Abstract

Application of foam mortar technology for bridge approach construction in the Bridge Replacement project Tj. Redeb - Bts. Bulungan provided significant cost efficiency. With the construction method half of the old bridge section remained in use for traffic lanes, while the other half was dismantled and rebuilt using foam mortar. After the foam mortar reached sufficient strength in 14 days, traffic could be diverted to the new bridge, so the remaining half of the bridge could be demolished and rebuilt using the same method, eliminating the need for temporary bridge construction and relocation of affected buildings, which are generally costly. Analyses showed that construction using foam mortar could save up to 10.77% over the conventional preferred backfill method, reducing total expenditure from IDR 7.3 billion to approximately IDR 6.59 billion. Additional benefits include a reduction in the need for retaining walls and an accelerated implementation time, thanks to its self-compacting properties and rapid hardening in 14 days.

Abstract

The advancement of technology continues to progress to meet society's need for efficiency and convenience in work, including improving time productivity in structural tasks such as pile foundation installation in construction projects. This research aims to analyze time efficiency and compare the field Budget Plan (RAB) costs with the SNI 2022 Budget Plan (RAB) costs for pile foundation installation. The study was conducted using unstructured interview methods with the site manager to gather primary data from the construction project of PT. Gudang Garam Tbk's cigarette depot building. A quantitative method was applied in this research. The analysis revealed that for the installation of 152 pile units, the highest time productivity was recorded at 0.384 m/min or 23,07 m/hour, the lowest at 0.192 m/min or 11,51 m/hour, and an average installation rate of 0.282 m/min or 16,95 m/hour. Additionally, this study also obtained a comparison between the field RAB (Budget Plan) costs and the SNI 2022 RAB costs. The field RAB cost for pile installation was Rp287,280,000,-. Meanwhile, the SNI 2022 RAB cost for pile installation was Rp441,663,676,-.

Abstract

Construction projects are bound by predefined schedules and budgets established from the outset. This study aims to optimize time and cost through a 3-hour daily overtime intervention, focusing on evaluating schedule acceleration effectiveness and resource efficiency. The Time Cost Trade Off (TCTO) method was applied via crashing techniques, systematically calculating cost-time trade-offs. Analysis centered on critical paths identified using the Critical Path Method (CPM), with schedule compression achieved through additional work hours. The findings reveal that the project duration was reduced from 180 days to 145 days, achieving a 35-day reduction (19.4%). This outcome demonstrates that targeted overtime interventions on critical activities optimize time allocation without compromising cost control, while affirming the relevance of the TCTO-CPM integrated approach in construction project management. overtime wages.

Abstract

The PPLP Banten Building construction project experienced significant delays due to the extension of the implementation time, design revisions (shop drawings), and inaccurate material delivery. This study implemented a schedule compression strategy using Microsoft Project with two acceleration alternatives based on the AHSP standard. The crashing research method. The results of the study showed that the project duration was successfully shortened by 678 days with the 4-hour/day overtime alternative, while further work shift optimization reduced the duration to 530 days. Cost analysis showed differences between the two alternatives: with 4-hour/day overtime, the acceleration cost reached IDR3,066,675,000 (AHSP), while the work shift only cost IDR1,223,565,000 (AHSP). Comparison of cost slopes strengthened the advantages of work shifts: 4-hour/day overtime resulted in a cost slope of IDR193,067,245.23/day (AHSP), while the work shift only cost IDR33,638,199.58/day (AHSP). Evaluation of total costs (direct and indirect) also confirmed the efficiency of work shifts, with direct costs of Rp9,512,731,986.58 and indirect costs of Rp1,273,456,116.78, compared to 4 hours/day of overtime which required direct costs of Rp9,672,161,032.20 and indirect costs of Rp1,322,728,805.77.

Abstract

The large market share for occupational health and safety training institutions makes training institutions want to know the right strategy in marketing so that the market share can be optimally absorbed. The method for determining the marketing strategy used is the SOAR method, then analyzed using EFAS and IFAS to determine the best marketing strategy. After the research was conducted and the analysis, the best strategy was obtained in the SOAR method, namely the strategy in the SO (Strength - Opportunity) quadrant with the activity of opening training with new topics related to occupational health and safety that attract consumers to take part in training, opening cooperation with campuses and providing student prices that can attract the attention of students and campuses so that they can work together, participating in government services related to special training obligations, adding admin and reviewing cooperation with the party providing professional certificates so that they can carry out administration quickly.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of price, riding safety, and service quality on GoRide customer satisfaction in Tegal Regency using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. Data were collected from 100 GoRide users through a 5-point Likert-scale questionnaire. SmartPLS 4.1.0.9 was used to assess the validity and reliability of the research instrument, and to evaluate both the measurement (outer) and structural (inner) models. The results show that all outer loading values exceed 0.7 and Average Variance Extracted (AVE) values are above 0.5, indicating good validity and reliability. The inner model analysis confirms that price, riding safety, and service quality significantly affect customer satisfaction, with riding safety having the strongest impact. These findings suggest that service providers should focus on improving safety standards, enhancing service quality, and ensuring price transparency to boost customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Electric reliability of the electrical distribution network is an essential element in ensuring the smooth supply of energy to customers. At ULP Singkil, feeder SI-03 plays a vital role in meeting the electricity needs of the local community and industries. However, this network faces significant challenges in maintaining the stability of the electricity supply, particularly due to external disturbances caused by animals such as birds, monkeys, and reptiles. These disturbances can damage network components such as insulators and conductors, leading to short circuits, equipment damage, and power outages that affect customers. This problem is further exacerbated by the geographical conditions of ULP Singkil, which is dominated by rural and forested areas, increasing the intensity of interaction between animals and the electricity network. This study aims to evaluate and propose steps for optimizing daily maintenance on feeder SI-03, especially in handling animal-related disturbances. Based on disturbance data from January to March 2024, the SAIDI and ENS values at ULP Singkil show results that exceed the targets, indicating the need for improvements. As an innovative solution, this research proposes the use of used tires mounted on electrical pole brackets to reduce disturbances caused by animals.
