Abstract

Professional attitude is a fundamental element of the teaching profession that directly affects the quality of learning and the character development of students. This non-empirical article aims to comprehensively examine the targets of teachers’ professional attitudes based on a conceptual literature review of national and international journals published in the last five years (2021–2025). The method employed is a conceptual literature review involving systematic searching, selection, and synthesis of relevant sources. The findings indicate that the targets of professional attitudes include moral and ethical responsibility, commitment to students, continuous professional development, reflective capacity, professional collaboration, and social responsibility in educational contexts. This article emphasizes the importance of systematically integrating professional attitude development into teacher professional courses to ensure that prospective teachers are not only academically competent but also ethically and professionally mature. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar menggunakan Model Problem Based Learning berbantu Media Wordwall Di Kelas III SDN Wonotingal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru selaku observer, peneliti selaku praktisi, dan siswa kelas III sebanyak 34 orang. Hasil penelitian diperoleh persentase hasil belajar aspek pengetahuan peserta didik pada pembelajaran dengan tema 5 cuaca subtema 4 cuaca, musim dan iklim yang diterapkan secara berkelanjutan setiap pembelajarannya di siklus I yaitu 62,52% dengan kualifikasi Kurang Baik (KB), kemudian pada siklus II yaitu 84,95 % dengan kualifikasi Baik (B). Dan pada siklus III yaitu 91,76 % dengan kualifikasi Sangat Baik (SB). Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning berbantu Media Wordwall dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas III SDN Wonotingal.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of smartphone use on the social emotional of children aged 4-5 years at RA Fathurrozak Sihitang Padangsidimpuan. This study specifically focuses on children aged 4-5 years at RA Fathurrozak Sihitang Padangsidimpuan. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the impact of smartphone use on the social emotional of children aged 4-5 years at RA Fathurrozak Sihitang Padangsidimpuan. The main objective of this study is to find the impact of smartphone use on the social emotional of children aged 4-5 years at the school. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method, using observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. The subjects of this study included four children aged 4-5 years and their parents, as well as teachers at RA Fathurrozak Sihitang. The results of the study show that: the impact of smartphone use on the social emotional of children aged 4-5 years at RA Fathurrozak Sihitang Sidimpuan has a significant influence, namely there are negative and positive influences. Where children still often show less interaction with peers and the surrounding environment and difficulty managing emotions. In this case, children also experience increased knowledge through the educational content they view. Researchers stated this based on interviews and observations at the study site. Of the four children, three had poor social-emotional skills because, after using smartphones, they became more withdrawn and unwilling to go out. This occurred because parents did not limit smartphone usage time, leading the children to be more interested in playing with their phones than playing outside. Meanwhile, one child had good social-emotional skills, considered good because the child's social-emotional development met the following indicators: cooperation, willingness to share, two-way communication, and emotional management, including empathy and the ability to play with peers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Al-Qur'an learning in shaping the religious character of students at SD IT Lan Tabur OKU Timur. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analysed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model with data validity maintained through triangulation and member checks. The results showed that Al-Qur'an learning was managed in a planned, integrated, and sustainable manner through synergy between planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. Planning is strategically formulated by integrating academic targets and religious values, learning implementation is carried out adaptively through a variety of methods tailored to the abilities and characteristics of students and supported by teacher role models and a religious school culture, while evaluation is carried out comprehensively covering cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects. The management of Al-Qur'an learning contributes significantly to improving the discipline, obedience, and worship habits of students, so that Al-Qur'an learning functions effectively as a means of shaping religious character in schools.

