Abstract

Abstract Learning infrastructure and facilities are direct and indirect needs to improve the quality of learning and students' interest in learning. The reason the researcher conducted this research was that the researcher wanted to understand the extent of the impact of facilities and infrastructure on students' interest in learning in the 2023 Economic Education Stambuk; therefore, the researcher chose the research title "The Impact of Academic Facilities and Infrastructure on Student Interest in Learning" in the 2023 Economic Education Stambuk, carried out using quantitative prescriptive strategies. The specimen collection method used in this research is a sampling model, namely distributing a questionnaire via Google Form. This approach was chosen because it provides comprehensive information regarding the relationships between the variables studied. The results of this research are presented in the form of tables, charts, and/or graphs. In this component, the results and discussion will explore data analysis in order to prove the relationship between academic facilities and infrastructure variables and study interest variables, provide logical explanations for the findings obtained, and provide references related to analyses that have been carried out or carried out partially, as well as simple linear regression obtained by several scholars. Facilities and infrastructure have an important influence on interest in learning. The results of the t test prove that the calculated t value with the t table is (4.922 > 2.048), and the significance is 0.000 < 0.05. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination show that the level of influence of academic facilities and infrastructure on interest in learning is 46.4%. This means that interest in learning can be determined by X1, namely facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Many companies, one of which is from the banking sector, collaborate with universities to improve the company's image, attract new customers and maintain the company's existence. The elimination of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) plus physical Student Identity Cards (KTM) at the Indonesian Education University (UPI) is considered to affect the existence of Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) at UPI. This study aims to describe the role of brand image and location on BNI's existence from the perspective of new students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Education (FPEB) UPI. The data collection technique used interviews with 25 interviewees who were FPEB students class of 2023. The data analysis method uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Brand Image has a role in BNI's existence, while Location does not have a significant role in BNI's existence. However, the elimination of KTM plus physical ATMs that previously cooperated with BNI is enough to affect students' knowledge of BNI at UPI. It was found that the lack of information and access to location can affect BNI's existence at UPI. This is unlike when KTM was still in physical form which made students visit the branch office at least once.

This research aims to analyze the impact of gender equality on economic growth in 33 districts/cities of North Sumatra Province during the 2018-2022 period. Three dimensions of gender equality are explored, namely education (represented by Average Years of Schooling), health (represented by Life Expectancy), and employment (represented by Labor Force Participation Rate). Panel data was analyzed using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The findings show that gender equality in the education and health aspects has a positive and significant influence on economic growth, while gender equality in the employment aspect has a positive influence but is not statistically significant. Abstract

Chayote (Sechium edule) is a local food that has good nutritional value for the human body. Chayote has a fairly good fiber content, namely 1.7 grams per 100 grams. Minimal processing in the form of fresh cuts is an option that can be done to increase distribution reach, improve safety and quality, speed up and simplify processing, and reduce waste in the form of waste that can pollute the environment. Apart from that, chayote contains antioxidants which can help prevent cancer by warding off free radicals, such as vitamin C and flavonoids. Many substances found in chayote, such as saponins, flavonoids, proteins, vitamin A, thiamin, and many more, have therapeutic uses. The majority of Indonesian people are not interested in consuming or processing chayote, even though chayote has many medicinal properties. To increase selling prices and gain popularity among Indonesian people, the chayote trade must be innovated. One way to make this happen is to turn it into a Mustofa Chayote. This research uses questionnaires, interviews and observation as data collection methods. If you look at how to answer the questionnaire, it is divided into two types, namely open questionnaires and closed questionnaires. The results of this research are that the value of product design, labels and packaging influences consumer interest. Our products are not only seen from their delicious taste and good food color, but also from their external appearance, namely attractive labels and packaging which really influence consumers' interest in buying the product.. Keywords: Chayote, Product Quality

Abstract

Performance is a very important factor in an organization, because it can be used as a reference or benchmark to measure the level of success of the business organization in a certain period. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of leadership, motivation and work environment on employee performance at the Lamandau Regency Food Security Service. This type of research is associative quantitative. Researchers used saturated sampling. The sample from this research consisted of 31 respondents. The data obtained in this research was obtained directly from filling out the questionnaire. The analytical method used is the multiple linear regression equation. The research results obtained by testing the t hypothesis on the leadership variable were significant at 0.287 > a = 0.05 and t test = 1.085 < t table = 2.052, thus H1 was rejected, meaning that leadership had no significant effect. The motivation variable has a significance of 0.000 < a = 0.05 and t test = 4.664 > t table = 2.052, thus H2 is accepted, meaning that motivation has a significant effect. The work environment variable has a significance of 0.001 > a = 0.05 and t test = 3.820 > t table = 2.052, thus H3 is accepted, meaning the work environment has a significant effect. The results of the F hypothesis test show a significance of 0.000 < a = 0.05 and the calculated F value is 57.421 > F table of 2.048, thus H4 is accepted, meaning that leadership, motivation and the work environment simultaneously influence performance.

Abstract

Environmental degradation and global warming are serious challenges occurring in the world today, and their damaging impacts are closely linked to economic activity. Along with rapid economic growth, human activities, such as industry, transportation, and agriculture, have increased greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and economic growth on environmental degradation and test the existence of the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) in five ASEAN countries namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam in the period 2001 to 2019. In this study, panel regression was used for data analysis with the estimation model is Fixed Effect Cross-Section Weights. The results showed that economic growth has a significant positive effect on environmental degradation. FDI has a positive and significant effect on environmental degradation. Economic growth variable has a positive direction and GDP per capita squared has a negative direction on environmental degradation. This means that the Environmental Kuznets Curve Analysis applied in this study confirms the existence of an "Inverted U-Curve" formed in 5 ASEAN countries.
