Abstract

Introduction Poverty has a big impact on the sustainability of education, as well as education has big benefits in ending poverty. Good academic resilience is one of the factors that can enable teenagers from poor families to escape poverty. One of the factors that influences academic resilience is social support from peers. Objective To see the relationship between academic resilience and peer social support among adolescents from poor families in Rambutan Masam Village, Muara Tembesi District, Batanghari Regency Methods This research used a correlational quantitative method involving 191 respondents. The sampling technique in this study used a random sampling technique with measurement instruments for the academic resilience scale and peer social support which were analyzed using Pearson's Product Moment. Results The results of this study found a positive correlation between academic resilience and social support from peers in adolescents from poor families in Rambutan Masam Village with an r of 0.520 with a p value <0.001. Conclusions : There is a positive relationship between academic resilience and peer social support among adolescents from poor families in Rambutan Masam Village, Muara Tembesi District, Batanghari Regency. Keywords: Academic resilience, peer social support, adolescents, poverty ABSTRAK Pendahuluan Kemiskinan membawa dampak besar terhadap keberlangsungan pendidikan, begitupun pendidikan memiliki manfaat besar dalam menuntaskan kemiskinan. Resiliensi akademik yang baik merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat membuat remaja dari keluarga miskin dapat keluar dari kemiskinan. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi resiliensi akademik adalah dukungan sosial teman sebaya. Tujuan Untuk melihat hubungan resiliensi akademik dengan dukungan sosial teman sebaya pada remaja dari keluarga keluarga miskin di Desa Rambutan Masam Kecamatan Muara Tembesi Kabupaten Batanghari. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis korelasional yang melibatkan 191 orang responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan instrumen pengukuran skala resiliensi akademik dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya yang dianalisis Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan hubungan korelasi positif antara resiliensi akademik dengan dukungan sosial teman sebaya pada remaja dari keluarga miskin di Desa Rambutan Masam dengan r sebesar 0,520 dengan nilai p < 0.001. Kesimpulan Terdapat hubungan positif antara resiliensi akademik dengan dukungan sosial teman sebaya pada remaja dari keluarga miskin di Desa Rambutan Masam Kecamatan Muara Tembesi Kabupaten Batang Hari. Abstract

Introduction Attendance is one of the elements in assessing performance. Employees who do not come to the workplace according to the specified schedule have an impact on work productivity. Additionally, there are other factors that influence employee performance, such as emotional intelligence and burnout. Research Objectives To determine the effect of emotional intelligence and burnout on employee performance at the Jambi City Personnel and Human Resources Agency. Method The research employed a quantitative approach with a regression method. The research respondents were employees of BKPSDMD Kota Jambi, totaling 37 individuals, selected using a total sampling technique. Results It was found that there was a significant effect of emotional intelligence on performance with sig = 0.000, it was found that there was no significant effect of burnout on performance with sig = 0.170, there was a significant effect of emotional intelligence and burnout on the performance of BKPSDMD Jambi City employees with sig 0.000. Conclusion There is a significant influence of emotional intelligence on performance, there is no effect of burnout on performance, there is an influence of emotional intelligence and burnout on employee performance at BKPSDMD Jambi City. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Burnout, Performance, Employee ABSTRAK Pendahuluan Absensi merupakan salah satu unsur penilaian kinerja. Pegawai yang tidak datang ke tempat kerja sesuai jadwal yang ditentukan dapat berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja, selain itu terdapat faktor lain yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, seperti kecerdasan emosional dan burnout. Tujuan Penelitian Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan burnout terhadap kinerja pegawai di Badan Kepegawaian dan Sumber Daya Manusia Kota Jambi. Metode Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode regresi. Responden penelitian adalah pegawai BKPSDMD Kota Jambi, sejumlah 37 individu, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Hasil Ditemukan adanya pengaruh signifikan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja dengan sig=0.000, ditemukan tidak adanya pengaruh signifikan burnout terhadap kinerja dengan sig=0.170, ditemukan adanya pengaruh signifikan kecerdasan emosional dan burnout terhadap kinerja pegawai BKPSDMD Kota Jambi dengan sig 0,000. Kesimpulan Terdapat pengaruh signifikan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja, tidak terdapat pengaruh burnout terhadap kinerja, terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan burnout terhadap kinerja pegawai di BKPSDMD Kota Jambi. Abstract

