Abstract

Dodol Wizza is an MSME (micro, small and medium enterprise) which is engaged in making original dodol pulut (sticky rice). This MSME has several problems, including limited production frequency, products that do not vary and packaging that is less effective. For this problem, the service team provided a solution as an effort to develop Dodol Pulut Wizza MSMEs. The solutions offered to partners include a program to increase production frequency through the procurement of small capacity dodol making pans, as well as product and packaging innovation. From the two programs offered as a solution to partner problems, partners are now producing dodol at least once a month, whereas previously it was only once or twice a year. Mitra also has two variants of dodol, namely original dodol and sesame dodol as well as two packaging variations, namely 500 g packaging priced at 35 thousand rupiah and ready-to-eat packaging priced at 15 thousand rupiah.

Abstract

The development of technology and education today has grown very rapidly that education needs to instill students' ability to solve problems, one of which is project-based learning (PjBL). However, there are still some difficulties in implementing project-based learning including teachers’ lack of skills and understanding to implement this model. Therefore, this community service program aims to provide knowledge of the principle of project based learning as well as train teachers to design lesson plans which resonates project based learning. The training activities were carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Cikampek on August 14, 2023. The participants of this training were 95 vocational English teachers in Karawang, West Java. In the implementation of training activities, there are several stages that are passed, namely the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The implementation of the training activities began with a presentation of material regarding an overview of the implementation of PjBL in the preparation of vocational English teaching modules followed by a demonstration of examples of English projects in various classroom contexts and the practice of preparing teaching modules. The activity went well with two points of achievement, namely understanding or knowledge and products in the form of an effective and efficient teaching module framework. Based on the results of the training that has been carried out, the emphasis in the practice of preparing project-based teaching modules is still not optimal as there are several groups that have not completed the preparation of teaching modules due to limited time constraints.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program is Bumdes Bumi Pacellekang Sejahtera (BPS) which is located in Pacellekang Village, Patallasang District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. Bumdes BPS has carried out freshwater lobster cultivation as part of the integrated tourism village program activities. The problem with cultivating freshwater lobsters is that there is a 61% reduction in production due to the high cost of artificial feed. The aim of this service is to increase the knowledge and skills of community groups cultivating freshwater lobsters through education, guidance and training in making artificial feed or pellets. Education and training activities were carried out on Thursday 14 September 2023 at the Assembly Hall, Pacellekang Village. The participants were 15 freshwater lobster cultivators, Bumdes administrators and students who carried out field work practices as MBKM participants. The method used in this activity is a combination of theoretical understanding and the Andragogic learning technique approach method by providing education, guidance and training for the application of appropriate technology for making artificial feed. The material presentation was delivered by the resource person, starting from preparing freshwater lobster feed rations and introducing feed raw materials. Next, guidance and training on making artificial feed is carried out, starting from mixing the feed ingredients and the process of making/molding pellets. The raw materials for feed formulation consist of flour: fish, maggot, bamboo shoots, soybeans, taiopan, fine bran, vitamin mix and CMC with a total protein of 39%. Artificial feed produce used a machine with a production capacity of 100-150 kg/hour. Groups of freshwater lobster farmers can now mix, mix and print artificial feed independently. The Community Partnership Program have independently produced artificial feed for freshwater lobsters.

Abstract

The increase in the number of tourist destinations on Bangka Island must be supported by sufficient tourism accommodations, one of which is distinctive products or souvenirs. The process of tourism development through souvenir production in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province needs to harness the potential of local community groups, one of which is through a program of women's economic empowerment based on creativity. One of the handicrafts worthy of being used as a souvenir is macramé craftsmanship. This program was conducted within the framework of community service in Kace Timur Village, Bangka Regency. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this article aims to describe the process, results, and impact of women's empowerment through macramé craft training. The activities were divided into several stages, including preparation, socialization, training, and post-training evaluation. The output of the training includes keychains and walldecor made from macramé. The participants' enthusiasm was quite high in both the socialization and training stages, with almost all participants successfully producing macramé crafts. There were 33 keychains and 26 walldecors produced by participants from Kace Timur Village, Bangka Regency. The participants gained information and skills that can serve as the basis for the macramé craft production process, including knowledge, information on materials and equipment, pricing and cost calculations, as well as product packaging. In the future, it is hoped that through macramé craftsmanship, women, especially in Kace Timur Village, can improve their family's economy while also making a positive contribution to the development of tourism in Bangka Belitung.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project or commonly known as P5 is one of the strategies to realize national education goals. Strengthening character education through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project is very important because students live in the digital age and there is increasingly a decline in students' character. In its implementation, the existing conditions show that there are still many teachers who do not properly understand P5 activities and how to create P5 modules, including teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Langsa. The aim of this service activity is to increase teachers' knowledge, understanding, skills and creativity in creating P5 modules to support student character development. The form of service activities is education and coaching clinics which consist of preparation stages, implementation stages and evaluation stages. Pretest and posttest on 17 participants were carried out to determine the increase in participants' knowledge in making the P5 module to support student character development. Participant satisfaction with service activities was measured using a questionnaire consisting of 11 indicators. In the preparation stage, the service team has prepared all the equipment and educational materials or coaching clinic materials and coordinated with partners regarding the time and place of implementation. The results achieved from the implementation phase were the production of three P5 module products made by participants who were divided into three groups. The results of the evaluation stage by administering the pretest and posttest showed that there was an increase in participants' knowledge in making the P5 module in the high category with an n-gain value of 0.79. The results of the participant satisfaction questionnaire showed that 85.29% of participants were very satisfied while another 14.71% were satisfied with the service activities that had been carried out.
