Abstract

THE EFFECT OF TARGET-BASED TRAINING ON SHORT PASSING ACCURACY OF SSB MKS JUNIORS 23 U-13 SOCCER PLAYERS. This study This study aims to determine the effect of target training on improving short passing accuracy in soccer games. The research method used is an experiment with a pretest- posttest design. The research sample consisted of 15 SSB MKS Juniors23 U-13 players using the Total sampling technique. The measurement instrument used was a short passing accuracy test. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in short passing accuracy after being given target training treatment. Thus, it can be concluded that target training has a positive and significant effect on improving short passing accuracy of SSB MKS Juniors23 soccer players aged 13 years..

Abstract

PENGARUH LATIHAN KOMBINASI DRIBBLING ZIG-ZAG DAN LINGKARAN TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN DRIBBLING SEPAKBOLA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh latihan kombinasi dribbling zig-zag dan lingkaran terhadap keterampilan dribbling sepak bola siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 15 siswa SD Negeri 2 Langseb yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes keterampilan dribbling yang mengukur waktu tempuh melewati lintasan zig-zag. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan. Rata-rata hasil pretest sebesar 20,80 detik menurun menjadi 18,58 detik pada posttest, dengan selisih rata-rata 2,22 detik. Uji Paired Sample t-Test menghasilkan nilai t hitung = 12,143 dengan p < 0,05. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa latihan kombinasi dribbling zig-zag dan lingkaran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan dribbling siswa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di sekolah dasar memiliki peran penting dalam membangun literasi ekonomi sejak dini. Namun, sering muncul miskonsepsi di kalangan siswa, salah satunya anggapan bahwa semakin banyak uang dicetak oleh negara maka kesejahteraan rakyat akan meningkat. Kajian literatur ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab munculnya miskonsepsi tersebut, menganalisis dampaknya terhadap pemahaman siswa, serta menawarkan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat untuk meluruskannya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa miskonsepsi ini berakar pada penyederhanaan materi ajar, keterbatasan pemahaman guru, dan kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kontekstual. Akibatnya, siswa cenderung memahami uang hanya sebagai simbol kekayaan tanpa menyadari keterkaitannya dengan inflasi dan daya beli masyarakat. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, guru disarankan menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual, problem-based learning, simulasi konkret, serta pemanfaatan media digital interaktif agar siswa dapat membangun pemahaman ekonomi yang lebih realistis. Kajian ini berkontribusi dengan memetakan literatur mengenai miskonsepsi ekonomi di sekolah dasar dan menegaskan pentingnya penguatan literasi ekonomi dasar dalam pembelajaran IPS. Implikasinya signifikan bagi guru, pengembang kurikulum, dan penelitian lanjutan guna merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dalam membentuk pola pikir ekonomi kritis sejak dini.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of guided inquiry learning model on critical thinking skills of tenth grade students at SMA Pencawan Medan. Using a quantitative approach and experimental method, this study involved two classes as samples, namely the experimental class that implemented the guided inquiry learning model and the control class that used conventional learning methods. Hypothesis testing was conducted to compare the average post-test scores between the two classes, with the results showing that the average post-test score of the experimental class was higher, namely 72.02, compared to the control class which only reached 59.52. The results of the study showed a significant difference in critical thinking skills between students taught with the guided inquiry model and students taught with conventional methods. The ????-h???????????????????? value of 3.538 is higher than the ????-???????????????????? value of 2.002, which indicates that the implementation of the guided inquiry learning model has a positive influence on students' critical thinking skills. Thus, guided inquiry learning can significantly improve students' critical thinking skills at Pencawan Medan High School, making students more active, independent, and confident in understanding and applying mathematics material.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by wordwall on improving students' numeracy literacy skills. Data were obtained through experiments with a pretest-posttest control group design in the experimental class (PBL assisted by wordwall) and the control class (conventional). The post-test results showed significant differences between the two classes: the experimental class had an average of 79.14 (the highest score was 95, the lowest was 20), while the control class had an average of 56.86 (the highest score was 70, the lowest was 15). The independent sample t-test statistical test confirmed the difference with a calculated t value of t = 10.8412 (greater than t table = 2.0345, indicating statistical significance at α = 0.05. In addition, the N-gain score analysis strengthened this finding with an increase in the numeracy literacy skills of the experimental class (N-gain = 0.75, high category) which was superior to the control class (N-gain = 0.57, medium category). The results of the study prove that the PBL model assisted by wordwalls is effective in significantly improving students' numeracy literacy compared to conventional models. The implications of this finding encourage recommendations for the use of interactive platforms such as wordwalls in problem-based learning to optimize numeracy competencies in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of the discovery learning model assisted by quizizz can improve the mathematical understanding of class VII students of SMP Santo Yoseph and to determine how the application of the discovery learning model assisted by quizizz improves the mathematical understanding of class VII students of SMP Santo Yoseph. This research method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research procedure is in the form of a cycle. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques through observation and testing. This data collection uses several instruments in the form of teacher activity observation sheets and student activity observation sheets, while tests are used to determine students' mathematical understanding abilities. The results of the study indicate that the use of the discovery learning model assisted by quizizz can improve students' mathematical understanding abilities in mathematics lessons on spatial geometry material. From the average value of initial ability, which is 52.73 (15%), the average value of mathematical understanding ability in cycle I is 63.24 (38%), and the average value of mathematical understanding ability in cycle II is 78.36 (82%), and the average value of teacher and student activity observations in cycle I is 71.5% and 72% and cycle II is 85.5% and 88.5%.

