Abstract

Online-based quizzes have been widely used to enhance student learning outcomes, but their impact on test performance in 8th grade has not been thoroughly examined. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of weekly online-based quizzes in improving the test scores of 8th-grade students at SMPN 1 Mataram. A quantitative pre-test and post-test design was implemented with 30 participants. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ test scores, supporting the integration of online-based quizzes as a tool to enhance learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve vocabulary and grammar skills for tourism practitioners in Bayan Village and to design teaching English for tourism practitioners using Standpoint Model. A qualitative descriptive research design was employed to explore the specific English language needs of ten tourism practitioners, including chief of tour guides, tour guides, the weavers of Poleng and Londong Abang, souvenir sellers, and Bayan village specialty drink. The research was conducted in Bayan Village, North Lombok. Data collection procedures included observation, interview, and documentation, while the instruments used comprised observation sheets and interview sheets. The results of this research showed that the syllabus was created for tourism practitioners in Bayan Village, the English language learning design was designed using the Standpoint Model, which focuses on the specific needs of tourism practitioners based on their context and work environment by determining authentic tasks and texts used to develop a syllabus designed to meet their needs, this model involves: Needs Analysis, Determining Authentic Tasks and Texts, Designing Learning Objectives, Selecting Content and Methods, and Assessment. English learning can be more relevant and effective in improving the communication skills of tourism practitioners, thus supporting the development of sustainable tourism in Bayan Village.

Abstract

The low critical thinking skills of students that researchers found when carrying out observations at SMP Negeri 10 Palembang had an impact on the learning process of students becoming passive and had an impact on the grades produced by students as seen from the lack of answers when asked questions and then the learning outcomes that still did not meet the criteria for completeness. teach. This research uses the PTK (Classroom Action Research) method which is applied to class VII-10 of SMP Negeri 10 Palembang with a total of 36 students. The implementation of this research includes 3 cycles which include planning, acting, and observing, implementation and observation. The instruments used in this research were observation sheets and pretest posttest carried out in each cycle. Based on the results obtained in this research, it was found that there was an increase in students' critical thinking abilities by using the learning model probing prompting which is proven through improvements in each learning cycle carried out, this can be seen in cycle I which reached 44% increased to 68% in cycle II then experienced an increase again in cycle III which reached 83%. Then an increase in results was found pretest-posttest What has been done has proven to be an increase pretest cycle I which reached 5.5% which increased in cycle II with an achievement of 69% and 83% in cycle III, besides that on posttest experienced an increase reaching 16% in cycle I which increased to 86% in cycle II and experienced an increase again in cycle III which reached 94%.

Abstract

Bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning Terhadap Kemampuan HOTS Kelas X SMAN 6 Bulukumba. Pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) siswa pada pembelajaran PPKN kelas X di SMAN 6. Metode penelitian kuantitatif merupakan salah satu jenis penelitian yang menjelaskan secara sistematis, terstruktur, dan terencana dengan jelas sejak awal hingga pembuatan desain penelitiannya. Berdasarkan Penelitian yang telah dilakukan di SMAN 6 Bulukumba pada tanggal 19 Oktober samapai 19 November 2023 pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Yang terletak di Jl. Pendidikan Kel. Tanuntung, Kec. Herlang, Kabupaten Bulukumba, Provensi Sulawesi Selatan. Hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol tidak berbeda jauh yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai tertinggi posttest 93 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 90 untuk kelas control. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam pembelajaran PPKn dapat ditingkatkan dengan penerapan model project based learning pada siswa kelas X SMAN 6 Bulukumba. termasuk kategori “sangat baik” dan sudah mencapai ketuntasan klasikal.

Abstract

Pendidikan sains memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk sikap ilmiah peserta didik. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan sikap ilmiah adalah pembelajaran proyek kolaborasi berbasis potensi lokal. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran ini pada praktikum IPA dan dampaknya terhadap pengembangan sikap ilmiah siswa. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimen dan tehnik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling, penelitian ini melibatkan 30 siswa kelas XII di MA di Pondok Pesantren Qamarul Huda, Lombok Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran proyek kolaborasi berbasis potensi lokal berpengaruh secara signifikan (p<0.05) dalam meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa, peningkatkan sikap ilmiah tertinggi pada indikator senang belajar sains (89.25%) dengan kategori Sangat baik sedangkan indikator sikap ilmiah terendah pada implikasi sosial (83.75%) dengan kategori baik. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran inovatif di bidang pendidikan sains.

