Abstract

The low level of teacher attendance, student national exam scores, and teacher performance assessment results are some indicators of low teacher performance. This article discusses the results of an explanatory survey of the phenomenon of low teacher performance aimed at knowing the effect of job satisfaction on the performance of 53 certified elementary school teachers. By using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument, which was analyzed using a simple regression analysis technique, the data analysis showed that job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on the performance of certified teachers. To optimize teacher performance, school leaders must be fully concerned with teacher job satisfaction which is realized through promotion satisfaction, satisfaction with the work itself, salary satisfaction, work environment satisfaction, and supervision satisfaction in improving teacher performance.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to see how effective learning media in terms of wortschatz learning outcomes and German students' motivation to learn. The research method used was, a quasi-experiment with One Group Pretest-Posttest. Essay tests and a motivation questionnaire are among the research instruments. The Researche use one quesetion for essay test and use twelve questions for motivation questionnaire.  The  showed that animation media can improve learning by increasing their wortschatz learning outcomes and motivation. This is shown by t-test results with sig. 0.000 and count -12.43. The application of animation media improves students' motivation to learn. with a sig. of 0.000, the  gives a  of -14.72.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: the effectiveness of the SPMI implementation at STKIP SITUS Banten using the CIPP evaluation model. The study was conducted at the STKIP Situs Banten using the CIPP evaluation method. To conduct a comprehensive assessment, the CIPP model requires that multiple aspects of a program be considered, including input from representative stakeholders. These aspects are evaluated through four major evaluations context (X1), input (X2), process (X3), and product (X4), which provide data to assess the overall program. Collecting data with a questionnaire filled out by 200 respondents lecturers and education staff. And the research sample was randomly selected. The results showed: Evaluation of the implementation of the internal quality assurance system at STKIP Situs Banten using the CIPP evaluation model was effective category.

Abstract

The social environment is a combination of individuals and groups that always display different activities and characters. Many things are always displayed in the community, but only pass by. This research aims to see the existence of the social environment around students to support the IPS learning process. Because the field of study IPS is an integrated subject consisting of several studies, namely history, geography, economics, and to. The research method used in this research is library research. With data sources of books, journals, and articles that have relevance to the topic under study. With research techniques, first, the selection of topics based on problem identification; second, exploration of information, looking for sources; third, determination of the focus of research based on information; fourth, data sources, in the form of information or data from books, journals, articles; Fifth, read sources, read and study sources critically to achieve maximum results. sixth, make research notes, which is arguably the most important stage and may also be the culmination of the entire series of research; seventh, the researcher makes notes related to the source that has been read to be processed/analyzed to obtain conclusions; Eighth, the researcher compiled the final report.The results showed that the use of the community environment as a learning resource is very relevant in IPS subjects. Because the community environment is always related to historical, socio-cultural, economic, and geographical issues.

Abstract

Calculus learning requires a high level of visualization in instilling concepts optimally to students. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to look at students' innovative attitudes in developing matlab GUI-based learning media in solving calculus problems and see the influence of the ability to use matlab GUI attributes on the level of innovation of the students in developing learning media. In the early stages, the students developed media according to the given topic. In the second stage, the product was assessed in terms of its validity. The students' innovative attitudes were assessed by a team of experts using questionnaires with 5-point Likert scale. From the 16 media successfully developed, validation results were obtained with an average score of 3.83 which means "valid". Meanwhile, from the assessment of innovative attitudes, the students’ attitudes are in the category of "innovative" with an average score of 3.61. In addition, the results of the regression tests revealed that the innovative attitudes are influenced by the ability to use the matlab GUI attributes by 84.2%. The rest is influenced by other factors with similarities: . Lastly, the results of the assessment showed that the media belonged to the category of "very effective" (score 81.2%).

