Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how to develop children's songs for learning mathematics in grade III with the theme of multiplication and division in elementary school. This research uses a research and development approach. The types of data in this study are qualitative data and quantitative data. The instrument in this study consisted of a validation sheet and a response questionnaire from students to the use of math songs. The data analysis technique is the data from this research in the form of the expert team's response to the quality of the product developed in terms of the material and instrument aspects used as well as student learning test data in the learning process using math songs. Data in the form of expert response scores were collected through validation sheets, analyzed descriptively with categorization techniques and concluded as input for revising the developed product. While the data in the form of student learning outcomes tests were analyzed using an existing formula. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the development of children's songs for learning mathematics has succeeded in producing a product with the title of multiplication and division

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form and function of Amaq Abir theater performance at the Marong Village Cultural Literature Studio, Praya Timur District, Lombok Tengah. The research was conducted in Nyampe Hamlet, Marong Village, Praya Timur District. The approach used in this study was qualitative descriptive. The object in this study is the Amaq Abir theatre which includes the form and function of the show. From the results of the study found about: 1) the form of the show, which includes elements in theatrical performances namely: theme, plot, characterization, language, messages, and settings. Supporting elements of the show related to the artistic system, namely: stage management, decoration, sound system, lighting, makeup, and fashion. 2) the theater function of Amaq Abir consists of a) function as entertainment, b) function as social criticism, and 3) function as an economic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna semiotika gerak tari Bat Koko pada musik Cimol di Sanggar Cupu Mas, Dusun Ramban Biak, Desa Lenek, Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu simak catat dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara triangulasi. Penggunakan teori gerak tari dan teori Semiotika Charles Shander Pierce untuk mengulas makna gerak pada Tari Bat Koko. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makna yang ditimukan dalam gerak Tari  Bat Koko secara qualisign terdapat dalam gerak rembaq ures, teleq gendang, tarian gendang dan surut udang. Makna secara sinsign terdapat dalam gerak rembaq ures, teleq gendang, tarian gendang dan surut udang, sedangkan makna secara legisign terdapat dalam gerak tarian gendang dan surut udang.Kata Kunci: Gerak Tari; Makna Semiotika; Tari Bat Koko

Abstract

This paper is a review and preparation of concepts, ideas and theoris of post-colonial drama in Helen Gilbert andTompkins’s sense. I use “Post-Colonial Drama: Theory, Practice, Politics” as a main source of their ideas about post-colonial Drama. I limited this paper in theories of canonical counter-discourse, the language of resistance, and body politics in post-colonial context. The result of this reconstruction to their theories is developed to become theoretical and methodological framework which can be used to analyse post-colonial drama in later researches.

Abstract

Amaq Aber dance at the Traditional Sanggar at Mendana Raya Village has a special uniqueness that makes it worth knowing more about its structure and function. This study focused on the structure of the Amaq Aber Dance seen from the motion of the elements of dance and performance function of Amaq Aber.This type of research used a descriptive type of qualitative method. The subject in this study was AmaqAberdancein the Amaq Aber Village of Mendana Raya, Keruak District, and East Lombok Regency. Data collection technique used in this study was interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used consisted of four stages, namely, data collection (data collection), reduction (data reduction), data display (data presentation), and conclusions drawing / verification (conclusion checker and verification).The results of this study included the Form of AmaqAber Dance which being danced first, called Datu Bajang Dance, consisted of the movement of two dancers as bodyguards and two dancers as rulers. The second part of the dance is called AmaqAkus dance, which was the king's messenger dance with irregular and non-patterned movements. Part three dance is called the Panji Dance, which was a princess, a prince and both bodyguards. Part four dance is called TariPanji as well, but only penguaya dances (princess and prince). The dance function of AmaqAber was as a treatment, repellent and entertainment.

Abstract

The Pooh-pooh Somatic: On Crowd of Biographies that Kalanari Teater Movement has performed at Pusat Kebudayaan Koesnadi Hardjasoematri, Gadjah Mada University on August 22 2017, has become one of the dramatic theater movement of discourse to the post-dramatic. The phenomenon of the death of the text has come to the fore in Indonesian performing arts. This review will discuss the discourse of drama production by reaching out the Lehmann post-dramatic phenomenon. The death of conventional texts that are present in the drama-script, turns into a phenomenon of the emergence of theater productions that put the body forward rather than the language that was previously the main standard to convey meaning to the audience. Through Foucalt's perspective of discourse, this study will discuss the process of dramatic theater movement from dramatic to post-dramatic. The point of this paper is that post-dramatic theater becomes part of the performing arts that remains part of contemporary drama or theater. While not exploiting text or language, symbols and sounds have been communicated to the audience. In this case, the narration through symbols and sounds is agreed as a universal language.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the choice of music among adolescents with a focus on popular music and classical music. The research was conducted on 12 Junior High School (SMP) students at 12-14 years. The study was conducted qualitatively through virtual interviews using Zoom Cloud Meeting. The Sampling technique used purposive sampling based on the specified criteria: (1) active as music listeners; (2) listening to music for 120 minutes per week; (3) willing to take part in the interview stage in 180 minutes. Observations were made on the adolescents' responses to visual, audio, and audiovisual shows presented by researchers through Microsoft Powerpoint during the interview session. This study shows that teenagers tend to choose popular music and classical music due to several factors, namely the experience of listening to music and the environment in which they live. Adolescents who choose classical music are supported by their environment and family background who are familiar with classical music. Classical music is less popular among teenagers because of limited references and difficulties in enjoying or interpreting music without lyrics. Teenagers choose popular music for its uplifting beats and understandable lyrics.  This research presents the heterogeneity of subjects from different cities which can open up opportunities for further studies.

