Abstract

Learning about novels is an important lesson that must be mastered by students. However, in reality, students find it difficult to analyze novels because of a lack of understanding of the material. One of the reasons is the selection of Indonesian language teaching materials that are less attractive. Therefore, the author researched the linguistic rules of the novel so that it can be used as alternative teaching material. This study aims to analyze the linguistic rules in the novel Sesuap Rasa by Catz Link Tristan as a choice of Indonesian language teaching materials for class XII. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques, namely documentation, and literature study. The author uses data sources in the form of 61.53% of the number of pages in the novel. The results of the analysis show that 61.53% of the number of pages in the novel Sesuap Rasa by Catz Link Tristan contains 6 novel linguistic rules consisting of 471 adverbs of time, 1122 personal pronouns, 591 material verbs, 470 mental verbs, 517 adjectives. , and 979 dialogues. Based on the results of the study, the linguistic rules of the novel that have been analyzed can be used as teaching materials by the demands of the 2013 Curriculum. The results of the validation of Indonesian class XII teaching materials in the form of modules obtained an overall average score of 4.61 with a percentage of 92.2% included in the "Very Good" category.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah, kendala pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Skeolah dan juga Upaya mengatasi kendala pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah yang ada di SD Negeri Duren Kecamatan Sumowono Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, prosedur pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SD Negeri Duren telah berjalan dengan baik. Tiga tahapan literasi sekolah yaitu tahap pembiasaan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap pembelajaran telah terpenuhi salah satunya dengan kegiatan membaca 15 menit sebelum pembelajaran. Adapun dengan presentase 75% pada pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah, kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah dengan presentase 39% dan upaya mengatasi kendala pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah 83%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SD Negeri Duren berjalan dengan persentase yang tingg dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a pain in women when menstruating, it starts when they first experience menstruation and then it will increase in general aged 15-17 years and reach a peak in general aged 20-24 years after that will continue to decline. This is very disturbing daily activities even for many teenage women do not go to school when experiencing menstrual pain, the cause is due to uterine muscle contractions. The uterine muscle contraction is triggered by the hormone prostaglandin, which levels will increase before menstruation begins. This is what causes the appearance of pain and cramps before or during menstruation. The author of the article aims to determine the effect of consumption of fatty acids (omega-3s) on dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the WhatsApp Group Application as a Distance Learning Media for Class IV Students at SDN Kencana Indah II, the obstacles that occur in the use of the WhatsApp Group Application as a Distance Learning Media for Class IV Students at SDN Kencana Indah II and the solutions implemented to overcome these obstacles. This study uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. In this study, the subjects were Teachers, Students, and Parents of Class IV Students. The research data was collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that teachers have used the WhatsApp Group application as a learning medium in supporting distance learning activities by utilizing various available features such as photo, video, document, telephone, and video call features. The ease is felt by the presence of the WhatsApp Group feature and also its easy use and can be used by various groups in teaching and learning activities, this is supported by the results of a questionnaire which states that 55% of respondents strongly agree with the ease of use of the WhatsApp Group application as a learning medium and 39% of respondents thers agree with the statement. Then in the implementation of the use of WhatsApp Group as a distance learning medium, there are several obstacles, such as signal interference, full cellphone memory, lack of interaction, difficulty knowing the seriousness of students' learning, lack of student motivation to learn, online learning support facilities, and difficulty understanding the material provided, as well as in this study describe the solutions carried out to overcome the obstacles that occur from the use of the WhatsApp Group application as a distance learning medium.

