Abstract

It is very important to develop water resources in the Ende islands, Ende Regency, NTT, especially regarding the fulfillment of the population's clean water needs, which currently tend to be inadequate. The survey results show that the source of clean water for the population to meet the needs of MCK and drinking water is from Shallow Wells and Rainwater Storage (PAH). Meanwhile, based on the results of the research, it shows that both the quantity and quality of water from these two sources are inadequate and good. So it is necessary to develop and improve clean water facilities and infrastructure, including improving the quality of drinking water for the population. The study of the development of water resources in this area resulted in several related suggestions, namely in this area it is necessary to build a surface water catchment building with a reinforced concrete pool. This building is to serve the provision of clean water for residents on the ridge and in the western foothills. Recommended building locations around the valley/ridge east of the island. Other shallow wells scattered in the settlements cannot be used for clean water because their hardness is high so they are not suitable for drinking. And one Osmosis water management unit is no longer functioning.

Abstract

Kara Wutung traditional market, is one of the traditional markets on the island of Adonara, East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This market plays a very important role in meeting the living needs of the people around the island of Adonara. This market serves as a buffer for the community's economy and is one of the sources of income for local governments. The main problem of Kara Wutung market is that the indoor space of the market during the day is seen in dark, stuffy, hot and smelly conditions, this is due to the lack of openings for natural lighting and circulation for air in and out. These spaces must require artificial lighting during the day such as lights and artificial lighting such as fans and air conditioners to reduce hot air temperature conditions. In redesigning this market by choosing an energy-saving theme. The selection of this theme aims to minimize the consumption ofenergy used for theuse of electric lights, air conditioners / fans. The reduction in energy use, especially during the day, is carried out by utilizing natural lighting from the sun and natural lighting from the wind. This method of design is carried out by analyzing data by means of; quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, and comparative analysis. Data collection is carried out by means of; literature studies, interviews, as well as observations. After conducting the analysis, the next stage is to draw up the concept of planning and designing. From the results of the design at the Kara Wutung traditional market using energy-efficient design concepts and strategies, it has provided the right solution to the problems that occur in the Kara Wutung traditional market. The application of design concepts and strategies is carried out in ways such as; utilizing naturallighting with the addition of skylight on the roof of the building, the use of vegetation as a sunlight filter. Focusing on the wide openings in the building, placing the building extending from the north south direction, the building is designed with a dominant flat plane shape and rectangular and a gable roof with openings above the roof so that air circulation can easily go in and out.

Abstract

One of the beaches that has good natural potential and has been recognized by the Department ofCulture and Tourism of Ende Regency is Stone Ring Beach which is located in Ende Regency. StoneRing Beach is located in Raporendu Village, Nangapanda District, Ende Regency. The stone ringbeach itself is a cliff that is at sea level and there are holes like stone rings that are unique on thebeach. There is no road as vehicle access to enter Stone Ring beach because the area is still natural.The research with the title "Arrangement of Stone Ring Beach Tourism Area in Ende Regency" has aproblem formulation of how to organize Stone Ring Beach with facilities or infrastructure in order tosupport the activities of visitors. The purpose of this research is to plan and design the main facilitiesand supporting facilities that can make Stone Ring Beach an attractive and superior touristdestination.In this study, qualitative and quantitative research methods were used, while the data sourcesused were obtained from the results of direct observations and interviews with the community, villageofficials, and visitors to Stone Ring Beach. The data obtained will then be analyzed, the analysis usedincludes drafting site processing concepts, compiling zoning and utility concepts, compiling conceptsfor relations, magnitude, and space requirements, compiling concepts for spatial planning andcirculation, drafting regional characteristics concepts, drafting structural and construction concepts.The concept of formation that will be planned is to use the roof of the traditional house of Endedistrict and the surrounding community by considering the concept of ecotourism in order to maintainthe culture around the area.Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, the results obtainedfrom the analysis of the design of the Stone Ring beach tourist area refer to the concept of EcotourismArchitecture which is expected to develop the Stone Ring beach tourist area which has main facilitiesand adequate supporting facilities and can attract tourists to come and visit. The application of theEcotourism Architecture theme is also expected to improve the community's economy and not damagethe surrounding environment.

Abstract

The determination of public transportation rates in the North Ende District area is something that is dancingto be studied. It should be noted that the population in Ende Subdistrict consists of students, students,traders, civil servants, laborers, farmers. So there are still many variables that affect and involve variousparties. The research methodology by conducting interviews and questionnaires is spread across 7 zones.The data collected includes the desire of passengers to get the cheapest fares and public transport operators.For this reason, studies in determining the initial tariff and adjusting tariffs need to be carried outmeasurable studies. In the study, it found that the operational cost of the vehicle (BOK) was Rp.385,695.44.4% of transportation services are students with a rate of Rp.1,400 and 55.56% of general use at a rate ofRp.2,800. The average freight fare is Rp.2,175. Meanwhile, the ability of transportation users to pay tariffs isaround Rp.1,400 to Rp.2,600. And the willingness to use public transportation to pay a tariff of Rp.1,000 toRp.2,600. An average of Rp.1888 means that 24.25% of user will is below average value and 75.75% will isabove average. The conclusion of the tariff determination in North Ende sub-district is still within the normlimit where the student fare is IDR 1,400 and general passengers are IDR 2,800. It is not much different fromthe ability and willingness to use public transport.

