Abstract

This review aims to map and provide a general overview of the barriers and resilience strategies for Caregivers of patients with mental disorders who are hospitalized. This scoping review refers to Arksey and O'Malley's 2005 methodological framework which has been refined by JBI. The article search used five databases in the period 2012-2022, with the criteria: all studies with samples of Caregivers of patients with mental disorders who were hospitalized with English and Indonesian texts. As a result of the research, ten articles met the inclusion criteria. From the results of the review, it was found that there were three factors inhibiting the resilience of Caregivers of patients with mental disorders, namely personal, family and social factors. In conclusion, strategies to increase Caregiver resilience include personal, family, social background, social support and education factors. To overcome the factors inhibiting Caregiver resilience, namely by maximizing strategies for increasing the resilience of Caregivers for patients with mental disorders. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence DM sufferers' awareness of Diabetic Retinopathy complications. The research method used is an integrative review through 5 stages, namely problem identification, literature search, data evaluation, data analysis and presentation of findings. The research results show that lack of information about RD, lack of knowledge in carrying out eye examinations, lack of health insurance, are among the causes of the low level of awareness of DM sufferers regarding RD complications. Meanwhile, DM sufferers' awareness of RD complications is influenced by the fear of blindness as a complication of untreated RD. In conclusion, the government and health service providers need to adapt interventions and specifically increase the knowledge of DM sufferers about DM disease itself and its complications, especially RD, so that it is handled well so that permanent blindness can be prevented. Abstract

This study aims to describe the nursing management of acute pain problems in optimal one-day care in the Central Surgical Installation Room (IBS) RSUD using a 3M problem-based analysis (man, method, materials). The results of the research show that by carrying out optimal pain management, starting from assessment to evaluation of pain to optimizing non-pharmacological interventions (music therapy and deep breathing relaxation), patient pain complaints show improvement from moderate to mild scale (NRS) as well as the role of nurses in independent intervention also better. Problems studied in the room include the lack of optimal management of acute postoperative pain (from assessment to evaluation of pain, sometimes it is not done in the room), there is no SOP for pain intervention, there is no guideline for handling pain in the room, and the implementation of independent nurse intervention related to pain has not been implemented. In conclusion, with optimal assessment and evaluation of pain, including non-pharmacological technical interventions that are relatively easy to learn and apply independently by nurses, the results obtained are that the client's pain level is reduced from moderate pain on a scale of 5 to low pain on a scale of 3 on the NRS scale.
