Abstract

Profesionalisme guru merupakan faktor kunci dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan, khususnya pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Guru tidak hanya dituntut memiliki kompetensi akademik, tetapi juga kemampuan pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, dan profesional yang terintegrasi dalam praktik pembelajaran. Permasalahan yang masih dihadapi dalam dunia pendidikan Indonesia antara lain belum meratanya kualitas guru, tantangan adaptasi terhadap perkembangan teknologi, serta rendahnya apresiasi terhadap profesi guru yang berdampak pada kinerja dan kualitas pembelajaran. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji aspek-aspek pengembangan profesionalisme guru, strategi pengembangannya, serta peran pemerintah dalam mendukung terwujudnya guru profesional. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (penelitian perpustakaan) dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber literatur berupa buku, artikel jurnal, peraturan perundang-undangan, dan hasil penelitian relevan yang berkaitan dengan profesionalisme guru. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan profesionalisme guru dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi pedagogik, penguasaan materi, kemampuan teknologi pendidikan, keterampilan sosial-emosional, serta pembelajaran berkelanjutan. Strategi yang efektif meliputi pelatihan dan lokakarya, Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG), praktik komunitas, pendampingan dan pembinaan, pemanfaatan teknologi, serta kolaborasi dan kemitraan. Pemerintah memiliki peran strategis melalui kebijakan sertifikasi, peningkatan kualifikasi akademik, penguatan komunitas guru, dan peningkatan kesejahteraan. Dengan sinergi antara guru, sekolah, pemerintah, dan masyarakat, pengembangan profesionalisme guru dapat berjalan optimal dan berdampak positif terhadap kualitas pendidikan nasional.

Abstract

The phenomenon of fatherlessness is an important issue in children's psychosocial development, especially for boys who need a father figure as a model for gender identification. A number of theories and studies show that the absence of a father can affect emotional and relational development, as well as the formation of self-identity into adulthood. This study aims to obtain an overview of the level of fatherlessness among gay men in the DKI Jakarta area. The method used is descriptive quantitative with purposive sampling technique. There were 248 gay men aged 19-40 years who filled out the Indonesian version of the Father Presence Questionnaire (FPQ). Descriptive analysis results showed that the level of fatherlessness was in the high category with an average score of 145.25 and a standard deviation of 25.68. A total of 201 respondents (81.05%) were classified as having high fatherlessness, while 47 respondents (18.95%) were classified as having low fatherlessness. The Relationship with the Father dimension received the highest score, indicating a lack of emotional closeness, involvement, and physical presence of the father as the most dominant form of fatherlessness. Overall, the findings illustrate that most participants experienced low father involvement during their growth and development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap kreativitas siswa pada tema merawat hewan dan tumbuhan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Karangrejo 02 Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pada observasi awal diketahui bahwa dari 18 siswa kelas 2 hanya terdapat 5 siswa yang memiliki kreativitas yang baik, sedangkan 13 siswa lainnya masih kurang dalam kreativitas. Penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada tema merawat hewan dan tumbuhan di kelas 2 yaitu membuat vas bunga. Dari proyek yang dilaksanakan, siswa kelas 2 sangat antusias mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Kreativitas siswa juga meningkat dari sebelum model Project Based Learning digunakan. Hal ini terlihat dari bagaimana siswa mampu membuat desain vas bunga sesuai kreativitas masing-masing dengan desain yang menarik. Setelah dilakukan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning membuat vas bunga, Dari 18 peserta didik sebanyak 11 peserta didik mendapatkan nilai 4 atau dalam kategori sangat baik, sebanyak 2 siswa mendapatkan nilai 3 dengan kategori baik, kemudian sebanyak 3 peserta didik mendapatkan nilai 2 dalam kategori baik dan sebanyak 2 peserta didik mendapatkan nilai 1 dalam kategori sangat kurang.

Abstract

Dalam konteks pendidikan yang ada di Indonesia, pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Dasar masih menghadapi berbagai macam tantangan salah satunya yaitu siswa mengalami kecemasan dalam belajar yang disebut dengan anxiety. Anxiety mathematics dapat didefinisikan sebagai perasaan cemas, adanya rasa tidak nyaman dan khawatir yang muncul saat siswa dihadapkan pada tugas atau ujian matematika. sehingga dapat mengganggu kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep dan dapat menghambat proses belajar siswa serta mempengaruhi hasil akademis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat anxiety mathematics siswa kelas V di SD Negeri Pamoyanan 1 dengan menggunakan pendekatan Design Based Research (DBR). Anxiety mathematics dapat mengganggu kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep dan dapat menghambat proses belajar siswa serta mempengaruhi hasil akademis. Metode yang digunkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan desain survei yang melibatkan 53 siswa sebagai populasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang terdiri dari 30 item yang telah diuji validitas dan realibilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat anxiety mathematics siswa berada pada kategori “Cemas Sedang” dengan nilai rata – rata total skor sebesar 58,62. Sebanyak 77,36% siswa tergolong dalam kategori ini, menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan untuk intervensi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan solusi intervensi berbasis efikasi diri yang berfokus pada peningkatan motivasi dan pengurangan anxiety siswa melalui pendekatan yang lebih kolaboratif. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi guru dan pihak sekolah dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan mendukung siswa dalam mengatasi anxiety mathematics.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and the flow of globalization have had a significant impact on the character formation of students at the elementary school level. This situation presents a unique challenge for Islamic educational institutions, particularly madrasas, in instilling moral values ​​amidst the massive use of digital media and changes in children's social interaction patterns. This study aims to examine the concept of moral education from an Islamic perspective and its implementation at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Batam in the context of the modern era. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was conducted through observations of the activities of the madrasah principal, teachers, and students. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and concluded with data validity tests using source and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that moral education at MIN 2 Batam is implemented in an integrated manner through the integration of values ​​into the curriculum, habituation of worship, strengthening madrasah culture, teacher role models, extracurricular activities, and the wise use of technology. Teachers and parents play a strategic role in supporting the moral development of students. However, they still encounter obstacles such as the negative influence of digital media, limited facilities, and limited learning time. Therefore, ongoing collaboration between madrasas, families, and the community is necessary to strengthen the effective implementation of moral education.

