Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of price changes on sales volume among grocery traders. Price changes are one of the important factors that can influence consumer purchasing decisions and the number of products sold in trading activities. This research uses a quantitative approach with a library research method. The data used are secondary data obtained from various literature sources such as scientific journals, reference books, and previous studies relevant to the research topic. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation studies by reviewing various scientific articles obtained from the Google Scholar database. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques to identify and interpret the relationship between price changes and sales volume. The results of the study indicate that price changes have a significant effect on sales volume among grocery traders. Price increases tend to reduce consumers’ purchasing power, which results in a decrease in sales volume, while price reductions can increase consumer buying interest, which ultimately leads to higher sales volume. Therefore, grocery traders need to consider appropriate pricing strategies in order to maintain customers and increase sales volume amid market price fluctuations.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman konsep matematis siswa berdasarkan teori APOS melalui soal open ended pada materi bangun datar berbasis daring. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV A SDN Lembursitu Kota Sukabumi yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi dan wawancara berbasis daring yang dilakukan secara mendalam kepada walikelas IV A dan 6 subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari 2 subjek berkemampuan tinggi, 2 subjek berkemampuan sedang, dan 2 subjek berkemampuan rendah. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh bahwa tingkat pemahaman konsep matematis siswa berada pada tingkat yang berbeda. Siswa belum mampu menggunakan konsep matematika dengan baik dalam menyelesaikan masalah berkaitan dengan soal open ended. Selain itu, siswa cenderung belum mampu menyajikan alternatif jawaban yang lain dari permasalahan yang diberikan. Maka dari itu, Teori APOS digunakan untuk mengukur sejauh mana pencapaian konsepsi siswa terhadap matematika pada materi bangun datar ditinjau dari rangkaian aksi, proses, objek, dan skema. Abstract

The progress of science and technology has an impact on various things in human life, one of which has an impact on the world of education. Education in the 21st century has taken advantage of existing technological advances by utilizing interactive learning media and in accordance with student characteristics. Today's students are students who are technologically literate and very familiar with the digital world. Therefore learning media must be interesting, fun and in accordance with the characteristics of students to increase student interest in learning. One of them is by utilizing educational game media in learning. Math Playground is one of the online math games that contains self-evaluation and feedback which can be accessed on the website mathplayground.com which is a free educational game site. This study aims to determine the benefits of Math Playground as a game-based learning medium for learning mathematics in elementary schools. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study were grade 1 students at SD Negeri Petompon 02 Semarang. Sources of data obtained from interviews and observations. The results of this study show that Math Playground has the potential to have a positive impact as an educational game-based learning medium in learning mathematics in elementary schools.

Abstract

The agricultural sector plays an important role in supporting the national economy and serves as a primary source of livelihood for most Indonesian communities, particularly micro-scale entrepreneurs. However, micro enterprises in the agricultural sector still face various challenges in managing production activities, especially in controlling production costs which significantly affect business efficiency. This study aims to analyze the implications of production cost theory on the efficiency of micro enterprises in the agricultural sector. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature study method by utilizing secondary data sources from national scientific journals, economics textbooks, and relevant research findings. The results indicate that production costs in agricultural micro enterprises are dominated by variable costs such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and labor. Inefficient management of production factors can lead to cost inefficiencies that ultimately reduce business efficiency. The application of production cost theory can help entrepreneurs identify cost structures, determine the most efficient combination of production inputs, and improve business productivity. Therefore, a proper understanding of production cost theory can serve as an essential basis for improving the efficiency of micro enterprises in the agricultural sector, thereby increasing entrepreneurs' income and supporting the sustainability of agricultural business activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of discounts and promotions on purchasing decisions among young consumers. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method by reviewing various scientific literature such as books, academic journals, and previous studies relevant to the topic. The data used are secondary data obtained from academic sources discussing marketing strategies, consumer behavior, and purchasing decision factors. The results show that discounts positively influence purchasing decisions by increasing perceived value and attracting consumer attention through lower prices. Promotions also have a significant role as marketing communication tools that enhance consumer awareness and build brand image. Furthermore, the combination of discounts and promotions is more effective in increasing product attractiveness and encouraging purchasing decisions among young consumers. As digital consumers, young people are highly responsive to marketing strategies that offer economic benefits and engaging shopping experiences. Therefore, integrating discounts and promotions is an effective strategy to improve purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Gorga motif card media on students’ ability to calculate place value in grade II of SD Negeri 060910 Medan. This research used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 56 students divided into experimental and control classes. Data were collected using tests and analyzed with an independent sample t-test. The results showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.016 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect of the use of Gorga motif card media on students’ ability to calculate place value. In addition, the use of culture-based media makes learning more meaningful and improves students’ understanding. Thus, the Gorga motif card media is effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive study examines how reading difficulties influence self‑confidence in classroom communication among children aged 6–12 in Desa Lau Dendang. Using purposive sampling (n = 12), data were collected through classroom observation, semi‑structured interviews with students and teachers, and documentation of reading activities. Thematic analysis identified three main themes: reduced oral participation, reading anxiety manifesting as avoidance behaviors, and the mitigating role of teacher and parental support. Practical recommendations include targeted remedial reading, structured speaking opportunities, and family‑school collaboration to strengthen both literacy and communicative confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to describe speaking skills through group discussions of class III students at SD Negeri Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang and describe the factors that influence the speaking skills of class IIIC students at SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang for the academic year 2022/2023. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted in class IIIC at SDN Sendnagmulyo 02 Semarang, Tembalang District, Semarang City for the 2022/2023 school year because the consideration that the school had problems related to the speaking skills of class IIIC students and the teacher's lack of attention to speaking skills. Data analysis is carried out after collecting data according to the objectives to be achieved. This data collection uses an interview guideline instrument and an observation sheet in the form of an assessment rubric. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that the results of observing speaking skills through the group discussion method of class IIIC students at SD Negeri Sendnagmulyo 02 Semarang were successful. A description of the factors that influence speaking skills through the group discussion method of class IIIC students at SD Negeri Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include the intensity of the use of the local language, family factors, and individual or student factors. External factors include environmental factors, teacher factors, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Language is one of the most fundamental elements of culture in shaping and transmitting the identity of a nation. This article examines the role of the Indonesian language as a cultural bridge for foreign speakers in the process of recognizing and understanding Indonesian identity amid the increasingly rapid currents of globalization. Using a sociolinguistic and cultural studies approach, this article analyzes how the mastery of Indonesian by foreign speakers does not merely function as a tool of communication, but also as a medium for understanding the values, social norms, local wisdom, and cultural diversity that characterize the Indonesian nation. The findings indicate that foreign speakers who learn Indonesian undergo a profound process of cultural identity negotiation, while simultaneously contributing to the dissemination of Indonesia's image on the international stage. This article also discusses the challenges and opportunities encountered in learning Indonesian as a foreign language, as well as its implications for cultural diplomacy and the strengthening of Indonesia's position in global forums.
