Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of Liveworksheet-based E-LKPD to be developed to Class V of SDN Cisarua 03 and to determine the feasibility of Liveworksheet-based E-LKPD for the learning process carried out in schools. The method used in this study was to use the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), in this study, validation tests were carried out to experts. These experts are media experts, linguists and material experts to develop and perfect Liveworksheet-based E-LKPD to students, and distribute student questionnaire sheets to find out the feasibility of Liveworksheet-based E-LKPD on learning. The results of the validation test by media experts with a percentage of 82.85% with decent criteria, linguists with a percentage of 85% with decent criteria and material experts with a percentage of 98% with very decent criteria. And the results of the student response questionnaire showed results with a percentage of 90.21% with a very good category, so these results showed that E-LKPD was very feasible to be developed for students and was very worthy of being used as a learning tool in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and find out how to multiply children's reading skills at an early age with the "smart jump" game. This research also uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the case study method. The subjects in this study were all students, parents of students and teachers. Collecting data in this study will use several methods, namely observation methods, interview methods, and documentation methods. The technique to be used in this research is to analyze the data with details of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The validity of the data is carried out to explain the data by using source triangulation. From the results of the study it was found that with the smart jump game all students at an early age can double their reading ability. In the smart jump game, all students at an early age are motivated to be able to read. All children at an early age are invited to multiply their reading abilities with fun playing methods, so that all children at an early age will find it easier to multiply their reading abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in terms of problem solving abilities and attitudes in thematic learning class IV Theme 8 Sub theme 3 Learning 3. This research is a comparative research that compares the results research on the ability and attitude of problem solving in the experimental class 1 (SD Negeri Kalibalik 01) with the TPS model and the experimental class 2 (SD Negeri Sembung 02) with the PBL model. The data collection instruments used were problem-solving ability assessment sheets, problem-solving attitude observation sheets, self-assessment sheets for problem-solving attitudes, peer-to-peer assessment sheets for problem-solving attitudes. This instrument was developed based on the supervisor's review, the assessment of expert lecturers and practitioners. Based on the assessment of problem solving abilities, an average value of 69 was obtained in the experimental class 1 with the TPS model and an average value of 81 in the experimental class 2 with the PBL model. The results of the assessment of problem solving attitudes in the TPS class which consisted of 18 students had an average score of 81.18 from observations, 58.72 and 57.83 for assessments between friends and self-assessment of problem solving attitudes. While the results of the attitude assessment in the PBL class which consisted of 16 students had an average score of 85.62 from observations, 61.18 and 60.06 from assessments between friends and self-assessment of problem solving attitudes. For the effectiveness test used is the normality test, homogeneity test and the Independent Sample t-Test. The results of the normality test have a significance value of more than 0.05, so H0 is accepted, which means that the data is normally distributed. The results of the homogeneity test obtained a significance value of more than 0.05 so that H0 was accepted which means that the two classes were homogeneous or there was no difference in variance. The test results of the Independent Sample t-Test show that the significance of 2-tailed is less than 0.05, so there are differences in problem solving abilities and attitudes of students in thematic learning using the TPS and PBL learning models

Abstract

The background that prompted this research was that in the learning process on Javanese script material it was difficult for teachers to teach Javanese script material and many students had difficulty understanding Javanese script material. In addition, the lack of use of learning media makes students feel bored. Therefore teachers and students need learning media that are interesting, creative, innovative and adapt to changing times. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to explain the characteristics and determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Android-based SI RAJA (Sinau aksara jawa) learning media on Javanese Script Material. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) using the AADIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research was carried out in two elementary schools, namely at Pandean Lamper 05 Elementary School and Barunawati Elementary School which was held on March 15 2023 and March 17 2023. Based on the development that has been carried out, the characteristics of the SI RAJA (Sinau akasara jawa) learning media are that media can be used flexibly, makes it easier for teachers to explain material, makes it easier for students to understand material, is not easily damaged, and is digital-based media to adapt to changing times. The validation results from material experts obtained a percentage of 93% and the validation results from media experts obtained 96.5%. The results of the teacher response questionnaire assessment obtained a percentage of 98.75% and the results of the student response questionnaire assessment obtained a percentage of 100%. The results of the effectiveness test of the two elementary schools show a significance value of less than 0.05. The conclusion is that the Android-based SI RAJA (Sinau aksara jawa) learning media is included in the very good and very feasible category which has fulfilled valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Reading culture is a behavior that grows from a process of repeated habituation. Building a reading culture for early childhood starts from things that are close to children, concrete and interesting. Early childhood is a child who is in a period of growth and development. The period in which the child will quickly absorb the various stimuli given to him. Building a reading culture is not an easy matter, therefore it needs to be built from an early age. Pop up books are an alternative book that can be used as a teacher to foster children's interest in reading. By growing interest in reading, then through habituation, it is hoped that a reading culture can be awakened. The method used is the method of literature study. The literature study carried out by researchers is to search for various written sources, both in the form of books, articles, and relevant journals. The results showed 1) Planning for the development of a reading culture was carried out by compiling a cultural program team reading, making reading programs, procuring facilities and books reading media based on pop up books, 2) Implementation is carried out by socializing reading programs, creating pop up media based images, reading corner programs, literacy days and having mobile libraries, 3) Evaluation is carried out by monitoring field activities and follow-up.