Abstract

St. Shade of Love Children's Orphanage Elisabeth is a potential solution to be developed and redesigned to complement the limited facilities to support children's activities at this orphanage for the next few years considering that there are still many orphans and neglected children who cannot be accommodated. and fostered, because as a container or home, the St Elisabeth Children's Orphanage has a special task of providing care for children aged infants/infants (0-1.5 years), children aged toddlers/toddlers (1.5 -3 years), pre-school age children (3-5 years), school age children (5-10 years), junior high school children, high school / vocational school children, children college students and working-age children whose lives are neglected. With the concept of the Neo-Vernacular Ende-Lio architectural design approach, the Orphanage presents new facilities to support existing activities at this Orphanage, the existing Main Facilities and Supporting Facilities are arranged in such a way as to apply the Neo-vernacular Architectural Concept in the interior and exterior of the building. The pattern of building layout and circulation in the inside and outside of the building is closer to the Ende-Lio vernacular concept. This redesign is expected to answer the needs of Ende Lio architectural cultural expression in a real way in modern developments

Abstract

Hotel is a type of accommodation that uses part or all of the building that provides lodging, food and beverage services and other services for the public, which are managed commercially. Providing recreational and entertainment facilities, sports and fitness facilities, business and office service facilities, financial service facilities, shopping facilities, as well as the development of other supporting facilities needed for guest and visitor activities. The method used is an architectural design method with the concept of Post Modern Architecture as a design reference. The analysis used in this design includes environmental analysis, actor analysis, spatial scale analysis, shape analysis and outdoor space analysis. The results obtained from the design of the 3-star Puumbara resort hotel in Raterua Village are presenting nature-related tourism in hilly areas with the concept of a post-modern architectural theme. The application of the theme in the design is the difference in ground elevation and the use of hard materials such as wood, paving blocks, garden lights, and soft materials such as grass and shade vegetation and ground cover.

Abstract

The conversion of land functions in the slope area which was previously a protected forest and then being cut to make roads will certainly affect the level of stability. High intensity rains will also affect the increase in surface runoff which will erode the surface of the slopes and erosion. To prevent this from happening, it is necessary to study the safety level of the slopes along the Lokoboko-Lokipere road due to changes in soil water content. Soil sampling is carried out by taking disturbed soil and undisturbed soil and testing soil properties, among others; soil consistency, analysis of specific gravity, cohesion, and shear angle with the addition of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of the initial moisture content. The results of this test show that physically the soil samples on the Lokoboko-Lokipere road section of Ende Regency are classified in soil group A-2-5, namely in the form of gravel and sandy soils that are silt or loamy. Meanwhile, according to USCS, the soil can be classified as silty sand (SM). Mechanically. For slopes with a height of 10 m, it is not safe to add water to 100% of the initial condition (wi), SF=0.996. For a 20 m high slope, it is no longer safe from the initial conditions, SF=0.950. The failure plane for slopes with a height of 10 m is deeper than the failure plane for slopes with a height of 20 m.

Abstract

The Lobo Keda ritual is an inauguration of Sao Keda (which is a meeting place) for Mosalaki, traditional leaders of the traditional settlement in Nggela Village. There are seventeen Mosalaki inhabiting 15 traditional houses who continuously maintain their unique indigenous culture. This primary study aims to look at a Lobo Keda ritual process by observing community behaviour and a relationship between Mosalaki and traditional settlement patterns. The research was conducted by qualitative descriptive research method. The results reveal data on how the Lobo Keda ritual and traditional settlement patterns in Ngela Village influences one another, as well as explain how other factors may be influencing such as history, beliefs, cosmology, orientation, sacred elements and social structure.

Abstract

According to the contract, the implementation of the work on the construction of the East Flores MAN 2 integrated dormitory building project ending on December 31 2020 has reached 100%, but only 3.68% of the project has experienced delays. This study aims to determine the effect of human resource factors, costs, materials and equipment on the completion of the East Flores MAN 2 integrated dormitory building project. With a quantitative descriptive method. The data for this study were sourced from questionnaires distributed to 25 respondents who were stratified by population stratification into project owners, contractors, consultants, foremen, builders, and laborers. The results of the analysis obtained sig. Human resources of 0.028 <0.05 and t count -23.067 > t table 12.71. sig. value Cost of 0.041 <0.05 and t count 15.635 > t table 12.71. sig. value Material of 0.006 <0.05 and t count 98.758 > t table 12.71. sig. value Equipment of 0.017 <0.05 and t count -37.437 > t table 12.71. The conclusion is that there is an influence of human resource factors, costs, materials, and equipment on the completion of the East Flores MAN 2 integrated dormitory building project, and material factors are the most influential.
