Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of teachers' understanding of educational psychology on student discipline in elementary schools. Discipline is an important aspect in character building and student learning success, yet various disciplinary behavior problems are still found in the school environment. This study used a literature study method by reviewing journals, books, and scientific articles relevant to educational psychology and student discipline. Data were systematically analyzed to determine the relationship between teacher competence in educational psychology and student disciplinary behavior. The results of the study indicate that teachers' understanding of educational psychology has a significant influence on improving student discipline. Teachers who understand the characteristics of student development are able to manage classes effectively, build positive interpersonal relationships, implement preventive discipline, and create a conducive learning environment. In addition, empathetic communication, positive reinforcement, and collaboration with parents strengthen the implementation of discipline in schools. Conversely, a lack of understanding of educational psychology can lead to weak classroom management and an increase in undisciplined behavior. Therefore, strengthening teacher competence in the field of educational psychology is necessary to build student discipline and support the achievement of educational goals in elementary schools. Abstract

Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning has a strategic role in addressing contemporary student health challenges, such as low levels of physical activity, sedentary behavior, and declining physical fitness. This study aims to examine the role and effectiveness of physical activity-based PJOK learning in improving students’ health conditions through a literature review approach. The research employed a descriptive-analytical literature study by reviewing scientific articles, books, and reports from reputable national and international sources published within the last ten years. Data were collected through systematic searches in academic databases and analyzed by categorizing, synthesizing, and interpreting relevant findings related to physical activity, physical education learning, and student health outcomes. The results of the literature review indicate that physical activity-based PJOK learning contributes positively to improving physical fitness, reducing sedentary behavior, and fostering healthy lifestyle habits among students. Furthermore, PJOK learning that emphasizes active participation supports not only physical development but also students’ awareness and attitudes toward long-term health maintenance. These findings suggest that strengthening physical activity-based PJOK learning is essential as a strategic educational approach to respond to current student health challenges.

Abstract

Students’ etiquette is one of the important aspects of the educational process that can influence the learning climate and teachers’ motivation in teaching. Islamic Religious Education teachers play a strategic role in shaping students’ character; therefore, teacher motivation is essential to ensure that the learning process runs optimally. This study aims to determine the relationship between students’ etiquette and the teaching motivation of Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMP Plus Ja-Alhaq, Bengkulu City. This research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The research population consisted of all ninth-grade students of SMP Plus Ja-Alhaq, totaling 21 students. A saturated sampling technique was applied, in which the entire population was used as the sample. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results of the validity test indicated that all questionnaire items were valid, with calculated r-values greater than the r-table value (0.444). The reliability test yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.978, indicating that the instrument was highly reliable. The Kolmogorov–Smirnov normality test showed a significance value of 0.060 > 0.05, suggesting that the data were normally distributed. The linearity test produced a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant linear relationship. The simple regression analysis resulted in an F-value of 15.409 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Based on the findings, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between students’ etiquette and the teaching motivation of Islamic Religious Education teachers. The better the students’ etiquette particularly in terms of politeness, discipline, and respect toward teachers the higher the teachers’ motivation in carrying out their teaching duties.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Extracurricular Management of Tahfiz Al-Qur'an in Improving Students' Memorizing Achievement", written by Salma Adilah 2120319, Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, State Islamic University (UIN) - Islamic Religious Education Study Program This research is motivated by the extracurricular management of tahfiz Al-Qur'an at SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. In theory, SMP is related to the issue of tahfiz Al-Qur'an in general it is not specifically regulated, usually those involved in the field of tahfiz are children of Islamic boarding schools, religious schools (Mts) and but the reality is that at SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi there is a lot of memorization. A good management process is really needed in the extracurricular activities of tahfiz Al-Qur'an at SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi so that memorization achievement can increase. The focus of this research is related to (planning, organizing, implementing and supervising). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, namely describing a situation or event that occurs in the field. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques use data observation techniques, data and presentation, and conclusions. Data validity uses source triangulation and time triangulation. The informants in this research were the chairman of the core management as the key informant, and the supporting informants were the core administrators of Al-Qur'an tahfiz and students of SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. The objects in this research are students who take part in the extracurricular tahfiz Al-Qur'an. The research results are: first, Planning, the planning function is oriented towards goal-based planning. Second, organizing: 1Division of administrative responsibilities and work using a departmental method based on function. 2) Systems theory is the extra organizing theory that is applied. 3. Choosing and hiring management personnel carry out a deliberation and consensus system (the process of discussing issues together in order to reach a mutual agreement). Third, actuating (implementation), namely 1), leadership style theory, namely supportive theory. 2), the nature and type of leadership used by the missionary type (leadership assignment). 3), memorization method. Fourth, controlling (supervision) uses a type of supervision based on evaluation.

