Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain the impact of motivation, teamwork, and work discipline on employee performance at the Environmental Law Enforcement and Forestry Security Office in Sumatra. In this study a quantitative descriptive methodology was used. The research encompasses a population of 350 individuals, from which a sample of 100 has been chosen. The independent variables consist of Motivation (X1), Teamwork (X2), and Work Discipline (X3), and the dependent variable is Work Performance (Y). In this study the datas were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research findings indicate that Motivation and Work Discipline have a substantial influence on staff performance at the Environmental Law Enforcement and Forestry Security Office in Sumatra. The results suggest that motivation, cooperation, and work discipline collectively account for 68.2% of the influence on employee performance at the Environmental Law Enforcement and Forestry Security Office in Sumatra. The remaining 31.8%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the work environment, work discipline and training on the performance of Nurcahaya School teachers. Technique sampling using a saturated sample technique, with the sample size is 21 teachers. Data collection using questionnaires, then processed and analyzed using descriptive and quantitative analysis. The results of this research show that: 1) Work Environment, Discipline Work and training together have a significant effect on the performance of Nurcahaya School teachers. 2) Work Environment, Work Discipline and Training partial positive and significant effect on Nurcahaya School Teacher Performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of product variations and marketing location on purchasing decisions at 900 Medan coffeeshops. The sampling technique used in this research used nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling, so that the total sample obtained was 100 respondents. The data collection techniques used were literature study, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is a multiple linear regression model and hypothesis testing, t test, f test and coefficient of determination. The data has previously been tested using validity tests, reliability tests and classical assumptions, data processing using SPSS 26.0 for windows. Based on the test results, it shows that product variations and marketing locations have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Based on the R Square statistical test in this research, it was 0.645 or 64.5%, this shows that purchasing decision variables can be influenced by product variation variables and marketing location.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Pelatihan, Komunikasi dan Lingkungan Kerja berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Dosen Tetap pada Prodi Sarjana Manajemen Universitas Prima Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap Dosen Tetap pada Prodi Sarjana Manajemen Universitas Prima Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 orang. Dikarenakan jumlah populasi sedikit, maka teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu sampel jenuh dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah data primer berupa kuesioner dan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan data kuantitatif yang diolah dengan program SPSS versi 25, yaitu uji t (uji parsial), uji F (uji simultan) dan uji koefisien Determinasi (R2). Hasil yang didapat dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Pelatihan terhadap Kinerja, 2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Komunikasi terhadap Kinerja, 3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Kinerja, dan 4) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Pelatihan, Komunikasi dan Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Kinerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja, pelatihan, dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Tbk KC Medan. Dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diisi oleh 131 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja, pelatihan, dan motivasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Lingkungan kerja yang kondusif meningkatkan produktivitas, pelatihan yang efektif meningkatkan kompetensi, dan motivasi yang tinggi mendorong karyawan untuk bekerja lebih optimal. Variabel-variabel tersebut menjelaskan 68,8% pengaruh dari variabel independen terhadap kinerja karyawan, sementara 31,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Disarankan agar perusahaan meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan kerja, menyediakan program pelatihan yang relevan, dan mendorong motivasi karyawan melalui penghargaan dan pengembangan karier untuk mencapai kinerja yang lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of price, location, and service quality variables on purchasing decisions at Ayam Khas Nusantara Suzuya Marelan Plaza. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who were customers of Ayam Khas Nusantara Suzuya Marelan Plaza. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to test the effect of independent variables (price, location, and service quality) on the dependent variable (purchase decision). The results showed that price, location, and service quality significantly influenced the decision to purchase Ayam Khas Nusantara at Suzuya Marelan. Among the three variables, service quality has the most dominant influence on purchasing decisions. The amount of influence found was 64.2%, the rest was influenced by variables not examined in this study. These findings provide managerial implications for Suzuya Marelan to continue to maintain and improve service quality, as well as consider price and location factors in marketing strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

