Abstract

Character education will grow well if it starts from instilling a religious spirit in students. Therefore, an effective way to instill religious character values in students is through the process of memorizing the Koran, students not only learn by rote but also deepen Islamic teachings which contain various moral and ethical values as a developer of love for al-Qur'an. al-Qur'an as a guide to life. Apart from that, success in implementing religious character values in schools is also determined by the application of appropriate learning strategies and methods. Strategies and methods in learning, in the tahfidz al-Qur'an program that researchers carry out. The effort to improve the Islamic personality of students is to prepare students to believe, appreciate and practice the teachings of the Islamic religion. This research is included in qualitative field research (filed research). SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung as a data source for the research study conducted. Data collection methods use interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The religious character values that are instilled include discipline, cleanliness, hard work, honesty, sincerity, patience, trustworthiness and responsibility which are applied through exemplary methods, habituation, advice and the Reward and Punishment Method.

Abstract

The inaugural meeting of the potential presidential candidates of the Republic of Indonesia took place at the 3 Bacapres Bicara Gagasan ‘3 Presidential Candidates Talking Ideas’ event on September 19, 2023, organized by Mata Najwa at Gadjah Mada University. This forum is very important as it requires every potential presidential candidates for the Republic of Indonesia to effectively communicate the entirety of their speech. This research tries to specifically describe the various ways in which the principle of cooperation is violated and the resulting effects on discussion in Ganjar Pranowo's speech. The research utilizes speech data from the presidential candidate of the Republic of Indonesia, obtained from Najwa Shihab's YouTube channel. The data were examined using qualitative descriptive methods, employing a pragmatic theoretical approach, specifically focusing on the notion of cooperative principles and implicatures. Transcription was used to acquire research data. The findings are Ganjar Pranowo tends to violate the maxim of quantity, maxim of relevance and maxim of quality. The purpose of violating the maxim is to inform, avoid, and refuse/rebut.

Abstract

The main problem is what the Islamic education system was like during the Mongol empire. The aim of this research is to find out more deeply about the Islamic education system during Mongo's tenure. The research method used is a descriptive analysis approach which will provide an overview of the Islamic education system during the Mongol era. Data collection was carried out by exploring various references in the form of books, books, articles and other relevant scientific papers. The results obtained in this research are that the education system during the Mongol era consisted of three civilizations, namely the Changhari dynasty, the Golden Horde and the Khan Dynasty.  Meanwhile, the condition of Islamic education consists of several categories, including: The movement of science centers, the growth of new sciences, the lack of Politikul Khanah, the number of schools and Mausu'at.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse code-mixing in Azka Corbuzier's YouTube videos, given the importance of language as a primary communication tool. Code-mixing, the combination of two languages within a single utterance, is intriguing to study in the context of using Indonesian and English simultaneously. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to analyse the types of code mixing used by Azka Corbuzier's video YouTube channel and the factors that drive Azka Corbuzier to use code mixing in his utterances. This study collected data by watching and transcribing five episodes of Azka Corbuzier's video on the YouTube channel. Hoffman's theory of types of code-mixing, including intra-sentential, intralexical, and changes in pronunciation, guided the classification of the data. The results showed that intra-sentential code-mixing is the most common utterance, with 57 out of 60 total instances. We found three instances of intralexical code-mixing, but no instances of changes in pronunciation. Factors influencing Azka Corbuzier's use of code-mixing include habit, communication situations, topics, educational background, social prestige, language proficiency, and cultural influences. This study also concluded that Azka Corbuzier's videos, through code-mixing, reflect complex linguistic and social dynamics, where the use of two languages facilitates communication and expresses cultural identity.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the effect of the meaningful instructional design learning model on the history learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri Noman. The research design is in the form of True Experimental Design, pre-test post-test control group design category. The research was conducted at Noman State High School with a population of class XI students. Sampling was carried out with saturated samples so that the samples taken were students from class XI.IPS.1 as the experimental class and class XI.IPS.2 as the control class. Telnol data collection was carried out using a test technique consisting of 30 questions. The collected data was then analyzed using the t-test. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the Meaningful Instructional Design learning model on the history learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Negeri Noman. This can be seen from the average pretest and posttest scores for the experimental class, which are 62.31 and 85.72. Meanwhile, the average pre-test and post-test scores for the control class were 61.59 and 71.24. So there is a difference in learning outcomes for the experimental class of 24.13 while for the control class it is 9.65. This result is strengthened by calculating the "t" test (hypothesis test) where tcount (7,600) > ttable (2,000) for a significance level of 5% with dk = 60, so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted

Abstract

This research aims to determine the completeness of social studies learning outcomes for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau after implementing the Numbered Head Together learning model.  The research approach used in this research is quantitative descriptive, with an experimental research type. The research design in this study was one group pretest-posttest. The data collection technique was carried out using a test technique in the form of multiple choice with a total of 40 questions. The data analysis technique in this research is a quantitative technique. The population in the study were all class VIII students with a total of 132 students. The sampling technique used in this research was a simple random sampling technique with the samples taken in this research in class VIII.3 with a total of 33 students. Based on the analysis results from hypothesis testing with the t test, it is known that tcount 5.175 with a significance level of 5% at degrees of freedom dk = N-1 = 33-1= 32. Thus tcount (5.175) > ttable (1.697) for a significance level of 5 %, this means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In other words, the hypothesis proposed in the research can be accepted as true, so it can be concluded that the social studies learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau after implementing the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model are significantly complete

