Abstract

This study analyzes factors (superior support, commitment, resources, and communication) related to implementing Hospital Health Promotion (PKRS). The method used is quantitative with a cross-sectional analytical approach. The research results showed that there was a relationship between superior support (p=0.001), commitment (p=0.027), resources (p=0.000), and communication (p=0.022) on the implementation of Hospital Health Promotion (PKRS). In conclusion, the better the support from superiors, commitment of implementers, resources, and communication, the better the implementation of PKRS. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of soaking thermoplastic nylon denture bases in alkaline peroxide and 10% castor oil on the number of candida albicans, surface roughness, color stability, and flexural strength. This research method is laboratory experimental using thermoplastic nylon. The results showed that there was an effect of alkali peroxide and 10% castor oil on the number of candida albicans for eight days (p = 0.03) and 12 days (p = 0.003), there was no effect on surface roughness for eight days (p = 0.299 ), and there was an effect on surface roughness for 12 days (p=0.09). There was no effect on color stability and flexural strength for eight days and 12 days (p>0.05). This is the diffusion process between alkaline peroxide and castor oil into thermoplastic nylon, castor oil concentration, soaking time, and soaking temperature. In conclusion, drinking thermoplastic nylon denture base in 10% castor oil has the same results as soaking in alkaline peroxide. Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) therapy on reducing fatigue scores in HIV/AIDS patients. The research method uses a pre-post quasi-experimental design with a control group design. The study results showed that giving progressive muscle relaxation therapy to the intervention group decreased fatigue by 8.763 points, with a p-value of 0.000. In conclusion, advanced muscle relaxation therapy can be used as an intervention of choice to reduce fatigue conditions in HIV/AIDS patients for seven days, at least once a day, in the afternoon for 10-20 minutes per exercise, taking into account the factors of Hb levels, duration of ARV use, and psychological factors. Abstract

This research aims to find out what the input, process and output of the Sariningsih Hospital emergency trolley are and how they are managed. The method used is qualitative using a descriptive design. The research results show that aspects of research input, process and output are explained in the discussion. Emergency room (96% appropriate; 4% not appropriate); outpatient clinics (98% appropriate; 2% not appropriate); hospital emergency department (87% appropriate; 13% not appropriate); Polyclinics (87%) and inpatients (87%) were all included in this study. Conclusion management input (input) emergency trolley has done everything necessary to complete the job. Emergency trolley management does not need to meet external content requirements, and the availability of relevant forms is in accordance with the rules. Abstract

This study aims to identify differences in the mean value of systolic and diastolic blood pressure reduction in hypertension sufferers in the intervention and control groups. The method used is Quasi Experiment pre-test and post-test with a control group design. This study showed a significant difference in the mean values of systolic and diastolic pressure before and after foot massage for 30 minutes, carried out three times within six days in the intervention group. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the Independent Samples Test statistical test, obtaining a p-value of 0.000. In conclusion, there is a significant difference in systolic and diastolic blood pressure between the intervention group and the control group Keywords: Diastolic, Foot massage, Hypertension, Systolic

Abstract

This literature review aims to analyze what factors are associated with LOS in orthopedic surgery patients. This literature review was carried out using PRISMA guidelines, the electronic databases used were ScienceDirect, CINAHL and Pubmed with the keywords "Length of Stay' OR 'Hospital Discharge' OR 'Hospital Stay' AND 'Orthopaedic Surgery". The results obtained were 10 full text articles, using English, and published in the period 2013-2023. Based on the articles, five groups of factors were found, namely: respondent characteristics (gender and age), comorbidities, surgical time, social support, and attendance at preoperative education classes. Conclusion, Predicting LOS in surgery is an important factor because it helps hospitals provide quality surgical services, ensure patient safety, and plan optimal resources for patients. Further research is still needed to identify factors that influence the LOS of orthopedic surgery patients, especially in Indonesia.
