Abstract

The use of e-commerce has become a rampant phenomenon among college students, with rapid growth in recent years. One e-commerce that is widely used by students is Shopee. Shopee flash sales have become a popular marketing strategy on e-commerce platforms, with the aim of increasing sales and attracting consumer interest. This research aims to analyze the influence of the Shopee Flashsale phenomenon on students' financial spending patterns in online shopping and the Flashsale factors that influence consumer behavior on the Shopee platform. The research method used was an online survey and observation of flash sale activities at Shopee involving a sample of students at the economics and business faculty. The analysis results show that flash sales on Shopee have a significant impact on increasing student financial expenditure. Factors such as discount twin date promos, and free shipping vouchers. Additionally, there are certain patterns in consumer behavior during flash sales, including an increase in the number of visits to the platform, an increase in impulse purchases, and an increase in social interaction through in-app communication features. The convenience of online shopping, competitive prices, wide product variations, and attractive promotions collectively influence students' decisions in making online purchases. Additionally, aspects such as trust in e-commerce platforms, product quality, and user experience also play an important role in shaping college students' online shopping preferences.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of tax knowledge, tax awareness, and tax sanctions on the compliance of Individual Taxpayers. The research uses a quantitative method with accidental sampling technique, involving 81 respondents who are Individual Taxpayers. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 22 with a significance level of 5% or 0.05. The results show that tax knowledge does not have a positive effect on taxpayer compliance. This is due to the low level of tax knowledge among taxpayers, which reduces their motivation to fulfill tax obligations. On the other hand, tax awareness and tax sanctions have a positive effect on compliance. High awareness of the importance of taxes and the effective enforcement of sanctions are driving factors for taxpayers to be more compliant in fulfilling their obligations. This study highlights the importance of improving tax literacy and enforcing sanctions to enhance tax compliance rates.

Abstract

Research on maggot farming business development strategies is still relatively limited. This research is important because it provides recommendations for business strategies that can maximize the development of the company's business. The Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larval cultivation business at the Siliwangi Unit Waste Bank has the potential to grow bigger. Business strategy provides sustainable planning to manage resources comprehensively and identify conditions for achieving future business success and gaining maximum profit. This research was conducted at the Siliwangi Unit Waste Bank, Bogor City, which was selected purposively because the BSF larval cultivation activities there have the potential to be developed further. This research uses quantitative and qualitative data sourced from primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through surveys and direct observations by researchers, while secondary data were obtained from institutional reports, journals, books, news articles, and other library sources. Internal environment (IFE) and external environment (EFE) analysis were conducted to identify factors that could influence business success. The results of this analysis were used in the Internal-External Matrix (IE) which produced three main strategies: Growth, Stability, and Reduction Strategies. These strategies are the basis for developing the maggot cultivation business at the Siliwangi Unit Waste Bank.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of financial performance and good corporate governance on company value. Financial performance is assessed using return on assets (ROA), while good corporate governance is measured through the presence of independent commissioners. Company value is measured by Price Book Value (PBV). The data used in this study were collected from eight mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) over a four-year period (2020-2023). Data analysis was carried out using the panel data regression method. The results of the study indicate that financial performance and board percentage do not have a significant effect on company value. This suggests that these two factors may not be the main indicators that investors need to consider in evaluating company value. This finding is relevant for investors or potential investors, providing an understanding that other aspects, such as business strategy, innovation, and management quality, may play a greater role in investment decision making. This study emphasizes the importance of considering additional factors that are more decisive in analyzing company value to help investors make more informed investment decisions.

Abstract

As an implementation of Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2023 concerning Measured Fishing in Indonesian waters, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries is implementing a priority program agenda by implementing the measured fishing method (Penangkapan Ikan Terukur/PIT) in a number of waters in Indonesia in zone classification. Measured Fishing is a controlled and proportional fishing practice, carried out in special zones with certain quotas to maintain the sustainability of fish resources and their ecosystems. The implementation of this PIT method has been carried out in the province of Maluku, Kei Islands which are included in zone 3. This policy is a response to the serious challenges faced in marine fisheries management, including overfishing and ecosystem degradation. With clear regulations, it is hoped that it can reduce pressure on fish populations and support sustainable economic growth for coastal communities. The implementation of this policy requires support and collaboration between the government, fisheries business actors, academics, and the community to ensure its success. Evaluation and scientific research will be key in measuring the impact and effectiveness of this policy, as well as in identifying areas of improvement needed to improve the sustainability of the fisheries sector in Indonesia for a better future.