Abstract

Pengelompokkan siswa Sesuai Level Literasi siswa sangat dibutuhkan untuk menunjang masing-masing literasi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dampak pengelompokan siswa sesuai level literasi di SDN Tanak Embang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kulaitatif deskriptif dengan siswa mengalami keterlambatan dalam membaca, masih terbata-bata dalam membaca dan belum bisa mengenal huruf. Jumlah sunjek penelitian adalah 235 siswa dari kelas 1 hingga kelas 6. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan yaitu, triangulasi sumber data, teori dan metode. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan adalah pengelompokan siswa yang dilakukan di SDN Tanak Embang menimbulkan dampak positif dan berdampak negatif. Ada siswa yang mengalami dampak positif diantaranya terpenuhinya fasilitas belajar peserta didik, siswa memiliki rasa nyaman ketika mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar, dan memudahkan guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Selama penerapan pengelompokan siswa, siswa merasa senang dan terbantu untuk mengatasi kesulitan dalam membaca berbagai banyak hal, dan siswa yang sudah bisa membaca dikonsepkan untuk bisa memahami makna cerita yang ada. Sedangkan dampak negatif diantara lain adalah tidak semua pihak setuju terhadap pengelompokan peserta didik, siswa dengan kempuan rendah terkonsep sebagi siswa yang kurang pandai.

Abstract

Marriage is a sacred institution in Islam aimed at building a family based on sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah (tranquility, love, and mercy). However, the high divorce rates in various Muslim countries indicate issues in couples’ preparedness for married life. Pre-marital education serves as a crucial instrument in providing prospective spouses with an understanding of their rights, obligations, and conflict resolution in the family according to Islamic law. This study aims to analyze the role of pre-marital education in preventing divorce and its effectiveness in strengthening family resilience. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data collection techniques include literature studies, interviews with Islamic family law experts and pre-marital education providers, and document analysis of relevant policies. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, comprising data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.  The study results show that pre-marital education plays a significant role in enhancing couples’ understanding of effective communication, conflict management, and psychological and financial aspects of marriage. This program also contributes to raising awareness of the importance of commitment in marriage based on Islamic values. The study concludes that pre-marital education is an effective preventive measure in reducing divorce rates. Its implications suggest that governments and religious institutions should develop a more comprehensive and need-based pre-marital education curriculum for Muslim couples.

Abstract

Blended learning enhances managerial competence through a holistic Islamic leadership perspective. The study aims to explore Islamic leadership in blended learning to improve managerial competence and ethical job performance. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze the implementation of blended learning in PKA training at BPSDMD NTB. Data collection includes interviews, observations, and document analysis to explore the integration of Islamic leadership principles and their impact on managerial competence. The study found that effective blended learning requires strong participant engagement, reliable technology, interactive facilitation, and flexible scheduling. Key challenges include limited interaction, infrastructure issues, and time management, all affecting the success of managerial training at BPSDMD NTB. This study contributes to the academic discourse by bridging the gap between Islamic leadership and modern educational strategies, offering a model that can be adapted to various public sector training programs. This study concludes that integrating Islamic leadership into blended learning effectively enhances managerial competence, promotes ethical leadership, and supports inclusive, interactive training for public administrators in the digital era.

Abstract

Hadirnya berbagai teknologi digital menuntut untuk menciptakan pembelajaran matematika yang interaktif, efisien, dan menarik bagi siswa, salah satunya penggunaan E-LKPD. Studi ini memiliki tujuan guna mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis CORE pendekatan etnomatematika materi relasi dan fungsi untuk siswa kelas VIII. Metode yang digunakan berupa Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengadopsi model pengembangan ADDIE yang mencakup tahap analysis, design, dan development. Analisis data dilakukan melalui penilaian validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, serta penilaian respon siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Hasil validasi E-LKPD yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor sebesar 88,9% oleh ahli media dan 84% dari ahli materi, dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 86,5% dan termasuk kategori sangat valid; (2) Hasil respon guru mencapai 93,8% dan respon siswa 84,3%, dengan masing-masing termasuk kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil ini memperlihatkan bahwa E-LKPD yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas tinggi dan sangat praktis diimplementasikan dalam proses belajar mengajar matematika.

Abstract

Materi kimia yang sulit dan bersifat abstrak sering menjadi permasalahan yang ditemukan diberbagai sekolah. Oleh karena itu perlu dikembangkan sebuah perangkat pembelajaran yang memberikan kemudahan untuk memahami materi kimia tersebut salah satunya makromolekul. solusi yang ditawarkan adalah mengembangkan e-modul yang dapat digunakan melalui android. E-modul dikembangkan menggunakan aplikasi mit app inventor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui proses pengembangan modul pembelajaran kimia berbasis android pada materi makromolekul yang dikembangkan menggunakan mit app inventor pada tahap pendahuluan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D dengan model Plomp. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui validasi ahli dan respon pengguna menggunakan angket skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran kimia berbasis android pada materi makromolekul valid digunakan dengan persentase 89% dan 81% dengan kategori sangat layak. Serta hasil respon pengguna sebesar 91% oleh guru dan 93% oleh siswa dengan kategori sangat baik dan menarik.
