Abstract

The teacher’s job performance is one of the important factor that influence the process of achieving educational goals. Maintaining and increasing teacher’s job performance become urgent and important parts in educational processes. When we found in certain district that the teachers’ job performance were in low level condition, we realized that we need to study the problem and to find out the way to improve teacher’s job performance. This study designed as a quantitative research used sample of 200 teachers derived by random sampling from its population, and used questionnaires as instruments to collect research data. The Correlational and SITOREM Analysis used to analyze the data. The research had generated findings that the school Organizational Culture and teacher’s Interpersonal Communication as partially and simultaneously had strong significant correlations with job performance. It had been found also that some dimensions of school Organizational Culture and teacher’s Interpersonal Communication were recommended as high-level priority to be strengthened in order to improve teacher’s job performance.

Abstract

Employee engagement is now recognized as an important topic in the company because it relates with turnover rate, productivity of employee and finally to the company growth. A study conducted to describe the finding of an effort to increase the effectiveness of engagement implementation by company in order to increase level of employee engagement. The study used qualitative research method through exploratory study in a multinational company in Jakarta. Data obtained through interviews with key leaders of the company to find out how the implementation of engagement conducted by the company, and a Focus Group Discussion of employee groups to determine the condition of employee engagement. The researchers analyzed the data from both of company and employees to see if there is a gap between engagement implementation by the company and the conditions of employee engagement. To obtain the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation techniques carried out by experts in the HR field. The study found that the company's efforts to implement employee engagement had not been carried out optimally and equally on all engagement indicators. Likewise, the condition of employee engagement has not yet reached optimal conditions. The conclusion described that there is a gap between company’s engagement implementation program and the engagement conditions felt by employees. Thus, it is necessary to make efforts to improve the effectiveness of engagement implementation so that increasing the employee engagement bring contributes to the company's growth

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Correlation between Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture with Organizational Commitment at Minhaj Shahabah Islamic Boarding School Bogor. This study was conducted at Pesantren Minhaj Shahabah Bogor in 2020 and it used survey method with the correlation approach. This study population was 146 employees and the number of sample was 107 employees by proportionate random sampling technique. The collected research data will be analysed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Inferential statistics is used for testing the hypotheses using regression analysis technique, simple correlation and multiple correlation. The results show that 1) there is a positive highly significant correlation berween transformational leadership with organizational commitment with coefficient of correlation (ry.1) is 0,989, coefficient of determination (ry.1)² is 0,978, and supported by regression equation of Ŷ = 14,150 + 0,853 X1, 2) there is a is a positive highly significant correlation between organizational culture with organizational commitment, with coefficient of correlation (ry.2) is 0,993, coefficient of determination (ry.2)² is 0,986, and supported by regression equation Ŷ = 5,992 + 0,932 X2, and 3) there is a positive highly significant correlation between transformational leadership and organizational culture and organizational commitment with coefficient of correlation (ry.1.2) is 0,994 and coefficient of determination (ry.1.2)²  is 0,988 and supported by regression equation Ŷ = 7,698 + 0,260X1 + 0,651X2. Therefore, it can be concluded that organizational commitment can be enhanced through transformational leadership and organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance, Compensation, and engagement on the performance of high school teachers in the South Tangerang area. The Collected data by sending questionnaires to 113 high school teachers in the South Tangerang area. This research uses quantitative methods and SmartPLS 3.0 software to evaluate the outer and inner models. This study leads to the conclusion that work-life balance improves teacher performance.Teacher performance improves as a result of Compensation.Teacher performance improves when employees are engaged.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between organizational culture and transformational leadership together with the performance of employees at the UPT BPPSDMP Ministry of Agriculture in Bogor. The population in this study was the number of employees of the Official Government (ASN) with general functional positions as many 140 people. With a total sample taken amounted to 104 with Slovin formula. The results showed (1) there is a positive and significant correlation between organizational culture and employee performance with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0,848. The contribution of organizational culture (X₁) to employee performance (Y) is calculated based on the determination coefficient value, it is known that the value of R Square = 0,719, This means that organizational culture (X₁) forms a contribution of 71,9% to employee performance (Y). (2) there is a positive and significant correlation between transformational leadership and employee performance with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.747. Transformational leadership contribution (X₂) to employee performance (Y) is calculated based on the determination coefficient value of R Square = 0,558, This means that transformational leadership (X₂) forms a contribution of 55,8% to employee performance (Y). (3) there is a positive and significant correlation between organizational culture and transformational leadership together with employee performance with the value of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0,853. The contribution of organizational culture (X₁) and transformational leadership (X₂) together on employee performance (Y) is calculated based on the determination coefficient value Adjusted R Square (R²) = 0,727, this shows that 72,7% employee performance is influenced by organizational culture and transformational leadership.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between organizational climate and job satisfaction together with commitment to employee organization. The population in this study were staff at Salak Tower Hotel, Bogor which amounted to 145 people, determining the number of samples using slovin formula as many as 107 people. The approach of this research is correlational consisting of two independent variabels, namely Climate Organization and Job Satisfaction, while the dependent variabel is Commitment to Organization. Analytical techniques use multiple correlation, partial correlation and dimensional analysis.The results show that (1) There is a positive and significant relationship between Climate Organization (X1) with Commitment to Organization (Y), ryx1 = 0,994). (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between Job Satisfaction (X2) and Commitment to Organization (Y), (ryx2 = 0,992). (3) There is a relationship between Organizational Climate (X1) and Job Satisfaction (X2) together with Commitment to Organization (Y), (ryx1.2 = 0.995). Thus it can be concluded that Commitment to the Organization can be improved through Organizational Climate and Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT IMPROVEMENT THROUGH STRENGTHENING SERVICE AND PERSONALITY LEADERSHIPThis study aimed to find strategic method to improve employee engagement by examining the relationship between Servant Leadership and Personality with Employee Engagement. The population of this study were 404 private elementary school teachers in West Bogor District, Bogor City, with the sample chosen were 201 teachers who were determined using proportional random sampling. The data were collected using questionnaires, and the analysis technique used simple regression and multiple regression. The  results  showed  a  positive  relationship  between  Servant  Leadership  and Employee Engagement (ry.1  = 0,631, ρ0,01), and there was positive relationship between Personality and Employee Engagement (ry.2 = 0,799, ρ0,01), as well as positive and very significant relationship between Servant Leadership and Personality altogether with Employee Engagement (correlation coefficient ry.12 = 0,839, ρ0,01). Thus, it could be concluded that Employee Engagement could be increased through Servant Leadership and Personality, either partially or altogether.

