Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of educational videos on teenagers' knowledge about unsafe abortion. The method used was a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest non-control group design, which was carried out in July 2022 at IKesT Muhammdiyah Palembang with a sample of 65 people who were given health education about preventing pregnancy emergencies. The results of the research show that statistically, health education can avoid emergencies of pregnancy; unsafe abortion in adolescents is effective in increasing respondents' knowledge with a p-value of 0.000. Conclusion: Educational videos can increase teenagers' knowledge about unsafe abortion Keywords: Video Education, Pregnancy Emergency, Adolescents, Unsafe Abortion

Abstract

This study aims to identify an analysis of factors related to nurses' job satisfaction during the COVID-19 transition period. This research method uses a cross-sectional design because the measurements of the independent and dependent variables are measured simultaneously at one time. The results of the research towards the final stage of this modeling, the results obtained based on the table above can be concluded that the value of R Square (R2) = 0.311, which means that the coaching and work motivation variables influence nurses' job satisfaction by 31.1% with the strength of the influence of a strong correlation with a significant p-value = 0,000. From the results of this equation, the regression obtained is nurse job satisfaction = 77.466 - 0.956 (coaching) - 0.942 (motivation)+0.026 (coaching and motivation). The conclusion is that coaching is the most dominant factor related to job satisfaction. Keywords: Coaching, Job Satisfaction, Motivation, COVID-19 Transition Period

Abstract

This research aims to identify Puskesmas nurses' resilience in facing the COVID-19 pandemic in Bandung City. The method used is quantitative descriptive. The research results showed that the majority of Bandung City Health Center nurses had moderate resilience (41.2%), others had low stability (35.3%), and a small number had high strength (23.5%). The aspect of resilience with the highest average is spiritual influence, and the lowest is trusting one's instincts, tolerance for negative things, and the strength to deal with stress. In conclusion, in facing the COVID-19 pandemic, most Bandung City Community Health Center nurses have good resilience. Keywords: COVID-19, Nurse, Community Health Center, Resilience

Abstract

This study aims to determine non-pharmacological interventions to prevent hypothermia in post-operative patients. The method used is a narrative review with the keywords nonpharmacologic hypothermia management, post-operative patients, non-pharmacologic hypothermia management, and post-operative patients. The databases used include PubMed, EBSCO, Taylor & Francis, and Garuda Portal. The research results showed that there were 14 articles comprising various non-pharmacological interventions to prevent hypothermia in post-operative patients, including forced-air warmers, warm intravenous fluids, electric blankets, and hot packs. In conclusion, several interventions, such as administering warm intravenous fluids using forced-air warmers, electric blankets, and hot bags, can help prevent hypothermia in post-operative patients in central surgical installation rooms. Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors influencing medication adherence in heart failure patients at Persahabatan Hospital. The research method used is observational analytics with a cross-sectional study approach using a retrospective system. The results showed that the characteristics of respondents who adhered to taking medication were 78 people (56.1%). Factors that are significantly related to medication adherence are anxiety and family support, and the most dominant variable is the Anxiety variable (p-value: 0.018., OR: 3.157., 95%CI 1.220 – 8.171). In conclusion, the more optimal the family support received by the respondent, the better their compliance with treatment. The more the respondent does not experience anxiety, the more obedient the respondent is in taking medication. Keywords: Determinants of Compliance with Medication, Heart Failure.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation on fatigue scores in lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy. This research method is quasi-experimental in the form of a Pre-Test and Post-Test with Control Group Design. The research showed an effect of progressive muscle relaxation on the fatigue score, p-value 0.000 < α 0.005. The dominant factor in fatigue is the frequency of chemotherapy. In conclusion, there is an influence of progressive muscle relaxation on fatigue scores. Keywords: Fatigue, Lung Cancer, Progressive Muscle Relaxation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze factors related to fatigue. This research method is quantitative analytical with correlational descriptive preparation using a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that HB caused a low decline in condition, the leading risk factor for fatigue. Bivariate analysis showed there was no relationship between age and fatigue (p 0.902), there was a relationship between HB and fatigue (p 0.03), there was no relationship between BMI and fatigue (p 0.155), there was no relationship between length of treatment and fatigue (p 0.091), there is no relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. In conclusion, there is no relationship between the independent and dependent variables. Keywords: HB, Breast Cancer, Fatigue, Chemotherapy

Abstract

This study aims to prove self-management factors, self-efficacy, and PSIA conditions as a prediction of the level of fatigue of diabetes ellipse cross-station patients. The results showed a relationship between age (p = 0.0001) and the time it was diagnosed (p = 0.0005). HB1AC (P = 0,0005), Self Management (P = 0.0001), Self Efficacy (P = 0,0001), and Psychological Conditions (P = 0,0005). CONCLUSION: the level of fatigue in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in friendship hospitals is relatively highly influenced by age variables, long diagnoses, HB1AC, self-management, self-efficacy, and psychological conditions. Variables that affect are the value of HB1AC Diiiku with a variable psychological condition and other variables. Keywords: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Level

Abstract

This research aims to explore families' experiences as caregivers regarding how to care for stroke patients at home and to design a concept assessment model for caregivers in caring for patients at home. The method used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study on the experiences of 16 family members as caregivers were summarized into four research themes, namely: control of risk factors that cause stroke by caregivers, changes in behavior and emotions of stroke patients and caregiver responses, strategies to improve self-care for stroke patients at home by caregivers, and strategies to increase muscle strength. The patient is at home with a caregiver. The draft instrument for the Cageur Stroke Score assessment is still a draft concept that needs to be developed in subsequent research. The images are risk factors for stroke, control of risk factors for stroke, amok, caregiver response, personal hygiene, skin integrity, and muscle strength. In conclusion, the family's experience as caregivers regarding how to care for stroke patients at home is the result of observing what nurses do while the patient is in hospital, and they are not ready to continue post-stroke care at home. The conceptual design of the assessment model for caregivers in caring for patients at home will be developed from research concept themes. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether deep breathing relaxation techniques can improve the hemodynamic status of hypertensive patients. This research method uses a cross-sectional design. The results of this study show that the p-value = 0.000 is smaller than the α = 0.05, which means that there is an influence of deep breathing relaxation techniques in improving the hemodynamic status of hypertensive patients. Conclusion The patient's deep breathing relaxation technique increases the patient's oxygen saturation before and after deep breathing relaxation.
