Abstract

All living things are very dependent on water. Its existence and function are the source of life for all creatures on earth. This research article studies how to construct intakes to support water supply to optimal levels of processing before distribution activities to the community take place. The community's need for clean water is very necessary according to their daily needs. The problem is that if adequate intake development and construction is not carried out, then a shortage of distribution to the community occurs at any time. This is the reason why the local government is obliged to build an intake that functions as an addition to the capacity of clean water in processing IPA for the community. This research applies a survey method with the ultimate goal of developing an intake development system in Longalo, Bone Bolango. This designed system practically does not require permits for environmental protection and management considering its position on a relatively small scale to support the IPA function in Longalo, Bone Bolango.

Abstract

The research focuses on evaluating the project time planning to know exactly when the project will be completed, the estimated budget to be spent, using the CPM and PERT methods to carry out an analysis of the SDS X Development Project Planning Evaluation. The results are with the CPM and PERT methods, the project's critical path is found in activities A – D – E – F – G – H – I – L – M – N with a project completion time using the CPM method is 52 days, while for the PERT method the project completion time is 54 days with a great chance of completing project work of 99, 94%. As for the results of the evaluation of cost planning using the crashing project method, it was found that there was an increase in costs of Rp. 6,902,000. So that the normal cost of a development project which is IDR 372,126.00 becomes IDR 379,028,000

Abstract

PT Kunango Jantan is one of the private companies engaged in manufacturing and trading. One of the products produced is Street Light Pole (PJU). The production of these PJU poles also faces various challenges. Commonly faced challenges are related to several types of waste on the production floor. This research aims to identify waste on the production floor of PJU poles using a lean manufacturing approach. The results indicate that the top three waste percentages are 18.9% for transportation activities, 17.62% for waiting activities, and 15.46% for defects. Some factors causing these wastages include frequent machine breakdowns, depletion of raw materials due to the lack of raw material scheduling implementation, and frequent transportation during production. Improvement recommendations to reduce waste include scheduling machine maintenance, planning raw material control, and adjusting machine layouts to minimize repetitive transportation.

Abstract

In this research, a money storage box security system will be designed. The box designed is a box equipped with a vibration sensor and a GPS module, where vibrations due to lifting or if someone carries it triggers an alarm in the form of a buzzer that sounds and the control system is based on the NodeMCU ESP8266 which immediately sends a warning message and also a Google Maps link to the application. The most competitive Telegram is paid for by smartphone so it can be taken quickly to prevent it. Create a secure storage box based on Arduino Uno and Telegram and design a security system to find the location of the box via GPS with notification media via Telegram. The hardware used is an ultraisonic sensor to measure the height of the box from the floor, an IR Proximity sensor as an object detector, a fingerprint to open the box, a buzzer as an alarm, a solenoid lock to lock the box, GPS as a guide if the box is stolen, and an ESP8266 NodeMCU as an input process and output. By utilizing wifi from the NodeMCU ESP8266 as a link between the device and the cellphone.

Abstract

According to data from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF), Indonesia will produce 19.45 million tons of waste by 2022. Of the total amount of waste, 882.03 thousand tons of it is waste from North Sumatra. This amount of waste makes North Sumatra the seventh largest waste producer in Indonesia. Pematang Johar Village is one of five villages located in Labuhan Deli Sub-district, Deli Serdang Regency. The village consists of 18 hamlets, one of which is hamlet XV Suka Mulia. Hamlet XV is a hamlet that is labeled as an ecobrick hamlet, because hamlet XV is the first hamlet to bring and apply plastic waste processing with the ecobrick method. The application of this ecobrick has been running since five years ago until now. In this research, the method used is a qualitative method supported by literature studies. Abstract

The application of the Sanjai Sukarasa chips marketing strategy to customer satisfaction using the STP and 4P methods. This study aims to analyze marketing strategies, customer satisfaction, and provide recommendations to improve the marketing of Sanjai Sukarasa chips products. The research method applied is a quantitative approach by collecting data through filling out questionnaires. The results showed that the company uses a differentiation marketing strategy with a focus on product quality and promotion. In addition, consumer satisfaction with Sanjai Sukarasa chips products is quite high, but there are still several things that need to be improved. The recommendations given include improving product quality, increasing promotion, and developing new products.

