Abstract

Aulia Khaerunnisa. 2025. Improving Reading Skills through the Global Method for Third Grade Students of UPT SPF SD Negeri Pannara Makassar City. Undergraduate Thesis. Department of Primary School Teacher Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Supervisor I: Tasrif Akib, Supervisor II: Amal Akbar. This study aims to improve the reading comprehension skills of third grade students at UPT SPF SD Negeri Pannara Makassar City through the implementation of the global method. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 26 third grade students in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through learning achievement tests and observation sheets, then analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed an improvement in students’ reading comprehension after the application of the global method. In the first cycle, most students were still categorized as low to moderate, and the mastery percentage did not meet the expected target. However, in the second cycle, a significant improvement occurred, with 88% of students achieving a score above 75 in accordance with the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). This finding proves that the global method is effective in helping students understand reading materials gradually, starting from sentences, words, syllables, to letters, thereby facilitating a comprehensive understanding of the text. Thus, the application of the global method can be used as an alternative learning strategy in teaching Indonesian language to effectively improve elementary school students’ reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the observation that several children exhibit impatience. The purpose of this study is to examine the steps of implementing the storytelling method, the ways to instill the value of patience from the story of Prophet Ayyub a.s., and the level of patience in early childhood after the teacher applies this method at Dharma Bakti Tarantang Kindergarten. This study uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data were collected from 2 teachers and 15 students through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results indicate that the steps of implementing the storytelling method include selecting the story, praying before telling, arranging the sitting and book position, displaying the book title, narrating the story with appropriate voice intonation, closing the story, and conducting a question-and-answer session. The method instills patience in several aspects: facing challenges (queuing when entering and leaving class), praying and seeking help (before and after activities), mental resilience (not getting angry while completing tasks), waiting during the healing process (taking turns washing and wiping hands), and appreciating Allah’s assistance (waiting for their turn to answer the teacher’s questions).The value of patience after the implementation of storytelling shows significant improvement. On the indicator of queuing when entering and leaving class, 12 children (80%) developed very well (BSB); praying before and after activities, 14 children (93%) BSB; not getting angry during assignments, 11 children (73%) BSB; waiting turns to wash and wipe hands, 12 children (80%) BSB; and waiting turns to answer questions when going home, 11 children (73%) BSB. This demonstrates that storytelling effectively fosters patience in early childhood.

Abstract

This article aimed to explaining student's motivation infollowing dancing activities as their self-development activities in SD Negeri 20 Lubuk Alung Kecamatan Ampek Nagari Kabupaten Agam. The type of this research was descriptive qualitative research. The data ware collected from observation, interviews, and literature review. The data were analyzed byusing the phenomenology. The findings indicated that the students weremotivated enoughi following the dancing activiti as their self-development activities. It was seen from students enthuseiastic and earnest responseabout theactivities. Most student sexpressed their excitementand willingness tofollowthe activities.It could be councluded that the students following the dancing activities were those who cared for the dance art itself.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the zig-zag run training method ondribbling ability in youth soccer players. The research employed an experimentalmethod with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 14athletes from SSB Gesit Junior Ciomas U-15, selected using purposive sampling.The instrument used was the zig-zag dribbling test to measure speed, agility, ballcontrol, and dribbling skills. The training program was carried out over 16 sessionswith a frequency of 3–5 times per week. Data analysis showed a significantimprovement in dribbling performance after implementing the zig-zag run training.The average pretest score of 70.28 increased to 78.07 in the posttest. A pairedsample t-test indicated a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, confirming that the zig-zag run method has a significant effect on dribbling ability. Therefore, the zig-zag run is proven to be an effective training method to enhance the fundamental dribbling skills of youth soccer players.

Abstract

PENGARUH METODE LATIHAN DRILL TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN SHOOTING PESERTA EKSTRAKURIKULER FUTSAL MAN 1 KUNINGAN . This study aims to determine the Influence of the Drill Training Method on the Shooting Ability of Participants in the Extracurricular Program at MAN 1 Kuningan. The research method used is an experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study consisted of 20 students from MAN 1 Kuningan who participated in a training program for 6 weeks with a frequency of 2 meetings per week. The data collection instrument used was a shooting test on goal, where the goal area was divided into 9 sections. The results showed a significant increase in the shooting accuracy of the players, where the average pretest score of 13.3 increased to 31.9 in the posttest. The results of the paired sample t-test obtained a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05), indicating a significant effect of the shooting drill training on the ability.