Abstract

This study examines the relevance of the hadith narrated by Al-Hakim concerning the command to safeguard five matters before the arrival of five other matters as a foundational framework for character education and life management in contemporary society. The problem addressed in this research is the declining awareness among individuals, particularly students, in optimizing time, health, youth, wealth, and life as moral and spiritual capital. The purpose of this study is to analyze the conceptual meaning of the hadith and its implications for personal responsibility, ethical development, and educational practice. This research employs a qualitative approach using library research methodology, with data sources consisting of classical hadith compilations, scholarly commentaries, and relevant educational literature. Data were analyzed through descriptive-analytical techniques to interpret the moral messages and contextual relevance of the hadith. The results indicate that the hadith provides a comprehensive ethical framework that encourages proactive behavior, self-discipline, and future-oriented thinking. It emphasizes the importance of utilizing opportunities before they are lost and aligns closely with the goals of character education, particularly in fostering responsibility, gratitude, and awareness of time. The study concludes that this hadith is highly relevant as a moral and educational guideline and can be effectively integrated into educational curricula and character-building programs to strengthen students’ spiritual and social awareness.

Abstract

The transformation of learning in elementary schools has become an important requirement in line with technological developments and changes in student characteristics. Technology-based learning is seen as one strategy to improve the quality of the learning process and outcomes. This study aims to describe and analyze the application of technology-based learning in transforming learning at SDIT Al Qudwah. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out interactively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the application of technology-based learning can encourage more interactive learning transformation, increase student engagement, and help teachers develop innovative learning strategies. In addition, technology-based learning also contributes to strengthening learning management and improving teachers' digital competencies. However, the application of technology-based learning still faces several challenges, such as limited infrastructure and differences in teachers' digital capabilities. This study concludes that technology-based learning plays an important role in transforming elementary school learning and needs to be continuously supported by school policies and teacher competency development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan langkah dalam mengaplikasikan pembelajaram kooperatif learning dengan siswa berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran matematika dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita materi pecahan pada siswa kelas III di SD N TAMBAKREJO 01. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah menggunakan penelitian pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif ,data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara . penelitian ini menggunakan subjek semua siswa kelas IIIB SDN Tambakrejo 01 yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif learning 92 % siswa lebih cepat faham materi pecahan dalam soal cerita. Dengan demikian diharapkan guru mengetahui kemapuan siswa berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of some fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Sri Mulya Jaya in mathematics were the background for this study. This study aimed to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes after participating in contextual learning in mathematics in the fourth grade at SDN 1 Sri Mulya Jaya. This research is classified as Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this research were 28 fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Sri Mulya Jaya. The subject studied was mathematics. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and documents. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study showed an increase in student learning outcomes with a mastery rate of 68% in Cycle I increasing to 89% in Cycle II. In conclusion, the contextual learning model improved the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Sri Mulya Jaya in mathematics, as seen from the 21% increase in learning outcomes

Abstract

The issue of low understanding of the rights and obligations of IV grade elementary school students is the main focus of this study. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning model on the understanding of rights and obligations in the Pancasila Education subject in the IV grade of elementary school. This type of research is quantitative, using a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was IV grade students at SD Negeri 2 Banarjoyo, with samples taken using purposive sampling techniques. Class IV A served as the control class, and class IV B served as the experimental class. The data collection techniques used in this study were tests and non-tests. From hypothesis testing using a simple linear regression test, it was obtained t_hitung = 4,259 with n = 20 for α = 0,05 obtained t_tabel = 2,101, so that t_hitung > t_tabel (4,259 > 2,101). Furthermore, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, it means that the PBL model has an effect on the understanding of rights and obligations, with an effect of 50.2% based on the R Square test. This proves that there is an increase in understanding of the material on rights and obligations in the Pancasila Education subject in IV grade elementary school using the problem-based learning model.

Abstract

Reason and revelation are two main sources of knowledge in Islam that play an important role in shaping religious understanding, scientific development, and Islamic civilization. Revelation is viewed as an absolute truth originating from Allah SWT, while reason is a rational potential granted to humans to understand, interpret, and implement the values of revelation in real life. This study aims to analyze the relationship between reason and revelation in the Islamic perspective and examine their relevance to the development of knowledge and civilization. This research employed a qualitative approach using a literature review method by analyzing books and scientific journal articles relevant to the topic. The results of the study indicate that reason and revelation are not contradictory but complementary. Revelation provides moral and spiritual guidance, while reason functions as an analytical tool to contextualize Islamic teachings so that they remain relevant to the dynamics of modern life. The integration of reason and revelation is essential in developing ethical knowledge grounded in divine values. Keywords: reason, revelation, Islamic perspective
