Abstract

THE TEACHERS PRODUCTIVITY ENHANCMENT BY IMPROVING SELF EFFICACY AND VISIONER LEADERSHIPThe purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between self efficacy and visionary leadership toward teachers productivity. The study was conducted in Vocational High School at Ciawi Region. The population of the study was 136 teachers and the sample taken was 102 teachers which were selected using proportional random sampling and data collection was got through questionnaires. The data analysing technique was done using correlation regression partial and multiple. The study result pointed out that there was positive correlation between self efficacy and teachers productivity (the correlation coefficient ry1 = 0,596 and the determination coefficient r2y1=0,355), there was positive correlation between visionary leadership and teachers productivity (the correlation coefficient ry2 =0,545 where the determination coefficient r2y2=0,297), and also there was positive correlation of self efficacy and visionary leadership to teachers productivity (the correlation coefficient ry12 = 0,648 and the determination coefficient r2y12= 0,419). Based on the above result study, it could be concluded that the teachers productivity might be improoved through self efficacy and visionary leadership either partially or concurrently.

Abstract

EVALUATION OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING PROGRAMS USING ANDROID-BASED APPLICATIONS IN THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIAThis study is intended to find out of how to develop Evaluation Development Program for Archival Education and Training Based on Android System. This research was conducted on the Nation Archive of Republic Indonesia. The research method used in this research was R D and the instrument of the study was a questionnaire distributed to participants in archival education and training. The results showed that in developing program following the 3-D model. The 3-D model consists of 3 stages: define, design and develop. In the first stage (defining), it was found that the evaluation carried out was still utilizing paper media. It did not support the implementation of e-Government systems. The second step (design) was started from making the design, and continued with validating the product to the  team experts. The third step was development. This last stage was carried out by a small scale of trial which was participated with 47 participants. In the small-scale of trial phase was to detect the shortcomings of the product development and further development products would be fixed and be ready for large-scale trials. The large-scale of trial was attended by 95 participants. The analyzing result of the large scale trial had shown that the development product was valid and ready to be disseminated.

Abstract

EFFECT OF SELF-ESTEEM AND INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION TOWARD TEACHER EFFECTIVENESSTeachers work effectiveness is the one of the elements to be performed in order to reach the school goal. According to the initial study, it is showed that the effectiveness of some private junior high school teachers were not as expected, while actually high work effectiveness among teachers might support excellent output quality implementation. This study aimed to describe, analyze and find out that self-esteem and interpersonal communication bring a positive influence on teacher work effectiveness. The research method was quantitative research and survey research method was path analysis approach. This research was conducted on 5 private junior high schools in the District of Gunung Putri, Bogor Regency. Samples were taken randomly proportionally, totaling 109 of the 150 population. Data collection in this study was using questionnaires as instruments. The results showed that: 1) There was a positive and very significant effect of self-esteem on teacher work effectiveness with a correlation coefficient (β y1) of 0.4769; 2) There was a positive and very significant effect of personal communication on teacher work effectiveness with a correlation coefficient (β y2) of 0.5051; 3) There was a positive and very significant influence on self-esteem and personal communication on work effectiveness teacher with a correlation coefficient (β y12) of 0.5704. Based on the results of the study, the teacher's work effectiveness increased as the influence of self-esteem and interpersonal communication.

Abstract

STRENGTHENING VISIONARY LEADERSHIP AND WORK MOTIVATION INEFFORTS TO INCREASE TEACHER  CREATIVITYThis study aimed to find the relationship between teacher creativity increase and visionary leadership strength, as well as between teacher creativity and and work motivation. This research was conducted in 11 private junior high schools in Megamendung District, Bogor Regency with a sample of 113 honorary teachers. This study used the correlational analysis method to determine the strength of the relationship between the variables studied and SITOREM analysis to analyze the indicator variables. The results of the study resulted in teacher creativity were: Ŷ = 1,122 + 0,148X1 + 0,750X2.  X1 is visionary leadership and X2 is work motivation. The optimal solution produced were: there were 10 indicators that have already been good so that they were maintained or developed, namely; responsibility, gaining recognition, flexible thinking, curiosity, classroom environment, future orientation, innovation, exemplary, communication, work commitment. There were 5 indicators that were still weak so it needed to be improved in the following order of improvement, such as: pride in work, opportunity to advance, achievements achieved, love to learn new things, opportunity to solve problems. Based on those findings, it can be concluded that strengthening visionary leadership and work motivation could increase teacher creativity.

