Abstract

Islamic education is a process of forming a complete human being based on values and ethics as its philosophical foundation. However, the development of modern educational management theory, which is oriented toward instrumental rationality, efficiency, and performance achievement, often raises axiological problems when applied in the context of Islamic education. This article aims to conceptually analyze the relationship between values, ethics, and the objectives of Islamic education from an axiological perspective, as well as its implications for the development of educational management theory. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method through critical analysis of the literature on Islamic educational philosophy, educational management theory, and the thoughts of Islamic scholars. The results of the study show that tauhid (monotheism) is the highest value that inspires all activities in education and Islamic educational management. Ethical values such as trustworthiness, justice, responsibility, and and the public interest becomes the basis for managerial decision-making, while instrumental values are subordinate to transcendental values. The reconstruction of educational management functions based on axiology requires the integration of Islamic values in planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision. This approach has implications for formulating holistic Islamic education goals, not only oriented towards academic achievement but also toward shaping individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, and of noble character. Thus, axiology-based educational management is a strategic necessity in maintaining the identity and relevance of Islamic education in the modern era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeksripsikan peningkatan keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 5A SDN Panancangan 2 dengan menggunakan kartu huruf sebagai media pembelajaran. Latarbelakang dari adanya penelitian ini adalah karena masih rendahnya keterampilan membaca permulaan yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Hal tersebut tidak lepas dari adanya beberapa faktor seperti guru kurang tepat dalam memilih dan menggunakan metode dan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan model peneltian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif qualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa menggunakan kartu huruf sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas 5A SDN Panancangan 2.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the cooperative learning method Team Games Tournament(TGT) in developing social skills among kindergarten children through a literature review of national and international studies published within the last five years (2021–2025). The research employed a literature review approach by examining 25 relevant articles from reputable journals. The findings indicate that TGT consistently enhances various aspects of children’s social skills, including cooperation, communication, sharing, rule compliance, and prosocial behaviors. The structure of TGT—which integrates game-based activities, teamwork, and simple tournaments—provides meaningful social interaction experiences and increases children’s learning motivation. Moreover, the role of teachers as facilitators in managing group dynamics and instructional media becomes a key contributor to the successful implementation of TGT in early childhood education settings. Overall, this study confirms that TGT is an effective, enjoyable, and flexible approach for fostering social skill development in young children.

Abstract

This study aims to develop basic literacy strategies to enhance reading interest among 2nd-grade students at SDN 106835 Limau Manis. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the findings show that students have a high interest in storybooks and strong confidence in classroom reading. However, internal motivation for daily independent reading remains low as it is not yet a primary leisure activity. Consequently, structured strategies through habituation, development, and learning phases are essential to establish a consistent school literacy culture

Abstract

Attention disengagement is one of the main learning barriers experienced by children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Children with autism often have difficulty maintaining focus, following instructions, and completing learning tasks. This condition affects students’ engagement and academic achievement. This study aims to analyze attention disengagement barriers, contributing factors, and instructional strategies used by teachers to address these challenges. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed using observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation. The results show that attention disengagement is influenced by internal factors such as emotional regulation, sleep patterns, diet, and excessive screen time, as well as external factors including learning environment, teaching methods, and instructional media. Teachers applied interest-based learning, sensory media, activity breaks, and emotional approaches to improve students’ attention. This study highlights the importance of adaptive learning strategies and collaboration between teachers and parents in supporting children with autism.

Abstract

Penguatan literasi manusia menghadirkan pembaharuan pada pendekatan pendidikan untuk menjawab tantangan sosial di era modern, khususnya dalam membangun kesadaran sosial siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penguatan literasi manusia sebagai upaya membangun kesadaran sosial siswa kelas 3 SD IT Daarul Istiqlal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen selama satu semester ajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara guru dan siswa, serta analisis secara deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengidentifikasi tren, pendekatan, dan tantangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan literasi manusia dicapai melalui program strategis berbasis nilai keislaman, pengembangan desain pembelajaran interaktif, dan perangkat literasi sosial, serta inisiatif sekolah lainnya. Hambatan seperti keterbatasan sarana pendukung, variasi keterampilan awal siswa, serta keterlibatan komunitas sekolah diidentifikasi sebagai tantangan yang mempengaruhi efektivitas upaya tersebut. Temuan ini memberikan landasan untuk inovasi strategi pendidikan dan penguatan literasi yang selaras dengan visi sekolah dasar Islam terpadu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of arts performance as an outcome of Music Education course in PGSD students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to observe and analyze the arts performance as an implementation of Music Education course learning. The subjects of this study are PGSD students in semester VI, classes B, D, and E. Data were collected through observation and documentation. The results show that the implementation of arts performance at the end of the semester as a practical exam for Music Education course has a positive impact on students' creativity and confidence. This arts performance is expected to equip PGSD students to showcase their musical talents and play musical instruments when teaching at elementary school. The purpose of this study is to discuss the importance of introducing musical drama in elementary school as an effective method to build creativity and artistic expression.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze contemporary educational strategies that are effective in developing cognitive abilities in early childhood through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The SLR method was carried out by selecting articles published between 2015 and 2025 from various databases from Google Scholar, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and SpringerLink. using the keywords "Strategy, Cognitive, Contemporary Education, and early childhood". Of the total articles found, a number of studies met the inclusion criteria based on methodological quality and theme relevance. The results of the analysis showed that the most dominant and effective contemporary educational strategies include project-based learning, technology-integrated play, STEM approaches for early childhood, classroom-based social-emotional learning, and collaborative learning models. These strategies have been shown to improve cognitive aspects such as problem-solving skills, creativity, critical thinking, memory, and language development. This study concludes that implementing contemporary educational strategies oriented toward real-life experiences, collaboration, and the use of technology can significantly strengthen early childhood cognitive development. Recommendations focus on developing an early childhood education curriculum that adapts to learning innovations and improving educator competency to effectively integrate contemporary strategies in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the principal's management in developing extracurricular activities to support art achievements at SDN Baujeng II, Beji District. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the principal's management involves structured planning through talent mapping, organizing competent art mentors, and intensive supervision ahead of the FLS2N competition. This management significantly contributes to achieving achievements, including winning 3rd place at the provincial level in Storytelling Drawing in 2024. The supporting factor is the high commitment of the school, while the inhibiting factor is the limited infrastructure which is overcome through external collaboration.

Abstract

The implementation of civic ideals is strongly influenced by an individual's values, attitudes, and responsibilities. However, various studies indicate that these three aspects have not been optimally developed in educational practices or social life. This study aims to analyze the role and interrelationship of civic values, attitudes, and responsibilities through a literature review. The sources reviewed include journal articles, books, and research reports related to civic education. The results indicate that civic values ​​serve as a moral foundation, attitudes determine an individual's inclination towards public issues, and responsibilities are reflected in social actions. The gap between understanding and concrete actions arises from the predominantly cognitive nature of civics learning, low social participation, and the influence of digital culture. This study emphasizes the need to strengthen character education, civic literacy, and public participation to support the achievement of civic ideals
