Abstract

The coal feeder motor is a three-phase induction motor whose speed is regulated by the Variable Speed Drive (VSD). The coal feeder motor functions as a medium for distributing coal fuel to the combustion chamber in the boiler which aims for the combustion process in heating water on the pipe wall (wall tube) which will be used as steam to drive the turbine. Before supplying coal, first pay attention to the amount of coal entering the coal feeder, because it will affect the coal flow and motor performance. The more coal that enters the coal feeder, the greater the coal flow, just as the high speed of the motor will increase the flow of coal entering the furnace. From the research results, the calculation of the change in motor speed to the torque of the coal feeder motor at a speed of 115.2 rpm obtained a torque of 7.88 Nm, at a speed of 144 rpm obtained a torque of 6.68 Nm, at a speed of 230.4 rpm obtained a torque of 5.33 Nm and at a speed of 288 rpm obtained a torque of 4.48 Nm%. at a speed of 115.2 rpm an efficiency of 31.05% was obtained, at a speed of 144 rpm an efficiency of 29.55% was obtained.

Abstract

The increase in the number of requests for IT services provided by the IT Bureau is not accompanied by an increase in user satisfaction of IT services, this is indicated by a decrease in the satisfaction index for IT services by several work units at the BPK. In order to increase user satisfaction with IT services, the Author is interested in conducting research on the Effect of Implementation of Service Standards and Information Systems Policies on User Satisfaction of the Melati Application at the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative method with primary data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to 275 IT service users at the BPK Head Office. The collected data were processed using the Covariance Based - Structural Equation Model (CB-SEM) analysis technique using Smart-PLS software. The results of the study showed that user satisfaction of the MELATI application (Y) was influenced by the implementation of service standard policies (X1) and information systems (X2) by 67.5% and the remaining 32.5% was influenced by other variables not used in this study. The variable of IT service standard policy implementation (X1) has a large and significant effect on user satisfaction of MELATI application in BPK with a path coefficient value of 0.495, t-value of 8.378> t-table 1.96 and p-value of 0.000 <0.05. Information system (X2) has a large and significant effect on user satisfaction of MELATI application in BPK with a path coefficient value of 0.465 or 46.5%, t-value of 8.199> t-table 1.96, and p-value of 0.000 <0.05. Efforts that can be made by the BPK IT Bureau are to improve the implementation of service standard policies and information systems by increasing the quantity of resources, communication, evaluation and updating of IT service standard policies and SOPs and implementing a survey of IT service user satisfaction on the MELATI application.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the Strategy of the Public Works and Public Housing Agency in the Development of Special Mining Transportation Roads from Mining Business Licensing in Jambi Province. The research method uses qualitative descriptive analysis, the study uses a purposive sampling method. Data and information collection, namely observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data validation tests carried out by researchers are by using source triangulation techniques, technical triangulation, and time triangulation. The results of the study show that 1) the long licensing process often hampers implementation. Supervision and feasibility studies exist, but high costs for land acquisition are an obstacle. The involvement of the PUPR Agency in supervision is still lacking, and government support in complex licensing also needs to be improved. To maximize implementation, there needs to be increased socialization of the benefits of special roads, simplification of the licensing process with one-stop service, and a fair compensation scheme for the community. Improving coordination between agencies and holding regular discussion forums is also very important. 2) The challenges in implementing the strategy of building special mining roads by the Public Works and Public Housing Agency in Jambi Province include five indicators: Ability, Strength, Intelligence, Opportunity, and Culture. The most important aspect is the company's ability to find funding for this project, because the Jambi Provincial Government is not involved in funding, so all costs are borne by the private sector. This creates obstacles in the implementation of the construction of special coal roads.

Abstract

Aceh Province is one of the provinces in Indonesia that is based on the implementation of Islamic law and has its own regional regulations called qanun. One of the qanuns in Aceh Province is Aceh Qanun Number 6 of 2014 concerning Jinayat Law. The desired goal of implementing the caning punishment is to reduce cases of violations of Islamic law in Aceh, but in reality violations of Islamic law still continue to occur. Therefore, it is considered important to conduct research related to the effectiveness of the caning punishment in order to provide a deterrent effect in enforcing Islamic law in Banda Aceh City. This study was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of the enforcement of the caning punishment by the Banda Aceh City government in order to provide a deterrent effect in enforcing Islamic law in Banda Aceh City, using Ryass Rasyid's theory on the main tasks of government, and using qualitative research methods with exploratory methods. Data collection techniques through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the discussion in this study are that the enforcement of the caning punishment has not been effective in providing a deterrent effect as seen from 3 (three) aspects, namely security, order, and justice. Inhibiting factors for enforcing caning punishment are 1) Lack of human resources; 2) Lack of budget. The supporting factors are the community who participate in monitoring and reporting to the authorities if there are violations. Efforts made by the government in enforcing caning punishment in order to provide a deterrent effect can be seen from: 1) Cooperating between institutions; 2) Conducting socialization to the community; 3) Consistent with the rules that have been made. The author's suggestions or input to various stakeholders related to the implementation of the qanun jinayat in enforcing Islamic law in Banda Aceh City are as follows: 1) Adding human resources according to agency needs; 2) Increasing the budget; 3) Conducting socialization to the community regarding the understanding of the rules in force in Banda Aceh City.

