Abstract

Bullying that occurs in a school environment can cause psychological problems for victims in their social life. Researchers conducted research in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Jember and the analysis results obtained rxy value is 0.7178. This figure is greater than the r table at the 0.05 significance level, namely 0.1809, with the number of respondents (N) = 118. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational research, using a purposive random sampling technique of 118 samples consisting of 5 classes. By using a significance level of 0.05 with the questionnaire research method, interviews and documentation, data analysis using the product moment correlation formula. These results provide an understanding that the null hypothesis (Ho) which reads "There is no effect of bullying on the psychosocial condition of class XI IPA students of SMA Negeri 3 Jember" is rejected. Meanwhile, the working hypothesis (Ha, which reads "There is an effect of bullying on the psychosocial condition of class XI IPA students of SMA Negeri 3 Jember" can be accepted.  Keywords: Bullying; Psychosocial

Abstract

Anxiety is a mixed feeling that contains feelings of fear and concern with no known cause for experiences or events that have not yet occurred. The greatest anxiety often occurs when students face academic demands and assignments. The research focuses on answering the problem of whether there is a correlation between religiosity, emotional-intelligence and social-support with students' academic anxiety. The research subjects were students of SMK Negeri X Jombang who were taken in a proportional stratified manner. The research data were collected using four instruments, namely the religiosity scale, emotional intelligence scale, social support scale and anxiety scale. The analysis of the research data used was multiple regression and partial correlation. The results of the study proved that religiosity, emotional intelligence, and social support contributed 10.7% to students' academic anxiety. Thus 89.3% of anxiety is influenced by other variables. Students are expected to be able to increase religiosity in everyday life and to know and direct all the weaknesses and strengths in themselves. Abstract

Schizophrenia is a psychotic disorder characterized by disturbed thoughts, emotions, and behavior-thoughts. Schizophrenia can be caused by heredity, psychosocial problems, and family problems. This research is qualitative research and uses a case study approach. This study aims to provide intervention to schizophrenic patients. The results of observations, interviews, and psychological tests showed that the subjects experienced auditory hallucinations and hallucinations in the form of feelings of sick limbs. In addition, the subject also experienced the feeling of being chased. Based on the symptoms that appear, it can be concluded that the subject meets the criteria for the diagnosis of Paranoid Schizophrenia. Based on the results of the assessment obtained, the researcher provided an intervention in the form of existential counseling with strength bombardment techniques with the aim of fostering meaning and self-development of the subject towards better growth. The intervention was carried out for 6 days. The results showed that existential counseling with the strength bombardment technique was effectively used as a medium to cultivate meaning in the subject. After the intervention process was carried out, subject felt that he had the potential and was able to get through the difficult times he had gone through. Abstract

Changes in learning patterns occurred in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. Face-to-face learning patterns, which are usually carried out at all levels of high school education and above, must be replaced by online or online learning. This is done to prevent the spread of covid-19. This study aims to determine the effect of online learning on student academic stress during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research used was analytic observational with cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in November 2020 with 285 respondents from SMA Negeri 1 Kepanjen. The results of the study indicate that there is an effect of online learning on academic stress experienced by students in school. Abstract

Independence of career decision making is independent attitude in making career decisions. Independent attitudes are confidence, responsibility, do not need helping to each other, turn and develop themselves, to be diligent, creative, initiative people. Classical career guidance service is career guidance service in the class. This research goal is to know the increase of students’ total that having the high independence level of career decision making. This research uses counseling guide action research as research type and questionnaire as research method. Data analyst use percentage formula. The research subject is XI TSM2 student of SMK Berdikari Jember with 11 students. The result of the research is 4 students (37%) in before cycle I, 5 students (46%) in after cycle I, 6 students (55%) in before cycle II and 8 students (73%) in after cycle II. This shows that students’ total that having high independence level of career decision making is increase.  Keywords: career decision making; career guidance.

