Abstract

The review to be achieved in this study is the first, to analyze the contribution of two-wheeled and four-wheeled motorvehicles to local revenue at the UPT SAMSAT in South Medan 2014-2017, second, to analyze the tax effectiveness of twowheeledand four-wheeled motor vehicles on regional original income at the UPT SAMSAT in South Medan 2014-2017. Thisstudy uses descriptive quantitative methods. Methods of collecting data through library research and documentation. Whilethe data analysis method used is contribution analysis and effectiveness analysis. Based on the results of the study, it canbe concluded that the tax contribution of two-wheeled and four-wheeled motor vehicles to the local revenue in the UPTSAMSAT in South Medan in 2014 - 2017 shows a very good category, with a percentage above 50%. In 2014 its contributionamounted to 80.10% and in 2015 its contribution was 81.51%, in 2016 its contribution was 81.36%, and in 2017 itscontribution was 83.11%. Likewise, the tax effectiveness of two-wheeled and four-wheeled motor vehicles on local revenuein the South Medan Samsat UPT shows fluctuations in 2014 with an effectiveness of 80.54%, in 2015 the effectiveness was92.31%, with the effective category, in 2016 its effectiveness was 80.41%, with the category quite effective, in 2017 itseffectiveness was 97.76%, with the effective category. The Faktor that hinder the service of motorized vehicle taxation in thesouthern field samsat are : means and prasarana, routine coordination, community participation, and the financial conditionofthe community.

Abstract

Learning experiences can be gained by students through a series of activities by exploring the environment through activeinteractive with friends, the environment, and other resources. One of supporting means of learning that can be used toexplore the surrounding environment is with student worksheets (LKS). Increasing student activity is difficult by itselftherefore the role of teachers is indispensable to create a learning situation that is full of student activity of one of them usingLKS. The frequency of use of LKS is high enough in each learning should be balanced with high quality LKS as well.Generally junior high school students in Kota Binjai. The research uses the observation method by collecting data to obtaindescriptive price of Prosentase (DP) on the conformity of LKS content with KTSP and the level of obtaining an index ofactivation (IP) on the instructions of activities, drawings, or diagrams and exercise problems. Data analysis shows LKS 65%,medium category, student Activation index in the activity Directive of 0.03 which is relatively low, because it is in the range of0.40 – 1.50. IP on the image or diagram 1.37 which is classified as being in the range of 0.40 – 1.50. The activation indexof the 1.23 exercise questions is being in the range of 0.40 – 1.50. The cognitive realm is disproportionate, as C1 is moredominant at 40.8%. About the psychomotor domain P2 0.43% and P3 1.3%, no other level was found. The affective realm isnot found because it is difficult to apply affective content to the form of problems. The results of this research are expected tobe concrete information. For students and teachers to pay more attention to the LKS used. Similarly, for the author to paymore attention to aspects that support the quality of LKS such as the conformity of content LKS with the curriculum, the levelof activation of students and levels of exercise problems both cognitive, affective and psychomotor.

Abstract

Ethanol is an alternative energy especially for the fuel needs of the transportation equipment currently being developed. Theuse of ethanol has a positive impact on the side of fuel economy where the research aims to acquire the influence of theaddition of ethanol on the first fuel. Variations of the first fuel are; Mixture of first-etanol5% (E5), 10% (E10) and 15% (E15).Average torque obtained from dynotest results: Pertamax amounted to 13.6 Nm, a 5% first-ethanol (E5) mixture of 13.84Nm, 10% (E10) of 14.1 Nm, and 15% (E15) of 13.31 Nm. The average power obtained by the first was 7.31 kW, a first 5%(E5)-ethanol mixture of 7.47 kW, 10% (E10) of 7.48 kW, and 15% (E15) of 6.9 kW. The average specific fuel consumption(SFC) was obtained at a first of 172958.97 GR/kWh, the first mixture-ethanol 5% (E5) amounted to 165618.42 gr/kWh, 10%(E10) of 166688.92 GR/kWh, and 15% (E15) of 177567.45 GR/kWh. The average thermal efficiency obtained by Pertamaxwas 35.99%, first fuel-ethanol mixture of 5% (E5) of 38.40%, 10% (E10) of 42.42%, and 15% (E15) of 38.88%. (AFR) ratio ofthe average fuel air acquired first was 0.004435, the first fuel-ethanol mixture of 5% (E5) amounted to 0.004393; 10% (E10)of 0.004556; and 15% (E15) by 0.004595.

