Abstract

Students' socially conscious character has begun to decline, as seen from their indifference to the environment, reluctance to help friends, frequent conflicts between students, and lack of communication with teachers. The purpose of this study is to determine the importance of teachers' roles in shaping students' socially conscious character in elementary schools through the Child-Friendly School Program. This research method uses qualitative research with a case study approach. This study used three stages of data collection, namely through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teachers' efforts in instilling socially conscious character are very significant. Teachers play a role as educators who provide role models, as instructors who design effective learning, as trainers through practical activities such as mutual cooperation, and as motivators who foster noble morals and caring. The implementation of Child-Friendly Schools is seen from a conducive learning environment, the application of the principles of equality, balance, freedom, and solidarity, and the involvement of students in various activities supported by adequate infrastructure. However, its implementation still faces obstacles such as limited teacher competence, lack of student focus, and the influence of the environment outside the school, so that continuous strengthening and collaboration are needed for more optimal results.

Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research is to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD N Karangrejo 02 Semarang by applying the Problem Based Learning model. The subjects of this class action research were fourth grade students. This research was conducted for two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The independent variable of this research is the Problem Based Learning model, while the dependent variable is the students' cognitive learning outcomes. Data collection techniques in this study were observation and tests. Observations were made to observe the learning process carried out by students, while tests were carried out to measure the ability of students to participate in learning. The data were analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in cycle I and cycle II, with a classical completeness percentage of 75% in cycle I and experiencing increased to 91.6% in cycle II. The increase in learning outcomes is caused by the application of the Problem Based Learning model which encourages students to think critically and solve problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) sebagai faktor penentu utama keberhasilan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar yang seringkali menghadapi tantangan dalam objektivitas rekrutmen dan kontinuitas pengembangan profesional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan audit komprehensif terhadap praktik rekrutmen, pengembangan, supervisi, evaluasi, dan implementasi etika profesi guru di SD Negeri 46 Madello. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumen, dan angket terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, serta staf. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik manajemen SDM telah berjalan dengan kategori baik, di mana proses rekrutmen dilakukan secara transparan dan supervisi dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan reflektif-dialogis. Temuan ini menyiratkan bahwa integrasi antara sistem evaluasi yang adil dan program pengembangan yang relevan menjadi kunci mutu pendidikan. Kebaruan dari penelitian ini terletak pada model audit manajemen SDM di sekolah dasar yang mengintegrasikan aspek klinis dalam supervisi dan penegakan etika sebagai budaya sekolah. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memberikan model praktik baik (best practice) bagi tata kelola tenaga kependidikan di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menjelaskan konsep dakwah Muhammadiyah, menjelaskan strategi dakwah yang digunakan, dan menganalisis tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan dakwah di era modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan. Data diperoleh melalui penelusuran dan analisis terhadap berbagai sumber tertulis, seperti buku, artikel jurnal ilmiah, dokumen resmi Muhammadiyah, serta literatur yang relevan dengan kajian dakwah Islam dan gerakan sosial keagamaan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif-analitis dengan menelaah konsep, prinsip, dan praktik dakwah Muhammadiyah sebagaimana tercermin dalam berbagai sumber pustaka. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa dakwah Muhammadiyah berlandaskan pada Al-Qur’an dan Sunnah dengan pendekatan tajdid atau pembaruan. Dakwah dipahami sebagai upaya menyebarluaskan ajaran Islam yang murni sekaligus mendorong kemajuan umat dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Dalam pelaksanaannya, dakwah Muhammadiyah menghadapi berbagai tantangan, antara lain derasnya arus globalisasi, pluralitas pemikiran keagamaan, serta perubahan pola komunikasi masyarakat. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of reading comprehension ability and reading interest on Indonesian language learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Sampoja. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consisted of all fourth-grade students, with a total sample of 30 students selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a reading comprehension test, a reading interest questionnaire, and an Indonesian language achievement test. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, normality tests, Pearson correlation analysis, simple regression, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed a strong and significant positive correlation between reading comprehension ability and Indonesian language learning outcomes (r = 0.913, p < 0.01). Reading interest also had a positive and significant correlation with learning outcomes (r = 0.767, p < 0.05). Furthermore, reading comprehension ability and reading interest simultaneously had a significant effect on Indonesian language learning outcomes, with a determination coefficient of 84.3%. These findings indicate that improving students’ reading comprehension ability, supported by strong reading interest, plays a crucial role in enhancing Indonesian language learning outcomes at the elementary school level. Abstract

