Abstract

Social and emotional learning is motivated by the belief that it is not enough for students to only develop their academic abilities. However, social and emotional aspects must also be developed. Various research results show that social-emotional competence plays an important role in learning and success in one's life. As an educator who is directly related to participants in school, he can see the low learning motivation of students as a result of the lack of implementation of social emotional learning carried out in classroom learning. This study aims to motivate students in learning through emotional social learning. This research uses library/literature research where data is obtained from literature reviews of various relevant journals, book reviews and others. Data after review will be concluded according to the problem being studied. The aim of the research is to provide understanding and knowledge about social emotional learning in learning to be able to increase students' motivation in learning. Data collection was carried out by looking for various literature studies, articles/journals that were relevant to the title of the study under study..

Abstract

Literacy is an important thing in students’ education in school this purpose of this research is to know strategies from teachers to improve the ability of the student to read will be held in SDN Nirmala targeting teachers and students in the fourth class. Qualitative research is showed teachers can improve their reading ability using the strategy and the correct method. Using the strategy of directed reading thinking activity (DRTA) applied by the fourth class teacher with the learning project model, the learning project model can improve the ability of proportion students to read. The obstacle factor in the process of student learning is generally located in the student’s characteristics and the student’s background does not support this since covid 19 pandemic along with learning loss in active learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the expressive speech acts of criticizing in the movie Gila Lu Ndro! and its implication to the learning of anecdote text in class X SMA. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The data source in this research is Gila Lu Ndro! movie. The data in this research are the utterances and their contexts that contain expressive speech acts of criticizing contained in the film Gila Lu Ndro. Data collection techniques in this research are listening, free-flowing and note-taking techniques. From this analysis, three things can be concluded: First, direct criticizing speech acts contained in the movie Gila Lu Ndro! are found as many as 20 utterances with several strategies, namely negative assessment as many as 9 utterances, defamation as many as 8 utterances, expression of opposition as many as 2 utterances, and problem statement as many as 1 utterance. Second, indirect criticizing speech acts contained in the movie Gila Lu Ndro! are found as many as 10 speech acts with several strategies, namely correction as much as 1 speech act, speech act for change 1 speech act, advice for change 3 speech acts, suggestion for change 2 speech acts, request for change 1 speech act, expression of uncertainty 1 speech act, and other instructions 1 speech act. Third, the implication of this research on the learning of anecdote text in class X SMA in KD 3.5 evaluates anecdote text from the aspect of implied meaning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-modules using flipbooks learners understands learning materials, increase student’ interest and learning motivation, then help teachers to be able to innovate in developing teaching materials in digital form like the e-module using a flipbook. this study uses the research and development method with the ADDIE approach. This research was conducted in five stages, namely the stages of needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were VB class at SD Negeri Pajajaran consisting 28 students. The research was conducted in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The results of this study indicate that the e-module using the flipbook that has been developed is very feasible. This is based on the percentage of media experts 97%, linguists experts 97%, material experts 96%, and student responses 92%. Based on this, it can be concluded that e-modules using flipbooks on the theme 9 sub-themes 1 single and mixed objects that are developed are very feasible to use during the learning activity process.

Abstract

This research is motivated by deviations by students that occur in the school environment. Teacher and the school have a certain strategy in dealing with this. This study describes the efforts of teacher and school policies in Strengthening Character Education (PPK) for fifth grade students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. Data analysis in this study was carried out after being in the field. Data analysis uses the opinion of Miles and Huberman. The results of this study are: (1) class V teacher in PPK act as role models, inspirers, motivators, dynamists, and evaluators for students, (2) school policy towards grade V PPK is carried out based on the preparation of school rules, socialization of school rules, and enforcement of school rules (3) PPK in grade V is carried out on the basis of PPK values, namely religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation, and integrity.

Abstract

Di era modern saat ini, mahasiswa dituntut untuk berusaha beradaptasi dengan keadaan saat ini yaitu pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media online yaitu private zoom meeting yang dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam belajar di masa wabah Covid-19 seperti saat itu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media cyber counseling melalui aplikasi zoom pada siswa SMP 34 Medan di masa wabah Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ada dampak negatif terhadap aplikasi zoom ini yaitu siswa kurang memahami materi yang disampaikan guru, tidak percaya diri dengan kemampuannya, tidak mampu mengatur waktu untuk mengerjakan tugas dengan kegiatan lain, siswa merasa jenuh dan bosan karena belajar online di rumah, kurangnya perhatian dan dorongan motivasi belajar dari orang tua, dan kendala sinyal, handphone serta kuota internet.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental adalah suatu kondisi dimana individu terhindar dari gejala-gejala yang dapat mempengaruhi gangguan psikologis seseorang. Kesehatan jiwa sendiri sangat penting dan perlu diperhatikan, karena sangat berdampak pada kelangsungan hidup individu. Kesehatan mental siswa SMA Negri 7 Binjai menjadi perhatian utama di era digital ini. Konseling online telah menjadi cara yang efektif untuk memberikan dukungan psikologis kepada siswa yang membutuhkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan peran media dan teknologi dalam layanan konseling online untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental siswa SMA Negeri 7 Binjai. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMA NEGERI 7 Binjai dapat memahami bagaimana cara mencegah kesehatan mental dan meningkatkan dengan melalui media dan teknologi.

