JURNAL PSIMAWA: Diskursus Ilmu psikologi dan Pendidikan merupakan jurnal berkala ilmiah yang dipublikasi oleh Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa terbit setahun dua kali, yakni bulan Juni dan Desember. Jurnal Psimawa berisikan tulisan ilmiah berupa hasil penelitian, survei, gagasan konseptual atau hasil pemikiran reflektif yang kritis tentang diskursus ilmu-ilmu psikologi dan pendidikan yang disajikan secara sistematik dengan menggunakan gaya selingkung. Abstract

Sekolah merupakan pengalaman dimana individu bisa meraih Pendidikan dan memperoleh pembelajaran. sekolah harusnya menciptakan kondisi yang nyaman, dan aman bagi siswanya ketika berada di lingkungan sekolah sehingga siswa merasa sejahtera dan puas. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi school well being adalah self efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Self Efficacy dengan School Well Being Pada Siswa Di SMA X. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari peserta didik kelas X, XI, XII di SMA X, yang berjumlah 156, dengan sampel sebanyak 156 peserta didik. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara self efficacy dan scholl well being pada siswa SMA, dengan nilai korelasi product moment sebesar r = 0,768 dan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 (p < 0,01). Ini berarti semakin Semakin tinggi self efficacy pada siswa maka school well being juga akan tinggi, begitu juga sebaliknya bila self efficacy siswa rendah maka school well being juga rendah.

Abstract

The premenopausal phase is a transitional period experienced by women before entering menopause, marked by various physical, psychological, social, and environmental changes that can affect quality of life. This study aims to identify the factors that influence the quality of life of women approaching menopause in Kalirejo Village, Way Ratai Subdistrict, Pesawaran Regency. The research used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological perspective. The subjects consisted of three women aged 40–45 years who experienced irregular menstrual cycles, were married, lived with their families, and came from lower-middle socioeconomic backgrounds. Data collection techniques included semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that all subjects experienced a decline in quality of life in aspects of health and functioning, psychological and spiritual well-being, social and economic conditions, and family relationships. Reported complaints included physical fatigue, sleep disturbances, anxiety, mood changes, financial stress, and lack of emotional support from spouses. Imbalances in family relationships and limited environmental comfort also hindered their ability to carry out daily roles. The subjects continued to maintain emotional balance through religious practices, communication with children, and limited involvement in social activities. This study concludes that the quality of life of women approaching menopause is strongly influenced by physical condition, psychological stability, family support, and social and economic circumstances.

Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan fase penting dalam perkembangan individu yang rawan mengalami fenomena FoMO ( Fear of Missing Out ), yaitu rasa cemas kehilangan pengalaman atau informasi sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul psikoedukasi untuk membantu remaja usia 12–18 tahun memahami dan mengelola FoMO secara efektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RnD) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif berdasarkan model Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diisi oleh 85 siswa SMP Negeri 31 Purworejo dan wawancara singkat dengan 3 siswa. Analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan 25,9% siswa memiliki tingkat FoMO tinggi, sedangkan wawancara mengungkapkan sebagian remaja belum memahami makna FoMO meskipun sering mendengar istilah tersebut. Modul yang dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli materi dengan skor 91%, ahli media sebesar 83%, dan praktisi (guru) dengan skor 92%, yang menunjukkan modul sangat layak digunakan. Modul ini dilengkapi dengan langkah praktis dan media menarik yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan strategi sehat dalam mengelola FoMO. Saran untuk pengembangan selanjutnya adalah pembuatan variasi permainan edukatif yang lebih inovatif dan modul efektivitas evaluasi secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of resilience and transformational leadership style on performance mediated by job satisfaction. This study examined 230 inpatient nurses in Tangerang City as a sample. The sample was selected using a non-probability sampling technique through a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of 18–40 years of age and a minimum work period of 6 months. The instruments used included the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (Koopmans et al., 2013) to measure performance, the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (Connor & Davidson, 2003) to measure resilience, the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (Bass et al., 2003) to measure transformational leadership style, and the Job Descriptive Index (Smith et al., 1969) to measure job satisfaction. Data analysis was performed using path analysis. These findings confirm that improving nurse performance can be achieved through strengthening individual resilience and implementing an effective transformational leadership style, with job satisfaction as a key factor through this relationship. This research is expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of industrial and organizational psychology studies, as well as practical implications for hospital management in designing interventions to improve nurse performance.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the extent to which peer support influences the psychological well-being of adolescent victims of bullying in Islamic boarding schools. Adolescents who experience bullying in Islamic boarding schools continuously will cause a decrease in the level of psychological well-being which results in a person not having good communication with their environment. In this study there were 150 respondents with an age range of 13-15 years who were taken based on certain criteria using purposive sampling techniques. This study used a simple regression analysis technique with the help of JASP 0.19.3.0 software. The results of the study showed a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.539 with a calculated F of 80.251 and a significance level of 0.001 (p <.001) meaning that there is a significant positive relationship between peer support and the psychological well-being of adolescent victims of bullying in Islamic boarding schools where the peer support variable provides an effective contribution of 35.2% to the psychological well-being variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how impulsive buying behavior and peer conformity are related to each other among high school students at State Senior High School 2 Pringsewu. This study used correlational techniques and quantitative methodology. A total of 222 respondents in grades XI and XII were selected using cluster random sampling techniques. The impulsive purchasing scale based on Rook & Fisher's theory (1987) and the conformity scale based on Baron and Byrne's theory (2005) were used as data collection tools. The Spearman correlation test was used to analyze the data after the normality and linearity tests indicated that the data were not normally distributed or linear. According to the test results, there is a substantial and positive correlation between impulsive purchasing behavior and peer conformity, with a correlation coefficient of 0.294 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This implies that students' impulsive purchasing behavior increases with peer conformity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and marital adjustment among wives who married at an early age in Grobogan Regency. The data analysis method employed in this research is the Pearson correlation test, as the study involves one independent variable and one dependent variable. The correlation was calculated using SPSS version 25. Early marriage is often accompanied by various challenges, both emotionally and in the dynamics of the marital relationship, which can affect the quality of marital adjustment. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving wives who were married under the age of 20 as respondents. The instruments used in the study include an emotional maturity scale and a marital adjustment scale. The results of the data analysis show a significant relationship between emotional maturity and marital adjustment. The higher the level of emotional maturity, the better the adjustment within the household. These findings underscore the importance of emotional readiness in facing marriage, particularly for women who marry at a young age.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between self-regulated learning (SRL) and academic resilience among university students who are simultaneously studying and working, as well as to analyze this relationship separately for male and female students. The research employed a quantitative correlational design. The sample consisted of 200 actively enrolled working students, selected using a snowball sampling technique. Instruments used were the Self-Regulated Learning Scale (SRLS) and the Academic Resilience Scale (ARS-30). Analysis using Spearman’s rho correlation test revealed a positive and significant relationship between SRL and academic resilience. Further analysis showed that this relationship was stronger among female students compared to their male counterparts. These findings highlight the importance of self-regulatory abilities in supporting academic resilience among working students and suggest the need for gender-sensitive approaches in developing academic support programs.

Abstract

Psychological capital is the psychological capital possessed by every person, and it is the development of positive psychological conditions in every person. This psychological capital consists of hope, optimism, resilience, and efficacy, abbreviated as HORE. This study examines the experiences of single parents, namely mothers, in the education of children under the age of 18 or school-age children without the accompaniment of a husband. Single parents (mothers) are women who were once married but have been widowed or divorced from their husbands. The purpose of this study is to understand the role of psychological capital possessed by single parents (mothers) in educating their children without the material or moral support of their husbands. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with several single mothers (mothers) by the researcher. The research findings indicate that these four psychological capital factors play a significant role in educating or caring for children amid economic limitations and the absence of moral support from a partner.

Abstract

Personal Branding is a strategy for building a personal image or brand in the eyes of others. Personal branding has become an important factor in helping leaders manage their organizations, especially as it relates to the engagement of organizational members. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the leader's personal branding and the engagement of members within the Student Executive Board (BEM) at UTS. This research uses a quantitative correlational method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with the selection of participants based on specific criteria. The sample consists of 43 members of the UTS Student Executive Board. Data were collected using research instruments in the form of a Personal Branding Scale and an Engagement Scale. The results of the study show a positive correlation between personal branding and engagement, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.440 and a significance value of p = 0.003 (p < 0.05). The positive relationship indicates a unidirectional association, meaning that the better the leader's personal branding, the higher the level of member engagement. Conversely, poor personal branding by the leader is associated with lower member engagement Keyword : Personal Branding, Engagement, Organization
