Abstract

Bekasi Regency is one of the industrial areas in West Java. So various kinds of factories produce various kinds of products. With so many factories in Bekasi Regency, it will lead to a higher level of urbanization or population movement from villages to cities in order to earn a living and change their destiny. From the data obtained, from the Bekasi Regency BPS data in 2015 the population was 72,911 people, in 2016 the population was 92,595, in 2017 the population was 95,316, in 2018 the population was 100,714, and in 2019 the population was 103,535. And over time, the need for housing facilities to support their lives in urban areas will increase. And of course, surely the nomads and natives will start building a family and settle in Bekasi Regency. So the need for health facilities will definitely increase, for example, hospitals. In this case, from the data obtained, the number of RSIA facilities in Bekasi Regency is still minimal, especially in Central Cikarang District which does not have any Hospital facilities or Mother and Child Hospital. Therefore, it is necessary to plan for the procurement of RSIA in Central Cikarang District with a behavior architecture approach. This behavior architecture functions as a bridge to change the mood of building users when they are active in it. This concept can be implemented to building elements such as the concept of tread, interior, material and color. By analyzing the behavior, especially the mother and child, it will create an atmosphere of fun play space inside and outside the building so that the healing process can be faster. And the use of open areas as healing gardens in hospitals is also a solution to be applied in Bekasi Regency, if you look at behavioral architecture. With the addition of this green space, in addition to reducing pollution and excessive heat, it can also have an effect on the patient's healing process. Abstract

Physical activity is essential for students' physical fitness, motor development, and learning readiness. However, Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) prioritize academic and religious routines, leaving limited time for structured physical activity. This study aims to describe the condition of physical activity and Physical Education learning in pesantren through a teaching assistance program initiated by university lecturers and pre-service teachers. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation at Pondok Pesantren Daruttaubah, West Java. The subjects included junior and senior high school students, PE teachers, and teaching assistants. The findings reveal that students' physical activity remains suboptimal due to dense schedules and limited facilities. Nevertheless, the teaching assistance program contributed positively by introducing adaptive learning strategies, game-based methods, and simple media that increased student engagement and motivation. Collaboration between universities, pesantren, and PE teachers created a more dynamic and contextual learning environment. This study identifies six priority areas for future research: (1) longitudinal experimental studies to examine causal effects; (2) development of an Islamic-integrated PE curriculum; (3) comparative studies across pesantren typologies (salaf, modern, convergence) and countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Southern Thailand); (4) exploration of psychological and sociocultural barriers; (5) digital transformation of PE in pesantren; and (6) sport policy analysis within the Ministry of Religious Affairs. These agendas are essential to strengthen evidence-based practices and policy advocacy. In conclusion, teaching assistance programs represent a strategic, collaborative model for improving the quality of Physical Education in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Literary works play an important role as a medium for criticism of environmental degradation and human behavior towards nature. This study aims to analyze the ecological dimensions in Tere Liye's novel Pulang Pergi through the lens of literary ecology. Unlike previous studies, this study specifically explores the integration of ecocultural and ethnoecological concepts in action-crime genre narratives. The method used is descriptive qualitative with Cheryll Glotfelty's ecocritical approach. Data was collected through reading and note-taking techniques, then analyzed using dialectical methods to connect the facts in the text with the reality of the global ecosystem. The results show that the novel Pulang Pergi represents ecological imbalance due to the dominance of technology and destructive human ambition, as reflected in the setting of a nuclear reactor exclusion zone and land exploitation. However, the narrative also offers hope through traditional knowledge and ethnoecology as a path to sustainability. These findings confirm that popular literature can be a critical instrument in voicing contemporary environmental issues and building readers' ecological awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the effect of the basic motor learning model based on neuro-motor training on the neural efficiency of elementary school students, and (2) analyze its effect on the motor performance of elementary school students. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (pretest–posttest control group design). The study subjects were 60 elementary school students divided into an experimental group (n = 30) and a control group (n = 30). Data were collected using neural efficiency tests and motor performance tests, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) with pretest scores as covariates. The results showed that the neural efficiency score of the experimental group increased significantly from pretest (M = 62.40; SD = 6.85) to posttest (M = 78.65; SD = 6.12), higher than the control group (M = 6.10). The ANCOVA test showed a significant effect of the learning model on neural efficiency (F = 18.72; p < 0.001; partial η² = 0.25). In addition, the motor performance of students in the experimental group also increased significantly compared to the control group, with the effect size being in the medium to large category. The conclusion of this study shows that the basic movement learning model based on neuro-motor training is effective in improving the neural efficiency and motor performance of elementary school students, and is recommended as a physical education learning approach based on neuroscience and empirical evidence

Abstract

This research uses a systematic literature review method according to PRISMA 21 rules Scopus and Google Scholar databases from 2019 to 2023 are used as data sources. PRISMA guidelines consist of four phases: identification, screening, and data item determination. PRISMA is relevant to this research because PRISMA presents complete and detailed steps for conducting a literature review. Out of a total of 2017 collected articles, only 69 articles met the specified criteria. The inclusion criteria in this research are article publications from 2019 to 2023, publications in journals and proceedings, and articles published in Scopus and Sinta journals. Meanwhile, the exclusion criteria for this research are article publications since the implementation of the independent curriculum in journals and proceedings that have been indexed by Scopus and/or Sinta. All of these articles’ content were analyzed. The research findings show there is a significant increase in research trends about constructivist-based independent curriculum implementation from 2019 to 2023. Qualitative methods dominate, and various scientific disciplines have applied the constructivist approach in independent curricula. Constructivist-based independent curriculum implementation gives a positive impact on achievement, creativity, character, and student learning independence. Based on these findings, this research provides a scientific contribution as a foundation for policymakers to develop similar research by utilizing types of research, educational levels, and fields of study that are rarely explored