Abstract

Talent management is basically a model of HR development based on talent. The implementation of talent management at BSKDN, especially UKE-1 Kemendagri, is still faced with several problems. This study aims to determine and analyze the implementation of talent management, obstacles and efforts to improve talent management in supporting the performance of BSKDN Kemendagri (UKE-I). This study was conducted with a qualitative approach that is descriptive in nature with a post-positivist approach design, namely a modification of the positivist approach. The informants in this study numbered 7 people. The results of the study concluded, namely: (1) Analysis of Efforts to Implement Talent Management at BSKDN and Kemendagri still requires improvement. Placement of HR is still not fully in accordance with the principles of optimal talent management. Many HR cannot channel their talents completely because they do not match the job formation they hold, because they are influenced by the procurement of job formation needs that limit employees in showing their talents. (2) Analysis of Inhibiting Factors in the Implementation of Talent Management at BSKDN and Kemendagri, including there is still coercion in the placement of HR that does not match the competencies they have and in the procurement of formations it is sometimes forced and the job formations that are opened do not always match the needs of the work unit. (3) Efforts that need to be made to support the Implementation of Talent Management at the BSKDN Ministry of Home Affairs are to make improvements through the realization of Smart ASN by building employee character that upholds integrity, works professionally, has a spirit of nationalism, and has a global perspective.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of the role of the Liaison Agency as an extension of the Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Government at the central level, especially in establishing coordination between institutions, promoting arts and culture, and implementing protocol functions. Despite its strategic position, these functions have not been running optimally as mandated in Governor Regulation Number 7 of 2021. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the Liaison Agency function and identify the factors that support and inhibit it. This study uses the theory of organizational effectiveness from Gibson et al. (2000) with five main indicators: satisfaction, productivity, efficiency, adaptability, and development. Organizational theory and decentralization theory are also used as conceptual frameworks. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Liaison Agency function of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province is quite effective but still faces a number of structural and operational challenges. On the one hand, there are supporting factors such as a conducive work environment, quite effective coordination between sections, and efforts to utilize technology and continuous training even with a limited budget. However, on the other hand, this success is limited by serious obstacles, including outdated work facilities, the absence of expensive allowances for ASN in Jakarta, an unbalanced workload due to limited human resources, and a promotion and career system that is not yet transparent and performance-based. Budget management is considered quite efficient, but not yet optimal in supporting the achievement of overall activity targets. Thus, although several aspects show positive performance, the overall effectiveness of the organization still requires significant improvements in terms of strengthening human resources, updating facilities, and reforming the career system so that the Liaison Agency function can be carried out optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

Customary forests cannot be separated from the existence of indigenous communities that have settled there since ancient times. The habits that are carried out often become a derivative of traditions that have lasted from time to time. Nowadays, with the reason of development, customary forests are finally opened to build buildings. In the Youtefa Bay Nature Tourism Park (TWA) it has become a conservation area, but it has become a place that receives pressure from development and waste that flows with high frequency. Moreover, indigenous communities who receive gifts of waste from the city and are directly affected in Enggros Village. Thus, the role of the Customary Government and Enggros Indigenous Women is actually very important to maintain the Women's Forest and manage the Women's Forest in Enggros Village, Jayapura City so that it remains sustainable. This study uses Soekanto's role theory which consists of three types, namely: a. Active role; b. Participatory role; c. Passive role. This study uses a qualitative method based on the social constructivism paradigm. In data collection, researchers conducted interviews, observations, and documentation as well as data triangulation regarding the role of the Customary Government in managing mangrove forests in the Women's Forest of Enggros Village. The results of the study show that by using this role theory, it is possible to see the role of Harsori in carrying out its responsibilities in managing customary forests. Then the role of Enggros indigenous women is included in the participatory category, because they provide real contributions to customary forests by consistently maintaining customary forests. However, there are also those who have a passive role in environmental and development problems because they are considered not to provide benefits to them. However, the problem related to undisbursed village funds has become a concern for the community and the local customary council.

Abstract

Three-phase induction motors require a protection system to safeguard them from various electrical threats, such as overvoltage, overload, and short circuits. This study analyzes a protection system used in a plastic seed chopping machine, where a thermal overload relay (TOR) is implemented as an overload protection mechanism. The TOR functions as a load controller to prevent the motor from overheating and burning out during operation. Based on the analysis, the following results were obtained: Premium Efficiency 3-Phase Induction Motor HLS447SR0608 operates with a nominal current of 6.2 A. The appropriate TOR setting is determined by multiplying the nominal current by 120%, resulting in a setting of 7.4 A.Induction Motor Aeef Frame 112m 3 Phase operates at 5.9 A, requiring a TOR setting of 7.08 A. Siemens P21 Plus Efficiency Motor 3 Phase 1LA02864SE41 operates at 4.5 A, with an appropriate TOR setting of 5.4 A. Three Phase Cage Induction Motor ACI-225M-8 operates at 5.5 A, requiring a TOR setting of 6.6 A. These findings demonstrate that using a TOR as a protection component effectively prevents motor damage due to overload, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of three-phase induction motors in plastic seed chopping machines.