In the digital era, it is important for students to prepare for their future careers. Career development or preparation can be through seminars, webinars, educational videos from influencers, work readiness training workshops and even from within the students themselves. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation on the work readiness of students at Sanata Dharma University. The author uses multiple regression as an analysis technique (SPSS 25 software). The method of determining the sample with purposive sampling with data collection methods using online questionnaire distribution using google form. The research sample was 113 students. The conclusion of the study is that self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation in students have a positive influence on the work readiness of Sanata Dharma University students. The greater the level of self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation in students, the greater the level of work readiness of Sanata Dharma University Yogyakarta students.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of country risk on Non-Bank Financial Intermediaries (NBFIs) in Sub-Saharan Africa and their role in credit intermediation between 2000 and 2022. NBFIs, crucial to emerging economies, provide credit to individuals and businesses, especially where formal institutions fall short. Using a fixed effects model with corrected standard errors on panel data from 30 Sub-Saharan African countries, the study compares the effects of country risk on NBFIs and traditional banks. Findings show that while country risk negatively affects NBFI lending, the impact is insignificant, contrasting with its significant negative effect on traditional bank credit. Financial development has a divergent effect, boosting traditional banks credit but hindering NBFIs. Furthermore, regulatory quality positively influences credit growth in both sectors, while the banking sector enhances NBFI activities and vice versa. These findings offer valuable insights for policymakers and regulators, highlighting NBFIs' vital role in sustaining credit flow amid rising country risk in Africa's evolving financial landscape.

Abstract

Leadership in sustainability within the field of economics requires the ability to guide policies and strategies that prioritize environmental health, social equity, and long-term economic viability. This paper presents a framework for leadership that integrates the principles of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasizing the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in identifying sustainability opportunities. Effective leaders must balance economic activities with their impacts on the environment and society, promote economic diversification, and advocate for sustainable practices through policy and regulation.The research employs an Integral Research methodology, combining descriptive, narrative, theoretical, experimental, and survey methods to explore leadership in sustainability. This approach considers the symbolic "four worlds"—South (nature and community), East (culture and spirituality), North (reason), and West (enterprise and structure)—which influence the values and behaviours of societies, organizations, and individuals. Key elements of the proposed leadership framework include vision and strategy, innovation and adaptation, ethical decision-making, policy regulation, education and awareness, measurement and accountability, and crisis management. The framework also emphasizes the importance of global collaboration, such as the Paris Agreement, and the need for leaders to build resilient economic systems capable of adapting to climate change. Leadership in sustainability issues in economics should align economic growth with environmental stewardship. This can be achieved by strengthening policy frameworks, fostering transformational leadership, integrating ESG criteria, enhancing stakeholder engagement, promoting innovation, encouraging global collaboration, implementing transparent monitoring systems, and fostering consumer awareness for sustainable products.

Abstract

Solat merupakan rukun Islam yang kedua selepas mengucap dua kalimah syahadah yang wajib dilaksanakan oleh setiap umat Islam. Ibadah solat adalah bentuk komunikasi antara seorang hamba dengan Penciptanya. Tujuan kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenal pasti pengetahuan, pengamalan solat, mengenal pasti kesan ibadah solat terhadap tingkah laku dan kepimpinan serta menganalisis hubungan ibadah solat dengan tingkah laku dan kepimpinan diri pelajar sekolah menengah kebangsaan Tok Dor. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk tinjauan dan teknik persampelan rawak mudah. Responden kajian terdiri daripada 175 murid tingkatan satu hingga tiga sekolah menengah kebangsaan Tok Dor di daerah Besut, Terengganu. Instrumen kajian yang digunakan adalah soal selidik. Manakala data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk menerangkan data dan metode inferensi untuk melihat hubungan antara pemboleh ubah. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa tahap pengetahuan dan pengamalan solat fardhu dalam kalangan pelajar adalah tinggi. Selain itu, analisis mendapati bahawa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan, pengamalan solat dengan kesan ibadah solat terhadap tingkah laku dan kepimpinan diri. Oleh itu, kajian ini mencadangkan agar pihak sekolah dan ibu bapa meneruskan serta memperkasa program keagamaan bagi mengekalkan dan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pengamalan solat dalam kalangan pelajar, dengan harapan dapat melahirkan pelajar yang berakhlak mulia, berdisiplin, bertanggungjawab dan mampu membuat keputusan yang bijak serta mampu menetapkan matlamat dan berusaha mencapainya dengan penuh ketekunan.
