Abstract

APPLICATION OF HUMAN INTEREST IN FEATURE NEWS WRITING FOR RADAR BOGOR ONLINE MEDIAThe rapid development of digital technology has compelled mass media to adapt from print to online platforms in order to remain relevant and retain audiences. Radar Bogor, a local media outlet in Bogor City, has responded to this transformation by providing various types of content, including feature news that emphasizes human interest elements. This study aims to explain the process of writing feature news by journalists at Radar Bogor’s online media and to analyze the application of human interest in feature news writing. A qualitative research approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with the editor-in-chief of Radar Bogor and document analysis of ten culinary feature articles published between September 1 and October 31, 2025. The findings indicate that the feature news production process at Radar Bogor is conducted in a structured and systematic manner, encompassing editorial meetings, field reporting, news writing, and editing. The application of human interest is realized by positioning human stories at the center of the narrative, highlighting struggles, uniqueness, family heritage, and personal experiences of culinary business actors. These practices align with Harcup and O’Neill’s news values, particularly human interest, relevance, entertainment, and unexpectedness. Furthermore, high audience engagement with culinary feature articles supports the Uses and Gratification Theory, showing that audiences actively select content to fulfill cognitive needs, affective needs, social integration, and tension release. Thus, human interest plays a crucial role in enhancing the appeal and relevance of Radar Bogor’s feature news as a local online media outlet.

Abstract

PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGEMENT STRATEGY IN UTILIZING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY AT THE OFFICE OF THE MINISTRY OF RELIGION OF LAMONGAN REGENCYThe importance of the role of public relations in building a positive image of the institution through the use of digital technology, especially at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Lamongan Regency. This study aims to examine public relations management strategies in facing challenges and optimizing communication with the public in the digital era at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Lamongan Regency. The method used is qualitative with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the integration of digital technology in public relations activities can increase the efficiency of information dissemination, through the use of digital media such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and the official website. As well as strengthening the relationship between the institution and the public. However, at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Lamongan Regency there are still obstacles in the form of cybersecurity and limited access in remote areas. From this study, it is necessary to strengthen the capacity of public relations human resources in the field of technology and the development of digital security policies to support the optimal achievement of institutional goals in the digital era.

Abstract

ANALYSIS OF EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION INFLUENCED BY TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP MODELS AND INCENTIVE PROVISION (STUDY ON EMPLOYEES OF PT. TELKOM ACCESS GORONTALO)This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of transformational leadership on employee satisfaction, (2) the influence of incentive provision on employee satisfaction; and (3) the simultaneous influence of transformational leadership and incentive provision on employee satisfaction. The study employed a descriptive quantitative method analyzed through multiple linear regression, with data processed using IBM SPSS. The study population consisted of 130 employees, and the sample comprised 39 respondents selected through the distribution of an offline questionnaire. The findings indicate that: (1) transformational leadership has a significant influence on employee satisfaction, as shown by the t-count being greater than the t-table value (6.589 1.684); (2) incentive provision also has a significant influence on employee satisfaction, supported by the t-count exceeding the t-table value (6.589 ≥ 1.684); and (3) simultaneously, transformational leadership and incentive provision significantly influence employee satisfaction, as evidenced by the F-test result (F-count 52.579 3.24) at a 5% significance level. The R-squared value obtained is 0.745, indicating that transformational leadership and incentive provision collectively account for 74.5% of the variance in employee satisfaction, whereas the remaining 25.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study, such as work environment, conflict management, and organizational culture.

Abstract

THE ROLE OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN BUILDING A CULTURE OF INNOVATION IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS The rapid development of global technology has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the field of education. The purpose of this article is to identify HR management practices, explain how to lead, the organizational climate, and provide strategic recommendations for educational institutions. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach, while the data collection technique uses literature studies by collecting, and interpreting various written sources such as scientific journals, research articles, textbooks, policy documents, and reports of educational institutions. The results of this study show that the implementation of strategic, adaptive, and integrated human resource management is the main factor in fostering a culture of innovation in educational institutions. Practices such as competency-based recruitment, continuous professional development, proportionate reward systems, innovative leadership, and digital transformation play a significant role in building a creative, continuous learning-oriented work environment. In addition, visionary leadership, an open organizational climate, and strong institutional support have proven to strengthen the effectiveness of HR management in driving sustainable innovation.

Abstract

THE EFFECT OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) ASSISTED BY VIDEO-BASED LEARNING MEDIA ON THE CRITICAL THINKING OF STUDENTS OF CLASS XI OFFICE MANAGEMENT AT STATE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL 2 KEDIRIThis study aims to assess the critical thinking skills of class XI Office Management students at SMK Negeri 2 Kediri through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) mode lassisted by video media. The research uses a Quasi-Experimental Design method, specifically the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consists of 35 students from class XI MPK 2 and 34 students from class XI MPK 1. Data was collected from pretest and posttest results. Data analysis techniques included normality test, homogeneity test, Wilcoxon hypothesis test, and N-Gain test. The results of the hypothesis test show an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Based on this result, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, indicating that the application of the PBL model assisted by video-based learning media has a positive effect on the critical thinking abilities of class XI Office Management students at SMK Negeri 2 Kediri.