Abstract

Students with low interest in learning are due to several factors such as boredom, association, low learning motivation and physical health. Based on the results of the initial study, it showed that students' interest in learning was low, it was necessary to arrange services to increase students' interest in learning. Students' low interest in learning needs to get help, so it doesn't hinder their developmental tasks. Assistance designed to increase interest in learning is group guidance services. The purpose of the research is to test the effectiveness of group guidance services to increase the learning interest of vocational students in the Computer and Network Engineering major. The sample in this study was 35 students. This study uses an experimental research one group pre test post test design. Collecting data using a questionnaire developed by the researcher. The results showed that the results of the t-table test were: 4.405 > 2.030 at a significance level of 5% with (df = 35 – 1 = 34). The results showed that group guidance services were effective in increasing students' interest in learning. Keywords:Adolescent; Group Conseling; Learn;Vocational High School

Abstract

The teacher is the most decisive component in the education system as a whole, which must receive central attention, first and foremost. Personal competence or personality personal competence is the quality of a teacher's personal abilities needed to become a good teacher. This personal competence includes personal abilities related to self-understanding, self-acceptance, self-direction, and self-realization. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the personal competence of guidance and counseling teachers on class student learning activities. The population in this study was 145 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Silo. The research sample was selected as many as 50 students by random sampling method. The data were analyzed using Chi Square (Chi Square) statistical analysis. The results specifically show that personal physical competence has a weak effect, while personal and psychological competence has a significant effect. Recommendations in this study are expected that further research can correct the shortcomings of this study.  Keywords:Counselor Competence; Junior High School

Abstract

Low self esteem can prevent a person from achieving the desired personal success in his future life. Based on the initial study by observing the data obtained about 57 %of students who experince self confidence. This study aims to increase the intensity of self confidence through group counseling. Yhe type of research used is guidance and counseling action research. The procedure used is a cycle model. Based on the results of the study, the first cycle of the first meeting of the respondents were still students showing ow self esteem. It is shown from the activeness, interst of students, enthusiasm of student, and conducive to students only around 60-66%. The second meeting, respondents have shown a better condition, which is around 74%. Cycle two the first meeting, around 80%. The second meeting, student avtivity. Student interest, student enthusiasm and student conduciveness increased, ranging from 89-96%. Group counseling services are one of the recommended aids to help students who exspirince low self esteem. Keywords: Group Conseling; Self Confodence

Abstract

Discipline is the key to the success of the process of providing education in schools. Discipline can be put to goog use as an educational tool and material. As an educational tool, the function of discipline is to ensure the smoothness of the learning process which is the core of the educational process. Student delays are caused by several factors, namely personal factors that come from being lazy and undisciplined, family and environmental factors also greatly influence the purpose of this study to find out whether there is a correlation between the role of gukdance and counseling teachers and student delays at MTS Bustanul Ulum Kemiri Panti. The population in this study consisted of 200 students and the sample was chosen randomly. From the results of data analysis, it is known thay the results of statistical product moment testing the results obtained are 0.727, so when consulted with a rough interpretation table the amount is between 0.70 up to 0.90. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the role of guidance and counseling teachers and student delays Keywords: guidance and counseling teachers; late behavior

Abstract

The ability of an individual to survive in difficult conditions, to be able to quickly rise from adversity and be able to adapt positively to academic pressures and demands, this situation is called academic resilience. Students with high academic resilience will always be optimistic and positive in facing academic difficulties, not easily discouraged and able to get out of the problem they face. This research uses correlational quantitative method. The subjects in this study were 123 respondents consisting of 51 men and 72 women with an age range of 19-25 years. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling. Data collection methods in this study are questionnaires and interviews. Based on the results of the rxy value is 0.413. These result indicate that the correlation coefficient is positive and is in the sufficient category. The correlation coefficient value of r=0.413 means that the contribution of the self regulated learning variable to academic resilience is 16.56% while the remaining 83.44% is from other variables. These variables or factors include students cognitive abilities, self efficacy, self esteem, student characteristics, community, environment and social support. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between self regulated learning and academic resilience of students in the 2020 academic year.
