Abstract

Establishing literacy habits cannot be obtained in one or two days, it takes a habituation that is repeated and consistent. This habituation can start from the child's first social environment, the family. In addition, the school can provide support by being a mediator or facilitator. Therefore, this PKM was carried out with the aim of encouraging literacy habits at home and school, with PAUD Matahari Cipayung as the partners and students and their parents as targets. The PKM activity was carried out for three months, and the results of the activity showed that most parents had a high awareness of the importance of literacy skills for children, besides that there were also significant changes in the interaction patterns of children and parents which were more communicative and interactive. Overall, it can be concluded that this PKM activity is able to achieve the expected target, the creation of literacy habits in early childhood

Abstract

Entrepreneurial development in Indonesia is still limited. The phenomenon in Indonesia is that the majority of high school graduates (61.88%) prefer to be employees rather than being entrepreneurs. In line with this, it is necessary to have entrepreneurship training from an early age to community groups such as orphans. Providing entrepreneurial training for orphanage children because they need to have the skills to train an independent spirit in addition to training financial independence from an early age in children. Based on the above background, a dedication was carried out on Building Financial Independence for Children at LKSA Orphanage Al Hidayah Padang Orphanage through Training for Cultivation of Straw Mushrooms (Volvariella volvacea). Mushrooms can grow on waste media, because fungi are able to degrade organic waste. With this ability, mushrooms can be used to add value to waste. Waste that can be converted into a mushroom growing medium is rice straw, but the straw needs to go through a composting process first. Mushrooms are included in the saprophytic fungus group, namely fungi that grow on organic substrates from dead animals and plants and convert the substrate into substances that are easily absorbed. This service is also expected to increase students' knowledge and knowledge so that they can motivate them to open their own jobs without having to depend on others and also be expected to be an example for others. Besides, it is hoped that with the completion of this service, it can increase the child's care for the environment by being able to utilize the wasted waste and produce something useful.

Abstract

Training of Qasidah Sanggar Seniors Group "Durian Sabatang" Jorong Durian Kamang Mudik Kab. Agam is an activity of community service, which aims to build and develop Islamic life in society based on Islamic values as praised by Allah SWT because it seems that some people abandon the teachings of Islam. This devotion is also based on the lack of knowledge of artists in Qasidah. Methodologically this devotion is qualitative, meaning that the Qasidah activity data obtained on the ground is done through research observations that are useful for knowing, understanding, and studying in depth. So that accurate results are obtained to be given the next training well according to the science, ability and ability of participants. It is then described in writing through words and compiled in a scientific report. Methods used: survey methods, lecture methods, demonstration methods, imitation methods, practice methods, and question and answer methods. The results that have been achieved in the form of reports, and the show uploaded to youtube named emridawati. Specifically, the achievements of this training are, Qasidah players get knowledge and professional playing skills as evidenced through Qasidah performances at Tirtasari Jorong Sonsang attractions, such as: giving birth to a good sound aesthetic, stable tempo, can start and close the show while singing and maintaining cohesiveness in playing together. The show received an audience response to be re-displayed at a later time.

Abstract

The location of Community Service at the foot of Mount Salak is precisely in Sirnagalih Village, RT.1/11, Tamansari District, Bogor Regency. The houses of Sirnagalih Village residents must be able to protect their residents from cold and humid air. Residents of the location as partners provide information about their residents who need to improve the quality of their housing in order to live a healthier life. The criteria for recipients of assistance are elderly residents with housing conditions that can have an unfavorable impact on residents. The result of the redesign is one of the residents' houses as an example for other residents who have similar houses. The Community Service Team offered a solution by redesigning the less suitable residential building into a healthy and simple house using building materials provided by residents independently. The redesign uses a building reliability approach that consists of aspects of safety, health, comfort, and ease of movement. This activity uses several methods according to the activity stage, such as observation, physical measurements of buildings, interviews with partners, architectural design, presentation, and design implementation. The conclusion of the activity is that the result of the redesign has a good impact on partners, the benefits of the principle of mutual cooperation, making healthy homes need not be expensive. Suggestions for this activity are residents who build houses must always use a healthy home approach and always care about the health of their environment.Keywords: healthy house, redesign, elderly, building reliability

Abstract

Daerah pengembangan hasil industry kerajinan unggulan alas kaki terdapat di kota Bukittinggi. Industri kerajinan alas kaki ini memiliki potensi dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi melalui penyerapan tenaga kerja, pemerataan pendapatan dan pengentasan kemiskinan karena industri unggulan daerah dengan produk yaitu sendal Sulaman dan tarompa Datuk. Industry unggulan ini perlu adanya pengelolaan usaha yang baik melalui analisis kelayakan bisnis dan pengelolaan keuangan yang berbasis akuntabilitas. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan ceramah, Tanya jawab dan praktik (simulasi). Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat memberikan informasi kepada kelompok IKM Alas Kaki di Kota Bukittinggi yang sebelumnya menghasilkan produk sandal sulaman dan tarompa datuk tanpa ada memperhitungkan benefit of cost dan break even point serta tidak ada target penjualan dalam satu tahun. Dengan kegiatan ini kami memberikan penyuluhan tentang cara penyusunan target penjualan, penghitungan benefit of cost dan break even point serta memberikan penguatan motivasi untuk tetap bertahan dalam mengembangkan usaha di masa pandemic ini dengan membantu promosi produk melalui jaringan social seperti Whatss App, Instagram dan Facebook.