Abstract

IMPROVING TEACHER WORK EFFECTIVENESS THROUGH PEDAGOGIC COMPETENCY STRENGTHENING AND ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE AT PRIVATE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN CIBINONG, KABUPATEN BOGOR This study aimed to determine empirically the enhancement of teacher work effectiveness. The sampling in the study was 146 teachers who were determined by using proportional technique. The method used was the correlation method.  Hypothetical testing was carried out by using parametric statistical analysis in the form of simple and multiple linear regression analysis, where a significance level of α = 0.05. The research came up with three conclusions. Firstly, there was a positive and significant relationship between pedagogical competence and teacher work effectiveness where a random sampling correlation coefficient of ry1= 0.75.  Secondly, there was a positive and significant relationship between organizational climate and teacher work effectiveness where its correlation coefficient of ry2 = 0.56. Thirdly, there was a positive and significant relationship between pedagogic competence and organizational climate together with teacher work effectiveness where its correlation coefficient of ry.12 = 0.79. It could be concluded that teacher work effectiveness might be enhanced by strengthening the pedagogic competence and organizational climate.

Abstract

IMPROVEMENT OF COMMITMENT TO PROFESSION THROUGH STRENGTHENING EMPOWERMENT AND SELF-EFFICATION OF PRIVATE SMP TEACHERSThis study is intended to determine the increase of organizational commitment by studying its correlation with Empowerment and Self-Efficacy of Private Junior High School Teachers located in Tapos District, Depok. The number of research samples were 106 teachers which were taken by using proportional random sampling techniques. The method used was the correlational method. Hypothesis testing was carried out using parametric statistical analysis in the form of simple and multiple linear regression analysis, simple and multiple correlation analysis and partial analysis where the  significance levels α = 0.01 and α = 0.05. This study came up with three conclusions. Firstly, there was a moderate positive and significant relationship between the variables of empowerment and organizational commitment with a correlation coefficient ry1 = 0.63, a coefficient of determination Ry12 = 0.4026. Secondly, there was a high positive and significant relationship between the variable of self-efficacy and organizational commitment with a correlation coefficient ry2 = 0.81, and the coefficient of determination Ry22 = 0.6580. Thirdly, there was a high positive and significant relationship between the empowerment variable (X1) and self-efficacy (X2) together with organizational commitment with a correlation coefficient ry.12 = 0.834 and a coefficient of determination Ry.122 = 0.696. It couldn be concluded that the organizational commitment variable might be increased by strengthening the empowerment and self-efficacy variables.

Abstract

5 PILAR BASED SCHOOL MANAGEMENT: ISLAMIC, GREEN, LEADERSHIP, CHILDREN FRIENDLY, AND INCLUSIVE TO DEVELOP ISLAMIC MORALS OF STUDENTSThis study is intended to obtain the picture of the 5 pillars of the Kreativa Elementary School management: Islamic, Green, Leadership, Children Friendly, and Inclusive in the form of data and information in order to develop Islamic morals of the students. This research uses qualitative methods, with the researcher as an instrument. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation study. Based on the existing data and information, it can be concluded that the management function of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling plays an important role in achieving the school goals. School management strives to achieve the goal of developing Islamic morals for students through the application of 5 pillars: Islamic, Green, Leadership, Children Friendly, and Inclusive as the basis for educational programs at Kreativa Elementary School. To achieve these goals, it requires planning that has a strong concept to achieve goals, organizing that is tailored to the needs of the school, directing resources according to the program that has been planned and organized, and control that includes all components of the educational program.