Abstract

The research conducted at the Santo Petrus Medan Private Middle School in class VIII aims to describe the effect of the Student Facilitator and Eplaining (SFE) Cooperative Learning Model assisted by Geogebra on students' mathematical concept understanding ability on the material of straight line equations and line gradients and parallel lines and perpendicular lines. This study uses quantitative research with the experimental method. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of Santo Petrus Medan Private Middle School. The sampling technique was random sampling, selected students of class VIII-3 as the control class and students of class VIII-4 as the experimental class. The results of the pre-test and post-test were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests. The results showed that the samples were normally distributed and homogeneous. Furthermore, an independent samples test was carried out, a significant value was obtained from the value of students' mathematical concept understanding ability between the control class and the experimental class with the results of the SPSS analysis, p <0.05, which means that there is an influence of the Student Facilitator and Eplaining (SFE) Cooperative Learning Model assisted by Geogebra on students' mathematical concept understanding ability. This can be seen from the test results with an average value of the control class of 25.19 and an average value of the experimental class of 75.58 with a t_count value = 14.81. The t_count value is higher than the t_table value of 1.99. So is rejected and is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Student Facilitator and Eplaining (SFE) Cooperative Learning Model assisted by Geogebra on students' mathematical concept understanding abilities with significant results. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Flipped Classroom learning model on the ability to understand algebra concepts of class VII-B students at Santo Yoseph Private Middle School Medan, consisting of 36 students consisting of 15 male students and 19 female students. The Flipped Classroom model is a learning approach that combines independent learning through videos before face-to-face activities in class. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The instruments used are pretest and posttest tests that are arranged based on four indicators of conceptual understanding abilities. The results of the study showed that the average posttest score increased, meaning that students' conceptual understanding abilities increased from 8 in the pretest to 13 in the posttest, with the percentage of classical completeness increasing from only 14% of the total students who passed or got satisfactory scores to 53%. The normality test showed that the data were normally distributed. The results of the simple linear regression test showed that the Flipped Classroom model had an effect of 53.4% ​​on improving students' conceptual understanding. The paired simple t-test also showed a significant effect between the pretest and posttest. Thus, the application of the Flipped Classroom model has proven effective in improving students' ability to understand algebraic concepts.

Abstract

This research, conducted in grade VII of UPT SMPN 41 Medan, aims to describe the effect of Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning on students' mathematical connection abilities in the topic of triangles and quadrilaterals. The research method used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research method. The population in this study was all grade VII students of UPT SMPN 41 Medan. The sampling technique used random sampling, selecting grade VII-2 students as the experimental class and grade VII-4 students as the control class. The Pretest and Posttest results were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests. Based on the normality and homogeneity tests, the results showed that the sample was normally distributed and homogeneous. Furthermore, a hypothesis test was conducted. The results of the independent samples test showed a significant difference in students' mathematical connection skills between the control and experimental classes. The SPSS analysis showed a significance value of p = 0.000, indicating that p <0.05, indicating an effect of the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning on students' mathematical connection skills. This was also evident from the results of the comparative hypothesis test of two samples, with an average post-test score of 74.55 for the experimental class and an average score of 46.28 for the control class, with a T-value of 13.87. This T-value was higher than the T-table value of 2.001. Therefore, the hypothesis Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning had a significant effect on students' mathematical connection skills.

Amelia, Putri. 2025. The Effectiveness of Using Color Card Media on the Skills of Writing Pantun of Fourth Grade Students at SD Inpres Andi Tonro, Makassar City. Thesis, Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Supervisor I: Andi Paida and Supervisor II: Rahmatiah. The main problem in this study is whether there is an effect of using color card media on the skills of writing pantun among fourth grade students at SD Inpres Andi Tonro, Makassar City. This research is a quantitative experimental study (pre- experimental). The experimental study employed a one-group pretest–posttest design. In this design, the experimental class was given a learning model using color card media. The sample of this study was the fourth grade B students of SD Inpres Andi Tonro, Makassar City. The results of this study show that: (1) The percentage of achievement standards obtained from the pretest scores (before treatment) using color card media was very low, (2) The percentage of achievement standards obtained from the posttest scores (after treatment) using color card media was categorized as high, (3) The use of color card media was effective and able to improve learning outcomes in the skill of writing pantun for fourth grade students at SD Inpres Andi Tonro, Makassar City. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of color card media is effective in improving the skill of writing pantun of fourth grade students at SD Inpres Andi Tonro, Makassar City.