Abstract

Media sosial adalah salah satu inovasi teknologi yang sering digunakan oleh masyarakat saat ini. Berbagai jenis platform media sosial telah banyak beredar dan digunakan di kalangan masyarakat di dunia bahkan di Indonesia. Namun muncul berbagai permasalahan akibat penyalahgunaan teknologi informasi tersebut Pada sisi lain, penggunaan internet yang nyaris tanpa kendali menyebabkan berbagai tindak kejahatan di dunia media sosial seperti perundungan melalui media sosial, hate-speech, penyebaran berita hoax, peredaran judi online, dan masih banyak lainnya. Peran guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam upaya mengatasi dampak negatif Sosial Media ini sangat penting. Tugas guru bimbingan dan konseling, terutama dalam upaya mencegah dampak negatif Sosial Media pada siswa, merupakan salah satu yang penting untuk dilakukan, karena dalam bimbingan dan konseling terdapat tujuan yang terkait dengan aspek pribadi-sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data ataupun survey dan juga pendekatan kualitatif. Metode survey ini digunakan untuk mengumpukan data mengenai bagaimana cara guru BK memanfaatkan media cyber counseling seperti zoom, google meet dan sebagainya agar dapat memberitahu kepada para siswa MTs Zia Salsabila untuk menggunakan sosial media dengan bijak sehingga kasus kejahatan penggunaan sosial media yang telah dipaparkan sebelumnya tidak terulang kembali. Layanan cyber counseling yang dilakukan oleh guru BK MTs Zia Salsabila telah berjalan dengan optimal, hal ini ditandai dengan; perencanaan yang baik, penggunaan media visual dalam penyampaian, serta penerapan metode yang sesuai dengan perkembangan siswa. Hasil dari penanganan guru BK terhadap Studi Kasus kejahatan Sosial media melalui media Cyber Counseling dengan layanan Informasi dan layanan Penguasaan konten ialah dari cara guru BK yang memberikan beberapa layanan seperti layanan informasi bagaimana cara agar seluruh siswa MTS Zia Salsabila tidak melakukan kejahatannya di media sosial karena dalam media sosial bukan hanya orang dewasa yang menggunakannya melainkan anak yang dibawah umur juga sangat umum dalam menggunakan sosial media ini.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low writing skills of students, especially in writing narrative essay writing skills. This research was conducted in class IV SDN 196 Sukarasa, Bandung. The learning model applied is the Project Based Learning model. The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles, where each cycle consists of two meetings. The purpose of this research is to design a narrative essay writing lesson through the application of a project based learning (PJBL) model for fourth grade students at SDN 196 Sukarasa, Bandung City; To determine the increase in project-based learning outcomes (PJBL) can improve the skills of writing narrative essays in grade 4 students at SDN 196 Sukarasa, Bandung City. Research data obtained through observation and assignment. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning model can improve the skills of writing narrative essays to increase, it can be seen from the results of student learning completeness in the pre-cycle or initial test obtained 5 students or 23% who achieved 23% mastery in the pre-cycle before implementing the model learning Project Based Learning (PJBL) increased by 54% to 77% in cycle I with the application of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) learning model and experienced an increase of 12%, namely 89% in cycle II. Of the 22 students, there were 5 students who had not achieved completeness in cycle I and in cycle II it decreased so that all students achieved completeness.

Abstract

The development of interconnected network (internet) technology has led to various new applications, including applications for education. One of the benefits of internet technology in the field of education is as a learning tool, namely learning management system (LMS). The aims of this research namely determine the implementation of school LMS in the continuous professional development of vocational school teachers. Collecting data using a questionnaire with google form, via WhatsApp, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Method research using a quantitative descriptive approach with analysis Structural Equation Modeling approach using Smart Partial Least Square software. The sample in this study were 75 productive teachers in the field of electrical engineering expertise and electronics engineering expertise in 4 SMK N Bandung, namely SMK N 4 Bandung, SMK N 6 Bandung, SMK N 8 Bandung and SMK N PU Bandung. The research results show school support has a positive and significant effect on self-development. Technical support has a positive and insignificant effect on self-development. and Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on teacher self-development. The problems that occur in the implementation of the school LMS can be categorized into 3 factors, namely 1) the school support factor, 2) the technical support factor, and 3) the teacher factor. The implementation of school LMS is very helpful in the self-development of vocational teachers who have the ability to produce graduates in accordance with the demands of the 21st century workforce, namely workers who have 4C skills or abilities, critical thinking and problem solving, creative and innovative, communication, and collaboration