Abstract

 Abstrak. Tari Kuntulan diakui sebagai salah satu kesenian kota Magelang. Para seniman dengan dukungan pemerintah mengembangkan tarian ini sesuai dengan karakter daerah setempat. Pertunjukan tari Kuntulan disajikan dalam kegiatan budaya maupun kegiatan kesenian di sekolah dan ditarikan oleh para pelajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari makna syair iringan tari Kuntulan Kota Magelang. Analisis yang digunakan menggunakan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes dengan teori tatanan signifikansi yang terdiri dari konotasi dan denotasi. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah studi dokumentasi dengan cara mengumpulkan dokumen dalam bentuk audio, video, serta terlibat langsung sebagai peserta workshop seni pertunjukan yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Magelang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis semiotika, iringan tari Kuntulan Kota Magelang mempunyai makna yang dapat dirumuskan menjadi nilai-nilai diantaranya 1) nilai Ketuhanan/spiritual, 2) nilai berbangsa dan bernegara, dan 3) nilai bermasyarakat, dimana ketiga nilai ini merupakan dasar dalam kehidupan

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini untuk menelusuri bagimana perkembangan dan peranan kendang Sunda di Pusat Latihan Tari dalam iringan karawitan tari Bagong Kussudiardja. Seringnya digunakannya kendang Sunda dalam iringan tari karya Bagong Kussuadiardja merupakan hal yang sangat menarik untuk dikaji keberadaannya mengingat di Yogyakarta sudah memiliki kendang Jawa yang secara tradisi masih berlaku pada waktu itu. Metode sejarah digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pencarian data lapangan dan pustaka (heuristik), kritik, interpretasi, dan histografi. Hasil kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan kendang Sunda di Pusat Tari Bagong Kussudiardja dimulai dengan minat Bagong pada seni Tjetje Somantri, yang memberinya inspirasi untuk menciptakan langkah-langkah baru, terutama dalam gerakan, variasi tepak kendang, dan masalah waktu. Para seniman pertama kali berkenalan dengan kendang Sunda dimulai pada tahun 1962 ketika ada pertunjukan seni di tiga wilayah: Yogya, Sunda dan Solo dengan misi untuk membawa pertunjukan di luar Indonesia, seperti RRC, Thailand, Korea, dan Filipina. Pengembangan kendang Sunda terdiri dari dua elemen yaitu dalam instrumen dan pola-pola musik. Kendang Sunda sebagai instrumen di PLT berkembang menjadi dua jenis yaitu kendang Sunda asli dan kendang Sunda dengan pengaruh Jawa. Adapun pengembangan pola-pola kendang Sunda meliputi tahap penghargaan, imitasi, pembelajaran, pencarian identitas, dan tahap kreativitas. Kendang Sunda memiliki pengaruh besar pada iringan musik (karawitan) pada masing-masing karya tari Bagong Kussudiardja, meliputi: Tari Wira Pertiwi, Tari Mulat Wani, Tari Nyai Ronggeng, Tari Lenggotbawa, Tari Satria Tangguh, Tari Tenun, dll. Meskipun banyak iringan karawitan dipengaruhi oleh kendang Sunda, namun masih digunakan dalam kapasitasnya sendiri, di mana kendang Sunda digunakan untuk menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan karya yang dibuat. Kendang Sunda berfungsi sebagai instrumen yang dapat dimainkan secara bebas, tidak digunakan sebagai instrumen etnis tertentu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil pengembangan dari media pembelajaran musik tradisional berbasis audio visual, mengetahui kelayakan aplikasi sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa ekstrakulikuler SMPN 2 Selong berbasis audio visual, dan mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis audio visual menggunakan aplikasi Macromedia Flash 8 sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan. Tahapan dalam proses penelitian ini adalah tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Pengujian yang dilakukan berupa validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli media dan materi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 2 Selong dengan melibatkan 10 siswa kelas IX. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah angket, data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan tekhik analisis deskriptif. Proses pengembangan media pembelajaran melalui empat tahap pengembangan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan pengujian media pembelajaran. Pada tahap analisis masalah ditemukan bahwa nilai siswa ekstrakulikuer musik SMPN 2 Selong pada pembelajaran musik mencapai KKM. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa penilaian efektifitas ahli media terdapat pada rata-rata 92.14% pada kategori sangat layak. Penilaian efektifitas ahli materi pada rata-rata 79.41% kategori layak. Tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan media audio visual pada aplikasi macromedia flash 8 cukup baik sesuai dengan hasil uji keseluruhan aspek mendapatkan rata-rata skor penilaian pada 88.8% yaitu pada kriteria sangat menarik.
