Abstract

Data from the Ministry of Education and Culture show that the prevalence of autistic children in Indonesia is continuously increasing, with about 1 in 100 children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). According to data from the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2023, approximately 70% of these children face challenges in social and communication aspects, which require specific and targeted educational interventions. This research aims to examine the transformation of vocational education at SLB Bina Anggita Yogyakarta as a best practice in enhancing the work independence of autistic children. The Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection reports 2.4 million cases of autism in Indonesia with a continuously rising prevalence. Data show that children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) need specialized educational interventions to address their social and communication challenges. Inclusive education programs aim to improve access to and the quality of education, but there is still a need to enhance facilities and resources. This study employs a qualitative approach. Data collection is conducted through in-depth interviews and document analysis, with data validation using a triangulation model, which involves comparing information from different sources and cross-referencing it with data obtained from document reviews. The study's findings indicate that approaches tailored to the individual needs of autistic children are effective in improving their practical skills and job readiness, as well as boosting their confidence. In summary, while significant progress has been made, ongoing efforts are required to develop policies, train teachers, and improve facilities to achieve optimal outcomes in vocational education for autistic children. It is crucial to ensure that autistic children have equal opportunities for success in the workforce and can contribute positively to society.

Abstract

America is known as a country that emphasises freedom for its people. However, America has the highest crime rate in the world. Mass shootings are among the crimes that pose a major concern. This study aims to present the impacts of school shootings on victims, as well as the role of families and counselors in assisting the healing process of PTSD victims as depicted in the movie The Fallout (2022). The study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing primary data such as scenes, dialogues, and body language from the movie. The data collection method involves understanding the movie and sorting the data based on the study's objective. To analyze the main data, this research used two main theories, namely the PTSD theory by Freud (1917) and Symbolic Interactionism by Blumer (1986), and strengthened it by using additional data from scientific journals. This research concludes that victims of PTSD resulting from school shootings encounter various psychological symptoms, including alterations in their characteristics, avoidance of the tragedy, and the occurrence of nightmares. Through the process, family and counselors act as parties who can provide action and create a safe space for PTSD victims to heal.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the reasons for policy actors (policy formulators), in this case the Ministry of Religion of Yogyakarta City, to initiate a policy regarding MDTT, what is the process of implementing and evaluating the MDTT policy at Suryodiningratan State Elementary School. This research uses an evaluative qualitative research approach. The type of research is evaluative using the CIPP Model (Context, Input, Process, Product) from Stufflebeam. The research results obtained show that the reason the Ministry of Religion of Yogyakarta City formulated a policy regarding MDTT was due to concerns about students in State Elementary Schools whose level of ability to Read and Write the Al-Qur'an (BTAQ) was low, in terms of technical matters in the field holding a PKS (Cooperation Agreement) with the Yogyakarta City Education Department. The implementation of MDTT at SD Negeri Suryodiningratan 2 involves the school and Honorary Religious Counselors (PAH) as MDTT teaching staff as a whole so that the implementation process of planning, implementation and evaluation activities can run well. Meanwhile, for the MDTT policy evaluation results using the CIPP evaluation model, the results were (+ + + +). These results illustrate that the context component works effectively, the input component is adequate and well fulfilled, the process component also runs well with cooperation between the parties involved, and the product component also produces significant changes related to religious knowledge in students. So, based on the findings of the research results above using CIPP, it can be concluded that the MDTT policy is quite effective

Abstract

This study examines the challenges of media education in addressing the spread of hoaxes among Generation Z, who are digital natives living in the digital era. Although Generation Z has extensive access to technology and social media, their levels of digital literacy vary significantly, particularly in information verification and digital ethics. Their susceptibility to hoaxes is influenced by the intensity of social media use, limited critical thinking skills, and the insufficient integration of media literacy into formal education. Using a literature review method, this study analyzes the characteristics of Generation Z, the factors contributing to their vulnerability to hoaxes, and effective strategies for strengthening media literacy. The findings highlight the need for comprehensive, collaborative, and adaptive media literacy education that aligns with technological developments and the specific characteristics of Generation Z, enabling them to become smart, critical, and responsible digital citizens. This study contributes to the understanding of how media education can be optimized to enhance Generation Z’s resilience against misinformation, offering a conceptual framework for developing more effective and contextually relevant media literacy programs

The research subjects were students who had difficulty learning to read at the beginning of grade I elementary school. Data collection techniques use observation, reading ability tests, product validation questionnaires by experts. The steps used in this research and development are (1) research and gathering initial information; (2) planning; (3) product format development; (4) small scale trials; (5) final revision and product improvement. Module validation is carried out by media expert validators, material experts and class teachers. The score from the media expert validator got a percentage of 96%, the score from the media expert validator got a percentage of 96%, the class teacher got a percentage of 100%. Thus, all validation results are classified in the "very feasible" category. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the Biblical and Theological basis for the meaning of the sentence "ascended to heaven, sitting at the right hand of God the Father" based on the Apostles' Creed by looking at the Bible verses that refer to this sentence as the basis of the Bible in delivering its theological meaning, and understand the meaning and meaning of "ascended into heaven, sitting at the right hand of God the Father" in the Apostles' Creed, which is a formulation of a confession of faith that contains history, as a confession of the church's faith in the Triune God. The research methodology used is the Library Research method, using literature or literature that supports the title that has been put forward, where the author will use literature regarding Christian dogma, history related to the formulation of the Apostles' Creed, and other literature that supports the author's thinking references. The results and conclusions that can be drawn are that the Christian confession of faith formulated in existing confessions of faith such as the Apostles' Creed is certainly needed as a guide to the church's faith in witnessing and proclaiming its testimony to God who reveals His love in His Trinity. So the church has the task of confirming the faith of its members through testimony in the teachings that the church provides to its congregation. Teachings about Jesus Christ are contained in the HKBP Confession and Martin Luther's Catechism as documents used by the HKBP church. Keywords: Biblical and Theological, Theological Meaning