Abstract

THE ROLE OF LEADERSHIP IN IMPROVING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENTLeadership in education refers to the ability to influence, coordinate, and motivate individuals involved in the implementation and development of education, so that educational or school goals can be achieved effectively and efficiently. To achieve school goals effectively and efficiently, strong principal leadership is required. There are seven main characteristics of effective principal leadership, namely: (1) having a clear vision, (2) setting high expectations for achievement, (3) planning and providing positive and constructive feedback, (4) encouraging efficient use of time, (5) utilizing various learning resources, (6) integrating student development both individually and in groups, (7) conducting continuous assessment and improvement. It is clear that educational leadership plays a crucial role in educational management, because in essence every educational institution or agency needs a leader. This article reviews the definition of leadership, the function of educational leadership, the concept of leadership in schools, and principal leadership. According to Bachtiar Surin, as quoted by Maman Ukas, the term khalifah means a liaison or leader who is given the responsibility to convey or lead something.

Abstract

 ANALYSIS OF MORPHOLOGICAL LANGUAGE ERRORS IN ONLINE NEWS TEXTS ON THE GANTO.CO WEBSITE This study aims to analyze morphological language errors in news texts from the Ganto.co portal. The method used was descriptive qualitative, using listening, recording, and documentation techniques for news texts published between September 20–30, 2025. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results indicate that the morphological errors found include affixation, reduplication, composition, and the absorption of foreign terms that have not been adapted to Indonesian language rules. Contributing factors include the influence of foreign languages, a lack of understanding of morphological rules, and the habit of using non-standard forms in online news writing. The conclusion of this study suggests that media students, such as those from Ganto.co, need to increase their linguistic awareness to become role models for the proper application of Indonesian in journalistic media.

Abstract

Qualitative Path Analysis Of The Correlation Between Teacher Job Embeddedness And Holistic Student Learning Outcomes At Religious Madrasah This study aims to analyze the correlation and path of influence of teachers' Job Embeddedness on the quality of students' holistic learning outcomes in madrasas with religious values. A qualitative case study at Darussalam Tulungagung Integrated Junior High School collected data through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed interactively referring to the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña models through three stages: data condensation with thematic coding, presentation of data in the form of qualitative path diagrams, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings reveal a unique configuration of Job Embeddedness that is transformed into religious values: Fit becomes spiritual harmony, Links becomes an Islamic ukhuwah network, and Sacrifice as a moral responsibility. Religious values act as a critical mediator that transforms work attachment from mere psychological retention to spiritual-collective commitment. Implicitly, such teacher attachment significantly shapes the holistic learning quality of students, including the formation of character and spiritual values, in addition to contributing to cognitive aspects.

Abstract

THE EFFECT OF THE PROJECT BASED LEARNING MODEL ASSISTED BY AUTHENTIC MEDIA ON THE NEWS TEXT WRITING SKILLS OF GRADE XI STUDENTS OF STATE HIGH SCHOOL 5 MERANGIN This study aims to describe the news text writing skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 5 Merangin before and after the implementation of the Project Based Learning model assisted by authentic media and analyze the effect of its implementation on improving news text writing skills. This type of research is quantitative research with an experimental method using a one group pretest-posttest design. The study population was all class XI students of SMA Negeri 5 Merangin in the 2025/2026 academic year, totaling 192 students, while the study sample was 32 class XI F6 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a performance test of news text writing skills assessed based on indicators of news text structure, completeness of 5W + 1H elements, and reading journalistic language and EYD. The results showed that the average value of students' text writing skills before treatment was 55.53 with an Almost Sufficient qualification, while after treatment it increased to 78.51 with a Good qualification. The results of the t-test show that the calculated t_value > t_table (7.97 > 1.697) at a significance level of 0.05, so it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning model assisted by authentic media has a significant effect on the news writing skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 5 Merangin.

Abstract

INTEGRATION OF RELIGIOUS AND CULTURAL VALUES IN MULTICULTURAL ISLAMIC EDUCATION Abstract This study aims to understand how religious and cultural values are integrated into multicultural Islamic education in Indonesia. In a diverse society, Islamic education plays a vital role in shaping students to become faithful, tolerant, and morally upright individuals. This research employs a library research method by analyzing various sources such as books, journals, and policy documents that discuss the integration of religious and cultural values. The findings show that Islamic values such as justice, compassion, brotherhood, and tolerance align with local cultural values like gotong royong (mutual cooperation), sopan santun (politeness), and tepo seliro (empathy). By integrating these values, Islamic education not only strengthens religious identity but also fosters stronger social and national awareness. The implementation of multicultural Islamic education can be carried out through a value-based curriculum, contextual approaches, the teacher’s role as a cultural mediator, and extracurricular activities that combine Islamic teachings with local traditions. Challenges include rigid religious interpretations, limited teacher competence in multicultural teaching, and the influence of globalization that weakens cultural values. This study suggests strengthening religious moderation, providing teacher training based on local wisdom, and developing a curriculum suited to local contexts. Thus, Islamic education is expected to form a society that is faithful, knowledgeable, cultured, and harmonious within the framework of rahmatan lil ‘alamin.
