Abstract

Plant X requires pressurized gas in the refrigeration system unit, which plays an important role in the smooth operation of the production system. This is because propane gas is used as a support for the main operating system in the manufacture of LPG. More precisely as a cooling medium for tools called Chiller and Sub-Cooler. To obtain the pressurized propane gas, a screw compressor type positive displacement compressor is used. Propane Compressor C-440 A has a function, namely to circulate propane gas which is used to cool or lower the temperature of hydrocarbon gas. Considering the important role of the Propane Compressor C-440 A screw compressor, it is necessary to optimize it to determine the performance of the compressor. Optimization steps need to be carried out to find the most effective and efficient operating conditions. By lowering the suction temperature and increasing the rotational speed of the rotor. The reference parameter is that the targeted capacity has increased by 9%, resulting in the actual calculation of 30614.40 cfm and optimization of 30902.03 cfm. The mass flow rate is targeted to increase by 4%, resulting in an actual calculation of 627.92 lbm/min and an optimization of 654.80 lbm/min. With this, it can be calculated that the economic value is 26.89 lbm/min.

Abstract

The Eastern Development Region (WP Timur) of Bogor Regency, consisting of 7 districts, holds a strategic position and is experiencing rapid development. WP Timur is currently in the process of forming a new "Bogor Timur" Regency and is also the site of several national strategic projects. Infrastructure development, particularly road networks, must be able to anticipate the region's growth and changing needs. To improve the management of road infrastructure, an evaluation of the road network's performance is required.. The methodology involves (1) comparing the existing road variable values with the performance standards set by government regulations, (2) analyzing the connectivity index of the county road network, and (3) conducting an integrative assessment based on the analysis of various variables. The results of this research indicate that (1) Cariu District meets the standards for 8 road performance variables, including having good connectivity. Jonggol, Sukamakmur, and Tanjungsari Districts meet 5 variables with deficiencies in accessibility, mobility, road condition, and connectivity. Gunung Putri, Cileungsi, and Klapanunggal Districts meet only 3 variables with deficiencies in accessibility, mobility, and road condition. Gunung Putri and Cileungsi have low traffic loads, while Klapanunggal lacks connectivity. (2) New road construction is needed in Gunung Putri, Cileungsi, Klapanunggal, and Jonggol Districts based on Accessibility SPM, and in Gunung Putri, Cileungsi, Klapanunggal, Sukamakmur, and Tanjungsari Districts based on Mobility SPM. The construction of new roads aims to anticipate increased traffic volume and enhance connectivity. (3) Efforts are required to improve road conditions and maintenance in the 6 districts other than Cariu based on Road Condition SPM

Abstract

Student attendance aims to monitor the level of student attendance and discipline students. Recording student attendance which is currently done manually on paper can be improved, so as to improve the quality of attendance data processing, service quality and systems in the STAIN Bengkalis Accounting study program. This research aims to develop an Android-based STAIN Bengkalis accounting attendance information design that can be used on lecturers' and students' mobile devices. SDLC is the method used to develop the design of Android-based STAIN Bengkalis accounting attendance information in this research. The Android-based STAIN Bengkalis accounting attendance information design can facilitate lecturers and students in carrying out the daily attendance process.

Abstract

The information system in designing a web-based information system for new student admissions at SMAN 1 Bengkalis still uses a manual system.This design aims to develop the technology usedCurrently, such as designing the admissions information system at SMAN 1 Bengkalis. Admission of new students still often experiences problems such as data collection and the process of admission information which is still done manually through ledgers, so it takes a lot of time and energy to search for student data. In designing this information system, the SDLC method is used, the function of which is to develop and design high quality software. This information system uses a programming language.

Abstract

A Web-Based Employee Recruitment Information System or e-Recruitment can be used as a solution in handling the employee recruitment process in a company. With a web-based employee recruitment information system or e-recruitment, companies can choose the right employees for their company themselves. Apart from that, companies can also process applicant data in a database so that applicant data does not accumulate in the filing cabinet. In this research, the author discusses how to design a web-based employee recruitment information system. The system development methodology used is Human Centered Design. The system was built using the PHP programming language, database server with MySQL. The result to be achieved from this research is that the web-based employee recruitment information system is expected to be able to assist the company's HRD department in the employee recruitment process and make it easier for managers to view employee recruitment reports.

