Abstract

PT. X is a subsidiary of a state-owned enterprise (BUMN), the most complete producer of fertilizers and chemicals in Indonesia. In addition to being engaged in services and logistics, PT X also produces and services bagging services for ZA Plus Fertilizer. The purpose of this research is to analyze the causes of bag defects in the ZA Plus fertilizer bagging process and determine the causes through the application of effective quality control using SPC and FMEA methods. The result of the SPC analysis is that there is still bag defect data that is out of control. While the results of the FMEA method analysis found that the most critical cause of defects is the frequent slip of the sewing needle, with an RPN value of 450. To overcome this problem, this study proposes to replace sewing machine equipment that is worn out regularly and on a scheduled basis.

Abstract

The aim of designing a peanut shelling machine is to make it easier for peanut farmers to make the production process more efficient. The design stage of the peanut skin peeling machine design includes analysis of data requirements and obtaining a design that suits the farmer's capacity, design design using Autodesk Inventor Professional Software and design analysis of the peanut skin peeling machine design. The results of the analysis of the peanut shelling machine frame experienced a displacement of 0.00352 – 0.01758 and a safety factor of 15 sf, with stress of -0.886 Mpa to 0.437 Mpa which was experienced at a point below the yield stress of 1.088 Mpa so that the chassis construction was declared safe. to the static load received.

Abstract

This research focuses on designing and evaluating user interface/user experience (UI/UX) of the Informatics Engineering website profile of Papua University using the Heuristic Evaluation method. One crucial aspect of website design is the UI design, which serves as the interaction tool between the user and the website itself, thus determining the user experience. The research method includes problem identification, literature review, UI design, questionnaire testing, evaluation, and result analysis. The questionnaire as a tool for the evaluation obtained data from 21 respondents, including 4 lecturers of Informatics Engineering experiencing in this field. The analysis concludes that there is an average severity level of 2, indicating minor issues in the website UI design. Aspects requiring further improvement include Error Prevention System, Recovery and System, and Help and Documentation. However, these aspects can still be improved to enhance the quality of website design. Suggestions for further development include adding error message notification features, feedback features, and design documentation to enhance user experience when using the website.

Abstract

Dalam beberapa dekade terakhir, penelitian dan pengukuran emisi partikulat (PM) telah dilakukan secara luas dalam emisi atmosfer, termasuk distribusi dan komposisinya dari berbagai sumber antropogenik dan dampaknya terhadap kesehatan manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui massa dan distribusi Particulate Matter (PM) yang dihasilkan oleh mesin diesel jenis Dong Feng R175A dengan bahan bakar dexlite 100%, campuran 30% minyak plastik dan 70%  dexlite (PO30), 50% minyak plastik dan 50% dexlite (PO50) dan 70% minyak  plastik dan 30% dexlite (PO70) dan 100% minyak plastik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Particulate Matter (PM10) pada bahan bakar campuran PO30 merupakan massa berat terendah karena mengandung hidrokarbon dan sulfur terendah. Hasil Image-J pada analisa distribusi diameter PM menunjukkan PO70 mempunyai jumlah PM2,5 dan PM10 terbanyak, sementara jumlah terendah PM2,5 dan PM10 adalah pada penggunaan bahan bakar PO30.

Abstract

Background: Amplang is a snack made primarily from fish and is usually given as souvenirs to tourists, especially in Balikpapan. The process of making amplang involves a fairly long process, that might lead to bacterial growth if not handled correctly. Therefore, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point is one of the methods that can be used to prevent food contamination. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to assess the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point implementation in the production process of amplang by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises of X in Balikpapan. Method: This research is qualitative in nature with a case study approach. The informants in this study were the owners and employees of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises of X who are responsible for the amplang production process from fish meat storage to packaging. Results and Discussion: The formulation of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point stages indicates that the critical point is in the fish meat grinding process. Based on the bacterial testing results at each stage of amplang production in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises of X, it meets the requirements of SNI 7763:2013. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises of X has implemented the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point system effectively. To maintain and improve the existing conditions, it is recommended that the owner chooses suppliers of fresh fish raw materials who also implement food safety and personal hygiene systems. The production facility layout should be organized according to the 5R/5S principles to prevent contamination of raw materials and ensure the safety of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises of X workers.

