Abstract

In science learning there is a theme 3 of healthy food, a sub-theme 1 of how the body processes food. Regarding material during the learning process, teachers still use print-based teaching materials such as thematic books and LKS and the lack of use of learning media in teaching and learning activities that can support the learning process. The purpose of this research and development is to develop animated instructional video media in science content, as well as to produce valid, practical, and effective animated video media. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model which consists of (1) the analysis stage, (2) the design stage, (3) the development stage, then a validation test is carried out by 3 validator with a result of 94.33% (4) the implementation stage, namely practicality tests carried out by practitioners (teachers) and students with a result of 85.86%. After that, a trial of video media with an effectiveness sheet was carried out to get 82% results obtained from the learning outcomes of students, (5) the evaluation stage (evaluation). Based on the ADDIE procedure used in the research above, it can be concluded that the video animation media that has been developed by researchers is suitable for use, because it meets the minimum valid, practical and effective criteria.

Abstract

The achievement of educational goals is inseparable from the success of the learning and teaching process in schools. Until now the homeroom teacher applies conventional methods, namely lectures for learning which results in students being less active. Lack of teacher innovation in the use of learning methods will create uninteresting learning which will make students unable to concentrate and cause understanding of the material to be less than optimal. One of the fun learning methods is ice breaking, through the Problem Basic Learning learning model. The aim of the research is to describe the effectiveness of ice breaking on improving student achievement in class II. This type of quantitative research is experimental in nature, one group pretest and posttest design approach and uses a saturated sampling technique, namely making all members of the population as samples. Test questions are research instruments whose goal is to obtain data on student achievement. The results showed that the pretest average was 74,62 while the posttest average was 88,08 which means that there was an increase in student achievement after the implementation of ice breaking of 13,46. In order to find out the effectiveness of ice breaking, data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon test. The result is a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05 so that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. With these results, ice breaking was effective in increasing class II student achievement at SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang.

Abstract

Humans use language to give and receive information through various types of media, including audio and visual media. In speech events, sentences show the intent and purpose of communicating. The words spoken by a speaker can indicate the intent of the speaker or speakers so that other people can understand them more easily. In every communication process, speech events and speech acts occur. Speech acts are strongly influenced by the context or speech situation. This is due to the fact that the speaker and the interlocutor are talking about the same topic, at a certain time, place and situation, so that both of them can understand well the intended meaning of the conversation. In a situation where someone is speaking, their language skills greatly influence what they are saying. One of the main problems that often occur in communication is the difficulty of expressing the information to be communicated. The term "speech act" or "speech act" is used in pragmatics when speaking and communicating which refers to pragmatics. Speech acts with communicative language are intended so that listeners can understand what is conveyed by speakers. The circumstances surrounding the speech environment help speakers and listeners. In order to avoid misunderstandings about speech, it is very important to study the forms of perlocutionary speech acts. The discussion of this research plan is how to analyze perlocutionary speech acts. The aim of the research is to provide knowledge to the reader about the events of perlocutionary speech acts in the film "Sejuta Sayang Untuknya" by Herwin Novianto. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach to collect literary sources and then conducts research directly into the field by seeing and talking to informants. This ensures that the data collected by the researcher is objective.

Abstract

This study discusses the problems encountered in the use of language and learning Indonesian. Indonesian is often used with many mistakes, especially in the world of education. Students often experience obstacles in understanding and using language properly and correctly. One of the language skills that students are less interested in is reading, due to the lack of awareness of the importance of reading in increasing knowledge. Another problem encountered in learning Indonesian is understanding the meaning of speech and the use of learning media. Understanding the meaning of utterances is often disturbed due to context and indirect disclosure. Meanwhile, the use of deep learning media is still lacking, especially in the use of technology. Many teachers experience obstacles in using learning media, so that student learning motivation becomes low. This study aims to understand the problems associated with language use and learning Indonesian. The results of this study are expected to provide useful insights and recommendations for educators and students in improving Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