Abstract

Dalam teori, parameter dan distribusi permintaan diketahui, tetapi dalam praktiknya, berbagai ketidakpastian membuatnya sulit untuk menentukan faktor-faktor ini, terutama karena permintaan yang sporadis dan tidak terduga. Permintaan untuk produk oil country tubular goods (OCTG) bersifat fluktuatif dan tidak teratur, dan persediaan keselamatan adalah strategi umum untuk mengelola ketidakpastian pasokan dan permintaan. Ada beberapa metode yang tersedia untuk meramalkan permintaan yang tidak teratur, seperti model statistik, deret waktu, Croston, dan metode deep learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode long short-term memory (LSTM) untuk meramalkan permintaan OCTG dan membandingkannya dengan metode autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA), dengan menggunakan data penjualan dari periode tertentu. Untuk menilai akurasi ramalan, tingkat kesalahan dihitung, termasuk mean square error (MSE), root mean square error (RMSE), dan mean absolute error (MAE). Meskipun baik metode LSTM maupun ARIMA tidak memberikan hasil yang memuaskan dengan menggunakan data penjualan harian, data penjualan bulanan menghasilkan hasil yang lebih baik. Dengan menggunakan data 6 bulan, baik LSTM maupun ARIMA menghasilkan hasil yang relatif baik, dengan LSTM menunjukkan kesalahan yang lebih kecil daripada ARIMA. Mengingat waktu pembelian pipa hijau dari pemasok sekitar 5 bulan, data kumulatif terbatas pada 6 bulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, metode LSTM dapat digunakan untuk meramalkan permintaan produk OCTG dan menentukan tingkat persediaan keselamatan yang diperlukan.

Abstract

The earth's surface consists of 71% water, water itself has unique characteristics, both physical and chemical. The Kampar river basin has a direct influence on the quality of groundwater (wells) for the residents of Kampung Baru Salo Hamlet. This is because this area is directly adjacent to the Kampar river, ground water (wells) in every house of the residents of Kampung Baru Hamlet is used for daily needs such as consumption, bathing and washing. Along with rapid population growth, the need for clean water is also increasing. This is one of the problems that occurs in Kampung Baru Hamlet, namely the lack of groundwater (wells) that is clean and suitable for consumption. The research carried out by the author discusses how to design a portable water purifier that is efficient and uses easily available materials. This design was carried out using the Nigel cross method. Data collection was carried out by giving questionnaires to 25 respondents who experienced difficulties with clean well water (fit for consumption). Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the researchers concluded that portable water purifiers can overcome the problem of lack of clean water that occurs in the community and also that the materials for making them are easy to obtain so that people can make them at home. Based on the results of consumption standard testing, the water produced from this filtration process meets the standard consumption requirements, namely 7 - 9 pH.

Abstract

Sales forecasting is a highly crucial strategy in the business world, as it significantly contributes to enhancing a company's profits. In this context, sales transaction forecasting plays a vital role in assisting business decision-makers in planning effective sales strategies. The utilization of the Holt-Winters Exponential Smoothing method in sales forecasting demonstrates an effective approach. In this study, this method was applied to retail sales data of Muslim clothing from 2021 to 2023. By setting the parameters ? = 0.9, ? = 0.1, and ? = 0.1, the forecasting results indicate a high level of accuracy with low values for Mean Squared Error (MSE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), amounting to 29.93, 295.93, and 0.62%, respectively. Consequently, the forecast reveals that the inventory of clothing for periods 13 to 16 is 83, 228, 129, and 115, respectively

Abstract

Salak dates are one of the iconic snack from Bojonegoro city. The production process turns out a long time because the drying process takes 3 (three) days. Improvement of the drying process with tools is expected to be a solution to achieve production efficiency of Salak Dates. The design of this drying oven is a research in the field of simple technology design with the aim of achieving production efficiency. This research uses the QFD (Quality Function Deployment) method and the ergonomic aspects for the user. The QFD aspect is used to find out what the user wants in achieving the desired product according to user needs. While the Ergonomic aspect is used as a consideration size of the product to be made can be safe and comfortable while being used. The combination of these two methods is expected to make drying oven products effective and appropriate.
