Abstract

The dairy cattle business in DKI Jakarta has been hereditary and has been increasing. This increase also has an impact on the environment around the farm, including pollution due to unpleasant odors, water pollution, soil pollution and the presence of annoying flies. The public's perception of the dairy business is very diverse, therefore the author conducted an analysis of the public's perception of the dairy business. Data collection was carried out in Pancoran District, South Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. Data was obtained through distributing questionnaires to residents and after interviews were processed using the ultrasound method and Linkert Scale. From the results of data processing, it was found that the community was disturbed by pollution due to unpleasant odors, water pollution, soil pollution and the presence of annoying flies. The proposal to overcome environmental impacts is made by turning cow faeces into organic fertilizer and biogas. Handling environmental impacts well can have a social impact and also provide many benefits to the surrounding community.

Abstract

The basic idea behind lean manufacturing is eliminating waste, which is something that does not add value to the product. In the plastics industry, the application of lean manufacture can maximize production results by reducing the waste that occurs. Lean manufacturing is a method that has a focus on eliminating non-value-added activities or known as waste. One of the waste that occurs in the plastic injection industry is the length of time for changing the mold. In addition to the lean manufacturing method in reducing mold replacement time, there is also the Single Minutes Exchange of Dies (SMED) method. The results showed that applying this method reduced the time for changing the mold by 42.6%

Abstract

This research was conducted at the employee cooperative of PT. XYZ to identify the quality of service provided by the company cooperative to employees of PT. XYZ and provide suggestions for improving service quality which is the main priority for improvements. The method used in this research is the service quality method and Importance performance analysis with a quantitative observation model, this research begins in July 2023 - August 2023. The respondents in this research are all employees of PT. The sampling method was taken based on Slovin's formulation and then the results were obtained from 95 people. The results of research that had been carried out throughout the GAP on five Servqual dimensions had negative values including tangible (-0.11), reliability (-0.35), responsiveness (-0.10), assurance (-0.11), and empathy (-0.39), so the entire gap has a negative value, namely employee satisfaction with the PT cooperative. XYZ has not been fulfilled. Corrective actions that must be implemented by the management of the PT employee cooperative. XYZ, based on the results of the Importance performance analysis on the Cartesian diagram, can be seen in quadrant A which is the quadrant with the main priority that needs improvement. There are 2 attributes in quadrant A including employees not looking at customer status in providing services (E2) and recording orders and transactions accurately (R2).

XYZ, which is in Dukun District, uses the QFD (Quality Function Deployment) method using data processing from questionnaires, interviews and surveys. shows the customer's desire rating for the company to lower the marketed price slightly so that customers do not change to other services.

Abstract

Threshing is the post-harvest handling stage after the harvesting process. Threshing is an integral part of the palm post-harvest handling process. The harvested oil palms are threshed to separate the fruit from the bunches. The threshing process is carried out so that small oil palm fruits or oil palm fruit bunches weighing below 5 kg can be accepted at the palm oil mill. Generally, the weight of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) under 5 kilograms is not sold, so before being taken to the palm oil mill, it must be threshed first so that the palm oil becomes brondolan or grains of palm oil that can be accepted by the palm oil mill. In this final project, the author designed a small oil palm fruit threshing machine from the bunches aimed at increasing the profits of farmers or oil palm entrepreneurs, because small oil palm fruits can be accepted at palm oil mills. In this design, the driving engine uses a fuel motor motor with a power of 7 HP.

Abstract

Spare part inventory is very important for the continuity of forklift repair and maintenance activities at PT. XYZ. Currently it is not known which spare part inventory groups are in higher demand (fast moving) compared to other spare parts. This can have an impact on determining inaccurate inventory amounts. This research aims to determine which spare part groups are fast moving, slow moving and non-moving based on turnover ratio. From the results of calculations for 45 types of spare parts, there are 23 types of goods that are fast moving, 14 types of goods are slow moving and 6 types of goods are non-moving, while the other 2 do not have an inventory turnover ratio. Based on these groupings, the Company can determine the optimal order quantity to avoid stock shortages for fast moving goods.

Abstract

PT Kreasi Kemas Indonesia is a company that produces various types of cardboard with a make to order system. The percentage of defects in the printing process on the longway machine for the 2022 production period is 2.16% of the 2% set by the company. The Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) approaches are combined to determine the causes of defects and 5W + 1H as an improvement method. The purpose of this study is to determine the causes of defects and provide suggestions for improvement. The results showed that the causes of the largest defects with the highest RPN values were missed trial print inspection (720), imprecise sheet side clamp settings (576), and non-standard trial print (630). The recommended improvement suggestions are to conduct a more detailed and comprehensive review and sorting process during the trial printing process, provide regular socialization and assistance regarding quality assurance policies that can refer to ISO 9001: 2015 to operators, and conduct routine maintenance of all machine components

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility is social responsibility for companies as a real effort for companies to contribute to realizing the welfare of society. The incidence of forest and land fires in Riau, especially Bengkalis Regency, is a social issue that is a serious problem for the central and regional governments. The problem formulation of this research is how CSR Pertamina RU II Sungai Pakning involves the community in the process of mitigating forest and land fires. The aim of this research is to determine the process of forest fire mitigation through the CSR program of cultivating peat forest honey. The research method uses qualitative, because this research was conducted to determine, pay attention to and understand problems in social phenomena. The results of this research are that the Biene Honey Group is a pioneer in making people aware of honey seekers in the forest using traditional methods. In the future, it is hoped that PT. Pertamina RU II Sungai Pakning to be sustainable to continue the CSR program. as an effort to improve the welfare of the surrounding community.

Abstract

PT Amanah Insanillahia is a Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) company that has been operating for a long time and prioritizes quality as a company strategy. There are various criteria for problems faced by the company, including quality problems in the production of drinking water in 240 ml bottles. Six sigma can be defined as a methodology that provides tools to reduce process variations and improve product quality using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) method. The purpose of this research is to determine the company's current sigma level and provide suggestions for improvements that suit the company. From the research results it can be concluded that there are 3 potential CTQs, namely imperfect cup, lack of water and machine pinching, with an average (CL) defect of 0.320, and an average DPMO of 106,476. The sigma level value is 2,77. Then the next stage is carried out by analyzing the causes of the cup not meeting standards, lack of water and being pinched by the machine. It is known that defect factors come from machine, material, method and human factors.

Abstract

PT EFG is a lubricant company that maintains customer satisfaction by producing quality products, starting from supply of raw materials, production process until final product. Company tries to minimize damage, but there are still many leaking products and not according to standards. This study aims to control quality using seven tools method to reduce leaking bottles of 800ml size, from January-October 2022, the biggest is fish eyes. The highest amount of damage occurred in June at 0.0039%, exceeding the maximum damage limit of 0.003%. Improvements are divided by external and internal. External, from the supplier are cleaning the mold cavity, cleaning remaining material on the mold, and maintaining the cleanliness of plastic seeds. Suppliers ensure the leak tester are detected and not sent to PT EFG. Internal, are carried out by improving the leak detection of the led light table machine and changing the random sampling method when material incoming from suppliers.
