Abstract

This study uses a Quasi Experimental research type. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning model on mathematics learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were students in grades V - B and V - D of Elementary School Negeri Polisi 4 Bogor City consisting of 67 students, this study was conducted in the even semester of the 2024/2025 school year. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out to obtain learning outcomes using pretest and posttest. Data analysis was carried out using the N - Gain test, Normality Test, and Homogeneity Test as prerequisite tests before conducting the Hypothesis Test (t-test). The average N-Gain score in the experimental class was 70 and the average N-Gain score in the control class was 65. Then the results of the hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained a count (2.22)> ttable (1.991714) for a significance of 5% so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of Problem Based Learning on mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Generation Z students' perceptions of the influence of social media on their motivation to learn physics at the high school level. Social media has become an integral part of students' daily lives, providing both positive and negative impacts on the learning process. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a questionnaire distributed to high school students. Data were analyzed to identify student perceptions and the relationship between social media use and their motivation to learn physics. The results showed that some students perceived positive benefits in the form of easy access to additional materials and educational content, but the majority of students were more distracted by social media, resulting in decreased focus, concentration, and motivation to learn physics. In general, negative perceptions of the influence of social media were more dominant than positive perceptionsKeywords: Generation Z, social media, learning motivation, physics education

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Mranggen 4 tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen kuantitatif. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 50 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Mranggen 4. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji-t dengan menggunakan uji t Paired t-test dan uji perbandingan dua sampel. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan rata-rata skor pretest adalah 70,32. Setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran Make A Match diperoleh nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 89,84. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, nilai sebelum dan sesudah tes kelas kontrol masing-masing adalah 65,32 dan 80,56. Hal ini dilihat dengan perhitungan uji-t Paired t-test yang membandingkan nilai pretes-postest kelas eksperimen, menunjukkan thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,398 > 2,010. Sementara itu, perbandingan perbedaan rata-rata posttest antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan uji perbandingan dua sampel menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel yaitu 5,333 > 2,010. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Make A Match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Mranggen 4. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Model Pembelajaran Make A Match, Matematika.

Abstract

Elika Meisari Zalukhu. The Relationship between Parental Verbal Violence and the Level of Self-Confidence of Early Childhood Children at Mission Kindergarten for the Nation, Cikarang. Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program. Faculty of Education. Panca Sakti University, Bekasi, 2025. This study analyzes the effect of parental verbal abuse and the self-confidence of early childhood children at Misi Bagi Bangsa Kindergarten, Cikarang. Researchers observed that some children at Misi Bagi Bangsa Kindergarten, Cikarang, still experience verbal abuse. This often leads to them being reluctant to speak up in front of their peers and even having difficulty expressing their opinions when teachers ask simple questions. This study aimed to determine whether parental verbal abuse positively impacts the self-confidence of early childhood children at Misi Bagi Bangsa Kindergarten, Cikarang. The researchers used a quantitative research method with simple multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that parental verbal abuse has a positive and significant impact on the self-confidence of early childhood children, with an influence value of 1.184 and a significance value of 0.00. The coefficient of determination (R-Square) was 0.809, indicating that overall, parental verbal abuse impacts operational efficiency by 80%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Joyful Learning and Ice Breaking strategies on the biology learning outcomes of 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 41 Jakarta. The research method used was an experiment with a quasi-experimental design, a non-equivalent control group design. The study population was 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 41 Jakarta, with a purposively selected sample of two classes. The research instrument was a multiple-choice biology learning outcome test. The results showed that: (1) the Joyful Learning strategy had a significant effect on student learning outcomes, and (2) the Ice Breaking strategy also had a significant effect on student learning outcomes, with an average score of 20.60% during the learning activities. The average score for students' biology learning activities in the observed components was 79.11%. The assessment of biology learning outcomes using daily tests and mid-term exams was 79.11%, representing an increase of approximately 30.57 points. Thus, the use of enjoyable and varied learning strategies significantly influences students' biology learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pekasam fish in Malay culture demonstrates that Pekasam is a traditional fermented fish product popular among Malay communities, particularly in Southeast Asia, such as Malaysia and Indonesia. The process of making pekasam involves marinating fish with salt, roasted rice, and other ingredients, then fermenting it for a period of time. The final product has a distinctive sour taste and a strong aroma. Many also say that pekasam fish contains lactic acid bacteria produced during the curing process. Pekasam is not just a food, but also part of Malay cultural heritage. The process of making it is often a hereditary skill maintained by families. This product also has economic value, especially for rural communities who produce and sell pekasam for a living. However, traditional pekasam production is often not standardized, resulting in variable product quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Cooperative Learning Model type Make a Match on the learning outcomes of grade V elementary school students in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is quantitative with the research method used is experimental research with the type of Quasi Experiment research using the research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection techniques using tests in the form of multiple choice questions. The subjects of this study were class VA totaling 20 students as the experimental class and class VB totaling 20 students as the control class. Researchers implemented Cooperative Learning type Make a Match in the experimental class and conventional methods in the control class. The results showed that the hypothesis test conducted using the t-test obtained a significance value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.007 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the two groups, namely the experimental class and the control class, which means that there is an effect of the cooperative learning model type make a match on the learning outcomes of IPAS in grade V elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning medium based on gamification using the Baamboozle platform for Grade IV elementary school students in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS), particularly on the topic The Influence of Force Around Us. The research was motivated by the continued use of conventional teaching methods that make students less active, easily bored, and struggle to understand abstract concepts. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), involving Grade IV students of SDN 01 Muaro Pingai as the research subjects. Data collection instruments included material and media expert validation, teacher and student response questionnaires, as well as pre-test and post-test assessments. The findings showed that the Baamboozle-based interactive medium was rated “highly valid” in terms of both content and design, and received “very positive” responses from teachers and students who found it easy to use, engaging, and helpful in understanding the material. Effectiveness testing through N-Gain analysis resulted in an average score of 71.67% categorized as “fairly effective,” with students’ comprehension improvement classified as “high.” Thus, the interactive gamified medium using Baamboozle proved to be valid, practical, and effective as an alternative learning tool for IPAS, and it is expected to serve as a reference for teachers in creating more enjoyable, interactive learning experiences that enhance students’ motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The background of this study is the large number of competitors in the scope of Padang restaurants around South Labuhanbatu so that there is a lack of public interest in Padang restaurant menus because many Padang restaurants still do not understand effective strategies in increasing their sales quantity, the obstacle that occurs is the increase in food prices due to the increase in basic ingredients. This study is a type of field research, this study uses a descriptive-qualitative method, where this study researchers collect data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. For data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions / verification. From the research conducted, it was found that the competitive strategy used by Padang Serba Restaurant uses a marketing mix strategy where the competitive strategy is carried out healthily by prioritizing the quality and service provided to consumers, by excelling in products, prices, promotions, places, and improving the quality of people involved in the business activities so that they are in accordance with the existing process and in accordance with the existing physical evidence.

Abstract

Social values ​​and norms play a central role in creating order and harmony in community life, particularly in rural areas. This study aims to describe how social values ​​and norms are applied in the daily lives of the people of Hamlet 2, Tanjung Rejo Village. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, with data collected through in-depth interviews with one key informant. The research findings indicate that the community still highly values ​​mutual cooperation, deliberation, and adherence to customary and formal regulations. Furthermore, the involvement of generations in maintaining security and social maintenance is also quite significant. Based on these results, it can be concluded that social values ​​and norms remain important guidelines in maintaining harmony, stability, and solidarity in rural community life.