Abstract

The research aims to describe the causes of sentence writing errors in the persuasive text of class VIII SMP Negeri 40 Bandung, examine various forms of sentence writing errors, and attempt to make solutions to reduce sentence writing errors in persuasive texts by class VIII students of SMP Negeri 40 Bandung. The research data analysis technique uses the theory of Miles and Huberman in Sugiyono. The research method uses a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the research, it was found 76 sentence writing errors which included 2 unsubjected sentence errors, 5 unsubjected sentence errors, 16 unsubjected and unpredicated sentence errors, 12 subject doubling errors, 1 error between the predicate and the inserted object, 11 sentence errors that illogical, 9 errors in ambiguous sentences, 1 error in omission of conjunctions, 12 errors in the use of excessive conjunctions, 4 errors in the use of foreign terms, 3 errors in the use of unnecessary question words. Based on the results of interviewing one of the Indonesian language teachers at SMP Negeri 40 Bandung, it was concluded that the cause of errors in writing sentences in the persuasive text of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 40 Bandung, namely students did not understand the material and did not carry out an assessment or examination of the writing of sentences in student work. The solution to reduce sentence writing errors in persuasive texts by class VIII students of SMP Negeri 40 Bandung is to make interesting learning videos and carry out in depth assessments or examinations of sentence writing in students works.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berisi hasil analisis moralitas tokoh pada kumpulan cerita rakyat Si Kabayan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar menyampaikan pesan dalam buku fiksi di SMA. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil analisis yang berhubungan dengan masalah moralitas tokoh, pesan yang terkandung dari hasil analisis tersebut serta kegunaannya sebagai bahan ajar yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh peserta didik kelas XI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif sehinggga peneliti dapat menggambarkan penelitian secara jelas, sistematis dan utuh. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu kumpulan cerita rakyat Si Kabayan karya Achdiat K. Mihardja. Prosedur pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, triangulasi teknik dan analisis data. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini (1) Terdapat 4 data hasil analisis dari 3 judul cerita rakyat yang dipilih. Penelitian ini menunjukkan moralitas heteronom sebanyak 2 data dan moralitas otonom sebanyak 2 data. (2) Dari hasil analisis diperoleh 4 pesan yang terkandung dalam setiap judul cerita rakyat. Deskripsi pesan yang disampaikan peneliti berbentuk amanat yang sifatnya tersurat dan juga tersirat. (3) Data hasil analisis moralitas tokoh pada kumpulan cerita rakyat Si Kabayan karya Achdiat K. Mihardja dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan ajar Bahasa Indonesia karena memuat KD. 3.11 menganalisis pesan pada buku fiksi yang dibaca.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the implementation of campus teaching in instilling reading and writing literacy. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students, fifth grade homeroom teachers and university students teaching. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. The results showed that the implementation of campus teaching in instilling literacy in reading and writing, namely reading fifteen minutes before learning began, daily reading journals and graphic organizers were effective to help students practice literacy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of parents in students' learning motivation in grade IV SD Negeri 004 Pelalawan and to find out whether parents' barriers to student motivation in grade IV SD Negeri 004 Pelalawan. This type of qualitative research uses data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data in the study was carried out by triangulation of techniques, sources, and time. The source of this research is the parents of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 004 Pelalawan. The results of this study indicate that parents play a role in motivating students' learning in class IV SD Negeri 004 Pelalawan with all the difficulties that do not prevent parents from giving the best for their children, including parents play a role in students as educators, motivators, facilitators and mentors. The obstacles that researchers can encounter in the field are limitations on the lack of knowledge from parents and the difficulty of the parents' economy to meet all student learning facilities.

Abstract

The background that drives this research is the low student learning outcomes. This is because teachers still use conventional methods such as lectures and in learning rarely use media, this causes students to be less active in participating in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model Aided by Audio Visual Media and Concrete Objects on Student Learning Outcomes Theme 6 Heat and its Transfer Subtheme 3 Effect of Heat on Life for Grade 5 Students at SDN 6 Bangsri. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of Pre-Experimental Designs with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The samples taken were 28 fifth grade students of SDN 6 Bangsri using the Nonprobability Sampling technique. The data in this study were obtained through tests, observations, interviews and documentation. The results of the study after receiving treatment showed an increase in student learning outcomes which can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest. The pretest was 57,14286 and the posttest average value was 78,85714. The initial learning mastery was 25% to 91%, so the learning mastery increased. This is evidenced by the obtained tcount of Pretest equal to, tcount = 7.5474 and to find out ttable with a significant t value of 5% obtained ttable of 1.701. So the value of tcount > ttable which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis terutama menulis cerita fantasi merupakan bagian dari sarana keterampilan berbahasa, namun permasalahan yang telah ditemukan di kelas VII SMP Indonesia Raya Bandung yaitu siswa tidak dapat mengasah kemampuan menulis sehingga kesulitan dalam menulis cerita fantasi murni hasil sendiri. Maka dari itu, dilakukanlah penelitian dengan menerapkan model transformatif. Sampel data kelas VII sebanyak 29 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 29 siswa kelas kontrol. Data diolah dengan SPSS-25, menggunakan rancangan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan model Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan uji normalitas tidak berdistribusi normal, maka uji hipotesis dapat ditentukan dengan statistik inferensial jenis nonparametrik. Pada uji homogenitas data siswa kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas kontrol bersifat sama atau disebut homogen. Uji Wilcoxon membuktikan bahwa terdapat peningkatan terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita fantasi setelah menggunakan model transformatif. selain itu, berdasarkan uji mann whitney menghasilkan nilai 0,045<0,05 sehingga Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis ceita fantasi pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Dengan kata lain model transformatif terbukti efektif digunakan sebagai model pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita fantasi.
