) the lesson plan had been well implemented (98%); 3) the highest students activities were discussion (27,56%), writing hypotheses (22,16%), formulating conclusion (13,70%), and testing hypotheses using the data collection (13,14%); 4) student learning outcomes including the ability of the achievement of competence indicators completeness 88% and  the think critically had reached 95,6% of mastery level in the indicator gives the argument (92,6%) and take decisions and actions (88,1%); 5) student motivation level based on the ARCS instrument were respectively: 4,48 for Attention, 4,44 for Relevance, 4,22 for Confidence, and 4,47 for Satisfaction. The percentage of student response to the instructional process was 80,77% , 84,62% to the teaching materials, 82,05% to the worksheets; and 6) 87,3% in collaboration work. Based on the above result showed that developed biology inquiry based instructional materials on the topic Human Excretion System were feasible to facilitate senior high school students to think critically and work cooperatively. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang layak berdasarkan pendekatan berbasis inkuiri pada pokok bahasan sistem eksresi manusia dalam upaya untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kerjasama siswa SMA. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah Silabus, RPP, Materi Ajar, LKS, dan Instrumen Penilaian. Sebelum diujicobakan perangkat pembelajaran telah divalidasi oleh pakar dan hasilnya valid dan berkategori baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan secara keseluruhan layak digunakan; 2) keterlaksanaan RPP adalah 98% terlaksana baik; 3) aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang tertinggi adalah berdiskusi dengan guru  atau siswa lain, yaitu (27,56%), menuliskan hipotesis (22,16%), membuat kesimpulan (13,70%), dan menguji hipotesis (13,14%); 4) hasil belajar siswa yang meliputi ketuntasan indikator ketercapaian kompetensi 88,8% dan keterampilan berpikir kritis rata-rata (95,6%) dengan persentase tertinggi pada indikator memberikan argumen (96,2%) dan mengambil keputusan dan tindakan (88,1%); 5) respon siswa siswa terhadap pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari nilai angket dengan menggunakan ARCS, yaitu untuk Attention (perhatian) = 4,48, Relevance (relevansi) = 4,44, Convidence (keyakinan) = 4,22, dan Satisfacation (kepuasan) = 4,47, Persentase respon untuk proses pembelajaran 80,77%, materi ajar 84,62%, dan LKS 82,05%; 6) kemampuan kerjasama siswa tertinggi pada aspek menghargai anggota kelompok, yaitu 87,3 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  perangkat pembelajaran biologi berbasis inkuiri yang dikembangkan adalah layak dan dapat melatih keterampilan berpiki kritis dan kerjasama siswa SMA pada materi Sistem Ekskresi Manusia.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is conducted to examine the effect of Scaffolding-based  (CC) learning models on the ability of scientific reasoning physics of high school students. The research population was MAN Bondowoso 2019/2020 students and the research sample was the students of class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2. The research techniques used were observation, tests and documentation. There are two stages of data analysis technique, they are normality test and independent sample t-test using SPSS version 23. The result shows that the experimental class and control class data are normally distributed, that is the sig value. > 0.05. Independent test sample t-test using SPSS 23 on the scientific reasoningphysics capability obtained sig. (2-tailed) by 0,038 and the result of sig. (1-tailed) for 0,019 meaning that the test is <0.05. The results showed that the  model based on Scaffolding had a significant effect on the ability of scientific reasoning physics of high school students of high school students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a prototype of teacher’s book and student’s book, that is  valid, practical, and effective to facilitate students scientific creativity. This research is conducted through three phases, namely define, design, and develop. Those prototypes are try out in  VII grade  SMPN 30 Surabaya academic year 2014/2015 with one-group pretest-posttest design. Data are colleted using observation method, tests, and questionnaires. Data are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that 1) the prototype of teacher’s and student’s book are categorized valid; 2) Learning using the prototipe of teacher’s book looked at from the implementation of learning package categorized as practice and students activity in line with the steps of discovery learning; 3) The effectiveness of learning of the prototype of teacher’s book viewed from the increattement of student’s scientific creativity score according to paired sample pretest and posttest in significant < 0,05. Students response  to learning package and the implementation  is very positive. It can be concluded that the prototipe of teacher’s book and students book is valid, practice and effective to train students scientific creativity. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Prototipe Buku Guru dan buku siswa yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan kreativitas ilmiah siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan tiga tahap dari model 4-D (Four-D Model), yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop) dan diujicobakan di kelas VII SMPN 30 Surabaya semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015 dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) Prototipe Buku Guru dan buku siswa yang dikembangkan berkategori valid; 2) Pembelajaran menggunakan Prototipe Buku Guru ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori praktis dan aktivitas siswa sesuai dengan tahap-tahap pada model penemuan terbimbing; dan 3) Keefektivan Prototipe Buku Guru pembelajaran ditinjau dari: Peningkatan kreativitas ilmiah siswa terlihat dari signifikansi menggunakan uji Paired Sample Test pretest dan posttest sig < 0.05 dan respon siswa terhadap perangkat dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sangat positif. Prototipe Buku Guru dan buku siswa yang dikembangkan disimpulkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan kreativitas ilmiah siswa.

