Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the implementation of learning, (2) critical thinking skills, and (3) student activity with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in mathematics learning at Kintelan 1 Elementary School. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles consisting of four stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were grade III students of Kintelan 1 Elementary School Yogyakarta in the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 16 students consisting of 10 females and 6 males. The research instruments include observation, tests, and questionnaires. The analysis used in this study is descriptive analysis both qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed (1) there was an increase in the implementation of learning with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in mathematics learning, the average precycle meeting was still low at 53%, the average meeting I cycle I was 78%, continued with the second meeting of cycle I to 89%, then continued with the first meeting of cycle II, the increase was again with an average of 86%, and finally the second meeting of cycle II was 95%, (2) critical thinking skills through the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in the pre-cycle obtained a test completion percentage of 32% (low), in cycle 1 it increased with a test completion percentage of 62% (high), continued with cycle II there was an increase in completion of 94% (very high), (3) student activity with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in the pre-cycle, the percentage of activity was 50% (less category) then cycle I experienced an increase with a percentage of 72% (good category), continued with cycle II there was another increase with a percentage of 81% (very good category). Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by fourth-grade students in understanding geometry and to explore how GeoGebra can assist in overcoming these difficulties. Geometry is an essential aspect of mathematics that supports the development of logical and spatial thinking skills. However, many students struggle to grasp basic concepts such as the properties of two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes, spatial visualization, and the use of symbols and measuring tools. Several factors influencing these challenges include unengaging teaching methods and a lack of learning media. GeoGebra, an interactive software that integrates geometry and algebra, offers an innovative approach through dynamic visualization that can enhance students' understanding. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative method and collecting data through observations and interviews at a public elementary school in East Jakarta during the 2024/2025 academic year, the research findings indicate that GeoGebra can improve students' conceptual understanding of geometry, visualization skills, and the use of measuring tools and geometric symbols. This study also recommends providing training for teachers in using GeoGebra and applying various teaching approaches to enhance the effectiveness of geometry learning, with the hope of improving students' mathematics learning outcomes at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the educational philosophy "Tut Wuri Handayani" in enhancing learning independence and positive character among fifth-grade elementary students. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, conducted in a public elementary school in East Jakarta during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through direct classroom observations and in-depth interviews with teachers and students. The findings reveal that applying this philosophy has a significant impact on students' initiative in the learning process. Observations indicate an increase in students' active participation in class discussions and activities, reflecting a drive for independent learning. Additionally, students show greater confidence and responsibility for their tasks, demonstrating positive values such as discipline, cooperation, and mutual respect in daily interactions. Teachers play a role as facilitators, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment and implementing interactive learning methods, such as project-based learning and group discussions. Despite challenges in balancing encouragement with discipline, the results suggest that the "Tut Wuri Handayani" philosophy can foster positive character and enhance students' learning independence. This study recommends the consistent application of these philosophical principles to support the development of self-reliant and responsible students

Abstract

The problem of this research is that character education is a lesson that must be implemented in every school in order to prevent incidents that have a bad impact. This research aims to find out whether there are forms of character education in classroom learning activities and to find out how to cultivate character for class II students at SD Negeri 04 Payaraman. Formulation of the problem: how to embed character education in class II learning activities at SD Negeri 04 Payaraman? The research uses qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques using. Researchers used the Miles and Huberman model of data analysis which includes three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that students at SD Negeri 04 Payaraman have high character attitudes. This is known from the results of research conducted on students using questionnaires and supported by interviews which include three indicators of character implementation including, disciplinary attitude: students are able to apply 3 indicators of discipline, caring attitude: students are able to apply 3 indicators of caring and cooperative attitude: students are able apply 3 indicators of cooperation. This shows that class II students at SD Negeri 04 Payaraman have a very high category of character attitudes. Thus, it can be concluded that students at SD Negeri 04 Payaraman school on average have high character attitudes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in the material of plant sources of life on earth in class IV by using the Project Learning model and the TaRL approach at SDN 13 Palembang. This research method is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted in Class IV A, IV B, and IV C of SD Negeri 13 Palembang. This research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The learning model applied was Project Based Learning (PjBL) with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. The study results showed an increase after implementing the pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II with 93.33% of Class IV A students, 90% of Class IV B students, and 86.67% of Class IV C students reaching the KKM. Thus, there is an increase in IPAS learning outcomes on the material of plant sources of life on earth in class IV using the Project Based Learning learning model with the TaRL (Teaching at the Right Level) approach at SDN 13 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the underhand passing ability in volleyball among 10-grade students at SMK N H Moenadi. The research employs an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design, involving two groups: an experimental group that implements PjBL and a control group that uses conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through tests of underhand passing skills administered before and after the application of the learning model. The findings indicate that the average pre-test score of 36 students was 61.92, while the average post-test score was 84.06, demonstrating a significant improvement between the pre-test and post-test results. The research shows a notable increase in the underhand passing skills of students who participated in PjBL compared to the control group. The implementation of PjBL not only enhances students' technical skills but also fosters collaboration and problem-solving among them. Thus, the PjBL model proves to be effective in improving students' underhand passing abilities in volleyball, providing a more meaningful and relevant learning experience.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on the overhand passing skills in volleyball among 11th-grade vocational high school students. The background of this research is the need to enhance fundamental technical skills in volleyball, particularly overhand passing, which often poses challenges for students. The methodology employed in this study is an experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach, where the experimental group is taught using the PjBL model, while the control group utilizes traditional methods. The results indicate a significant improvement in overhand passing skills in the group applying PjBL compared to the control group. The average posttest scores of the experimental group showed a notable increase, suggesting that PjBL is effective in enhancing fundamental technical skills in volleyball. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of PjBL can serve as an effective alternative in sports education at the secondary school level, particularly for improving overhand passing skills in volleyball.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi permainan tradisional engklek dalam pembelajaran P5. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif terhadap wali kelas III dan peserta didik di SDN Cipocok Jaya 3. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perencanaan dan pelaksanaan media pembelajaran media permainan tradisional engklek pada pembelajaran P5. Dalam perencanaannya guru merancang perangkat pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan kemampuan serta kebutuhan peserta didik, di pembelajaran P5 guru memanfaatkan permainan tradisional engklek sebagai media pembelajaran. Permainan ini dirancang untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila seperti religiusitas, gotong royong, serta kebhinekaan global. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini tidak hanya berfokus pada penyelesaian soal, tetapi juga menekankan pentingnya kerja sama dalam kelompok, saling membantu, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Improving the quality of life and managing human resources is an important goal of education. One strategy to improve the quality of education is to use effective learning models. This research aims to find the potential of learning models in improving learning outcomes in renewable energy material. A quantitative research design was chosen for this study. As a result, data obtained increased the average score of cognitive learning outcomes from 1.77 to 3.18.

Abstract

Peneliti melakukan penelitian di SKHn 01 Kota Serang terhadap siswa penyandang autisme, karena peneliti ingin mengetahui lebih jauh tentang bagaimana autisme berinteraksi dengan orang lain, menanggapi rangsangan sosial seperti kontak mata, tersenyum dan menyentuh. Serta untuk mengetahui tantangan bagi guru dalam menangani anak penyandang autisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan hasil observasi peneliti menunjukkan bahwa subjek terdiagnosa autisme tingkat keparahan sedang karena subjek mampu menunjukkan ekspresi wajah yang sesuai dengan situasi, subjek mampu merespon ketika namanya dipanggil dan guru pembimbing autisme selalu memberikan stimulasi berupa instruksi untuk selalu menulis, berbicara, mewarnai dan berhitung.
