Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between mobility ability and pressure ulcers in patients in the inpatient ward of the Aceh General Hospital. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a cross sectional research design. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between mobility ability (p=0.000) and pressure ulcers in the inpatient room at Aceh General Hospital. The conclusion is that the lower the patient's level of mobility, the more severe the pressure ulcers they experience. Family participation is really needed to help patients who experience limited mobility so that they can still carry out routine repositioning. Key words: Mobilization ability; Inpatients, Pressure ulcers

Abstract

The aim of this review is to map the discharge planning implementation model and its effects. The research method uses a literature review by searching for appropriate articles in scientific databases, namely PubMed, EBSCO, ScienceDirect and Garuda using keywords based on the Population method: Diabetes mellitus; Concept: Discharge Planning and Context: Hospital. As a result of the research, after searching for articles, 44 articles were found that matched the research questions and resulted in 20 articles to be included in this review. Evaluation of the discharge planning implementation model used a research design of 7 RCT studies, 5 quasi-experimental studies, 3 cross-sectional studies, 2 retrospective studies, 1 qualitative study, 1 cohort study, and 1 comparative descriptive study. We identified several models for evaluating the implementation of discharge planning in DM patients. In conclusion, the evaluation model for implementing discharge planning in the form of training and education can increase knowledge and compliance with treatment as well as glycemic control. Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of acupressure on the fatigue level of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. This research method is a quasi-experimental method with a pretest design and a post-test non-equivalent control group design. The sampling technique is a non-probability sampling technique, namely the convenience sampling method. Respondents to this study were cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at the H. Adam Malik General Hospital in Medan, consisting of 32 respondents for the intervention group and 32 respondents for the control group. The fatigue measurement instrument uses the Brief Fatigue Inventory. Data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test, Chi-Square, and logistic regression. The results showed that the p-value <0.05 and there was no effect of age, anemia, chemotherapy cycles, and cancer stage on the level of fatigue in cancer patients. In conclusion, it is known that acupressure is effective in reducing the level of fatigue in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and is recommended as an independent nursing intervention to reduce fatigue in cancer patients. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-management guidance and self-care education on the quality of life of hypertensive patients in the working area of the East Rasanae Community Health Center, Bima City. This research method uses a Quasi-experimental research design with pre-test and post-test with control. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the quality of life score in the intervention group, namely 50,360, and the control group by 55,280, accompanied by a significance value of 0.008 (p < 0.05) and a calculated t value of - 2,788 (< t table (2.05954). Multivariate test The quality of sleep in the intervention group showed P-Value = 0.004. The conclusion is that there is an influence of self-management guidance education and hypertension self-care on the quality of life of hypertensive patients. Abstract

This research aims to identify the anxiety of parents and toddler-aged children who are hospitalized in the children's room. The method used was descriptive analytic with a population of all those accompanying children while being cared for and toddler-aged children who were cared for in the last three months (September, October, November), namely 153 people, and a sample of 60 respondents was obtained using purposive sampling techniques. The instrument for this research is the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) questionnaire. The research results showed that the majority of parents experienced mild anxiety, 29 respondents (48.3%), and the majority of toddler-aged children experienced mild anxiety, 30 respondents (50%). The conclusion was that most parents and toddler-aged children experienced mild anxiety. Keywords: Toddler Age Children, Hospitalization, Anxiety, Parents

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of a combination of deep breathing exercises and murottal on changes in pain and vital signs in patients after open heart surgery in intensive care. This research method uses a quasi-experimental design pre-post test. The results showed that the difference test between the treatment and control groups, there was a significant difference. value= 0.001, SpO2 with p value=0.000 and MAP with p value=0.000. The statistical tests used are the Independent t-test, Paired t-test, and Manova, with a significance level of α= 0.05. In conclusion, combining deep breathing exercises and murottal is a relaxation technique that can affect changes in pain and vital signs (pulse, RR, SpOâ and MAP) in patients after open heart surgery. Abstract

This study aims to determine the hemodynamic profile of pre-elderly men during high intensity interval training (HIIT) soccer training (minisoccer). This research method used a quasy experimental design with one group pretest-posttest, the hemodynamic profile variables studied were heart rate, blood pressure and mean arterial pressure (MAP) as measured by a digital tensimeter and using the formula 1/3 systolic + 2/3 diastolic. The results of the study obtained were changes in heart rate, blood pressure and MAP before and after exercise and there were differences in the average hemodynamic profile between before and after exercise with a p value of 0.000 in heart rate, p value of 0.001 in systolic and p value of 0.006 in diastolic. as well as a p value of 0.003 at MAP. The conclusion of this study is that HIIT training can control heart rate, lower blood pressure and reduce minisoccer MAP and in general can improve heart health in adult men through a hemodynamic predictor profile. Abstract

This study aims to determine murottal therapy in treating sleep pattern disorders in patients. This research method uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design. The results of research using the Wilcoxon test showed that the P-value was 0.000. Conclusion: There is an influence on the sleep quality of older people after listening to the Murottal Al-Qur'an. The duration providing Al-Qur'an or sound therapy for 15-30 minutes can improve the quality of older people's sleep comfort and increase the relaxation effect.
