Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the integration of the School Operational Assistance (BOS) policy in improving the quality of basic education and its impact on school performance as well as the efficiency of education budget management in Indonesia. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach through an extensive literature review, this research synthesizes findings from fifteen national academic journal articles published between 2013 and 2025. The analysis reveals that the BOS policy has made a substantial contribution to enhancing educational facilities, expanding access to education, and strengthening school governance, particularly in aspects of financial transparency and accountability. Nevertheless, the policy’s effectiveness continues to face persistent challenges, including disparities in managerial capacity among schools, delays in fund disbursement, and limited community participation in monitoring and evaluation processes. Furthermore, the synthesis highlights that financial digitalization, the enhancement of school financial literacy, and the integration of data-based monitoring systems are crucial strategies to reinforce both efficiency and sustainability of the BOS program. Therefore, this study recommends that future BOS policy reforms should be more adaptive to technological advancements and local school needs in order to foster an inclusive, efficient, and quality-oriented basic education system.

Abstract

This study discusses the concept of educational motivation in elementary schools and its role in improving the quality of learning and student engagement. The purpose of this study is to explain the meaning and objectives of educational motivation, motivation theories according to McClelland, McGregor, Maslow, and Herzberg, factors that influence student learning motivation, and managerial strategies for improving learning motivation in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research. Data were obtained through a review of textbooks, scientific journals, and various sources of literature relevant to educational motivation. The results of the study show that educational motivation is an important component in the learning process that serves to encourage student engagement, perseverance, and achievement. Learning motivation is influenced by internal factors such as interest, personal goals, and self-confidence, as well as external factors such as the role of teachers, parental support, and the school environment. The application of appropriate managerial strategies, such as meaningful learning, the use of interactive media, and professional support for teachers, plays an important role in optimally increasing student learning motivation. Thus, managing educational motivation is key to realizing quality learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Berbasis Tri Hita Karana Berbantuan Media Video Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment) dengan rancangan non-equivalent post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD di Gugus I Kecamatan Mendoyo yang terdiri dari 223 siswa. Metode pengambilan sampelnya adalah Cluster Random Sampling dengan metode undian. Berdasarkan hasil pengundian, didapatkan hasil bahwa siswa kelas Va SDN 1 Pohsanten yang berjumlah 21 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Sementara itu siswa kelas V SDN 3 Mendoyo Dauh Tukad yang berjumlah 16 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data hasil belajar IPA dikumpulkan dengan metode tes dan instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 25 soal, kemudian data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan Uji-t. Berdasarkan analisis menggunakan uji-t dengan dk = 35 dan taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh hasil yaitu thitung > ttabel (4,005 > 2,042) maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal tersebut dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA yang signifikan antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbasis Tri Hita Karana berbantuan media video dan siswa yang tidak dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbasis Tri Hita Karana berbantuan media video pada siswa SD kelas V di Gugus I Kecamatan Mendoyo Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

Abstrak menjelaskan intisari dari artikel yang bersifat informatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor pemicu perilaku agresif pada anak usia dini serta menganalisis strategi Penanganan di Tk Islam Siti Hajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus intrinsik terhadapsubjek bernama Baim. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi partisipatif,wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan kepala sekolah,serta dokumentasi berupa catatan anekdot.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku agresif subjek bermanifestasi dalam bentuk fisik (mendorong dan memukul)serta pemicu verbal akibat kurangnya regulasi emosi dan pola asuh permisif di rumah.Strategi penanganan yang di terapkan melibatkan sinergi antara guru dan orang tua melalui internalisasi adab islami, penguatan positif, dan konsekuensi logis yang konsisten.Dampak dari intervensi ini menunjukkan penurunan signifikan pada frekuensi agresif dan peningkatan komunikasi sosial anak .