Abstract

Narcotics are substances or drugs derived from plants or non-plants, both synthetic and semi-synthetic, which can cause adecline or alteration of consciousness, loss of taste, reduce to pain relief, and can cause dependence, which is differentiatedinto groups as attached to the law. The factors that cause children to misuse narcotics are the factors of individuals, famil ies,economies, associations, social cultures, and others. The consequences of narcotics abuse the impact of drug abuse onphysical. Disorders of the nervous system (neurological) such as: seizures, hallucinations, impaired consciousness, nerveedge damage, disorders of the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular). Efforts to prevent the misuse of narcotics give orinfuse early on the meaning of healthy living meanings.

Abstract

Human resources are important assets that have the ability to develop as a determinant of the company's success in thelong term. Having a proven human resource capability, skill, loyal to the company, eager in achieving the goal of thecompany will keep the company able to compete in the era of globalization. Motivation to the employees must becontinuously done, this is intended to be the skills, knowledge, attitude, loyalty, morale and commitment to the companyincreases so that each job will be more easily completed on time and on target so as to improve the performance ofemployees impact is the productivity and profitability of the company will increase. The purpose of the research is to knowthe motivation given by the company impact on the performance of employees of PT. Bank Central Asia Branch GoldenTrade Centre Medan. The research method used is an associative quantitative method. The number of samples as many as30 employees with sampling techniques is a saturated sample. The results of the study stated that strong motivation on theperformance of employees of PT. Bank Central Asia Golden Trade Centre Branch of Medan can be seen in the results ofanalysis of coefficient of determination (R2) of 29.9%. So it can be concluded that the performance of employees ofPT. Bank Central Asia Medan Golden Trade Centre Branch is 29.9% influenced by motivation, while the remaining 70.1% isinfluenced by other factors that are not researched in this study, so it is recommended that the next researcher to be able toresearch using other factors besides the motivation factor to know their impact on employee performance.

Abstract

A budget is a periodic financial plan that covers a company's operational activities within a certain period. Budgeting is theprocess of operating a plan in the form of qualifications, which are usually in monetary form, for a certain period of time. Witha good budget, the company can arrange planning the amount of income desired from the results of its business, the amountof expenses, and profits to be achieved in a period. The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the budgetpreparation at CV. Buana Raya Medan? The purpose of this study is to analyze the preparation of the budget at CV. BuanaRaya Medan. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Data sources used include primarydata and secondary data. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. In this study, researchersused source triangulation. From the results of the analysis of the preparation of the budget on the CV. Buana Raya Medan isknown that in 2012, the company's profit exceeded the target, where the company targeted a profit of Rp. 777,003,156, whilethe company's profit of Rp. 783,212,617. In 2013, the company's profit also exceeded the target, where the companytargeted a profit of Rp. 791,415,915, while the company's profit of Rp. 806,845,903. In 2014, the company's profit was lowerthan the target, where the company targeted a profit of Rp. 1,740,107,783, while the company's profit is only Rp.1,625,985,169. Thus, the preparation of the budget has not been done well on the CV. Buana Raya Medan.