Abstract

THE RELATIONSHIP OF SITUATIONAL LEADERSHIP STYLE AND SELF EFFICACY TO THE PERFORMANCE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS AT KECAMATAN RANCAKALONG  SUMEDANG DISTRICTThis study was intended to formulate efforts that could be implemented in order to improve teachers performance by  studying its relationship with situational leadership style and self-efficacy. The population of this study were 183 PNS teachers and 126  samples were selected using the Yamane formula with an error tolerance was 5%.. Data were collected using an instrument in the form of  questionnairies and analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that therewere three positive and significant relationships. Firstly, there was a positive and significant relationship between situational leadership style and the performance of PNS teacher, where the correlation coefficient was 0.648. Secondly, there was a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and teacher performance, where the correlation coefficient value was 0.585. Thirdly, there was a positive and significant relationship between situational leadership style and self-efficacy altogether with teacher performance, where the correlation coefficient value was 0.719.

Abstract

IMPROVING ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR (OCB) THROUGH STRENGTHENING EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND TEACHER JOB SATISFACTIONService quality is a management resource that is very important to be considered in order to achieve the goals of national education. However, the preliminary survey results indicated that the quality of teacher services were still needed to be improved. The aim of this study was to find efforts to improve teacher service quality (Y) just like the  research theme which was through a study of the influencing power between the independent variables of Job Satisfaction (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) and Proffessional Commitment (X3) as an intermediary variable (intervening). . This research was conducted at 12 private senior high schools in Cibadak commissariat, Sukabumi regency, where the total research object was 109 permanent teachers. The implemented research approach was the POP-SDM approaching that was modeling and optimization of management resources strengthening. POP-SDM was to combine the qualitative researches inorder to find out the constellation of influencies among the variables, the statistical mathematical models to improve the quality of teacher services and the determination of research hypotheses and quantitative research to prove the research hypothesis generated in the qualitative research. The research method used was a path analysis to determine the influence among the variables studied and Sitorem analysis for indicator analysis. The results of the study resulted in a service quality improvement model where the mathematical model was Ŷ = 0.217X1 + 0.451X2 + 0.40X3 + 0.647 wheather X1   was the teacher job satisfaction, X2 was the teacher work motivation  and X3 was professional commitment. While the optimal solution found out that there were 3 indicators which already satisfied so that they were only needed to be maintained or developed. They were consists of achievement, seriousness in carrying out their duties, and emotional bonding to the profession. Beside that, there were 22 indicators that were still weak so that they were needed to be improved where the improvement order of priority were as follows: responsibility, progression, organizational procedures, working conditions, recognition, status, rewards, benefits, loyalty, opportunities, dedication, working atmosphere, type of work, supervision, coworker support, salary, promotion opportunities, responsiveness, assurance, reliability, empathy and direct evidence.

Abstract

SCHOOL MANAGEMENT IN REALIZING HEALTHY SCHOOLS IN SMP ISLAM CENDEKIA CIANJUR (SICC) BOARDING SCHOOLThis researched aimed to have comprehensive findings based on factual datas and information about school management at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (SICC) Boarding School interms in actualizing healthy school. The qualitative method was used in order to have a comprehensive description as an output about all managerial steps; planning, organizing, actuating, and evaluating the school management at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur (SICC) Boarding School. All data was collected by indept interview, observation and documentation, showed that: 1) Planning for healthy school at the SICC Boarding School was issued at the beginning of its establishment with the initial stage, focusing more on procurement and completeness of school medical room (UKS), 2) Organizing health schools is the authority of the principal where the implementation of this healthy school program is assisted by several personnel, the coordinator of  healthy school , UKS builder, financial staff and the members, 3) Implementing of healthy school management is carried out by healthy school coordinators and other teams in the organizational list. The concept of  healthy school at the SICC Boarding School is to develop superior programs from UKS, it is called UKS TRIAS, PHBS habituation, and the procurement of facilities and infrastructure for UKS, 4) Controlling is carried out by monitoring and evaluating directly by school principal as the chairman of the UKS organizational list. The Controlling is focused on three aspects; human resources focused on healthy school teams, the  healthy school programme, and the procurement tools of UKS. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that school management runs well with referring to the conditions and needs of school andcan be used as a reference model for other boarding school as well.