The phenomenon of online loan advertising in recent years has become a hot topic of discussion in the community. This cannot be separated from the important role of language as a means of communication. The purpose of this study was to analyze the illocutionary speech acts contained in the online loan advertising video on YouTube entitled “Loans at Adakami are complicated or not?”. This study uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The results of the study found that in the online loan advertising there are 15 words that are illocutionary speech acts, dominated by assertive illocution as much as 9 (60%), expressive illocution as much as 3 (20%), directive illocution as much as 2 (13,33%), and commissive illocution as much as 1 (6,67%). While the directive illocution was not found.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the various learning styles of students in science learning for Class V SD Tambakrejo 01 Semarang. Learning styles that suit students are one of the keys to students' success in learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were fifth grade students at SD Tambakrejo 01 Semarang. The data collection technique used in this study is through the stages of observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of observations made, in the learning process of fifth grade students at SD Tambakrejo 01 there are different characteristics in understanding the material. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in learning styles in students in science learning class V SD Tambakrejo 01 which includes visual learning styles, auditory learning styles, and kinesthetic learning styles.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the analysis in applying wordwall interactive media to thematic learning in grade 3 SDN Wonotingal. This type of research uses a qualitative approach, where this research is as it is and produces descriptive data, the source of this research data is in the form of observation sheets and interviews that have been conducted in schools with grade 3 teachers. The results of this study indicate that using interactive wordwall media can help teachers in preparing material to make it more interesting and easy for students. Apart from that, wordwall interactive media also makes it easy for novice users with all the feature menus that are displayed. In implementing this interactive media there are obstacles faced, namely there are inadequate facilities and infrastructure, lack of mastery of teachers who do not master this interactive media technology, and there are students who do not yet have awareness of the importance of paying attention to the teacher when giving subject matter so that they can interfere with the learning process. learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the positive effect of the use of puzzle learning media in improving student learning outcomes in class IV lessons IPAS at SDN Rejosari 01 Semarang. This research is quantitative. The research method used is a Pre-Experimental Design type of One-Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The sample in this study amounted to 25 people. The instruments used in this study were tests and documentation. The results of this research classically show that the average post-test score of students increases after using the puzzle learning media compared to the average pre-test score. The data analysis technique used is pared samples t-test analysis with the help of the SPSS program version 22.0. The results of the study showed sig = 0.000 ≤ 0.05, so it was said that there was a significant difference between the results of the pre-test and post-test. In addition, the N-Gain test shows that a percentage of 0.66 is included in the quite effective category. So that this proves that the use of puzzle learning media influences improving student learning outcomes in learning IPAS materials for class IV SDN Rejosari 01 Semarang.

Abstract

Improved Learning Activities using ModelsProblem Based Learning (PBL) in Pancasila Education Lessons in Class IV SDN 29 Ganting. This study aims to describe the increase in student learning activities by using modelsProblem Based Learning in Pancasila Education in Class IV SDN 29 Ganting. This research is a classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were 23 class IV students at SDN 29 Ganting. The results of writing this article show that the application of the Learning modelProblem Based Learning (PBL) can improve student learning activities are as follows: Increased learning activities with an average value of 75%, 85.7%, and 92.8%. Thus the application of learning modelsProblem Based Learning (PBL) can improve Pancasila Education learning activities in class IV SDN 29 Ganting.

Abstract

Education is the process of changing the attitudes and behavior of a person or group in an effort to mature humans. The problem in this study is the low student learning outcomes due to the lack of media. The aim of this research is to produce valid, practical and effective vidio capCut. This study uses the type of research and development (research and development). The ADDIE development model has five stages, namely: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The type of data taken from video development using the CapCut application uses qualitative and quantitative data. The instruments used in this study, video capcut validation, video capcut practicality instruments, video capcut effectiveness instruments. data collection techniques used, namely, observation, interviews and documentation Analysis of data in research using analysis of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The results of this study are validation, practicality and effectiveness, so the following results can be obtained: The validity of the video capcut which is assessed by the validator, totaling 3 people, obtains a percentage of 93.33% in the very valid category, the video capcut is feasible to use and in accordance with the provisions of SDN 21VI Rantau difficult. in the very practical category, so based on this analysis it was concluded that the video using the CapCut application was very practical. Furthermore, the effectiveness assessed from the results of the ability test in social studies learning material caring for living things in grade IV SD obtained a percentage of 87.05% in the very Practicality is assessed from the teacher response questionnaire and student response questionnaire. The teacher response questionnaire was 100% in the very practical category, the student response questionnaire was 90.06%