Abstract

This community service research focuses on the urgency of providing anti-bullying education as a strategic effort to build a positive culture among elementary school students. The phenomenon of bullying, both in verbal, physical, and psychological forms, shows a worrying trend in the school environment and has a serious impact on victims (decreased self-confidence or trauma) and potentially forms a negative culture. The main objective of this activity is to increase students' awareness of the forms and impacts of bullying, instill values of empathy, tolerance, and social responsibility, and create a safe and inclusive learning environment. The activity was carried out at UPT SPF Bawakaraeng 1, targeting 4th and 5th-grade students, using interactive counseling methods (presentations) and mentoring through simulations and educational games. The results show a positive impact, namely an increase in students' understanding of bullying behavior and their ability to identify and apply ways to deal with it, supported by students' active involvement in participatory activities. Evaluation through interactive quizzes indicates that this education is effective not only in increasing knowledge but also in shaping students' positive attitudes towards social interactions. This planned and sustainable anti-bullying education is expected to be the foundation for building a healthy, harmonious school culture that is free from bullying practices. Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in student learning outcomes on the topic of Indonesia's cultural heritage through the implementation of the problem- based learning (PBL) model in Grade IV at SDN Gadog 01, Tamansari Subdistrict, Bogor Regency. This research uses a quantitative method with a quasi- experimental design involving two groups selected through simple random sampling. The analysis techniques used include prerequisite tests such as the normality test, variance homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results showed that the average N-Gain score in the experimental class using the Problem-Based Learning model fell into the high category, while the control class using the Discovery Learning model had a moderate average N-Gain score. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that there are significant differences instudent learning outcomes on the topic of Indonesia'scultural heritage through the implementation of the problem-based learning model in Grade IV at SDN Gadog 01, Tamansari Subdistrict, Bogor Regency.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of Progressive Islam and Progressive Ijtihad through an analysis of Abdullah Saeed’s thought as a contemporary Muslim scholar. The main problem addressed in this research is how Islamic teachings can be interpreted contextually to respond to modern challenges while remaining faithful to the core values of the Qur’an. The purpose of this study is to explore Saeed’s framework of progressive ijtihad and its relevance for developing a dynamic and contextual understanding of Islam. This research employs a qualitative library research method, using primary sources from Abdullah Saeed’s works and secondary sources from relevant scholarly literature. The findings indicate that Abdullah Saeed proposes a contextualist approach to Islamic interpretation that emphasizes ethical values, human rights, and social justice, while considering historical context and contemporary realities. Progressive ijtihad, as conceptualized by Saeed, offers an alternative paradigm for Islamic thought that bridges traditional Islamic scholarship and modern societal needs. This approach contributes significantly to the development of Islamic studies by promoting flexibility, inclusivity, and relevance in interpreting Islamic teachings in the modern era.

Abstract

The teaching profession plays a strategic role in developing human resources and forming national character. Teachers are not only responsible for transferring knowledge but also for instilling values, attitudes, and moral principles in students. This study employs a qualitative approach through library research to examine the teacher code of ethics conceptually and juridically, including its philosophical and legal foundations, implementation, and the four types of teacher protection mandated by Law No. 14 of 2005. The findings indicate that while the code of ethics is crucial for professional dignity, its implementation faces challenges in the digital era, necessitating strong support from professional organizations.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemahaman konsep merupakan salah satu tuntutan kurikulum yang perlu dicapai. Rendahnya pemahaman dan penguasaan konsep-konsep matematika salah satunya disebabkan oleh faktor siswa hanya menghafal konsep bukan dipahami dan metode yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran terkesan kurang menyenangkan bahkan membosankan. Melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Geams Tournaments siswa diharapkan tidak hanya menghafal konsep matematika tetapi betul-betul memahami konsep yang sedang dipelajari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui pencapaian kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa setelah menggunakan kooperatif tipe TGT lebih baik daripada yang menggunakan pembelajaran cara konvensional, 2) mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model kooperatif tipe TGT dan yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional, 3) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT. Data dikumpulkan dari tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa berupa soal uraian dan angket siswa. Angket diberikan kepada seluruh siswa kelas eksperimen dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kelas eksperimen yaitu Pretes-Treatment-Postest sedangkan kelas kontrol yaitu Pretest-Postest. Dari hasil analisis data dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 menunjukan bahwa pencapaian kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan kooperatif tipe TGT lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika dengan kooperatif tipe TGT lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika dengan kooperatif tipe TGT teramasuk kategori sedang, sedangkan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional peningkatannya termasuk kategori rendah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT menunjukan bahwa siswa bersikap positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan kooperatif tipe TGT.

Abstract

Students' learning styles in learning vary, so it is important for teachers to know the learning styles of their students. There are students who feel that mathematics is difficult to understand and understand, and teachers do not know student learning styles. One of the characteristics of learning that is related to the acquisition, processing, and transfer of knowledge is the student's learning style. The purpose of this study is to determine students' learning styles when learning mathematics. Learning style is a very important form of learning. Information related to the characteristics of student learning styles, it is very important for teachers to improve the quality of learning. The research method is qualitative research. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity was carried out through technique and source triangulation. The data analysis technique used consists of data acquisition, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the learning style of grade 1 students at SD Negeri Petompon 02 Semarang in learning mathematics, which showed visual characteristics had visual characteristics, namely students could understand problems by reading, which they themselves could not. The auditory learning style means that students understand better when the teacher reads the questions, knows how to convey information obtained from their work orally. A learning style with kinesthetic characteristics, namely students prefer to solve problems in groups, cannot concentrate on solving problems if they have to sit still for a long time. The results showed that the learning style of grade 1 students at SD Negeri Petompon 02 Semarang was a learning style. visual, auditory, kinesthetic and the most dominant learning style is the kinesthetic learning style.