Abstract

PO2E2W learning model (problem orientation, observation, explanation, elaboration, and write in science) assisted by PhET media is a learning model that is oriented towards self regulated learning which in the process of physics learning activities is carried out with the help of PhET media. The purpose of this study was to analyze the practicality of the PO2E2W model assisted by PhET media in improving the physics problem solving skills of high school students. This research was carried out at Kemala Bhayangkari 1 High School (Surabaya, Indonesia) for students of class XI IPA 1, XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3. Criteria for practicality of learning devices in this study were based on (1) the implementation of the learning implementation plan (RPP) during one meeting in class XI IPA 1 and the implementation of the learning plan (RPP) for five meetings in class XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3, (2) obstacles during learning activities. The number of observers in this study is two observers. The aspects observed consisted of introduction, core and closing activities. Based on the results of the practicality study of the PO2E2W model assisted by PhET media, the results obtained (1) the average assessment of two observers in class XI IPA 1 was 3.30 with good category with a percentage of agreement 96.75%, XI IPA 2 was 3.71 in very both with a percentage of agreement 95.84% and in class XI IPA 3 was 3.76 in very good category with a percentage of agreement 96.85% (2) obstacles during learning activities that can be overcome properly. Conclusion based on the results of the study of the freeness of the PO2E2W model assisted by PhET media is practically applied in learning to improve the physics problem solving skills of senior high school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar Fisika melalui pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan yang bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan mengadaptasi model 4-D, dilanjutkan dengan tahap pelaksanaan pada pembelajaran di kelas menggunakan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Validitas perangkat pembelajaran yang meliputi: (a) Validitas komponen RPP dengan skor rata-rata 4,09 (sangat baik), (b) Rerata skor BAS yang meliputi sub komponen kelayakan isi 3,53 (sangat baik), kebahasaan 3,43 (sangat baik), penyajian 3,42 (sangat baik), (c) Rata-rata skor validasi LKS 4,32 (sangat baik), (d) Soal pretest-posttest yang valid. (2) Keterlaksanaan KBM rata-rata 3,86 (sangat baik), aktivitas siswa mempunyai indeks reliabilitas rata-rata 90% dengan kegiatan paling dominan berdiskusi dalam merumuskan kesimpulan. Analisis N-Gain hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan: 42% siswa mengalami peningkatan sedang dan 58% siswa mengalami peningkatan yang tinggi. Respon siswa menunjukkan tertarik, mudah dan berminat dalam mengikuti KBM. Berdasarkan hasil-hasil analisis data dalam  penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Fisika siswa SMA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbasis praktikum pada materi laju reaksi terhadap penguasaan konsep dan sikap ilmiah siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu SMA swasta di Kota Bogor kelas XI IPA pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Populasi berjumlah 192 siswa dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 siswa yang dibagi ke dalam 31 siswa mengikuti pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbasis praktikum dan 29 siswa mengikuti pembelajaran tradisional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui test penguasaan konsep laju reaksi dan angket sikap ilmiah dengan skala likert. Data dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan independent t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara penguasaan konsep siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbasis praktikum (rata-rata 80,7) dan penguasaan konsep siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran tradisional (rata-rata 74,8). Sikap ilmiah siswa juga menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan inkuiri terbimbing berbasis praktikum (rata-rata 3,2) dan sikap ilmiah siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran tradisional (rata-rata 2,2). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbasis praktikum dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan sikap ilmiah siswa.

