Abstract

Elementary school pupils' conflicts are a habitual occurrence in school life. Such conflicts frequently result from opinion disparity, rivalry in studies or external activities, emotional unreadiness, and shortage of knowledge regarding common values like tolerance, empathy, and cooperation. If not controlled, such conflicts may influence the classroom climate negatively, impede learning activities, and interfere with the students' character development. Therefore, schools need to implement strategic interventions that not only de-escalate conflict but also foster values that enable students to resolve conflict in a positive way. This study aims to explore the implementation of civic culture-based character education as a means of reducing interpersonal conflict among students at the elementary school level. The research used a qualitative descriptive research design with a case study approach. Data gathering was through observation in the classroom, semi-structured interviews from the teachers and students, and documentation of school events. Data analysis utilized Miles and Huberman's model of interactive analysis, which consists of data reduction, display of data, and conclusion drawing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan pengembangan e-modul menggunakan flipbook pada kelas v subtema 3 usaha pelestarian lingkungan pada kelas V SDN Pagelaran 03 Kabupaten Bogor serta mengetahui kelayakan e-Modul Berbasis flipbook terhadap proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakanan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan uji validasi kepada beberapa para ahli dibidang media, bidang bahasa, dan bidang materi untuk mengembangkan serta menyempurnakan produk e-modul menggunakan flipbook kepada siswa. Hasil data dari validasi ahli media 94,7% yang artinya e-modul sangat layak untuk di uji cobakan. Ahli bahasa diperoleh hasil 94,54% yang artinya dinyatakan sangat layak serta hasil dari ahli materi 86% yang dimana dinyatakan sangat layak untuk di uji cobakan. Serta berdasarkan uji coba yang telah dilakukan kepad siswa kelas V sebanyak 23 siswa memperoleh nilai yang layak untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran sebesar 87,66% yang dimana artinya produk E-Modul menggunakan flipbook ini sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning evaluation is an essential action needed to achieve executed activities in order to define the success rate of a program, including educational programs, by obtaining various relevant data comprehensively and continuously regarding the process and learning outcomes that have been acquired from the learning taught by the educators. The problems encountered in the field during the evaluation process are that students are less interested in the evaluations conducted by the teacher because the students feel bored with evaluation activities that are still carried out conventionally. Therefore, the researcher intends to develop a learning evaluation research product using the online web platform Wordwall.The problems investigated in this research are: 1) How is the Development of Wordwall-based Learning Evaluation in the six grade mathematics subject at SDN Megamendung 03? 2) What is the Feasibility of Wordwall-based Learning Evaluation in the six grade mathematics subject at SDN Megamendung 03? 3) What is the Practicality of Wordwall-based Learning Evaluation in the six grade mathematics subject at SDN Megamendung 03? The objectives of this research are: 1) To produce and Develop a Product in the form of Wordwall-based Learning Evaluation in the six grade mathematics subject at SDN Megamendung 03. 2) To determine the Feasibility of Developing Wordwall-based Learning Evaluation in the six grade mathematics subject at SDN Megamendung 03. 3) To test the Practicality of Developing Wordwall-based Learning Evaluation in the six grade mathematics subject at SDN Megamendung 03. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) type with the ADDIE model. The trial subjects were determined by the researcher. This research was conducted at SDN Megamendung 03. The data collection instruments used are interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study are: 1) The product produced is that students, who were initially bored and weary, become enthusiastic and happy. As for the teacher, who initially required extra energy and time, it becomes more practical to assess students' learning outcomes because the results are automatically recorded on Wordwall. 2) The overall average result from the evaluation experts was 97%, indicating that the Wordwall evaluation is very feasible to be tested on students, and the distribution of student response questionnaires yielded 89%, indicating that the Wordwall learning evaluation is very suitable for use. 3) The average result of the small-scale student response questionnaire obtained 88% with a very practical category, and the large-scale obtained a percentage of 86% with a very practical category, and the teacher response questionnaire obtained a percentage score of 95% with a Very Practical category. Thus, it can be concluded that this Wordwall-based learning evaluation is feasible to be implemented.