Abstract

Deteksi Tingkat keaslian beras Ciherang dengan penggunaan Portable Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectrometer jarang dilakukan sebelumnya, Oleh karena itu, analisis diperlukan untuk memverifikasi autentisitas beras Ciherang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi keaslian beras Ciherang dan persentase tingkat keaslian beras Ciherang secara non-destruktif menggunakan Portable NIRS. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan metode Partial Least Squares-Regression (PLS-R) dengan dua perlakuan. Perlakuan pertama melibatkan beras Ciherang murni, dan perlakuan kedua melibatkan beras Ciherang campuran dengan persentase mulai dari 1% hingga 30%, mewakili tingkat keaslian dari 57,2% hingga 99,0%. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan keaslian beras Ciherang melibatkan penerapan teknologi SCIO Portable Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectrometer, dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares, mampu memprediksi keaslian beras Ciherang. Hasil terbaik dicapai dengan menggunakan pre-treatment deresolve, menghasilkan nilai koefisien korelasi kalibrasi sebesar 0,99, koefisien korelasi validasi sebesar 0,99. Nilai SEC dan SEP yang diperoleh adalah 0,00% hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model kalibrasi yang digunakan efektif dalam memprediksi keaslian beras Ciherang.

Abstract

This study focuses on the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) for non-intrusive monitoring of electricity consumption. Using Internet of Things technology, this study attempts to develop and evaluate an affordable and easy-to-navigate energy monitoring system. Literature review, system design, hardware development, software configuration, system integration, and system testing are all included in the methodology. The results demonstrate the successful use of an IoT device to track electrical energy consumption. The system demonstrates promising levels of accuracy in tracking power consumption patterns, despite ongoing testing and calibration challenges. This study provides an affordable and secure IoT-based smart energy monitoring solution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem pengiriman barang berbasis web untuk meningkatkan efisiensi biaya pengiriman bagi pelanggan. Sistem ini menggunakan metodologi Agile dan data real-time untuk menghitung jarak antara pelanggan dan gudang terdekat, dan merekomendasikan gudang terdekat saat pemesanan. Sistem ini dirancang untuk meminimalkan biaya pengiriman. Framework Laravel digunakan untuk membangun aplikasi web, dan MySQL sebagai sistem manajemen basis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem memberikan rekomendasi lokasi gudang dengan tingkat keberhasilan 97,4% dan berpotensi menghemat biaya pengiriman secara signifikan. Sistem ini meningkatkan produktivitas di PT Sena Bhuana Mas dengan memungkinkan pelanggan memilih gudang secara manual dan menyesuaikan dengan stok yang tersedia. Sistem ini menghasilkan solusi pengiriman barang yang lebih efisien dan efektif, dan meningkatkan produktivitas di PT Sena Bhuana Mas.

Abstract

Kegagalan produk ialah suatu permasalah yang selalu ada dalam industri manufaktur. Analisa ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis kecacatan yang sering mucul dan factor penyebab kegagalan produk itu muncul yang mempengaruhi kualitas produk di PT.XYZ. Analisa kali ini untuk memeriksa prosedur kontrol kualitas yang digunakan dalam pembuatan papan serat semen, berusaha menggunakan teknik Seven Tools dan FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect) untuk memastikan penyebab dan dampak kesalahan produksi di PT. XYZ. berasal dari statistik produksi PT. XYZ antara Desember 2022 dan Mei 2023, dengan jumlah output sebanyak 1.173.690 pcs dan jumlah total keseluruhan jumlah kecacatan sebanyak 72.848 pcs selama enam bulan. Temuan analisis yang diketahui mencakup fakta bahwa, dari 16.307 cacat produk, cacat produk retak adalah jenis yang paling umum. Faktor mesin juga dapat menyebabkan cacat produk, terbukti dengan hasil penghindaran, dimana angka prioritas risiko RPN adalah 392.

Abstract

SMP Al-Ijtihad 2 Kuta Baru is a school located in Tangerang. Lack of learning media affects to the learning process. A variety learning media can increase student’s motivation towards learning English is an ongoing problem. So, Development of English Learning Media in Narrative Texts based on RPG Games with Pancasila Character was created to make it easier for students to learn English. The aim of this research is to develop an English educational game that can increase the interest and understanding of students regarding narrative text material containing the character of Pancasila in English subjects. The method used is the Waterfall Method. This research used Waterfall. The results of the development of learning media that is interesting, interactive and user friendly. From the results of calculating the level of feasibility, it can be seen that the satisfaction value of respondents from filling in the questionnaire is 95% of the 10 respondents. It can be concluded that the English learning media in narrative text with Pancasila characters has reached good impact and satisfactory level. In conclusion, the development of narrative text English learning media has good potential to increase students’ in SMP Al-Ijtihad 2 Kutbaru interest and understanding of narrative text material in English subjects.