Abstract

Elementary school students’ mathematical creative thinking ability is the foundation for student to develop problem-solving abilities with differend and varied perspective. The study has importand objective, namely: 1) to determine the effect of the problem-based instruction learning model assisted by tangram media. 2) to determine the increase in mathematical creative thinking abilities with the problem-based instruction learning model assisted by tangram media. 3) to determine the implementation of the problem-based instruction learning model assisted by tangram media. This study uses an experimental method with post- test only design. The sample in this study that will be used is 15 students from class va as the experimental class and 15 studens as the control class. The type of research use is qualitative with experimental method methods and a Nonequivalent control group design research design. The total population of both classes is 47 with a random sampling technique. The prerequisite test uses the Shapiro Wilk Normality test and the Homogeneity test. Hypothesis testing uses the Independent sample t-test, Effect Size and implementation sheets. The results of the study showed 1) the average experimental post-test of 65.07 was higher than the average control post-test of 41.20. In addition, it can also be seen from the output of the Independent Sample t-test which has a significance value of Equal Variances Assumed of 0.001 <0.05. 2) the result of the Effect Size test was 1.673 which is in the very high criteria. 3) the assessment of the implementation observation sheet was 88% which is in the very high criteria.

With its ease of use, plugin flexibility, and extensive community, WordPress is a top choice for users without a strong technical background. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature review of various relevant sources, including journal articles, books, and WordPress.org documentation.

Abstract

Students' geometric thinking skills are still relatively low, because there is a lack of innovation in the learning media used and the learning model used is still not attractive. Students need learning media that can help them improve their geometric thinking skills to be more effective through interactive learning modules. This research aims to develop interactive learning media in the form of a valid environment-based space building teaching module using a project-based learning (PjBL) approach. This research uses the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which is focused on three stages, namely, the analysis stage, the design stage, and the development stage. The results of the study showed that media experts got an average score of 3.26 with a very valid category and material experts got an average score of 3.51 with a very valid category. Overall, the average validation score of the two experts obtained a score of 3.38 with a very valid category. Based on these results, the environment-based building learning module with the PjBL approach meets the feasibility standards and can be piloted on grade VII students of mathematics learning.

Endang sulistiani. 105731109821. Title: Analysis of Management Accounting Information Systems and Performance Measurement Systems at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 South Makassar. Thesis, Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Supervised by Ismail Badollahi and Abd Salam. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Management Accounting Information System (MAIS) and the effectiveness of performance measurement systems at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Makassar Selatan. The research is motivated by the importance of integrating accurate and real-time information systems to support managerial decision-making and organizational performance evaluation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation from employees directly involved in the use of MAIS and performance measurement systems. The results show that the implementation of the ERP-SAP-based MAIS at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Makassar Selatan has successfully supported managerial processes, particularly in terms of reporting efficiency, information accuracy, and cross-functional integration including finance, HR, and asset management. The performance measurement system in place is also considered effective, utilizing MAIS data for work achievement monitoring and evaluation, although some technical challenges remain. This research is expected to provide insights for improving information systems and performance measurement in state-owned enterprises.

Abstract

In the subject of music, there is one of the character values used to achieve the competence of students, namely discipline. The objective to be achieved in this research is to find out the character learning discipline through art education in 20 Kayu Pasak State Elementary School. This type of research is a qualitative research, carried out in Sumberejo State Elementary School 20 Kayu Pasak Subdistrict Palembayan Elementary Agam District in 2022/2023 school year. Sources of data in this study were obtained through interviews, filling out questionnaires, and documentation from informants. The results of this study are based on observations and interviews of principals and teachers and filling out questionnaires (questionnaire) class III SD Negeri 26 Kayu Pasak already carrying out character discipline learning through art education (SBdP). It can be seen that students obey all school rules.