Abstract

Classroom management is an effort directed by the teacher to create an effective and fun teaching and learning atmosphere and can motivate students to study well according to their abilities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the classroom management of mathematics teachers at MTsN 9 Bantul and its implications for mathematics learning outcomes. This research is a case study research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis which includes three stages: data reduction, data display, and verification. The results showed that the teacher had created the right learning climate, managed the study space well, managed teaching and learning interactions with the right strategies, models, and methods. The supporting factor is that the teacher has skills in class management so that it has implications for mathematics learning outcomes. The inhibiting factor is that students are less aware of their obligations in terms of class discipline and cleanliness.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' learning readiness in participating in the mathematics learning process during the post-pandemic period. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were all students in class V at UPT SDN 51 Yosowilangon Gresik, which consisted of 27 students. Data collection techniques for student learning readiness use observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that students did not have good learning readiness in participating in the mathematics learning process and student learning outcomes were still low. This can be seen from the results of daily mathematics tests, students who get good grades are still 45% of the total students, and for the midterm assessment (PTS) in mathematics it is known that out of 27 students, all students still get scores below the KKM. And the factors that affect the learning readiness of class V UPT SDN 51 Gresik students consist of physical, mental, and emotional conditions, conditions of needs, motives and goals as well as conditions of knowledge, but the factors that are very dominant in influencing student learning readiness in the process of learning mathematics are condition of student knowledge. It can be seen from the 27 students of class V UPT SDN 51 Gresik, there were 22 students who stated that the students did not understand the material explained by the teacher because they had not previously been prepared or had not studied at home.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this study are (1) to determine the effectiveness of the flipped classroom learning model assisted by video learning in increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts, (2) to determine the effectiveness of the flipped classroom learning model assisted by video learning in improving students' numeracy literacy skills, (3) knowing factors supporting the implementation of the flipped classroom learning model assisted by video learning in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts and numeracy literacy skills. This type of research is quasi-experimental research with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were students in grade VI semester II of Penangkan Public Elementary School and Siwatu 01 Public Elementary School in the Ki Hajar Dewantara Cluster, Wonotunggal District, for the 2022/2023 academic year, with a total of 40 students. Data were obtained through test instruments and student response questionnaires. The results of the study prove that (1) learning statistics for class VI students using the flipped classroom learning model assisted by learning videos is effective in increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts. (2) learning statistics for class VI students using the flipped classroom learning model assisted by learning videos effectively improves students' numeracy literacy skills. (3) there are factors that support the effectiveness of the flipped classroom learning model assisted by video learning in increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts and numeracy literacy skills including teacher-facilitated learning, delivery of learning objectives, training self-confidence, video assistance can deepen understanding of the material, discover new knowledge and can learn anywhere and anytime.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes by utilizing audio-visual media in class IV B students at SDN 1 Penengahan. This type of research is classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class IV B at SDN 1 Penengahan for the 2022/2023 academic year, which consisted of 22 students. Prior to the study, a pre-cycle was conducted which showed only 31.8% of students scored above the KKM. After the research in the first cycle which scored above the students' KKM, which was 60%, while there was an increase in the second cycle, which was 86%. With the average posttest score of students increasing from 52.72 in the pre-cycle stage, to 66.81 in cycle I and to 82.5 in cycle II. Furthermore, the number of students who scored above the KKM has also increased, namely at the pre-cycle stage as many as 7 students, increased in cycle I to 13 students and experienced another increase in cycle II to 19 students.