Introduction Problem-based learning as an effort to improve students' critical thinking skills in the Psychology of Children with Special Needs course at the Jambi University Psychology Study Programme. The findings of focus group discussions (FGDs) with alumni who work in public and special schools, experience obstacles when dealing with children with special needs, especially in observing and analysing the behaviour of developmental and learning problems in children with special needs at school. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the implementation of problem-based learning can improve students' critical thinking skills. Method This research method uses class action with the Lewin model, the steps are: 1) Planning, 2) Action, 3) Observation, and 4) Reflection. The respondents of this study were active students of Psychology Jambi University in the Psychology of Children with Special Needs course in the academic year of the odd semester 2023/2024. The implementation lasted for one semester from August to November 2023. Results Students of Psychology in Jambi University, who contract the Psychology of Children with Special Needs course in the 2023/2024 academic year can show active behaviour and be able to provide alternative solutions to developmental and learning problems in children with special needs based on scientific studies with problem-based learning. Conclusion Problem-based learning in the psychology of children with special needs course is considered effective in improving the critical thinking skills of students of the Psychology Study Programme, Jambi University. Abstract

Introduction In the era of globalization, business competition is increasing so that one of the strategies applied by companies to win business competition is to implement a 3- shift work system. The implementation of a 3-shift work system has impacts and risks for employees, one of which is that employees are at high risk of experiencing sleep quality disorders. Disturbed sleep quality can cause fatigue and decreased concentration, resulting in a decrease in the performance displayed by employees when working. Method This study aims to determine the relationship between sleep quality and employee performance at PT X which implements a 3 shift work system. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational study design. The data analysis technique uses the Spearman Rho correlation technique. The sampling process uses purposive sampling technique. The measuring instrument used in the study is a modified performance scale from scale Quraisyi based on the theory and aspects of Mathis and Jackson (2002), and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire from Buysee (1988) which has been adapted into Indonesian by Alim to measure sleep quality. Result The results showed that there was a significant relationship between sleep quality and employee performance at PT X which implemented a 3-shift work system with a p-value = 0.013 (p < 0.05). The correlation coefficient value of -0.243 means that the two variables have a significant and negative correlation so that the better the quality of employee sleep, the lower employee performance, and vice versa. Keywords : Shift work system, Sleep quality, Employee performance ABSTRAK Pendahuluan Pada era globalisasi, persaingan bisnis semakin meningkat sehingga salah satu strategi yang diterapkan perusahaan untuk memenangkan persaingan bisnis adalah dengan menerapkan sistem kerja 3 shift. Penerapan sistem kerja 3 shift memiliki dampak dan resiko bagi karyawan, salah satunya mengalami ganggun kualitas tidur. Kualitas tidur yang terganggu dapat menyebabkan kelelahan dan penurunan konsentrasi, sehingga berdampak pada penurunan performa yang ditampilkan karyawan ketika bekerja. Metode Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas tidur dengan kinerja karyawan pada PT. X yang menerapkan sistem kerja 3 shift. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain studi korelasional. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi Spearman Rho. Proses pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu skala kinerja yang dimodifikasi dari skala Quraisyi berdasarkan teori dan aspek dari Mathis dan Jackson, serta kuesioner Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) dari Buysee yang sudah diadaptasi ke dalam bahasa Indonesia oleh Alim untuk mengukur kualitas tidur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara kualitas tidur dengan kinerja karyawan pada PT. X yang menerapkan sistem kerja 3 shift dengan nilai p = 0.013 (p < 0.05). Nilai koefisien korelasi -0.243 diartikan bahwa antara kedua variabel memiliki korelasi yang bermakna dan bernilai negatif sehingga semakin baik kualitas tidur karyawan maka kinerja karyawan semakin turun, dan begitu sebaliknya. Kata kunci: Sistem kerja shift, kualitas tidur, dan kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction Human resources (HR) are productive individuals who work as the driving force of an organization. In the world of work, employees are required to work optimally and involve themselves in work or Work Engagement. Purpose This study aims to see the effect of hardiness on work engagement in outsourcing employees of PT Telkom Indonesia Witel Jambi. Method This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational approach, the sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique with data collection techniques surveys. The population in this study were outsourced employees of PT Telkom Indonesia Witel Jambi. Result Descriptive data shows that most outsourced employees are male and in terms of age, employees in the age of 20-30 are the most respondents. The analysis shows the effect of Hardiness on Work Engagement has a positive influence (r square = 0.246, Sig = 0.000). Conclusions A positive influence indicates that outsourcing employees of PT. Telkom Indonesia Witel Jambi feel they have resilience in dealing with work pressure and workload. Sufficient resilience has an influence in involving themselves in doing work. Dalam dunia kerja, karyawan dituntut untuk bekerja dengan maksimal dan melibatkan dirinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Pengaruh hardiness terhadap work engagement pada karyawan outsourcing PT. Telkom Indonesia Witel Jambi. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional, teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan outsourcing PT. Telkom Indonesia Witel Jambi. Hasil Data deskriptif menunjukkan sebagian besar karyawan outsourcing berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan dari segi usia, karyawan di usia 20-30 menjadi responden terbanyak. Analisis menunjukkan pengaruh hardiness terhadap work engagement memiliki pengaruh positif (R 2 = 0,246, Sig =0,000). Kesimpulan Pengaruh yang positif dan siginifikan menunjukkan bahwa karyawan outsourcing PT. Telkom Indonesia Witel Jambi merasa memiliki ketahanan dalam menghadapi tekanan kerja dan beban kerja. Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction Homeless child experience conditions that make it difficult for a child to fulfill their rights and needs, the government provides social welfare services for homeless child so that they are guided by foster parents in carrying out temporary alternative care. Therefore, it is important to deepen the social relations that occur between foster parents and homeless child. Method This research is qualitative phenomenology, using data collection techniques of unstructured interviews, observation, and document study with Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) data analysis. There were 4 research participants, namely: two foster parents and two homeless child. Result The research results show the description of social relations, namely: helping each other, closeness, communication, togetherness, guidance and instruction, feedback, receiving benefit, conflict resolution, affection feeling, and collegial relationships which are classified into the types of social relations communal sharing, authority ranking and equality matching. The factors that influence social relations are work systems, first impressions, individual’s characteristics, negative behavior, the feelings of sympathy and empathy. Keywords: Social relation, social home, caregiver parent ABSTRAK Pendahuluan Anak telantar mengalami kondisi yang sulit bagi seorang anak untuk memenuhi hak dan kebutuhannya, pemerintah menyelenggarakan layanan kesejahteraan sosial untuk anak telantar agar dibimbing oleh orang tua asuh dalam melakukan pengasuhan alternatif sementara. Maka dari itu, penting untuk melakukan pendalaman tentang relasi sosial yang terjadi antara orang tua asuh dengan anak telantar. Metode Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif fenomenologi, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara tidak terstruktur, observasi, dan studi dokumen dengan analisis data Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Partisipan penelitian sejumlah 4 orang, yaitu: 2 orang tua asuh dan 2 anak telantar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran relasi sosial, yakni: tolong menolong, kedekatan, komunikasi, kebersamaan, bimbingan dan arahan, umpan balik, menerima manfaat, penyelesaian konflik, rasa afeksi, dan hubungan kolegal yang terklasifikasi pada jenis relasi sosial communal sharing, authority ranking dan equality matching. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi relasi sosial tersebut adalah sistem kerja, impresi pertama, karakteristik individu, perilaku negatif, rasa simpati dan empati. Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction Aggressive behavior is a tendency to behave with the intention to hurt others, either physically or psychologically, which shows negative feelings so that they can achieve the desired goals. Purpose This study aims to determine the effect of frustration (X1) and peers (X2) on aggressive behavior (Y). Method This research method uses quantitative research with a correlational approach. The population in this study were all classes of SMP Negeri X in Surabaya, with a research sample consisting of 3 classes with a total of 83 students. The data collection technique used a Likert scale with three scales consisting of a frustration scale, a peer scale, and an aggressive behavior scale. The analysis technique used the Spearman rho test using SPSS version 25.0. for windows. Results The results of this study indicate that there is an influence on the frustration variable on aggressive behavior, with a significance of 0.005 (significance <0.05). There is no influence on the peer variable on aggressive behavior, with a significance of 0.589 (significance> 0.05). Conclusion There is an influence on the frustration variable on aggressive behavior, and there is no influence on the peer variable on aggressive behavior. Keywords: frustration, peer influence, aggressive behavior ABSTRAKPendahuluan Perilaku agresif adalah kecenderungan perilaku dengan niat untuk menyakiti orang lain, baik secara fisik maupun psikologis yang memperlihatkan perasaan negatif sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Tujuan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh frustrasi (X1) dan teman sebaya (X2) dengan perilaku agresif (Y). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas dari SMP Negeri X di Surabaya, dengan sampel penelitian terdiri dari 3 kelas dengan jumlah 83 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Likert dengan tiga skala yang terdiri dari skala frustrasi, skala teman sebaya, dan skala perilaku agresif. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji spearman rho dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25.0. for windows. Hasil Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada variabel frustrasi terhadap perilaku agresif, dengan signifikansi 0.005 (signifikansi<0,05). Tidak terdapat pengaruh pada variabel teman sebaya terhadap perilaku agresif, dengan signifikansi 0.589 (signifikansi>0,05). Kesimpulan Terdapat pengaruh pada variabel frustrasi terhadap perilaku agresif, dan tidak terdapat pengaruh pada variabel teman sebaya terhadap perilaku agresif. Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction Job satisfaction is a crucial factor in the performance and overall well-being of employees in any organization, including higher education institutions. In the context of universities, job satisfaction not only impacts individual performance but also plays a significant role in shaping the quality of teaching, research, and community service In Jambi University, as in many other universities in Indonesia, PPPK lecturers form an integral part of the teaching and administrative workforce, making it essential to understand their levels of job satisfaction. Method The study's sample comprises 54 PPPK lecturers from seven different faculties at Jambi University. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire based on the Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) theory developed by Spector, as adapted by Nofrianda, Sari, and Widiana (2020). The adapted survey consists of 36 items that measure various dimensions of job satisfaction, such as compensation, work environment, job security, relationships with colleagues, and opportunities for career advancement. Result The results of this study reveal the job satisfaction levels of PPPK lecturers at Jambi University, divided into three categories: low, moderate, and high satisfaction. Based on responses from 54 lecturers, the findings highlight the distribution of satisfaction levels as follows 9 lecturers (16.7%) reported a low level of job satisfaction, The majority of respondents, 39 lecturers (72.2%), expressed a moderate level of job satisfaction and Only 6 lecturers (11.1%) reported a high level of job satisfaction, indicating a strong sense of fulfillment and positive feelings toward their work. Keywords Job satisfaction, PPPK Lecturers, Universitas Jambi ABSTRAK Pendahuluan kepuasan kerja adalah faktor penting yang memengaruhi kinerja dan kesejahteraan keseluruhan karyawan dalam organisasi manapun, termasuk institusi pendidikan tinggi. Kepuasan kerja tidak hanya berdampak pada kinerja individu, tetapi juga berperan penting dalam menentukan kualitas pengajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat. Universitas Jambi, seperti pada banyak universitas lainnya di Indonesia, dosen PPPK menjadi bagian integral dari tenaga pengajar dan administratif, sehingga penting untuk memahami tingkat kepuasan kerja dosen PPPK Universita Jambi. Metode sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 54 dosen PPPK dari tujuh fakultas berbeda di Universitas Jambi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur berdasarkan teori Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) yang dikembangkan oleh Spector, diadaptasi oleh Nofrianda, Sari, dan Widiana (2020). Survei yang diadaptasi ini terdiri dari 36 butir pernyataan yang mengukur berbagai dimensi kepuasan kerja, seperti kompensasi, lingkungan kerja, keamanan kerja, hubungan dengan rekan kerja, dan peluang pengembangan karir. Hasil hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan tingkat kepuasan kerja dosen PPPK di Universitas Jambi, yang dibagi menjadi tiga kategori: kepuasan rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Berdasarkan tanggapan dari 54 dosen, temuan menunjukkan distribusi 9 dosen (16,7%) dengan tingkat kepuasan kerja yang rendah, mayoritas responden pada kategori sedang yaitu 39 dosen (72,2%) dan hanya 6 dosen (11,1%) berada tingkat kepuasan kerja yang tinggi, menunjukkan rasa puas dan positif terhadap pekerjaan Dosen PPPK Universitas Jambi. Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction An There are many factors that cause stunting, including babies whose birth weight is less than 2,500 grams will carry the risk of death, impaired child growth, including being at risk of becoming short if not handled properly. Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that, the biggest influencing factor of stunting events in Stunting Areas Priority 1 (One) Jambi City is Lack of mother's understanding of the first 1000 days of life. Method This research use descriptive qualitative method. This research in tha Olak Kemang Village, Ulu Gedong, and Bagan Pete village with 6 participant such as community leader and civil society. Results This can be seen from the results of research in the Olak Kemang Village, the mother's understanding indicator about the first 1000 days of life has the lowest percentage of 66%, only 71% in Ulu Gedong Village and 65% in Bagan Pete Village. So if on average, the percentage of mothers' understanding of the first 1000 days of life in the Priority 1 (One) Stunting Area of Jambi City is 67%. Keyword : stunting, Olah Kemang Village, impaired child growth ABSTRAK Introduction Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya stunting sangat banyak diantaranya yaitu bayi yang berat lahirnya kurang dari 2.500 gram akan membawa risiko kematian, gangguan pertumbuhan anak, termasuk dapat berisiko menjadi pendek jika tidak ditangani dengan baik. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor terbesar dari kejadian Stunting di Daerah Stunting Prioritas Satu Kota Jambi adalah minimnya pemahaman ibu tentang 1000 hari pertama kehidupan. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriftif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Olak Kemang, Kelurahan Ulu Gedong, dan Kelurahan Bagan Pete dengan meilbatkan 6 partisipan yang terdiri dari tokoh masyarakat dan warga. Hasil Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil penelitian di Kelurahan Olak Kemang, indikator Pemahaman ibu tentang 1000 hari pertama kehidupan mendapat persentase terendah sebesar 66%, di Kelurahan Ulu Gedong hanya sebesar 71% dan di Kelurahan Bagan Pete hanya sebesar 65%. Sehingga jika di rata-ratakan, persentase Pemahaman ibu tentang 1000 hari pertama kehidupan di Daerah Stunting Prioritas 1 (Satu) Kota Jambi adalah sebesar 67%.