Abstract

This study examines the methik and ngambeng pari traditions as part of the local wisdom upheld by the farming community of Dukuh Beber, Desa Kejene, which remain preserved within the rice cultivation cycle. These traditions are rooted in strong agrarian cultural values and are performed through meaningful ritual stages. The purpose of this research is to describe the procedural stages of the traditions and to understand farmers’ perceptions of the moral, social, and religious values embedded in them. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, analyzed through the Miles and Huberman model. The findings show that the methik tradition is performed in the rice field using symbolic offerings called cokbakal, while the ngambeng tradition involves a communal feast held at home after the harvest arrives. Interviews reveal that farmers regard the traditions as expressions of gratitude and ancestral heritage that must be preserved even though they do not technically affect crop yields. The discussion links these findings with previous studies that demonstrate similar harvest rituals across Indonesia. The study concludes that these traditions hold significant spiritual and social functions for the community and remain relevant as part of the cultural identity that deserves preservation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of local potential-based curriculum management in improving graduate competencies at SDN Rancaekek 05. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation studies, with the principal and teachers as subjects. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was maintained through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that the implementation of local potential-based curriculum management at SDN Rancaekek 05 was carried out based on the management functions according to George R. Terry: planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. Curriculum planning was carried out by considering the characteristics of students and the school environment. Organization was carried out through the functional and collaborative division of teacher tasks. Curriculum implementation was realized through contextual learning that linked material to local potential, while supervision was carried out through ongoing supervision and evaluation. Nevertheless, curriculum implementation still faces several obstacles, including teachers' limited understanding of the local potential-based curriculum, limited supporting facilities and infrastructure, and teachers' administrative burden. To address these challenges, the school has implemented efforts to improve teacher capacity through training and mentoring, strengthening internal coordination and communication, and optimizing the use of local potential as a learning resource. Overall, the implementation of locally-based curriculum management at SDN Rancaekek 05 has contributed positively to improving graduate competencies that are contextual, relevant, and meaningful.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology presents significant challenges in early childhood education, particularly in relation to parental assistance in children’s use of digital devices at home. Parents play a crucial role in shaping children’s digital habits; however, not all parents possess adequate digital literacy skills. This study aims to describe teachers’ strategies in educating parents of RA Intisyarul Ulum students to enhance digital literacy understanding in supporting early childhood development. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects included classroom teachers, the school principal, and parents of Group A students at RA Intisyarul Ulum. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that parents’ digital literacy understanding varies considerably. Teachers implemented several strategies to educate parents, including parent meetings, personal communication, and the use of school communication media. The educational efforts focused on increasing parents’ awareness of the positive and negative impacts of digital device use, the importance of parental guidance, and encouraging alternative non-digital educational activities for children. These strategies contributed to positive changes in parental attitudes toward guiding children’s digital use. The study highlights the importance of collaboration between teachers, parents, and schools in strengthening family digital literacy to support healthy early childhood development in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the media construct and represent social reality through discursive practices. Using a critical discourse analysis approach, the study examines textual structures, discourse production practices, and the social contexts underlying them. The research data consist of news texts published by national mass media within a specific period and are analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques.The findings indicate that the media are not neutral in conveying information; rather, they actively shape meaning through the choice of diction, sentence structures, the highlighting of certain actors, and the omission of others. The constructed discourse tends to reflect ideological interests and dominant power relations within society. These findings suggest that the media function as agents of social construction that influence how the public understands an event.This study is expected to contribute theoretically to communication studies and media studies, as well as to serve as a reference for the public to adopt a more critical stance toward media-produced discourse.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the relationship between teachers’ pedagogical competence and teaching motivation and the quality of learning at SD Negeri Baros 6 Cimahi. A quantitative approach with a correlational research design was employed. The research subjects consisted of all teachers at SD Negeri Baros 6 Cimahi, totaling 19 teachers, who were selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and Spearman’s rank correlation, with consideration of the results of prerequisite tests. The findings indicated that teachers’ pedagogical competence and teaching motivation were in the high category, as was the quality of learning. The correlation analysis revealed a strong and significant positive relationship between teachers’ pedagogical competence and the quality of learning, as well as a very strong and significant positive relationship between teaching motivation and the quality of learning. The multiple correlation analysis showed that pedagogical competence and teaching motivation simultaneously had a very strong relationship with the quality of learning and contributed substantially to explaining variations in learning quality. These results emphasize that the quality of learning is not determined solely by teachers’ pedagogical competence but is also strongly influenced by their teaching motivation. Therefore, efforts to improve learning quality should focus on strengthening pedagogical competence while simultaneously enhancing teachers’ teaching motivation through continuous professional development and sustained institutional support.
