Abstract

Industry 4.0 drives supply chain digitalization to enhance operational efficiency. This study analyzes the impact of Digital Supply Chain (DSC) implementation on achieving production targets in a shortening oil company. A quantitative approach with descriptive analysis was used to measure efficiency improvements. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results show that DSC increased operational efficiency by 17%, reduced production downtime by 66.67%, and increased production capacity from 4,650 kg/hour to 5,738 kg/hour. Additionally, DSC contributed to reducing raw material waste and improving production target achievement by 14.76%. Statistical analysis confirmed that DSC significantly affects production efficiency, contributing 80%. This study recommends better system integration and workforce training to maximize DSC benefits.

Abstract

This study analyzes the potential of tea farming in Samigaluh District, Kulon Progo, which spans 100.33 hectares with a production output of 220.26 tons in 2021. Beyond being an agribusiness commodity, tea also supports the development of agro-tourism-based ecotourism. Farmers' average monthly income is Rp 2,142,027, with an R/C ratio of 5.11, indicating significant profitability. The use of Urea and Compost fertilizers is a key factor influencing production outcomes. Challenges include climate change, trade monopolies, and limited packaging innovation. Government support in technical training, agricultural technology access, and marketing strategies is essential to enhance the sustainability of tea farming. Further research is needed to address market and environmental challenges and strengthen institutional roles in supporting farmers' competitiveness in local and international markets.

Abstract

Rumah Kedelai Soya Ayu focuses on the production and sale of various soy-based products. The business offers high-quality soy milk as a result of the creativity and dedication of Agus Murtini, who started the business in 2019 with a focus on quality and innovation. In this study, Rumah Kedelai Soya Ayu was selected as the research site to evaluate the effectiveness of its facility layout and product display within a constrained spatial environment. The aim was to optimize the use of limited space. The research aims to evaluate the flow of activities between facilities using the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) and Total Closeness Rating (TCR) methods. The results show that the soy milk production area should be prioritized as it has the highest TCR value of 190, making it important to place other facilities, such as storage rooms and display areas, in close proximity to improve operational efficiency. A good layout strategy at Rumah Kedelai Soya Ayu not only facilitates operations but also enhances the customer experience. Customers can easily enjoy high-quality products, creating a pleasant shopping environment.

Abstract

PT. Dalwa Anugrah Hasaniyah is a bottled drinking water company under the auspices of the Dalwa Islamic boarding school. This company can be said to be a new company, therefore it needs to market its products effectively and efficiently. To achieve effective and efficient marketing, a marketing analysis is carried out. This analysis aims to analyze the strategies applied to the PT. Dalwa Anugrah Hasaniyah business as well as formulate new strategies by considering internal and external factors and determining alternative strategies that should be prioritized. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with analysis techniques using the IFAS-EFAS matrix, IE matrix, and SWOT matrix. The results of the analysis show that the Dalwa Anugrah Hasaniyah company is in the Grow and Build position so that the best strategy is to maintain and continue to innovate. The results of the SWOT recommendations, the company must read the market situation, establish cooperative relationships between agencies or governments, and sponsorship at events that require bottled drinking water.

Abstract

Mushrooms are one type of popular food ingredient and are in great demand by the public. However, the increasing demand for mushrooms is often difficult to meet because the cultivation process is still carried out conventionally, which takes quite a long time. Therefore, this study aims to design a tool that can help the baglog compaction process using a machine. In the process of designing a baglog press tool, the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method is used. The initial stage in this study is to identify consumer needs, which are then implemented in the preparation of the House of Quality (HOQ). Based on the HOQ results, the components with the highest weight include an electric motor drive with a value of 100%, an easy operating system with a weight of 64%, and a lightweight main frame with a weight of 64%. From this study, a tool design was obtained with dimensions of 102 cm high, 80 cm long, and 60 cm wide.