Abstract

Writing a scientific proposal is a crucial stage in student learning, yet many students face difficulties in structuring it. A literature review shows that research proposals are typically structured systematically with main chapters (Introduction, Literature Review, Research Methods) and additional components such as a research schedule and bibliography. The introduction of the proposal contains the background, problem statement, objectives, and benefits of the research, while the literature review section summarizes relevant previous studies. The Methods section contains the type of research, location and time, data sources, and data collection and analysis techniques. Several Indonesian studies also emphasize the importance of schedule and budget components in proposals. This study compares findings from various Indonesian language education journals to clarify the structure and micro-genres of student proposal texts. The results confirm the uniformity of the macro-structure of scientific proposals while highlighting variations in micro-genres within each section. Implications of this research include encouraging proposal writing instruction that focuses on mastering the structural framework and the appropriate use of micro genres.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between leadership styles implemented by leaders within an organization and the characteristics of the organization itself, as well as the resulting impact on organizational performance. Leadership styles include transformational, transactional, laissez-faire, and relational styles. Organizational characteristics include organizational culture, organizational structure, organizational climate, and organizational health. The impact on the organization is measured through organizational performance variables (productivity, innovation, effectiveness), employee or member satisfaction, organizational commitment, readiness for change, and loyalty. The research method used was qualitative, with a survey of several respondents from a student organization using a questionnaire adapted from the leadership style and organizational performance instrument. The results show that transformational and relational leadership styles have a significant positive influence on organizational performance, while laissez-faire leadership styles have a negative influence. Organizational structure and culture moderate the relationship between leadership style and performance. These findings suggest that leaders who implement a supportive, communicative, and visionary leadership style can increase organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the readiness of elementary school teachers at SD Negeri Cikaret 2 in implementing the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka). The research was motivated by the need to understand teachers’ level of preparedness in adapting to curriculum changes that emphasize student-centered learning, differentiated instruction, and project-based learning. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method supported by quantitative data to provide a comprehensive overview of teacher readiness. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and classroom observations involving ten teachers who actively participate in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The results indicate that the overall readiness of teachers at SD Negeri Cikaret 2 falls within the moderate category. Teachers show a positive attitude and willingness to adopt innovative learning models, but face challenges related to digital literacy, mastery of learning assessments, and limited access to training. Institutional support from the school and local education authorities is also identified as a crucial factor influencing teachers’ readiness. The study concludes that continuous professional development and improvement in school facilities are essential to enhance teachers’ competence and ensure the effective implementation of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low reading comprehension ability of third-grade students of SDN 85 Wanua Baru, where students tend to read texts without understanding the content of the reading. The speedreading method is considered effective in improving students' reading speed and comprehension. This studyaims to determine the effect of the speed reading method on students' reading comprehension ability. The type of research used is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were all 10 third- grade students of SDN 85 Wanua Baru. Data were obtained through reading comprehension tests (pretest and posttest) and observations. Data analysis was carried out usingdescriptive statistics and paired sample t-test using SPSS versionThe results showed that the average pretest score of students was 42.00 and increased to 92.00 in theposttest. The t-test produced a significance value of <0.001 (<0.05), which means there is a significant difference between the results before and after treatment. This proves that the speed reading method has a positive and significant effect on students' reading comprehension ability. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the speed reading method is able to improve the reading comprehension of grade III students at SDN 85 Wanua Baru.

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to improve the English vocabulary mastery of second-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Tangerang Selatan through the use of flashcards. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ vocabulary mastery. In the pre-cycle, only 39% of students achieved the minimum passing grade. After the first cycle, the percentage increased to 50%, and in the second cycle, it reached 92%. The findings suggest that flashcards are effective learning media in enhancing students’ vocabulary acquisition and motivation. Flashcards also provided an enjoyable learning atmosphere, preventing boredom during English lessons.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of substantive testing of account balances in detecting material misstatements in financial statements, using a case study of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The 2018 financial statement manipulation case drew significant attention due to its impact on investor confidence and capital market stability. Using a qualitative descriptive method through case study analysis, the research collected secondary data from audited financial statements and independent audit reports for the 2018–2019 period. The findings reveal that weaknesses in the execution of substantive testing of balances, particularly in revenue and accounts receivable, led to the failure to detect premature revenue recognition from long-term contracts, resulting in material misstatements. Comprehensive substantive testing through third-party confirmations, document verification, cut-off testing, application of professional skepticism, and auditor diligence is essential to uncover irregularities. The study concludes that substantive testing of balances is a fundamental instrument in detecting material misstatements, with significant implications for financial reporting transparency and public trust.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and empirically test the influence of leadership on the performance of the Medan City Manpower Office. The Manpower Office plays a crucial role in administering government affairs in the employment sector, which directly impacts public welfare and the investment climate in Medan City. Therefore, optimal performance is essential, one of which is strongly suspected to be influenced by leadership quality. This study uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to employees of the Medan City Manpower Office as a sample. The collected data are analyzed using simple or multiple linear regression methods (adjust to your design, for example: multiple linear regression analysis) to measure the contribution of leadership variables to performance variables. The results of this study are expected to provide empirical evidence regarding the significance of leadership's influence on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the office's work, as well as provide practical recommendations for the Medan City Government in its efforts to improve leadership quality within the bureaucracy, particularly in the Manpower Office.