The background of this research is that teacher-centered learning still relies on lecture and practical methods, conducted exclusively in the classroom and without laboratory facilities. This results in students becoming bored and tired during the learning process. This study aims to explore the impact of the use of audio-visual media on the learning achievement of 10th-grade students in Informatics at SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir. This study employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, involving two sample groups: the experimental group and the control group. The sample consisted of 50 students, consisting of 25 in the control group (X1) and 25 in the experimental group (X2). The experimental group received audio-visual media, while the control group implemented traditional methods using textbooks and a whiteboard. The measurement instrument in this study was a learning test consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions that had been tested for validity (15 questions were declared valid) and reliability (r = 0.769, high category). Based on the research results, the average score of the experimental class was 75.72 with a standard deviation of 10.64, while the average score of the control class was 62.44 with a standard deviation of 10.46. The normality test using Liliefors showed that the calculated L value exceeded the t-table (α = 0.05), thus H_0 was rejected and H_1 was accepted. It can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media has a positive and significant impact on student learning achievement in Informatics.

Abstract

To produce quality learning, good management is needed that can support the achievement of educational goals. In management at school, the principal has an important role. The principal serves as a motivator and supervisor of teachers so that they are able to modify the learning that is carried out at school. One of them is the use of technology as a learning medium that is able to facilitate teachers in teaching and provides opportunities for students to be creative according to their imagination. This research is to explore the use of Canva as a learning medium in elementary schools and to discuss the benefits and potential of using Canva in the learning process. The research was conducted using a descriptive descriptive approach with the results of the research namely obtaining information that the supporting factors in implementing Canva as a learning medium include: 1) Infrastructure that supports the presence of a number of chromebooks in schools. 2) Students have a high curiosity and passion for learning. 3) The Canva app is easy to use on PC and mobile devices. 4) Videos for learning can be seen repeatedly. Implementation of Canva as a learning medium in elementary schools has a positive impact on students, including students being able to understand material easily, students are more enthusiastic about learning, and being able to train students to be confident by presenting material through learning media .

Abstract

This research report aims to evaluate the effectiveness of student management at UPT SDN 24 Kalibone, which includes the New Student Admissions (PPDB) policy, Guidance and Counseling (BK) services, psychopedagogic-based character building, school security systems, and collaboration with parents. Student management at the elementary level has a crucial role not only in administrative aspects, but also as an instrument for developing the potential and character formation of children aged 7-12 years. Data collection methods were carried out through field observations, in-depth interviews with the Principal and Teachers, and the distribution of questionnaires via Google Form to teachers and parents of students. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and evaluatively to capture the gap between Educational management theory and practice in the field. The Evaluation Results show that; The implementation of PPDB has been running objectively and transparently through the zoning system, but support for Inclusive Education is still hampered by the availability of Special Guidance Teachers (GPK). Services at the school are still reactive and are carried out concurrently by class teachers due to the lack of specialist staff, so that the psychopedagogical approach has not been formally integrated into learning. Character building has been successful at the routine habituation stage (such as the 5S culture), but still requires improvement in risk mitigation at home time and monitoring of digital bullying. Collaboration with parents remains transactional and administrative and has not yet optimally synchronized moral standards between home and school. This report recommends the need for a transformation of school policies focused on strengthening inclusive services, implementing a reward-based positive discipline system, and innovations to build synergy between moral and holistic education.

Abstract

Celebrity worship refers to an excessive psychological attachment to celebrity figures, while fantasy proneness describes an individual’s tendency to become deeply absorbed in imagination. The rapid growth of K-Pop fan communities, or “fandoms” has intensified parasocial interactions with idols, which may influences fans’ fantasy tendencies. This study used a quantitative correlational approach with purposive sampling. Participants were 321 K-Pop fans aged 18 to 25 who were active university students (259 females and 62 males). The Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS) and the Creative Experiences Questionnaire (CEQ) were used to measure the variables. Spearman’s rho analysis showed a correlation coefficient of r = 0.581 with p = 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a positive and significant relationship between celebrity worship are associated with hugher levels of fantasy proneness. These findings suggest that strong attachment to celebrities may increase individuals’ tendency to engage in fantasy. Theoretically, the results strengthen the understanding of how parasocial relationship influence cognitive processes.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the need for engaging and interactive digital mathematics learning media to support the learning process of first grade elementary school students, particularly in data analysis topics. The study aimed to examine the validity and practicality of Canva- and Genially-based mathematics learning media developed using Bruner’s Learning Theory. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, and first grade elementary school students. Data were collected using expert validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the learning media achieved an average validity score of 92.56%, categorized as very valid, and a practicality score of 90.43%, categorized as very practical. These findings indicate that the developed media is feasible and can help support contextual, visual, and interactive mathematics learning. The implication of this study is the availability of digital learning media that facilitates teachers and students in the implementation of data analysis learning in elementary schools.