Abstract

Through research on the effect of Personality Competency and Social Competence of Islamic Religious Education Teachers on the Morals of Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo, South Lampung Regency. The aim of the research is (1) To explain the Effect of Teachers' Personal Competencies on the Morals of Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo . (2) To explain the Effect of Teacher Social Competence on the Morals of Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo. (3) To explain the Effect of the personality and social competence of Islamic religious education teachers on the morals of Class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo, South Lampung Regency. The type of research in this research is a type of causal relationship associative research with a descriptive quantitative approach. The population in this study were all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo in the 2023-2024 academic year, totaling 258 students, the sample was 28 students and the sampling technique used simple random sampling or randomly. Data collection techniques in this research used questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using data analysis techniques in the form of normality, linearity, multiple regression and determinant coefficient analysis. The conclusions of this research are (1) There is an Effect of the Personality Competence of Islamic Religious Education Teachers on the Morals of Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo. (2) There is an Effect of the Social Competence of Islamic Religious Education Teachers on the Morals of Students in the Class VIII Islamic Religious Education subject at SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo. (3) There is an Effect of the Personality Competence and Social Competence of Islamic Religion Education Teachers on the Morals of Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 1 Sidomulyo.

Abstract

Character education is a very important program implemented to strengthen the character of students. Elementary school education is strategic for character education. One of the subjects that supports the implementation of strengthening character education is the Qur'an and Hadith. Preliminary research shows that MIN 4 Way Kanan has implemented active, innovative, creative, effective and enjoyable learning strategies in the formation of student character in learning the Qur'an and Hadith through a scientific approach. This research method is qualitative descriptive. Data sources consist of primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques are non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. And the test of data validity is triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study indicate that First, the implementation of Al-Qur'an Hadith learning with the PAIKEM strategy on character building of students at MIN 4 Way Kanan, in the planning, integrates the existence of learning objectives, lesson materials and teaching and learning activities which are arranged in the syllabus and RPP containing religious values, discipline, creativity, independence, environmental and social care, and responsibility. Second, the implementation of learning the Qur'an Hadith with the PAIKEM strategy towards the formation of students' character at MIN 4 Way Kanan, in the implementation of the integration of preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities containing religious values, discipline, creativity, independence, environmental and social care, and responsibility. However, in character formation it is still low due to the lack of understanding of students through the instillation of role models and learning from teachers. Third, the implementation of learning the Qur'an Hadith with the PAIKEM strategy towards the formation of students' character at MIN 4 Way Kanan, in the evaluation integrated with authentic assessments, namely the domain of attitude, the domain of knowledge, and the domain of skills containing religious values, discipline, creativity, independence, environmental and social care, and responsibility. In this study, the strengthening of character education in the implementation of PAI learning is still weak due to the lack of instillation of exemplary methods from teachers.

Abstract

Quality management as a concept, its involvement is needed as an operational instrument in directing the administrative service process in a school. This study discusses the Application of Education Quality Management in Administrative Services at SMK Pelayaran Katangka Makassar. type of field research using a qualitative approach. Qualitative research does not use statistics, but through data collection, analysis, and then interpretation. It is usually related to social and human problems that are interdisciplinary, focusing on multimethod, naturalistic and interpretive (in data collection, paradigm, and interpretation). The data collection in this study was carried out directly at the Makassar Katangka Shipping Vocational School, as for the data collection techniques, namely: observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques are carried out by means of data reduction, data display, and verification. The results of this study show that education quality management then comes into a concept that offers a good direction to efforts to achieve the goals of a school. A good direction is to guide school management to obtain a quality standard that has a positive impact on society. Likewise, internally, the concept of education quality management is present to improve and fix things that are unequal internally so that it is able to maximize all services that are needed by school stakeholders.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Application of the Student Facilitator and Explaining Learning Model to the Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Class VIII Students of Purwodadi State Middle School. "The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is a significant increase in the Social Sciences Learning Outcomes of Class VIII Students of Purwodadi State Middle School after being given the Student Facilitator and Explaining Learning Model ?. This research aims to find out whether after implementing the Student Facilitator and Explaining model, the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri Purwodadi have improved. The type of research used is quasi-experimental. The population of all classes VIII of SMP Negeri Purwodadi and samples of class VIII.1 were taken randomly. Data collection was carried out using instrument tests in the form of multiple choice with 30 questions, pre-test-post-test in the form of multiple choice with 25 questions. The collected data was analyzed using the t-test at the significance level α = 0.05. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the social studies learning outcomes of Class VIII students at Purwodadi State Middle School after implementing the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model have seen significant improvements. The average student learning outcome was 83.86 and the percentage of students who completed it reached 92.85%.
