Abstract

Early detection and accurate diagnosis of anemia are crucial for public health management, with conventional methods like complete blood count often being costly and unavailable in remote areas. The use of machine learning techniques, specifically the k-nearest neighbor (KNN) algorithm, shows promise in classifying medical conditions including anemia with competitive accuracy compared to traditional methods. The implementation of KNN not only offers accuracy but also time and cost efficiency, providing reliable results quickly for medical professionals in the field. The algorithm's application involves determining the appropriate k-value for optimal accuracy, calculating distances using Euclidean distance, and voting for class prediction based on nearest neighbors. The analysis showcases the model's efficiency in predicting anemia status with an accuracy of 94.72% and promising precision and recall rates.

Abstract

Cyber-attacks have become a serious concern in recent years, as hackers can attack systems, databases, and even steal personal data from a particular organization's database and sell it on the dark web. The individual identity data will be used to carry out various financially profitable activities such as online fraud, selling data containing detailed account information, and asking for ransom from data owners. The failure of an organization to protect data assets from cyber-attacks stems from several internal factors such as the vulnerability of the information security system it has, the less than optimal awareness of users in the organization of the importance of maintaining safe behavior in cyberspace, and routine processes related to information security that are missed. COBIT 2019 can be used as an audit framework to assess the level of maturity of the governance. Network infrastructure services in an organization can be measured in terms of the level of capability in terms of the application of technology assets and their configuration using the DSS05 and APO13 domains. This study aims to provide guidelines in assessing system security infrastructure in IT governance by assessing areas that are still not comply with the framework used, and providing recommendations for improving these inconsistencies so that the level of infrastructure capability will be maximized then.

Abstract

Infrastructure development in Indonesia is currently in a fairly massive development phase. To support this, the government of the Republic of Indonesia improves the quality of national development by continuing to adapt to existing technological developments, one of which is Building Information Modeling (BIM). In this case, the use of BIM in planning and designing a construction object becomes easier because it can be done simultaneously. In addition, the design produced through the BIM method also contains data and information that can be used in other phases of construction. One of the data produced is the quantity of materials that can be used to estimate construction costs. In this study, the use of the BIM method is intended to determine the comparison of the costs generated to the cost of conventional methods of the project. The results of the cost calculation obtained by the BIM method are cumulatively -2,06% lower than the conventional method. There is a varying cost deviation for each work item, with the smallest cost deviation being +0,48% for beam structure work and the largest cost deviation being +126,26% for stair work.

Abstract

PT Ravana Jaya is a general contractor that works on steel fabrication and has several partners from small, medium, and large scale companies.  Observations show that errors often occur during the production process, leading to a number of defective products with a defect percentage of 0.12%. The allowable defect percentage ranges between 0.05% and 0.07%, or approximately 1-2 items per month.  Therefore, research should be conducted to look at the human errors that cause defective products during the production process.  This study utilized the Human Error Assessment and Reduction Technique (HEART) and Systematic Error Reduction and Prediction (SHERPA) methods.  According to this study, the highest predicted human error occurred in the welding task with a HEP value of 10.565, and the lowest human error occurred in the welding task with a HEP value of 10.565. To reduce the number of defective products, it is recommended to make improvements, such as conducting strict and regular evaluation and supervision, continuous training, adding dividers between parts, and changes in design.