Abstract

Effective leadership and communication play an important role in creating a productive and harmonious work environment. This study aims to analyse the influence of effective leadership and communication on employee performance at PT KLK Dumai. Using a quantitative approach, this study involved 30 employees from various sectors to evaluate the relationship between the influence of leadership and communication on employee performance. The result of the coefficient of determination is that the leadership and communication variables are able to explain 49.2% of the model, while the remaining 51.8% is influenced by other models. While the results of the anova output show that the F significance is 0.001, which is <0.0001499 alpha, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the variables X1, X2 with y. Therefore the results showed that leadership and communication have a significant effect on employee performance. Therefore, the results showed that leadership and communication that is open, clear, and reciprocal have a positive correlation with employee performance at PT KLK Dumai.

Abstract

Freight rail is one mode of transportation that has a large carrying capacity, making it an ideal choice for transporting massive amounts of goods. However, based on data from the FGD: Portrait of Freight Transportation in Indonesia presented by Djoko Setijowarno on March 15, 2023 at Alila Hotel - Solo, the use of freight trains in Indonesia is still very low, which is only 47.6 million tons/year or 0.26% of the total national freight transportation. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review method to analyze the potential and challenges of freight trains. The results show that freight trains have great potential to become the main choice for businesses in distributing their products economically and on time. In addition, the use of freight trains can also provide benefits to the government, including reducing air pollution, road damage due to ODOL (Over Dimension Over Loading) trucks, waste of subsidized fuel oil (BBM), and the high number of road accidents. Therefore, a joint effort is needed from the government, business actors, and the community to increase the use of freight trains as an efficient, economical, and environmentally friendly mode of transportation.

Abstract

The increasing number of online and e-commerce stores and consumer demand shows that delivery services are in high demand. Factors such as affordability, accessibility, speed of delivery, ease of tracking, and service quality influence the selection of delivery services. This study aims to explore the factors that influence consumers' decision to choose a delivery service, including existing factors (price, speed, and service) as well as new factors. In addition, this study also examines the effect of customer loyalty on the performance of delivery service companies. This study used linear regression on a sample of 35 teenage respondents aged 17-21 who had used delivery services. The results show that teenagers are very concerned about various factors in choosing a delivery service, and these factors affect customer loyalty.

Abstract

In construction projects, delays often occur, causing increased costs and delays in completion. This study analyzes project acceleration with the crashing method on the Untirta Rectorate Building Construction Project, comparing the alternatives of 3-hour overtime and work Shifts. The goal is to determine the optimal project duration and cost. The analysis shows that there are 14 jobs on the critical path. The results of acceleration with 3-hour overtime resulted in a project cost of Rp3,104,007,500 with a duration of 431 days, while work Shifts require Rp1,280,228,250 with a duration of 427 days. The total slope cost for 3-hour overtime is Rp193,244,923.38, and work Shifts Rp36,611,338.93. Alternative cost comparison shows that overtime has direct costs of Rp49,158,386,780 and indirect costs of Rp3,971,376,850, while Shift work has direct costs of Rp47,334,607,530 and indirect costs of Rp3,962,700,980. Shift work is more efficient in terms of cost and time.

Abstract

The success of a project is greatly influenced by the productivity of its workers. K3 is an indicator of the success of a project. This study aims to determine the effect of K3 knowledge on work productivity, to determine the effect of K3 attitudes on work productivity, to determine the effect of K3 behavioral awareness on work productivity. This type of research uses quantitative methods. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, unstructured interviews, field observations and literature studies. The sample in this study were construction workers at two building construction project locations totaling 125 respondents. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis, instrument testing (validity testing and reliability testing), classical assumption testing (normality testing), multiple linear regression coefficient testing, and hypothesis testing (t-test, f-test, and coefficient of determination). The magnitude of the influence that has been proven through the determination coefficient test for the independent variable is 18.7% on the dependent variable which can be concluded that the independent variable does not have a large influence.