Abstract

Basic education serves as a strategic foundation for character building, the strengthening of literacy and numeracy skills, and the social-emotional development of learners, positioning elementary school teachers as key actors in the success of the learning process. Improving the quality of basic education cannot be separated from systematic, well-directed, and sustainable educational planning for teachers. Such planning includes identifying needs, setting objectives, formulating strategies, and developing teacher competencies to respond to the dynamics of modern learning, particularly in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which requires mastery of differentiated instruction, formative assessment, technology integration, and project-based learning. Without careful planning, teachers’ professional development may become ineffective and have minimal impact on learning quality. Furthermore, the rapid advancement of science and technology demands that elementary school teachers possess adaptive pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies to address the diverse characteristics of learners. Therefore, teacher education planning grounded in philosophical, psychological, and juridical foundations is essential to ensure that teachers receive relevant training and mentoring, enabling them to create meaningful, inclusive, and holistic learning experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of educational technology utilization on the learning concentration of third-grade students at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian. The use of educational technology such as laptops, projectors, and educational games has increasingly been implemented to create more interactive and engaging learning environments. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with classroom teachers and students, and documentation of learning activities. The results of the study indicate that the utilization of educational technology has a positive influence on students’ learning concentration. The use of laptops and projectors helps students focus on learning materials through visual and audiovisual presentations, while educational games encourage active participation and sustained attention during learning activities. These findings demonstrate that well-planned and guided educational technology can effectively improve students’ learning concentration. Therefore, the study concludes that the integration of laptops, projectors, and educational games in classroom learning contributes positively to enhancing students’ learning concentration at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Wordwall-based interactive media on students’ learning motivation in IPAS learning aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental one group pretest–posttest design. The participants consisted of 25 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Negla. Data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire and analyzed using paired sample t-test and N-Gain analysis. The results showed a significant increase in students’ learning motivation (t = 6.21; p < 0.05) with a moderate N-Gain score (0.46). These findings indicate that Wordwall is effective in enhancing students’ learning motivation in elementary IPAS learning.

Abstract

Morality is the core of Islamic teachings and the main indicator of the quality of a Muslim's faith. The Prophet Muhammad SAW was sent to perfect human morality, as emphasized in various hadiths. This article aims to analyze the concept of morality from an Islamic perspective based on the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and its relevance in modern society. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach to the hadiths of the Prophet and classical and contemporary Islamic literature. The results of the study show that morality in Islam encompasses three main dimensions, namely morality towards Allah SWT., morality towards oneself, and morality towards fellow human beings. Values such as sincerity, patience, gratitude, honesty, trustworthiness, justice, compassion, and guarding one's tongue form the foundation for the development of faith and civilization. Thus, ethics not only function as individual ethics but also as the main pillars for the formation of a civilized and just society.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of Social Studies (Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial/IPS) among elementary school students remain a common problem in the learning process. This condition is largely caused by the use of conventional learning models that do not sufficiently relate learning materials to students’ real-life contexts. The Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model is considered a potential solution because it emphasizes the connection between learning content and students’ everyday experiences. This study aims to systematically analyze the effect of the CTL model on Social Studies learning outcomes of elementary school students through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The research method employed was SLR by reviewing scientific articles obtained from Google Scholar, Garuda, and DOAJ databases published between 2020 and 2025. The articles were selected based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in a number of relevant studies for analysis. The data analysis techniques used were content analysis and thematic synthesis of the research findings. The results of the review indicate that the consistent implementation of the CTL model has a positive effect on improving Social Studies learning outcomes of elementary school students, including cognitive, affective, and learning engagement aspects. CTL enhances students’ conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and critical thinking skills through meaningful and contextual learning experiences. Therefore, the CTL model is recommended as an effective alternative learning model to improve the quality of Social Studies instruction in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers’ practices in mapping students’ intelligence profiles and optimizing their potential through adaptive instructional strategies at SDN 07 Lembah Melintang. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research explores teachers’ understanding of intelligence, the integration of intelligence mapping into classroom instruction, and the strategies used to develop students’ potential through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that teachers interpret intelligence pragmatically based on students’ learning behaviors and responses, while intelligence mapping is conducted informally through daily observations. Despite the absence of structured assessment instruments, teachers successfully integrate their understanding into instructional practices by applying differentiated activities, multisensory approaches, collaborative learning, and both enrichment and individualized support. The study concludes that teachers’ practices already reflect responsiveness to diverse intelligence profiles, although methodological reinforcement is needed to implement more systematic and sustainable intelligence mapping and potential development.