Abstract

This research outlines the correlation between the headmasters situational leadership and interpersonal communication on organizational commitment. The research was conducted in private islamic school in the Sagaranten Sukabumi, West Java,Indonesia. Survey and data were conducted by applying regression and correlation analysis to test the correlation of two independent variables of situational leadership and interpersonal communication to one independent variable of organizational commitment. Tested on the level of confident of 0,05 and 0,01 to 109 teachers by using proportional random sampling, the result reveals that situational leadership can improve organizational commitment up to 18,75%, interpersonal communication contributes 10,47%. It can be inferred that organizational commitment can be enhanced through situational leadership and interpersonal communication.Keywords : Situasional Leadership, Interpersonal Communication , Organizational Commitment

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the correlation between The Charismatic Leadership Style and Personality with the Teachers Innovation. This research uses two independent variables, those are The Charismatic Leadership Style and Personality with the Teachers Innovation. The research was conducted at 15 states Junior High Schools at Cicurug Subdistrict Sukabumi West Java in 2017 with 130 samples selected from 193 of populations, selected by Proporsional Random Sampling . This research uses survey method by analyzing data with sample and multiple correlation statistic test. The research concludes that: First, there is positive and highly significant correlation between Charismatic Leadership Style (X1) and Teachers Innovation. (Y) with regression equation ? = 49,037 + 0,603 X1 and correlation coefficient ry1 = 0,7164 and determination coefficient r2y1 = 0,5132. Second; there was positive and highly significant correlation between Personality (X2) with Teachers Innovation. with regression equation ? = 46,384 + 0,634 X2 and correlation coefficient ry2 = 0,6989 and determination coefficient r2y2 = 0,4884; and the Third, there was positive highly significant correlation between Charismatic Leadership Style (X1) and Personality (X2) all together with Teachers Innovation. (Y) with regression eqution ? = 18,872 + 0,422 ,422 ????X + 0,419 X2. , correlation coefficient ry12 = 0,8290 and r_(y.12)^2 determination coefficient 0,6873, or it means that the contribution of pedagogical competencies and achivement motivation links to Teachers Innovation. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari hubungan antara Efektivitas Program Pelatihan dan Kepribadian dengan Kualitas Layanan Guru di SMP Swasta di Kecamatan Parakansalak Kabupaten Sukabumi. Responden penelitian adalah guru non-Pns dengan jumlah sampel 100 orang yang diambil secara proportional random sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian ini dikelompokkan dalam penelitian korelasional antara dua variable bebas yaitu Efektivitas Program Pelatihan dan Kepribadian dan satu variabel terikat yaitu Kualitas Layanan Guru. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode survei dan teknik analisis data dengan uji statistic korelasi sederhana dan korelasi ganda serta uji regresi linear sederhana , uji regresi linear ganda dan uji korelasi parsial. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan tiga kesimpulan, yaitu : Pertama, terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara Efektivitas Program Pelatihan dengan Kualitas Layanan Guru dengan koefisien korelasi ry1 = 0,7116, dan koefisien determinasi ry21 = 0,5064 yang berarti kontribusi Efektivitas Program Pelatihan terhadap Kualitas Layanan Guru sebesar 50,64% dan persamaan regresi Y = 70, 5593 + 0,6009X. Kedua, terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara Kepribadian dengan Kualitas Layanan Guru dengan koefisien korelasi ry1 =0,6883, dan koefisien determinasi ry21 = 0,4738 yang berarti kontribusi Efektivitas Program Pelatihan terhadap Kualitas Layanan Guru sebesar 50,64% dan persamaan regresi Y=68,5838 0,6142X2. Ketiga, terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara Efektivitas Program Pelatihan dan Kepribadian secara bersama-sama dengan Kualitas Layanan Guru dengan koefisien korelasi ry.12 = 0,7143, dan koefisien determinasi ry2.12 = 0,5102 yang berarti kontribusi Efektivitas Program Pelatihan terhadap Kualitas Layanan Guru sebesar 51,02% dan persamaan regresi Y = 67,958 + 0,6009X1 + 0,1537X2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kualitas Layanan Guru dapat ditingkatkan melalui Efektivitas Program Pelatihan dan Kepribadian.KATA KUNCI: Program Pelatihan Dan Kepribadian, Kualitas Layanan Guru