Abstract

This research is aimed at knowing the barriers to implementing communication at PT. Asuransi Buana Independent. In theimplementation of communication also allows the emergence of obstacles. Badrudin (2013) describes these obstacles, suchas semantis barriers, technical barriers, biological barriers, psychological barriers, and ability barriers. In this research,authors use qualitative descriptive research methods. The data collection methods used are structured interviews. The datahas been collected and analyzed through three activities, namely data reduction, data presentation, and the withdrawal ofconclusions. In the withdrawal of conclusions, data credibility is checked first by using source triangulation. Conclusion ofresearch on communication barriers at PT. Asuransi Buana Independent There are four: semantis barriers, technicalbarriers, psychological barriers, and barriers of ability. In the delivery or acceptance of information, there has been amisunderstanding because of the use of words or sentences that are less precise, such as between superiors andsubordinates. The subordinates misresponded to the superiors so they misdone what he was asked to work on.Communication problems due to less good communication tools usually occur in the use of memos and messengers.Subordinates are experiencing obstacles when communicating with superiors because they have to be more cautious inspeaking and also more polite and hesitate. Not all interlocutor have a good ability to respond to messages or informationsubmitted. Error responding to messages more frequently occurs in the use of communication in writing.

Abstract

Formal education is a structured and tiered education pathway which consists of basic education, secondary education, andhigher education. Non-formal education is an education pathway out of formal education that can be implemented in astructured and tiered way. While, informal education is the path of family and environmental education (Law No. 20 of 2003).The formulation of the problem in this study is "Is there any influence on the promotional cost towards the increasing numberof students at Sempoa SIP North Sumatra and Aceh?". The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of promotionalcosts towards the increasing number of students at Sempoa SIP North Sumatra and Aceh. The method used in this study isa quantitative associative method that aims to measure the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. Datacollection is done through documentation studies. From the results of this study note that the independent variable (thepromotional costs) and the dependent variable (the increasing number of students) have a very strong relationship. This canbe seen from the calculation of the correlation coefficient which has a value of r = 0.894. The conclusion of this study isbased on the hypothesis test obtained comparisons of t arithmetic> t table (4.472> 3.364). Thus, the promotional costsincurred by companies with the increasing number of students have a strong and positive relationship.

Abstract

Company gives compensation in the form of salary to its employees so that their employees will feel more enthusiastic inworking. This salary will increase employee work performance in a company. The indicators for compensation are consists ofsalary, wages, bonuses, health insurance and pension funds as well as facilities to support one's career development inworking in a company. The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the compensation given by CV. Jasa SumberAsahan Medan?" The purpose of this study is to analyze the compensation given to its employees by CV. Jasa SumberAsahan Medan. The research methodology used is a qualitative research method in which the data is obtained frominterviews with data sources used are primary data. The informants studied were employees at CV. Jasa Sumber AsahanMedan. The results showed that CV. Jasa Sumber Asahan Medan provides direct compensation in the form of salaries andbonuses. However, salaries received by employees are still below the UMP. While the indirect compensation provided by thecompany is in the form of leave taking for employees who are sick or misfortune.

Abstract

Job performance is the result of work obtained by someone when completing work that is charged to him. work performanceappraisal is a process for evaluating employee work results for their work. The benefits of performance appraisal (workperformance) are: as input for leaders to help and direct employees to improve their performance in the future and to carryout improvements and improvements in human resource management activities. There are two factors that affect workperformance, namely: individual factors consisting of effort (abilities), abilities (abilities), role / task perception, andenvironmental factors consisting of physical conditions, equipment, time, material, education, supervision, organizationaldesign, training, good luck. The informants studied were employees at PT. Indo Prima Nusantara Medan. The researchmethod used is a qualitative method where the data obtained is based on interviews with data sources used are primarydata. The formulation of the problem in this study, "How the Employees' Job Performance at PT. Indo Prima NusantaraMedan? The purpose to be achieved in this study is to analyze and find out the Employee Job Performance at PT. IndoPrima Nusantara Medan. In this study we can see in the background the problem of employee work performance at PT. IndoPrima Nusantara Medan is very low and not in line with company expectations. This happens because employees alwayspostpone work so that the work cannot be completed in accordance with deadlines set by their superiors. From the researchresults obtained by researchers there are several shortcomings of the company for employee work performance. The resultsof these studies can be seen from the results of interviews that can. Therefore, researchers provide some advice in thisstudy for the company with the aim of improving employee performance in the company.