Abstract

Implementation peripheral of study with character aim to overcome student moral decadence with moral attitude and improve result learn cognate at Human Reproductive System being use meaningful model study.The researcher use One Group Pretest-Postest Design during the implementation. The data were analized using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. Result of implementation peripheral of study with character orient model study of meaningful in this research categorized very good. The implementation of the four lesson plans were very good. The 23 learning objectives were achieved. The achievement of moral attitude in moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral acting were very good. Suggestion the proposed is require to be developed by peripheral of study with character at different discussion fundamental to inculcate character values to educative participant Implementasi perangkat pembelajaran berkarakter bertujuan untuk mengatasi dekadensi moral siswa dengan membelajarakan sikap moral dan meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif pada pokok bahasan Sistem Reproduksi Manusia menggunakan model pembelajaran pemaknaan. Rancangan penelitian yang dipakai adalah One Group Pretest-Postest Design dan hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil implementasi perangkat pembelajaran berka rakter berorientasi model pembelajaran pemaknaan dalam penelitian ini dikategorikan sangat baik. Keterlaksanaan rata -rata dari keempat RPP dikategorikan sangat baik. Ketuntasan dari 23 Tujuan Pembelajaran tercapai. Hasil belajar kognitif mencapai 95% tuntas. H asil belajar sikap moral pada aspek pengetahuan moral (moral knowing), perasaan moral (moral feeling), dan tindakan moral (moral acting) mencapai 100% tuntas dengan kategori sangat baik. Saran yang diusulkan adalah perlu dikembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berkarakter pada pokok bahasan yang berbeda untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter kepada peserta didik.

Abstract

This research aims to develop valid, practical, and effective science learning material using project learning model to facilitate creative thinking skills on object motion in junior high school. Design of the development are used follow 4D model desin. The learning kit being validated by experts are syllabus, lesson plan, student work sheet, handout, and creative thinking question. The objective of this research was to trial learning materials in 39 grade VIII students in SMPN 31 Surabaya with One Group Pretest Postes Design. The results were analyzed by descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The result were obtained shows that the developed learning materials are: (1) Validity of learning material valid category (3,58); (2) Practicality based on: a) Feasibility of instruction good category (3,9); b) Readability of worksheets and student’s book students stating that the content and appearance of worksheets and student’s book good category; (3) Effectiveness based on: a) Student’s activities high category (93%); b) Result of creative thinking students increased with medium category (N-Gain: 0,62), result of creative thinking students increased with medium category (N-Gain:0,674) in fluency thinking aspect, result of creative thinking students increased with high category (N-Gain:0,726) in flexible thinking aspect, result of creative thinking students increased with medium category (N-Gain:0,531) in original thinking aspect, and result of creative thinking students increased with medium category (N-Gain:0,530) in elaboration thinking aspect; c)The response of students very positively (92%). The conclusion of this research that science learning material developed base on project learning model valid, practical, and effective to facilitate student’s creative thinking in junior high school. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaranIPA model proyek yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP materi gerak benda. Rancangan pengembangan yang digunakan mengikuti rancanagn model 4D. Perangkat  pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi Silabus, RPP, Handout siswa, LKP, dan Soal berpikir kreatif. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan: (1) Validitas perangkat kategori valid (3,58); (2) Kepraktisan perangkat yang meliputi: a) Keterlaksanaan baik (3,9); b)Keterbacaan Handout dan LKP baik; (3) Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran yang meliputi: a) Aktivitas siswa dengan kategori tinggi (93%); b) Hasil berpikir kreatif siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan kategori sedang (N-Gain: 0,62), pada aspek berpikir lancar (fluent) mengalami peningkatan berkategori sedang (N-Gain: 0,674), berpikir luwes (flexible) mengalami peningkatan berkategori tinggi (N-Gain: 0.726), berpikir orisinal (original) mengalami peningkatan berkategori sedang (N-Gain: 0,531), dan berpikir terperinci (elaboration) mengalami peningkatan berkategori sedang (N-Gain: 0,530); c) Respon siswa terhadap perangkat dan model pembelajaran sangat positif (92%). Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA model proyek valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of student worksheet with Chemo-Entrepreneurship oriented on colloid matter to train creative thinking skill. This research use Research and Development design with one group pretest and posttest method in 12th grade of SMAN 1 Driyorejo Gresik to know the effectiveness of worksheet. The instrument used in this research was creative thinking skill test sheet. The worksheet stated effective if the posttest result for each component of creative thinking get percentage >75% with creative thinking ability in high or very high category. The result of research shown that there was an increase in students’ creative thinking skill abilities. The pretest result shoen that the students’ creative thinking skill ability were in low and very low category, while the posttest result of creative thinking skills shown that students’ creative thinking skills were in the high and very high category with each component of creative thinking such as fluency, flexibility, elaboration and originality thinking got percentage  91,67%, 85,97%, 77,8%, 81,25%.