Abstract

Mini rengginang is a traditional Indonesian food which has been innovated into a snack and can be consumed by all groups, both young and old. This research aims to identify and implement innovative marketing strategies to increase market penetration of mini rengginang products in the snack food industry. The SWOT evaluation method is used to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats associated with a product in a competitive market. Meanwhile, the application of the marketing mix aims to optimize product, price, promotion and distribution elements in order to achieve the specified marketing objectives. By integrating these two methods, this research seeks to provide a comprehensive view of how to address market challenges, identify competitive advantages, and adapt marketing strategies to gain a competitive edge in the ever-evolving snack food industry.

Abstract

One important role in business operations is based on inventory, which is the underlying principle of business. Therefore, a business must be able to predict potential problems as well as potential traps in inventory management in order to the ultimate goal, namely to reduce the total cost to be borne by inventory. Pawon mas herman is one of the bakso shops in Pekanbaru that has been established since 1998. Pawon mas herman is experiencing a fairly rapid business expansion, but a lack of management system or methods to buy or collect raw materials, causes this restaurant to suffer from material shortages or even raw materials shortfalls during the hours of operation. To ensure the business continues from the production process and avoid stopping or collapse due to a shortage of raw materials namely meat and chicken, pawon masherman needs to have a proper plan. The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is used to help in solving problems in particular requirements related to the supply of raw materials. The result of this study is that by using the EOQ method, Pawon Mas Herman farm can save shipping costs up to Rs. 4,740,000. Because, based on the calculations completed using the eOQ technique, the owner of the farm must make meat orders every 7 days, weighing at least 7 kg of meat each time ordering. Pawon Mas Herman is advised to use the EOQ method for control of supplies, there is a significant cost difference.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company operating in the footwear industry. To be able to produce quality products, companies determine product CTQ so that a product is said to be a quality product. However, due to various factors, there are still products that do not meet the CTQ or are said to be defective products. To overcome this problem, the method used for analysis is the DMAI (Define, Measure, Analyze, and Improve) approach which is used to identify processes that are problematic and indicated to cause defective products, find out the factors that cause this to happen and find alternative solutions that are most likely to Next, the design and designing of the proposed tools is carried out using the reverse engineering method where the RE method focuses on developing existing products by adapting user needs. The proposed design of the auxiliary tool is an automatic timer that is integrated directly with the lasting machine and is connected to the timer in the lasting machine using a Programmable Logic Controller which will instruct that the gluing time on the front, side and back of the shoe is four seconds each. With the auxiliary tool This design proposal is expected to reduce the percentage of defects so that it does not exceed 1% by reducing the frequency of slanted lasting defects and upper defects (related to upper tears) and can increase the sigma value which is better than the existing condition.

Abstract

The feeder resilience project is a network development project in the form of feeders that can be restored effectively and efficiently by PT XYZ. The project has risks that can have an impact on several factors, namely productivity, performance, quality and changes in costs on the project. With this, there is a need for further risk analysis and design (risk register) to find out what risks will occur and know how to respond to risks (risk response) using a probability & impact matrix to determine the priority of risks that will occur. The method used is a qualitative method because it can create subjective design results based on real phenomena according to events in the field on projects by performing qualitative risk analysis. The risk identification that has been obtained will be assessed based on the probability of the risk occurring and the resulting impact including time, cost, quality, safety & security, and scope by relevant stakeholders and continued with determining the risk response that will be carried out. It was found that there were 175 risks that had been identified in the risk register with two types of risks, namely positive risks/opportunities and negative risks/threats and risk responses were determined to handle the risks.

Abstract

PT XYZ is an Aerospace company in Asia which operates in the aircraft industry, where the production process is still not running well because defects are still found. Efforts made by the company to prevent defects occur are by giving warnings or warnings to production process operators to increase their caution in working, but these efforts are still unable to prevent defective products from occurring. Based on these problems, the method used at the design proposal stage is the Six Sigma method with the DMAI and Reverse Engineering approaches. Six Sigma is a method of identifying and eliminating variability, Reverse Engineering is a method of product development from existing products. The stages of these two methods are integrated to improve the material handling process for D-Nose Ifle Exterior Panel components which have the highest frequency of defects appearing due to the position of component placement which is carried out in a stacked manner and the use of safeguards on the MHE is not appropriate. The proposed design made is a trolley. The aim of designing the trolley is to overcome the occurrence of scratch & damage defects by changing the dimensions and capacity of the trolley to be suitable for loading a maximum of 4 D-Nose Ifle Exterior Panel components without stacking them and using rubber guards to protect the components, so that the company can carry out material processing effective handling without damaging product quality. With the proposed trolley, it is hoped that it can minimize the number of defects by 46.88% of the previous number of defects and can also increase the process capability from the existing sigma level of 3.896 sigma to a new sigma level value of 4.119 sigma, which means an increase of 0.223 sigma.