Abstract

The competence of teachers in 21st century learning is important in order to keep up with the times. A review of qualitative research using a phenomenological approach in this study was carried out in order to be able to adjust the learning experience during the COVID-19 pandemic experienced by the teachers. This research was conducted on high school teachers with a sample of 8 teachers spread across several areas on the island of Java to obtain the complexity of the data results and as a response to the process of adapting research developments during the pandemic with a semi-structured interview process both offline and online utilizing various online platforms. The results of the study showed that teacher competence is closely related to the development of students and 21st century learning during the pandemic. The aspects that have strong relationship are cognitive competencies that require dynamic educators to provide opportunities for students to develop their potential, social competencies possessed by teachers are needed to improve interactive and networked student communication, teacher personality competencies are still needed to strengthen student character, and teachers with professional competence encourage teachers to be proactive in developing skills to strengthen the quality of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Based on the explanation above, the researcher decides to conduct a research on inflectional morphemes errors in the recount text written by third semester students, this research is expected to identify of errors in using inflectional morphemes. So the researcher comes to the title “Error Analysis in Using Inflectional Morphemes Students’ Recount Text of English Students”. Based on definition above the researcher used a qualitative research because the researcher want to find out the types of errors in using inflectional morpheme in writing recount text of English students. The researcher taken one group of three groups of that English Department with consists of 30 students in a group. The study applied descriptive qualitative settled in collecting the case study that used to gain detail information concerning students’ error on inflectional morpheme in writing recount text. Based on the students writing recount text composition there are 106 errors. Based on the data, the writer classified the errors that occur into some categories as well: Addition, Omission, Misformation, and Misordering. The result of this research indicates that there are a number of errors made by third semester students of UHKBPNP English students in writing recount text using inflectional morpheme. Based on research finding, the researcher was concluded: “There are four types of errors commonly made by the students’ recount text using inflectional morpheme namely error of addition, omission, misformation, and misordering.

Abstract

The post-covid-19 pandemic is a new era that affects several sectors in Indonesia, one of which is education. Education has changed from conventional learning to online learning. The use of technology in education is still needed to improve the quality of education. Therefore, digital literacy is the main key and foundation that must be owned. This study aims to describe teachers' digital literacy to improve the quality of learning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to explore the level of teacher ability, driving and constraining factors, efforts of teachers and schools as well as teacher challenges in improving teacher digital literacy to improve quality in learning with a total of 5 informants, namely homeroom teachers for grade 7, homeroom teachers for grade 8, 9th-grade homeroom teacher, physical education teacher, Craft subject teacher. The instruments used in this study are interviews, observations and documentation. The study results show that teacher digital literacy is very influential in improving the quality of learning. So teachers must have digital literacy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effectiveness of online English learning program implementation during the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of the context component (X1; (2) the effectiveness of online English learning program implementation during the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of the input component (X2); and (3) the effectiveness of online English learning program implementation during the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of the output component (X3). (4) the effectiveness of the online English learning program implementation during the COVID-19 pandemic from the product component; (5) the effectiveness of the implementation of online English learning programs during the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of the context (X1), inputs, processes, and product components; and (6) obstacles that impede the implementation of online English learning programs during the Covid-19. Data was gathered through the use of a questionnaire completed by 250 respondents. And the research sample consisted of 50 students chosen at random. after the data analysis results are transformed to a T-score and then enter the Glickman quadrant for evaluating the online English learning program's performance. The findings indicated that the CIPP score on the Glickman Quadrant (-+++) reflects a successful implementation of the online English learning program. They discovered a number of impediments to online English instruction, including the following: 1) Restrictions on media, network, or internet signals, as well as student internet quotas; and provision of customized internet quotas to assist students with specific learning requirements. 2) Student dissatisfaction with online education and a desire to meet in person on a permanent basis, comparable to the pre-pandemic era. 3) Due to the pandemic's prolonged presence, students' passion for studying has waned.

Abstract

The goal of this joint classroom action research was to help students enhance their capacity to write hortatory exposition texts. It involved 33 high school students as research participants. The data collection device in this study was a writing test. According to the findings of the study, combining project-based learning with process writing and Instagram could help students improve their writing skills. Students can improve their average writing score if it is higher than the passing grade. All of the students were able to improve their writing score by at least ten points over their previous score on the first test. Furthermore, 81,8% of the students were able to get the minimum passing mark.
