Abstract

Fetal stimulation is an attempt made by parents to stimulate the fetus to increase its fundamental abilities so that it can grow and develop properly after birth. Fetal stimulation is in keeping with the government's First 1000 Days of Life program, which states that from the time the baby is formed in the womb until the kid is 2 (two) years old, there is an accelerated phase of growth and development. This study aimed to ascertain pregnant women's perceptions of stimulating the fetus. As there are still many pregnant women who don't know how to properly stimulate the fetus, this type of research is still uncommon but highly intriguing to examine. A qualitative research method with a phenomenological perspective was employed in this study. 15 pregnant ladies were interviewed in-depth and their conversations were recorded on audio files. employing a system of purposeful sampling to find informants. This study's analysis was conducted using NVivo 12 Plus. The study's findings focused on two themes: how to comprehend fetal stimulation and how gestational age affects fetal stimulation. The mother's comprehension of and gestational age in stimulating the fetus affects the mother's impression of stimulating the fetus. For pregnant women's perceptions of fetus stimulation, the majority of moms already know how to stimulate the fetus, notably through caressing, conversing, reading the Qur’an, and listening to murottal and music. However, there are still women who are unaware of fetal stimulation. The sort of fetal stimulation was administered by pregnant women at the same time in this study, thus it was not committed to specific forms of stimulation.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is one of many infectious diseases that are still a public health problem worldwide. In 2019, WHO declared a global TB disease emergency because, in most countries, TB is getting out of control, especially in developing countries. Media use in health education should include things that support TB control programs, especially MDR-TB. This study aimed to determine the effect of tuberculosis communication, information, and education (CIE) in the community on awareness of early detection of tuberculosis in the community at the Kedondong sub-district health center, Pesawaran district, in 2021. The type of research used in this research is the Quasi Experiment. This type of experimental research makes observations twice, where before (pre-test) and after (post-test). The population in this study is the community at the Kedondong Health Center, Kedondong District, Pesawaran Regency. Three hundred sixty samples of respondents were taken by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by chi-square statistical test. he results of the validity and reliability tests revealed that there was an effect of IEC on awareness of early detection of tuberculosis. The results showed that the median value before giving CIE was 31, and the median value after giving CIE was 40. There was a clear difference in the average between before and after being given the CIE intervention. The statistical test obtained a p-value of 0.00, where the p-value <0.05 means that giving CIE affects awareness of early tuberculosis detection. Activities like this can be carried out on an ongoing basis to monitor medication adherence and PHBS habits in preventing the transmission of TB disease.

Abstract

There are still many problems in the use of artificial sweeteners in Indonesia. Artificial sweeteners are still often used above the allowable threshold. Cyclamate is one of the sweeteners that is often used in Indonesia. Cyclamate has no caloric value and is difficult to absorb by the gastrointestinal tract. However, a number of variables hydrolyzed by bacteria in the intestinal tract can form cyclohexilamine which is a potential carcinogen. Two scientific studies linked cyclamate to the production of rat bladder cancer tumors which led to cyclamate being banned from use in many countries. This study was to identify cyclamate content among contemporary drinks in Urban Area of Mamuju Regency. This research was conducted in June – August 2022. The sample of this study is a contemporary drink circulating in the Urban Area of Mamuju Regency as many as 30 brands. The research method uses observational methods with a descriptive approach. Cyclamate content is measured using gravimetric methods. based on SNI 01-2893-1992 concerning How to Test Artificial Sweeteners. Data collection is carried out by taking samples of contemporary drinks and then checking the cyclamate content in the laboratory. The samples taken are drinks with the best-selling flavor variants in each brand. The measurement result is compared with the threshold standard. It is said to exceed the threshold if the weighing results are above 3 mg / L. This study was analyzed using descriptive analysis. All samples examined contained cyclamate with the lowest content of 1.19 gr/L and the highest at 237.9 gr/L and 24 brands of contemporary drinks containing cyclamate above 3gr/L. Conclusions: 80% of contemporary drinks circulating in Urban Area of Mamuju Regency contained cyclamate exceeding the threshold.

Abstract

Gout is a disease by elevated uric acid that is categorized as a degenerative disease by process of decreasing organ function which generally occurs in old age but can also occur in adulthood due to decreased health status. The epidemiological studies showed that a high BMI triggers risk factors for lifestyle-related diseases such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and high uric acid. The other finding stated that regular exercise produces an immunomodulatory effect, which may contribute to health benefits. Despite the high prevalence of gout and evidence that underscores the benefits of physical activity in rheumatic diseases, there has been no discussion about the link between Body Mass Index (BMI), physical activity and elevated uric acid. The main objective is to analyze the body mass index and level of activity on uric acid levels, and the first specific objective is to describe the characteristics of the responden. The study conducted in Martapura 1 Public Health Center by an observational cross sectional design using linear regression models. Thirty respondents were collected using simple random sampling and questionnaire containing the result of BMI, physical activity level and uric acid was used to measure the data. There is a significant effect between BMI and physical activity together on uric acid levels. The BMI value obtained f count > f table (3.800 > 2.0484) means that partially BMI has a positive effect on uric acid. Physical activity value obtained f count > f table (-1.610 <2.0484) means H0 is accepted Conclusions: Research showed that an increase in BMI can increase uric acid levels by controlling variabel of physical activity (B=0,27, P=0.001 in BMI; B=-0.002, P=0.119 in physical activity).
