Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) on the level of Fatigue (tiredness) in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients who carry out Hemodialysis at the Hemodialysis Unit at Wangaya Hospital, Denpasar. The method used in this study is a case study with a total sample of 1 patient who identified nursing care problems with complaints of fatigue who underwent hemodialysis. The results of this study are that the intervention given is in accordance with the diagnosis, namely active and passive movement exercises according to the Progressive Muscle Relaxation SOP. After the client is given progressive muscle relaxation, they feel less tired than before and feel more relaxed. This shows that progressive muscle relaxation therapy is effective for CKD sufferers who are undergoing hemodialysis. The conclusions from the results of this study are based on the analysis of the therapy giving progressive muscle relaxation effectively to relieve fatigue in patients undergoing hemodialysis, so that patients appear more relaxed and complain of fatigue reduced. Abstract

This study aims is to determine the antibacterial activity, effective concentration and content of secondary metabolite compounds from matoa (Pometia pinnata) stem bark extract against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The extraction was made by maceration method, while the antibacterial activity test using the diffusion agar method. The results of testing the antibacterial activity of matoa bark ethanol extract against Staphylococcus aureus were analyzed using the OneWay ANOVA test with the SPSS 26 application showing significant differences between concentrations of 1.5%, 2%, 2.5%, with positive control and negative control because the significance was < 0.05. The conclusion of this research is that there are significant differences in the concentration variations of matoa bark ethanol extract used on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of nursing care using group activity therapy for patients with hallucinations. This research method uses a descriptive research design in the form of a case study that identifies a nursing care problem for patients with mental disorders, such as auditory hallucinations. The intervention results were based on the diagnosis, including building a relationship of mutual trust and SP2 to SP3. An additional intervention was given, namely the TAK Stimulation of Perception (Self Care Deficit) activity, which was carried out for two sessions. In conclusion, the difference in the ability to control hallucinations before giving group activity therapy compared to after giving group activity therapy is in the form of a continuous accumulation of increasing previous knowledge. Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that influence compliance with the use of non-sterile gloves among health workers. The method used is a literature review. There are ten articles obtained from online databases on Pubmed, Science Direct, and other sources. Articles were selected using PRISMA and article appraisal. The results of this study show that health workers use gloves not in accordance with guidelines such as not carrying out hand hygiene before and after using gloves, using gloves more often than necessary, and failing to remove or change gloves at the right time. Factors that encourage health workers to wear non-sterile gloves are personal protection, patient protection, motivation to create a professional image and follow in the footsteps of seniors. Meanwhile, misuse and non-compliance with the use of gloves is influenced by a lack of knowledge and situational understanding of indications for use, age, gender, discomfort due to the use of PPE, lack of availability and access to PPE, attitude of health workers, and lack of supervision. In conclusion, health workers' compliance in using gloves can be improved with health education about controlling and preventing the spread of disease, training and refreshers in the proper use of PPE, supervision and management support to increase the availability and accessibility of PPE. Abstract

This study aims to create a non-invasive tool for anemia detection in pregnant women based on artificial intelligence. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with small-scale tests. The results showed that a non-invasive anemia detection tool was feasible to use because it got an AUC value of 91% which was good in the diagnostic test of the tool and the sensitivity value of the tool was 94% which means the tool is feasible to use. In addition, it can determine anemia status in pregnant women with a value of (p -value 0.957). Conclusion, the design of a non-invasive anemia detection tool based on artificial intelligence is feasible and provides valid and fast results in measuring Hb levels in determining anemia status in pregnant women. Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the continuity of care model in pregnancy and childbirth care on the outcomes of newborn babies. The research method used is quasi-experimental with the Posttest-Only Control Design method. The research was carried out in the working area of the Weru and Danowudu Bitung Community Health Centers, North Sulawesi, from 16 March to 16 June 2023. The population was 173 respondents and the sampling technique, namely consecutive sampling, obtained 70 pregnant women divided into 2 groups, 35 each for the intervention group and 35 for the intervention group. for the control group. The results of the research show that the probability value in the chi-square test is 0.007 in the intervention and control groups, where this value is smaller than the standard significant value of 0.05, which means there is a significant influence from the results of the Continuity of Care model in pregnancy and delivery care on the outcomes of new babies. born. The conclusion obtained is that the influence of continuity of care in pregnancy and childbirth care can influence the outcomes of newborn babies. So to improve and maintain the quality of services for pregnant women, giving birth, BBL, it is necessary to provide continuous midwifery care. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation on fatigue in T2DM. This research used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group and a purposive sampling technique. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 78 T2DM patients in the Cempaka Putih sub-district health center area, Central Jakarta, participated in this study. The results of this study showed that the average fatigue score in the intervention group decreased significantly (7.46) compared to the control group (1.77). A significant difference was between moderate fatigue in the intervention and control groups (p-value = 0.018). At the end of the study, it was found that DM complications were the most dominant variable influencing fatigue (Exp. B = 9.20). In conclusion, Progressive Muscle Relaxation has been proven to reduce fatigue scores in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, where the DM complication variable is the most dominant variable influencing the fatigue score of Diabetics. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of lavender aromatherapy on hemodialysis patients' sleep quality. The method used is experimental intervention twice a week for four weeks. Before and after the intervention, sleep quality will be measured using the PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) instrument. The results showed that (t = 22.789, p = 0.0001). 7.3% of the variable variation in the model was able to explain changes in the percentage of sleep quality (R2=0.073). Education variables (β=0.240, p=1.888), duration of HD (β=0.227, p=1.583), and the variable that is a predictor of sleep quality is gender (β=-0.006, p=0.421). In conclusion, there is a relationship between giving lavender aromatherapy and the sleep quality of hemodialysis patients compared to patients who did not receive lavender aromatherapy. Keywords: Lavender Aromatherapy, Hemodialysis, Sleep Quality