Abstract

Kompetensi inti merupakan tingkat kemampuan untuk mencapai Standar Kompetensi Lulusan yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik pada setiap tingkat, kelas atau program. Pada hakikatnya kompetensi inti adalah operasional dari Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL) yang mencakup aspek sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Dalam mencapai kompetensi inti diperlukan teknik penilaian yang valid dan reliable. Sehingga pencapaian hasil belajar dapat dilakukan secara maksimal. Teknik penilaian yang valid dan reliable juga mampu mengarahkan siswa dalam mengakomodasi semua potensi yang dimilikinya. Teknik penilaian yang harus dilakukan guru dalam proses evaluasi pembelajaran antara lain lisan, tulis dan penugasan. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat diterapkan dalam teknik penilaian adalah pendekatan kontekstual. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini merupakan kegiatan pembekalan Perancangan Teknik Penilaian Berorientasi Kontekstual dalam pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan  di SMP Pertiwi 2 Padang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam 2 tahap yaitu pemberian materi mengenai Teknik Penilaian Berorientasi Kontekstual dalam pembelajaran serta perancangan Teknik Penilaian Berorientasi Kontekstual dalam pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan  di SMP Pertiwi 2 Padang. Kegiatan ini bermanfaat bagi guru terutama guru Bahasa Inggris untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mereka mengenai bentuk dan Teknik Penilaian Berorientasi Kontekstual dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Online learning is one way to overcome problem in education field during covit 19 out break. Facing this defiance condition, teachers are demanded more creative  in presenting course by adapting learning model which is more interesting and fun. Team of English lecturers of STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat bridge this condition by having devotion to the community. This activity is as an effort to improve teachers’ communication technique especially to young teachers in presenting their course more interesting by applying fillers theory. Young teachers in SMP Nasional as one of private school are encouraged by applying fillers technique which is applied via the teaching video using the kine master application. Fillers used that are effective in class communication and teaching videos are two the most important things put in this program. Young teachers are the main target in this program since team feels that they still have lack of experiences and teaching time. The team hopes the equipped with the various fillers techniques in constructing various teaching video, their video results will be much better  and interesting for students.

Abstract

E-commerce is an abbreviation of electronic commerce which includes the process of buying and selling between sellers and buyers without having to have a physical store. With the existence of technology and information that is increasingly easily accessible via laptops, smart phones or other electronic devices, the online transaction process is easier and more attractive to the public many people. e-commerce can provide product sales solutions without being affected by regional boundaries. The ease of e-commerce that relies on technology and can send goods via expedition is very beneficial for both parties. International or cross-border business expansion can be realized thanks to this e-commerce. The goal to be achieved in carrying out this activity is to provide valuable insight and knowledge for housewives in an effort to increase their household income, by introducing E-commerce and how to use e-commerce to increase household income.Key words: E-Commerce, Housewife, Income

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah dilaksanakan pada 9 Januari 2021 dan dilaksanakan dengan MGMP Kabupaten Solok.Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan alternatif media pembelajaran di era pandemi antara lain dengan memanfaatkan media sosial dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Peserta pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru perwakilan MGMP di Kabupaten Solok. Kegiatan ini dilakukan berdasarkan informasi bahwa sebagian besar guru di MGMP di Kabupaten Solok tersebut belum menggunakan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi dan belum mengetahui secara mendalam tentang penggunaan media sosial dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di era pandemi. Dengan adanya pengabdian ini diharapkan akan memberikan alternatif dan kemudahan sehingga guru tersebut lebih menggunakan media sosial dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan siswa merasa senang serta bersemangat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran yang diberikan. Langkah-langkah kegiatan yang akan dilakukan adalah (1) Tahap persiapan berupa observasi, pemantapan dan lokasi sasaran, dan komunikasi dengan mitra ; (2) Tahap pelaksanaan beruapa paparan materi dan simulasi; dan (3) Tahap evaluasi diberikan secara virtual dengan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan secara zoom kemudian dikomentari oleh pemateri menggunakan Whatapp. Hasil akhir kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa melalui pelatihan yang dilakukan kompetensi guru-guru meningkat dalam menggunakan media sosial dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi pada masyarakat di Korong Sijangek Nagri Sungai Durian antara lain: 1) Rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan, 2) Rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terkait keuntungan dari pemanfaatan pekarangan, dan 3) Rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat tegkait gagasan kreatif dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya sosialisasi peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan sebagai upaya untuk menambah perekonomiaan keluarga. Sosialisasi terlaksana jika ada kerjasama dengan mitra yang ada di korong Sijangek Adapun mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah wali nagari Sungai Durian. Solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk memecahkan permasalahan yang terjadi di Korong Sijangek adalah:1) Melakukan sosialisasi dalam peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan, 2) Melakukan simulasi terkait keuntungan dari pemanfaatan pekarangan, 3) Memberikan pemahaman tentang gagasan kreaktif dalam memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan. Hasil PKM peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan pekarangan adalah:1) Meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan dapat mengartikan, menafsirkan, menerjemahkan, atau menyatakan sesuatu dengan caranya sendiri tentang pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan 2) Meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat terkait keuntungan dari pemanfaatan pekarangan dapat mengurangi pengeluaran untuk konsumsi pangan dan 3) Terciptanya pemahaman masyarakat tegkait gagasan kreatif dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan di Korong Sijangek dapat memunculkan gagasan yang inovatif dalam memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan.
