Abstract

The Case of Covid-19 in Indonesia from 2020 - 2021 has not shown any changes yet. The Covid-19 pandemic has crippled all areas of activity, especially in the field of education. The learning system that was previously carried out face-to-face has suddenly changed to online, where there are obstacles that trigger the emergence of stress. This study aims to determine changes in stress levels during the PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) and PPKM (Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities) periods and the determinants that cause changes in stress levels in students during the Covid-19 pandemic period in Aceh. This research uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all students in Aceh who were studying in Aceh with a sample of 122 students who had met the inclusion criteria using the random sampling method with two data collection times. The statistical tests used were the T-test and logistic regression test using STATA 14. The results of this study show that the stress levels experienced by students are in the moderate (63.11%) and severe (34.33%) categories. Of the 13 variables studied, there are 2 variables related to stress levels during the PSBB period, namely learning motivation and college assignments, and 3 variables related to stress levels during the PPKM period, namely college assignments, learning styles, and limited quotas with a p-value <0.05.

Abstract

Diosgenin as an herbal compound has been shown to have activity as an atherosclerosis agent, but the low solubility of the compound may hinder the research process of diosgenin as a medicinal substance. This study aimed to examine the interaction and affinity of diosgenin compounds and their derivatives with the macromolecule cyclodextrin to increase solubility by inclusion complex formation. Alpha and beta cyclodextrins and all ligands were optimized using the density functional theory (DFT) method and the 6-31G base set with hybrid functional B3LYP. Next, molecular docking was carried out using AutoDock. Of the 12 compounds that were tethered to each macromolecule, the compound 2-chloro-3-(((4S,5'R,6aR,6bS,8aS,8bR,9S,10R,11aS,12aS,12bS)-5',6a,8a,9- tetramethyl-1,3,3',4,4',5,5',6,6a,6b,6',7,8,8a,8b,9,11a,12,12a,12b-icosahydrospiro[naphtho[2',1':4,5]indeno[2,1-b]furan-10,2'-pyran]-4-yl)oxy)naphthalene-1,4-dione (M18) and the α-cyclodextrins were found to have the lowest binding free energy (∆G) and inhibition constant (Ki) of -6.42 kcal/mol and 19.80 uM, respectively. The results of this study can be studied and continued as future research material to develop evidence of increasing solubility in compounds by forming inclusion complexes with macromolecules. In conclusion, diosgenin and cyclodextrin macromolecules interact to form a water-soluble inclusion complex.

Abstract

The normal delivery process is often followed by pain caused by a ruptured pervaginal wound, which can be the primary focus for assessing the degree of inflammation in the body. The presence of inflammation remains a major concern. One of the most commonly used indicators of inflammation is C-reactive protein (CRP) in response to inflammation, infections, or tissue injury. aimed at measuring CRP levels in normal postpartum patients who have been allowed to return to the hospital, Dr. Soekardjo Tasikmalaya. The samples were taken through purposive sampling and consisted of 30 patients from RSUD Dr. Soekardjo City, Tasikmalaya. The inclusion criteria in this study included patients who did not have a history of diseases such as diabetes, tuberculosis (TB), or lupus. While the exclusion criteria included the refusal of subjects to be respondents and samples who underwent hemolysis and have met the ethical test of the research with the number 043-01/E.01/KEPK-BTH/V/2024. The results of the C-reactive protein examination showed that 26 samples (86,7%) showed positive results and 4 samples (13,3%) showed negative results. So it can be concluded that normal postpartum mothers still have inflammation, especially on the first day.
